This was our second remain at the Howard Johnson. It fulfilled our needs. The inn staff were to an incredible degree fulfilling and pleasant. The breakfast choice was yummy. The rooms were unblemished and clean. The free transport was amazing also I didn't know they had one! What's more, the driver is super neighborly. I would support remaining with this motel.

The greater part of their staff are doing amazing business. We basically had 2 entire days to visit the zone and the zone was mind boggling. Everything considered a particularly enduring and cordial staff. Complimentary espresso, tea, hot chocolate 24 hours for every day in the entryway. New and warm treats were served at 8 pm.

This was our first outing to this city and what a brilliant place to remain. We will be back. This little boutique lodging is concealed in an astonishing area appropriate over the road from the River walk. The vibe and staff made this an extremely significant outing. Jesse was so helpful. His own administration was so valued. Liza, the GM, was exceptionally polite and gave us incredible recommendations for touring. Loiuse checked us in with an inviting welcome, despite the fact that it was 1:00 am. We can hardly wait to return.

Top notch administration and extraordinary lodging. The bed resembles a cloud. Good complimentary breakfast! This inn is near many incredible eateries and bars. They have an awesome warmed pool and hot tub situated out entryways on the rooftop best of the lodging. Spa Utophia is a phenomenal spa situated on the lower floor of the hotel. Well worth looking at for a treatment. Full utilization of the steam room also. As a movement operator they gave me early check in at 1PM and additionally a move up to a sea see room! I will remain there again and additionally prescribe to a considerable lot of my customers. Decent arrangements.

Incredible, fun, unwinding. Had an extraordinary one night remain at the Howard Johnson, room, staff and area was simply awesome! Remained in the Club rooms and found the administration brilliant. Would like to remain there again later on. Beautiful View from our room!

Incredible administration and exquisite lounge area. Want to stay once more. Was there for business. Extremely like the pool and sauna and hot tub and the barkeeps are well disposed and respectful and they make great beverages.

Booked the Howard Johnson Suites. Room was very nice and spacious. Lounge access for Howard Club members had great selection of snacks, food, and drinks. Location is really great, at the heart of downtown Vancouver with amazing views. Easily accessible by transit. Really enjoyed our stay here!

Class and service, One of the nicest hotels in TX :) Incredible pre-journey lodging, Great stay, Excellent, Pleasing, 5 Star. Lodging was ideal area for gatherings and travel. Administration was extraordinary. Staff is so decent and room is extremely perfect! It is so excellent view and decent place to remain! The style, design, and format influence you to feel like you're remaining in the visitor room. They have a decent pool, and the lodging is near the airplane terminal. Really an extraordinary esteem.

Hotel is nice. The Management is some what an issue. They have a retail Ice cream cooler with prices with the pictures of each item just like most convenient stores. The Owner / Manager tried adding a Service Fee when I went to pay for my ice cream. I questioned Him how about the Posted price and asked what the local sells tax is. The posted price was $1.89 he tried to charge me $3.14 He was very rude and demanding about the addition service fee. When I asked for a receipt He refused. After a about 5 mins of back and forth. I was charged Only the $1.89 and Told I could not purchase anything there including a drink from a coin/bill/ credit debt card vending machine. Other than the one Man all the rest of the staff were nice and helpfull.

Service nice I loved the room very clean nice showers and they have everything in it small office, hair dryer, microwave, fridge, ironing and ironing bored, and a safe in their. Am truck driver I had to stay for a night to get my truck fixed. Dont forget your free breakfast enjoy guys.

Convenient at the time it was all we could find on short notice. One thing that bothered us was the door to enter they had it with a tie wrap so anyone could come in which was dangerous. Cleanliness was about a 4. The hotel shares a parking lot with a steak house so that's convenient, although parking gets tight at night. Lots of stores around the area easy access to I35.

The management SUCKS and is not a friendly lady. only reason for 1 star is cause it would not let me give no stars! worse manager ever!

Quaint little hotel. New owners made some great updates too. Love staying here during Wurstfest. Great steakhouse next door too.

Shower not working rite. Light not working by bed. Toilet did not flush, the first time. Or second time. Price is good but you get what you pay for. Suggest you go out for breakfast. Wouldn't recommend it.

