Hotel room was great. We loved that check out was at 12. It gave us enough time to rest and get everything ready as well without feeling rushed. The staff was friendly n welcoming. Would stay again.

This was a new Studio 6 building, and we got the distinct feeling that they were not quite prepared for guests. There are nice clean rooms with a good design, but there were no chairs for the two tables built into the room. They brought some chairs, but had to rob them from their lobby to do so. They had no hair dryer in the room, and in order to get one, we had to go pick it up from the desk. The room has a full kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and sink, but the light over the stove did not work. Overall it is a very nice room, and was a decent stay, but they are not quite finished with the preparation of these rooms, and should have finished these items before bringing in guests.

No shampoo, etc in the room. No hair dryer. No area information. Limited television without user guide for control. No ice on the second floor. Spa was foaming (not sure why other than chemicals). Exterior doors were not secured. Rooms were not insulated for sound. This was adequate for a one night stay.

It was a good stay. The room was nice. It was kind of old and run down but it was still okay.

If you love the sound of slamming doors throughout the night then this place is for you! There were also some pretty large holes in the walls, but that's just cosmetic stuff that didn't really bother me. The bed was pretty comfy.

Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. The location was easy to get in and out. Nice to have a refrigerator and microwave. I would recommend having a hairdryer in the rooms. We had to buy one. I would definitely stay again. Good value for the price.

We loved our stay at your hotel. The only thing I would have liked more is to have had the option to turn the air down a bit lower than 68. After a day on the river, it would have been great.

It was nice and the people were very helpful and polite My dog was comfortable and the rooms were clean. I would definitely stay again when coming back to the area.

New Braunfels Motel 6 is excellent. Mark is a terrific manager. The staff are friendly and helpful. Additional occasional maintenance attention sometimes needed on some toilets, refrigerators, bathroom sink and shower surfaces.

The location of motel 6 in New Braunfels is close to everything & easy to get in & out. The rooms are clean & spacious. The service is always 1st class & the front desk staff go out their way to make the stay enjoyable & pleasant.

The elevator is sketchy, started moving up without closing the doors first. The walls are paper thin. And the back door that exits to the parking lot does not close so anyone can have access to the hotel through the back. Not very secure. Rooms are clean and nice.

Staff was wonderful. They were nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean. The toilet would not fill on its own. Noisy and hard to stay asleep.

The door between two rooms that was given to us did not have a lock on it. And was closed with the refrigerator and microwave as a door stopper. The window in that same room was crack and did not lock completely. Which allowed air to come inside and was not safe at all. I asked for another room and the room that was given to me had a hole in the bathroom door. Which could not shut or lock completely. Which I was ok with but at the same time I’m paying for a room to be complete not half done. In the second room the refrigerator leaked on the floor and could have caused a fire because of the connection to the plug. I’m very disappointed in the saftey of these rooms. The bed was comfortable that was the only thing I enjoyed during my stay.

There was no maintenance person. Sadly the toilet in my room got stopped up and the front desk bought the plunger to me for me to unstop it myself. The toilet ran non stop and the sink dripped the whole 5 days I was there. The toilet seat had permanent black marks on it that did not wash off when we cleaned it. The shower was so loud that the kids were scared to use it. The floor in the hall was patched up with black duct tape, and so was a spot in the elevator. They allow pets, but don't have a specified spot for them to booboo so my sister ended up stepping in booboo that was outside the rear exit. The only good thing is the housekeeper was nice. This was the worst hotel stay ever.

The hotel was very cheap but the bathroom didn't really taste much. It was a little noisy but for the price it was worth it.

I've stayed at this location in New Braunfels twice now. They were quick polite and Swift. The Wi-Fi was user-friendly. And they are pet friendly place. I would suggest this place for my friends it's budget-friendly as well and easily located.

Maybe a better warning from I-35. Coming in from the North, we were right on the exit before we saw the sign. It isn't like you could see the signs fro the highway. Also, We had checked out Saturday, but ended up going back that night. BOTH rooms had Bars that stick out from the sides of the beds. These are big safety hazards, and really should be removed. I have 2 bruises on my legs from hitting those things. I have a picture of the bars if someone could tell me how to get them to you, I will send them.

