Good location right off the highway. The place is a little older so the rooms are a bit dated. Overall it was a pretty average experience and good for the low price.

WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE! I have never been treated as rudely as the hotel staff of this awful place. They called our room every half hour starting at 8am with a wake-up call, that was never asked for, and then were beating on our door and demanding us to vacate the room. The employees had zero regard for customer service. I advise anyone to not stay in this awful establishment. Worst hotel experience of my life!

Absolutely the most TERRIBLE Place to stay! The staff started calling our phone at 8am in the morning. Called more than 3 times, and by 11:05 we’re knocking on our door telling us to get out or they were charging our card! They have the WORST staff, yelled and told us we were terrible people. The room was filthy and smelt so bad! NEVER STAY HERE!

KeEP mOvinG- the room was okay, at first smelled like smoke, all lights worked. Just a chair was being held up with some blocks… (photos showed it not having blocks) I'm pretty positive that this guy was the owner but he was really rude and disrespectful when we asked some questions and would get all fired up. The check-in room smelled horrible and is a very junky room — flowers were litteraly everywhere and some broken fairy lights this owner honestly has no clue what he's doing with all dead plants and cactus. He can take any dead plant and put it in any weird old flower pot. The hot tub outside should be taken away since it looks so disguesting and I doubt that he would fix it. The buckets outside the room were very “enjoyable” to collect water, you just gotta love water vent problems. On my first morning here I was woken up with the maid next door cleaning and kept running into the walls. I was surprised she didn’t decide to knock on our door. The first night we really enjoyed reading all the terrible reviews this motel has.

The worst place I ever stayed at! The whole room smelled like moth balls, the workers harassed us the whole time, and they would not come to the room to fix the A/C. My wife and I had to stay up til 3 in the morning trying to fix the a/c to make it sleep able inside the room.

Great little place to crash at if your tight on money, plenty of plants to look at. Biggest challenge that they have is that some rooms might have some defective appliances.

Old but being remodeled. Definitely got my money's worth & it has a Bavarian look.

They are reasonable the rooms, the breakfast is just doughnuts, coffee and juice but not bad. The only thing is that the air does not come down from 74 and the pillows are flat but other than that it's fine.

They don't like black people. The rooms are half cleaned. The housekeeper stole my bluetooth ear piece When addressed the issue the lady started to loud talk me from being a guilty thief. I would never again stay there or recommend any of my professional people to stay there. Poor cleanliness Poor attitude Smart mouth.

That place should not even exist. Stupid manager was so rude I’ve never been humiliated in that manner. No respect for others, hope that hotel doesn’t last long and runs out of business.

When I turned n the bath tub it had a sewer smell. The room seemed very outdated. The staff was pretty friendly though.

This place is good for the price. They put us away from everybody which was even better. It’s old so musty comes with it. It over all decent.

Extremely rude! Poor communication. Zero customer service. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

I love this place! Both husband and wife are GREAT and friendly … Yes rough around edges but who cares beds /sheets clean a/c kicks ass and for the price can't beat it! Don't have bugs regardless what others say … and if they have a few? Who cares we ARE IN TEXAS for Christ sake zzz we have bugs everywhere in this awesome state!

Rooms are clean. But don't be fooled. It's the same as a motel 6. Nothing special. Ice and coke machine don't work. Very small motel. Breakfast consists of toast and convenience store pastries. Upside there is a 7-11 within 20 steps. Right on the freeway so you hear cops and ambulance sirens all night. I paid less than $200 for 3 nights. You get what you pay for. Rooms have coffee machine but no coffee or filters be sure to bring your own. Beds are comfortable. Staff is helpful. It is convenient to the river but not close. If you are looking just for a place to sleep and not looking for anything else. It's great!

While this place does try so very hard, I just cant give it more than 2 stars. The office was super cool with all of its plants, the purveyors of the establishment were nice, and the decor was awesome old German, however old may be the key word. Unfortunately the air conditioner only worked marginally well and the toilet float inside the tank kept getting stuck forcing me to get up several times in the night to keep the toilet water from running all night. If you are just looking for a place to sleep this is ok, but I just had some bad luck with my room.

These people are crooks. They charged me in three different statements and only have a receipt with an average charge. Turns out there were three in my bank ledger. Their excuse was I had two children. By the way, they are 5 and 8. Who does that? They wake you up without scheduling a wake up call. Its automated. The bed had a big dip in center, Sorry for my luck. They just grinned.