We rented a Room and the mattress was so caved in when we brought it to the staff attention they did t want to change rooms nor did they try and refund us some of the money back. I will not stay another night here nor recommend this hotel to anyone.

I would give them no Stars, but HAD to put one it would not let me leave no, now my very dear friend got very unprofessional service, promise you one thing and then they give you the run around, used Expedia, very terrible experience, never again… NEVER EVER AGAIN. I expected more from a Howard Johnson.

So I am so not impressed and hope I never stay here again. There were THREE baby roaches in our room and I swear I smelt poop and weed in the hallway. And the only protein offered in the continental breakfast were boiled eggs… which were bad eggs to begin with.

BEWARE: ROACHES! If I could leave a — 5 star I would… this place was horrible… I wouldn't recommend all the stay animals to stay there for free! A. C. Didn't work… bed was so old it had crators where people have slept and there were ROACHES! Nasty ones! There was trash from the previous guest and hair in the bed!

Very dated, mattresses we're very badly stained. No cleanliness bathroom had hair on the floor and rooms have a smell to them. Furniture in rooms was horrible drawers wouldn't stay closed! My biggest complaint is the customer service was HORRIBLE! They do not provide extra blankets or extra anything at all! We checked in around 2 30 pm and they guy was very rude! I almost didn't want to check in but it was already paid for! I would strongly suggest DO NOT STAY HERE!

No stars. There were bed bugs and the man at the front desk was rude. We canceled and went to a different hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This place doesn't deserve any stars. Bed bugs. MAJOR ISSUES •FREAKIN BED BUGS! THAT I NOW HAVE TO TREAT WITH MY MONEY! •The smoke detector in my room was disconnected from the wall •underneth the bed sheet looked like a murder had been committed in our room. •Our window didn't lock. •We didn't get a refund for the night we couldn't stay there due to the BED BUG. Issue. Now I am having to pay more for the dang bed bug problem then I did for the hotel. The manager was rude when we asked for a refund back because we had to go to a different hotel, because Who would want to stay there any longer knowing that there are bugs probably crawling in all of your things and those suckers are hard to get rid of. So I now get to throw away at least $600 worth of clothes, shoes and luggage that I took and don't even have the money I paid for this crappy hotel that gave me the bugs in the first place. Would not reccomend this place to anyone in a million years. Go somewhere nice it will cost you just as much as treating bed bugs or someone crawling in your window at night or none the less a fire being started and the smoke alarms don't go off. In other words you're better off somewhere else. Minor issues •The breakfast sucked •there was hair that didn't belong to me left on the wall of the shower. •the furniture was tore to shreds •the floors and bedding were nasty •the walls had left over gunk on them. •the ceiling looked like they had water stains or mold.

We had low expectations based on price and reviews but the owner was lovely and patient. Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable and the A/C unit looked new. My only complaint is that the drains are slow. I would recommend this place if you want a reasonably priced place to stay near the river.

Because of the affordable rates we stayed here. We were charged on our card twice for the stay. Went back again gave us a room with the air conditioning broken, there was no microwave and mosquitoes in the bathroom. Will not stay here again. And they charge $150 for weekend rates. Go stay somewhere else!

I put five stars so everyone could see this. My 63 year old father came into town to visit family. As he was going inside he fell and no one cared or offered assistance. Then he gets assigned a room that was missing lights and had mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. So we asked the people for another room because there was mold. They rolled their eye like we were crazy then gave us another room that was worse. Also in the rooms the carpet was so nasty you didn't want to take off your shoe's.

This place is absolutely disgusting. We walked in and had to leave immediately. The small throw pillows were ALL they had to offer, dingy towels, yellow stained bedding, MOLD in the picture frame, something weird in the bath tub and all they wanted to do was offer another room. Priceline wouldn't refund us because the manager here is a greedy host that can't get a room clean before allowing it to be booked. Never, ever again.

Do. Not. Stay. Here. ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Bad customer service… staff doesn't help you out with anything. We left because it was that bad & asked for a refund. When asked. Their story always changes as to why we can't have one. Door locks were broken. Rooms were dirty. Manager is NEVER on site. Do yourself a favor & save $70… don't stay here.

Didn't spend much time in the room. It was clean but had issues getting into the room due to counter intuitive door handle.

Great, professional staff and $55/night. Shower had some hair on the wall and a lamp didn't work. But the AC, TV, bed, toilet, hot water, ice machine, and breakfast were good!