This motel 6 was exactly what I needed. Pet friendly with no worries of dog hair since the floors aren't carpeted but have nice wood flooring. The price is right for someone who can't afford a high class hotel. The coffee was fresh every morning, the staff is very friendly, it is located near anything you may need in the area. I had a wedding to attend 25 minutes away and it was close to where I had to board my dog for 2 days at Noah's Ark right around the corner. And it had a pool and jacuzzi which smelled and looked crystal clear. Keep in mind it is a motel not a hotel (bring your own shampoo) and you will love it.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and grounds maintained well. Nice indoor heated pool abd spa.

Good location near shops. Simple pieces, large and easy to eat.
Good pool and Jacuzzi.

Had a stay here a few weeks ago, and let me just say employees Mark and Tony took care of all of my needs. Nice and friendly staff willing to go above and beyond to make sure your stay at the hotel is great! Clean rooms, great pool and jacuzzi, and most importantly for me was comfortable beds. Located near lots of shops and restaurants. Great amenities great staff, place to stay all around!

Checking in was lovely, staff was super friendly. We walked into the room and I was less then thrilled, the bathroom faucet never shut off, constantly dripping. We needed somewhere to stay last minute so I’m not one to complain. The next evening the smell of smoke was intense, like people were smoking in their rooms when it’s a non smoking hotel. The next night we were woken up by someone upstairs taking a shower that was leaking down in our shower and come to find out there was a flood all over the floor, water coming out of the wall. Finally we said something and we asked to change rooms, at first, the lady said there was nothing else that we would have to wait for maintenance to come and clean it, then finally she said something “opened” up. We switched rooms and yet again doors slamming, many people smoking… if you walked through the hallway you could clearly see towels bunched up below peoples doors to try and prevent the smell. No coffee, no breakfast, and the Wi-Fi hardly worked, we had to sign in every time we would walk back in the hotel. Also the doors staying open 24/7 did not make me feel safe what so ever.

No complaints whatsoever. The place was immaculate. It was real quiet when I was there. It smelled fresh and clean and appeared spotless and as clean as could be. The hot tub and pool were perfect and we had them to ourselves during our visit. The staff were kind and pleasant, nothing spectacular but certainly friendly enough. It was not only affordable, but it was a very good value for a very low price. I'm sure it's not always this perfect for everyone, but it was for me. Probably just happenstance, but my visit couldn't have been more perfect. It was my best experience ever with a Motel 6.

Every faucet drips overnight. The toilet is constantly running all night too. The walls are paper-thin. Couldn't even get mad at my neighbor's as they were talking in a normal voice and I still heard everything. I even heard the faucets dripping in the next room over.

Second year in a row to stay here for Wurstfest weekend. I don't expect much from a Motel 6, but it definitely could have some improvements. Staff were friendly enough. I did not like that none of the back/side doors latched and could be entered without hotel card — I think this should be done for customer safety. The entrance when you walk-in is very bare, plain, and uninviting. Spruce up the place for first impressions! I think the hall carpets have been replaced since last year so I was impressed with that. The room was what I needed — nothing fancy but did the job. Pillows were comfortable and I appreciated having a fridge and microwave.

Outside door not latching. Everything needed painting. Pool and hot tub out of order. Furniture without trim strips or strips falling off. No hot water ever. No blanket on bed. I don't expect Motel 6 to be like a Holiday Inn, but I do expect it to have basic needs.

Staff was pleasant and helpful considering what they had to work with. When I asked for as quiet a room location as possible I was told it would be an additional $10.00 for a different building. I passed on that. Clerk put me in a corner room to try and get quietest location. That was fine. Quiet was not a problem. Room itself was pretty grim. Lighting consisted of two small lights on wall above bed (identical lights on opposite wall but only one worked intermittently). One night stand (first motel I have ever seen that way). One washcloth. No shampoo. No blanket. Only 2 clothes hangars. No table. Exterior door to parking lot on west end of building was damaged so that it could not be locked. Can you say lawsuit? Rate was nearly $70.00. I stayed at Super 8 in San Antonio the night before for $10.00 less in a much nicer room with all the amenities, including hot breakfast, so your room rate was not a good value by comparison.