Very friendly accommodating Staff at the Front Desk. Housekeeping crew very interactive and pleasant to deal with. Love the old Alpine decor. Great visit and pricing. Will be back.

It was horrible. I give it 2 thumbs DOWN! There were roaches everywhere. There were rats in the wall. The non-smoking rooms smelled like cigarettes were stills being lit there. There were baby spiders all over the bathroom shower. The comforters were yellow and the pillows looked like they were never washed. The floor had dead roaches. The cabinets had food and old shoes. They had the nerve to offer complimentary breakfast… no thank you. We left there and didn't look back. Please know the hotel is NOTHING like the pictures. You will be disgusted. Make sure you wash everything you have after you leave. The showers were filthy and had roach eggs inside the tub. again, never stay here!

I wish I could leave a review with ZERO stars! WE checked in late last evening after traveling for 9 hours, I should have demanded our money back and left, but we were all very tired after traveling all day with two babies under 2 years old! At first I didn't think our room was too bad. My son and his wife immediately said their room was terrible, and when I went around to look I agree! There king size bed looked as if a 500 pound person had slept on it for 10 years before the motel got it! There was a hole wallowed out on one side that was the first thing we noticed. The only lights were lamps the jacuzzi tub was an extra $10 charge if you tried to use it! There were visible roaches in both room, and pet hair everywhere along the side of the bed was probably an inch or more of pet hair, also the sofa was covered in pet hair! The smell was horrendous, smelled as if someone had sprayed lysol to cover the filth! There was something kind of oily on every surface in the room. The chair in our room looked like someone had soiled their self whole sitting in it! Then when we went to tell them we couldn't/ wouldn't stay another night the owner became angry because we wanted a refund we had prepaid a week, because we are here for work! He was very upset that we wanted our money back, he said we would have a free week next time we stayed, I said no we want our money to rent another place to stay!

I love this motel as its like home away from home.

The person at the front desk started sending wake up calls at 9:30 am. At 10 am, the cleaning lady and the front desk person came into the room. After 10 am, the wake up calls continued every 10 minutes. At 10:30, the front desk person was knocking on the door asking everyone to leave. It feel like harassment. Check out time is 11 am but the hotel personnel was forcing everyone out the door. I was sure why they were in a rush to clean a room that wasn't so tidy in the first place. The floor in the room was never vacuumed. Staying at this hotel was a horrible experience.

Roaches and smelled mildew soon as you open the door. Left as fast as we got there.

It's old but has character. Furniture is old but well crafted. I wouldn't have problem staying here again.

Absolutely Disgusting! Do not waste your money… They don't even have working toilets, management is terrible, housekeepers aren't legit staff, they hire random people daily, I rarely write reviews but trying to help someone out in the future!

Sheets were dirty, hair in shower, ratty old shower curtain, jacuzzi tub didn't work. For the price I paid, I expect way better.

First of all, there were Bugs flying around in the room. Non smoking room smelled like smoke. The carpet was dirty, and there was a strange liquid on most of the surfaces. The hot tub that was advertised was of course covered and clearly had not been operational in quite some time. Key stopped working in the middle of the night and inn keeper let us in the room (after waiting about 10 min outside) and just said that if we wanted a working key, he wouldn't provide it till morning. In the morning we left early and came back and still couldn't use the room. Repair man in the room when we returned during the morning and it smelled like he had taken a dump in the bathroom. Over the next hour, it became clear that it was most likely a vent-pipe issue and we were smelling backdraft from the sewage. After finally having access to the room again, we laid down for a nap, and were walked in on twice. On the way out we passed two giant bags of bagels and a box of doughnuts. Asked the innkeep if we could have a bagel "No, it's all gone — it's after 11" "But I just passed a giant bag" "No" Also, the sign on the desk for check in priced the room at $70, they upcharged to $120. Needless to say, I do not recommend. I've never had such a bad experience.

Id give it less than 1 star! Outside kind of looks cottage style in side, very outdated dim lights, roaches & a serious mildew and mold problem in the rest rooms. We didn't stay till check out. Worst place yet for that price I should of just found something better.

This place is a trash hole there was bedbugs an roachs an dead crickets laying all over the floor mattress covers where completely stained an could tell they have been stained for months then he kicked is out saying ee had done this poor customer service.