So im here on buisness, one employee and myself. We check in arounf 9pm room was ok. Went to sleep, I woke up around 1 am to find a bunch of bed bugs crawling around. I imeditly go to check out and inform the front desk worker. He never refunded my money. If you want a horrible experience with bugs included this is the place.

Nice, clean room, but lacking full service. The a/c inexplicably shut off during much of the night. It was very warm. The TV was difficult to operate, and the curtains were not quite long enough to cover the window, which meant sunlight streaming in early. The refrigerator was VERY hard to open. Very little hot water. About 5 minutes worth, and then the water turned ice cold. Ghastly! Everything else was fine.

The worst place I ever stayed and I have been in bad areas got put in one room there was a roach in the bed then one on the iron board so told them they moved us to another room got in there then one roach on the night stand. Asked for a refund he said he couldn't only do half off and move us to another room. We took the half off and stayed at another hotel would not recommend abyone to stay there. The host kept walking away while we was talking to him and he only had socks on no shoes not professional at all he has a additude as well. I was sleeping in the first room he went in and put blankets back like noone was sleeping in there. All together horrible.

Disgusting, horrible, and scary are the words that come to my mind when I think of my stay here. We stayed here with a big group of school kids all in rooms with double beds. When we first got here I noticed it smelled of cigarettes. When we got to our room I noticed that one of the pillows on the bed did not have a pillow case. Looking around some more, I noticed there was no hair dryer either. There is no comforter on the bed, just sheets. Later that night we had to get our own blankets out of the car. Then I went downstairs to get some more towels and EVERY SINGLE TOWEL had a stain on it. Brown stains, red stains, orange stains and some of them were also torn. We went to HEB and bought new towels. When the girls were settling in the room next door, one of them found a cock ring (a sex toy) on the window sill and a syringe under a chair. I'm not kidding. I cannot make this up. A syringe under the chair. The house keeping here absolutely sucks. When we told the clerk about what happened, all she said was that she could take notes and there's nothing else she could do. When I was about to take a shower I also noticed there were little hair shavings on the wall of the shower. Obviously that had not been cleaned either. Seriously you could not pay me to stay here another night. Do not stay here.

Night front desk service is good the room was decent but the the but the housekeepers really need to do a better job on cleaning those rooms there's a few things left behind by the previous ones but not too bad overall it was not bad 3 stars.

Warning! Just Horrible… Cum Stains on Sheets… Got another room… Same thing… Little roaches everywhere… Smells like roach spray in the halls and rooms… Green pool… stolen bike frame next to the pool… no soap in rooms… used lotion… broken hair dryer… cruddy shower… cracked room mirrros… 50 — 50 chance the TV works… Was with little league football team and did not make the reservations. Regret staying that night. Never again! Ohhhhh, way over priced… $80 bucks a night… Would not give any stars if I could. Worst place ever! Warning!

Please please please avoid this place. We were booked for 2 nights, only managed one… and I don't even know why we did that. We arrived late in the night and bed #1's blanket had two quarter-sized blood stains on it — not washed stains, but fresh and dry stains. One of the blankets on bed had a dark substance on it that was smeared in several spots — it also appeared fresh. That same blanket had something that had solidified and was stuck on it. Called front desk, they replaced the blankets, but denied it being blood — said it was food. It was blood. We stood that night — slept on and covered ourselves with our beach towels! Checked out the next morning, but not before discovering several blood stains on a hand-towel in the restroom!

Dirty and run down. Shower is hard to turn on. Window in my room was unlocked. Everything in the room was unplugged, the lights, the tv, the microwave the alarm clock. We tired to plug in the lights and the wall plugs didn't work.

Horrible Hotel I have never in my life regretted staying in a hotel more than I do now. The room was stuffy stinky and dirty. There was trash under each of the beds such as an orange Fanta bottle rotten banana and candy wrappers. The bathroom floor still had a dirty towel in it. The surfaces of everything were gross. The pool had Dirt in it on the bottom and it was grimy. There was a random whole in the pool floor that my son accidentally stepped into and hurt his ankle. The breakfast was all frozen and thawed out food. The biscuits were the worst cause even though they were warm you could taste the difference. The mix for the waffles were too runny and tasted funny. There was dead roaches in the hall and sticky stuff in the carpet. Overall the hotel should be condemned. I just can't believe that Wyndham Rewards is anywhere associated with this hotel.