Clean, modern decor. Wood floors and no nasty bed comforters. The bathroom fixtures are old. The shower had great water pressure. Very minimal accommodations. The walls were very thin though. You can hear everything. You'll need ear plugs or white noise for a restful night. For the price and just an over night stay, it was fine.

Oversized bare room. Sheets were old and rough from picked fabric. Mini-fridge was plugged in with a long extension cord. Only 2 electrical outlets and one in under the night stand. Doors slammed all night long and halls were loud and noisy. Large gap under door where the hall light shined in all night. Overall condition was run downed and old. One positive was that the AC was cold.

Overall, better than sleeping in the car. For what I paid, not a very good deal. Towels were clean. Missing paint on the walls. Sheets had small stains. The bed was comfortable. The TV unwatchable, stuffed in the corner and remote barely worked. Lock on door was damaged. AC worked well. The parking lot had poor lighting. No controlled access to the building. Security was not there. People hanging out in halls, sitting on the floors. Had to walk my kids around some shady people. Maybe I need to lower my expectations for $105 plus taxes?

My first impression of the motel was the clean smell when I walked in. That's always a good sign! I was paranoid before I got there because of some of the reviews I read, so I asked to see the room first before I paid. The room was spotless and actually nice looking with the wood floors. I spent 2 nights there no complaints whatsoever. The price was perfect for getting away for the weekend.

It was clean, and for that I am thankful. But the door on the bathroom didn't close at all — there was no latch and the door was rotting. The front door had to be lifted in order to lock. It was a place to sleep for $60, but I expected more from Motel 6, to be honest. I've stayed at Motel 6 in many states and this was just a little disappointing.

So far great. Great location off I-35. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The only bad experience was yesterday morning before work. The girl at the front desk was to busy sitting there for hours, instead of getting the morning coffee out. I actually walked to 7-11 and bought coffee, but that 1 bad apple can not spoil the rest of the go out of there way, helpful, always courteous and smiling staff members here. Thank you guys for making this 3 week work trip more comfortable and relaxing after a grueling day in the triple digit heat.

Keeping in mind that this hotel is a basic 3 star hotel, we had a good stay. Sure I have stayed at nicer places, but I just didn't want to pay $100 a night for a bed, so this was perfect for our needs. Our room was clean and we were pleasantly surprised how very comfortable the bed and pillows were — seriously comfy! You can tell they tried to upgrade the rooms, but some of the work was cheaply done resulting in the paint coming off the walls and sink. Room came with a fridge and microwave which was great. Room does not come with toiletries other then soap nor does it have a hairdryer. We didn't use the pool or hot tub. The only issue we had was our noisy rude neighbors, but you can get that problem at any hotel. Unfortunately, it is difficult to close the room door quietly. I suggest bringing earplugs! Overall I think we had a great stay for the price.

The place was well kept and very clean, friendly staff. I reserved my room online and was only supposed to pay a low amount. Well when I got there it was a different price, the lady up front just asked for a receipt and honored my original price! She did not have to do that but she did, her name was sally she was working a over night shift. Very nice and helpful. The only bad thing is that the walls are very thin so you can hear everything, but hey for a low price and as good as the motel was I cant complain. Everything was very close as well, would definitely stay there again! :)

Overall, I really enjoyed my 3 nights at your location. The staff was friendly and resolved any issues quickly. Some things went wrong, but most of them were out of the responsibility of the front desk staff; but, hey, there are always problems. What is important is how the management and staff resolve those problems. I feel I received excellent value for what I paid to stay at your location and I plan on coming back. I really, really liked the large parking area and the ease of access to it. Keep up the good work.

AC issues. It took several hours for the room to cool off to get to sleep. The phone didn't work. We were put in a room next to the elevator which was very noisy. You get what you pay for.

ROACHES! June 22nd 2016, Beware when the lights go out the Roaches will come out! Yvette the front desk girl, well at first she will say, well the building next store when they started construction it drew the roaches towards the hotel… I said that we bought roach spray and I even took her to the room and showed her all the dead roaches, and she said well we have never had complaints in this particular room… I said I sure hope we killed them all, because I don't want to bring them home with me, and she proceeds to say I didn't say you have roaches in your home, hmmmm? I did let Yvette know that I would be posting a review with pictures, and her response was that will be ok. I did get a 20.00 refund back for a 2 night stay, which the husband did spend 18.00 for the can of spray! Needless to say we won't go back!

Clean rooms, over all clean hotel. It is old. There are roaches mostly at night. Killed two spiders inside the room. Killed a huge roach that almost fell on the bed. Internet was slow. The pool was clean. Some front desk ladies are nice some are ridiculous. They charged a smoking fee without checking the room they charged it to. I did not realized until later, I guess too late because they did not want to return my money. Girl couldn't describe the male smoking, she first said she saw him on the window and another guest saw him too, then she said that the guest alerted her that some one was smoking so she tapped on the window and told the male she was going to charge the fee, she works the overnight shift so this happened in the middle of the night (i guess I was dead to not hear some one tapping the window in the middle of the night talking to my husband about a smoking fee) and Next morning no one told us our room was charged so that we could have done something about it and since she made the charge only she could refund it. It Didn't matter we called and even went in person the week after, So when I finally was able to stay up for her shift about two weeks after the charged she refused because she doesn't make mistakes about rooms numbers and since it has been so long she didn't remember the person smoking so that she could give me a description, so no proof of anything and she had the "right" to charge it cause I agreed to a smoking fee.

Killed a roach in my room! Showed it to the front desk, she called and said I could change room's I declined, she called back and told me I had to leave the premises. The owner told her to throw me out… Never stay here.

As far as first impressions, the driveway is a little hard to find. Look for the short "Motel 6" sign, or the very tall "Bushes Chicken" sign. Both are at the entrance. The facilities are clean, the staff friendly, and the overall feel of the location is safe. There is an indoor pool and a small table seating area. Coffee is available in the same area, across from the lobby. There is a laundry room upstairs with one washer and one dryer, but the dryer doesn't dry well. The day Mgr. Told me it is due to be replaced next week. We are staying here until Tuesday, arrived yesterday, having some RV work done.

This was by far the worst motel 6 I have stayed at. The parking was horrible, the environment was unwelcoming, and front desk staff was RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. THIS MOTEL 6 IS NOT PET FRIENDLY! They told us that they follow their own set of pet rules which is the pet cannot be left in the room unattended. This motel 6 was not following the full pet policy (we called corporate and they told us that all motel 6s follow the same pet policy). Manager never contacted us even when requested. Save your money go to the other hotels around for a better and more accommodating stay.

For the value I received, I could not have chosen a better Motel. The staff was extremely friendly and personable as well as the Front Desk. Even the Owner went out of his way to meet your needs. Thanks Motel 6. Keep the light on, I will be back.

Stopped in here on Friday night the 26th of Feb 2016 From the time you walk in the door you can smell what seems to be a strong scent of bleach wafting thru the air The hall is warm and not temp controlled. The rooms you can control Once you get in your room it is not as strong and soon you adjust to the smell I think this shows that they try their best to be sure everything is clean I agree with David and Albert on this motel The walls look freshly painted the room is clean and the shower and tub area look new There is a fridge and a microwave in the room. You do not get this in some high end 150.00 a night rooms The Tv took a while to figure out as it shows no input. Just mash the channel button a few times and get it on a station. They seem to have a lot of channels as well The internet can be tricky as well if you have a problem just bring up Google after connecting and a page should appear The bed was very comfortable and the room is nice There is some pizza place that will deliver as late as 10:30at night to your room For the price you will not find a better deal Will definitely stay here again if the need should arise.

That room was really clean. Yes, a little old, but they are in the middle of updating the hotel. And since it was after 10 pm, he gave me a nice discount. I appreciate it!

Hands down, straight up the best Motel 6 ever, anywhere. Better than some Super 8's and Best Western's as I could mention. This is economy hospitality at it's finest. No, of course there will be no bellhop to jump at your every bidding, if you want that go to the Marriott and quit complaining.

The buidling could use some upkeep and renovations but overall, our stay was good. The room was extremely clean — and for having no carpet in the rooms, I was surprised that walking around barefoot didn't leave my feet dirty. The floor was spotless. There were stocked vending machines, ice and the front desk staff was helpful. I would consider staying here again in the future.