We stayed their for 4 days and it was a great stay. Most hotels are water will not give u towels. We were using 5 to 7 day and no one said a word and that was nice. The staff was always nice and friendly. I will be staying there again when we get back to the river.

Worst hotel ever, when we arrived to the hotel was greeted great. Then I got to my room, the sheet had hair and bugs in them, asked them to change, they did. Then the sink wouldn't drain, so asked them to fix it but they couldn't. So they gave me a new room. Which was better, but still bad. Then found out the fridge didn't work, was told sorry can't do anything about it. Won't ever be staying here again.

Though in a great location not far from where we needed to be. The hallway smelled like urine. The bathroom door knob in our room was broke. We could hear a cricket all night in our room but did not see it anywhere. ANNOYING! … Checking out the lady at the front desk didn't want to give me a receipt she keep saying that I could get one online… really? …

Horrible bad hotel I have ever stay. We got a room for the weekend and it was the worse room I have ever been in a hotel. Blood stain on sheets the badroom was DIRTY. When I went to the front desk the men when upstairs with my husband. Came back all upset because we used the room for less then 2 hrs. My wife even told him why was he upset and yelling at us. My wife told him look I just want a clean room, you can move us from rooms or clean the room we are in. The receptionist offer 50% discount. Which we said ok but change the sheet. The receptionist told us no either take the room has is or discount. We were very upset at this point he proceed on calling the Manager on the phone. My wife explain the situation and try to work things out but just got worse and just request for full refund. Don't stay here.

The front desk clerk was friendly, but that's about it. Everything else was horrible. These rooms are way over priced. When we got in the room it was musky and smelled like cigarettes. There were no towels in the room, we had to go down to front desk and get them ourselves. The wash cloths were gross and stained. There was even a used cleaning cloth left in our bathroom that had gross looking stains of I don't know what! The hallways smell like old beer. I do NOT recommend anyone stay here.

Made reservation and when I arrived the room smelled awful. It was dark and smelled of mold and body odor and cigarette smoke. I complained to the manager. We ended up staying at another hotel but he charged me for a full night anyways! Do not stay here! Customer service is horrible. I was definitely ripped off.

We arrived in the middle of an ice storm, at about 10 pm, my daughter was in a cast up to her shoulder and in a lot of pain. We parked the car for the night and checked in. The night manager recognized our name on the reservation. He offered to go outside and help us carry our bags in. The hotel was clean and comfortable and we felt safe. The room was just big enough. It was clean and up to date. The beds were comfortable. In the morning, the front desk clerk was friendly. The breakfast bar was good enough and I was able to ask for more juice after the breakfast time had ended. The room staff all wished us good morning and good bye. What more could you ask for on the iciest day of the year in Texas.

Uncomfortable, unbelievable, unheard of! Suppose to stay 4 days, paid for 4 days, left after 3 days. They did not ask why we were leaving or come back or did you enjoy your stay. Took our room keys and not a word. They NEVER cleaned our room. We would have to ask for towels and trash to be picked up. The girl at the front desk came down one evening, delivered towels and took the trash. The night before we left, we came in at 9:30pm and the girl says wait a minute, leaves the customer she was checking in, goes to the back and hands me towels and two trash bags staying to set it outside the door and she would get it later. The beds were very uncomfortable, the hair dryer did not work (they did find one for us to use) and the toilet had to be flushed 3/4 times. For sure the worse hotel/motel experience I have ever had.

Place is not up to par at all. Smells bad, I have absolutely nothing good to say about this place. Pick somewhere else to stay.

My experience at Howard Johnson in New Braunfels, TX was great! The front desk staff was very welcoming, very helpful, and extremely nice. GREAT HOSPITALITY! The room was clean and the breakfast was much better than the usual bagel and coffee "complimentary breakfast". They have biscuits and gravy, coffee, fruits, waffles, eggs, juice, cereal — — THE WORKS! They also have a pretty decent pool to get some sun. I called the front desk about the guests upstairs making a little noise and they apologized and took care of it very professionally. They even called my room 15 minutes later to make sure the problem was resolved and to ask if there was anything else they could do for me. Overall great experience! Anytime I travel to New Braunfels I always stay there. Very convenient location and great staff.
