My daughter and I wanted a memorable experience for her landmark birthday. She picked the spot and we made the memories. Fine dining, wonderful bar, swim up bar as well, and pools galore! Thank you for the wonderful spa experience! We shall return ‼️

The best resort three great golf courses access to Lake Travis its own boat ramp and marina and the views from the rooms are awesome have a Spa Kidzone great swimming pools great spa via Lake Travis when you getting your pedicure and your manicure and also the pools we get to view the pools.

Lakeway Resort is such a beautiful place to visit, beautiful clean and friendly staff. The water was so blue reflecting the clear blue Texas sky. The whole area reminds me of Lake Como. I highly recommend Lakeway Resort & Spa. Let’s head for the snowy hills.

The best part of Lakeway was the view, the room was ok, food and drinks were over priced. Not much of a variety for lunch and dinner options. The spa was closed when we went down to check it out.

Lakeway Resort was a fantastic oasis on my Texas girls Trip. The “Pure” rooms were peaceful, clean and there is something special to them. Views of lake were amazing. Pool and Spa lived up to the resort name. If I could change one thing, super small, the light on the fridge was very bright blue that lit the room.

Brought a group of forty for meetings. The property is very nice as it is located off Lake Travis. The room was very nice with a balcony over looking the lake. The staff did an excellent job in making our stay and meetings a success. I look forward to my next visit.

BEAUTIFUL location. We came here for a company meeting, and it was just wonderful. The rooms a large and feature a HUGE balcony. Although our balcony went unused since our room faced the parking lot… This place also isn't too far from 6th street which is also an experience on it own.

Very much enjoyed this hotel and spa. Had a wonderful massage; it was expensive but that is too be expected at a resort. Rooms were quite nice but the bathrooms could use a little updating. The view from the balcony was gorgeous. Amazing at sunset.

I went for a work event and the bartenders were quick and friendly, the service in general was great. We ordered food from their bar menu. The fried pickles were delicious. Didn't experience the pool bar or slide, but everything looked beautiful and super clean. Great view of the lake too.

Beautiful lodge, pool and property. Unfortunately there were billing issues and overall the staff did not seem well trained. Everyone was friendly and attempting to help us but it wasn't until the very end of our stay that everything was sorted out by the manager. We would probably go again and give it another chance. Our experience could have been better though. A+ on cleanliness, comfortablity of beds, views, staff friendliness and activity facilities!

Rooms super old. Bathroom very cramped. View is the only reason I'd give a 3 star. Restuarant food mediocre. Front desk understaffed and rarely picks up the phone. Toilet fixtures loose and broke off. Lakefront yet no entrance to lake from resort property (unlike horseshoe bay). Kids play area is so so. Pool quite dirty too. Water looked foggy. But the Lake view is gorgeous.

The place is nice and I hope to return. With that said, there were unsupervised 8-10 yo children screaming, banging on doors, and running around the halls almost all night. I shouldn't have to go to the desk at midnight because kids are running wild in the hallway. This continued until 1:30Am. The lousy, irresponsible parents should have been asked to leave without a refund. Take your brats home. It's not the staff's responsibility to control your kids. Earlier, same group of kids was also in the adult pool, no one said anything until it was brought to staff's attention. Then they moved to the hot tub, which is supposed to be 16+ there were 20 or more kids jumping in the hot tub. No one was taking responsibility for this. It wasn't peaceful or relaxing at all.

Nice outdoor area, view, and kid’s zone (although it could use a facelift). Pool staff and servers were excellent. Restaurant was over priced with limited selection. Parking was limited. The room was ok. We killed a bug in the restroom and purposefully left it there to see if housekeeping would remove it which they didn’t in three days. The bar staff and front lobby staff seemed shady and your typical millennials which were unhelpful, self-righteous, useless. When I got to the hotel I got my bags out of the car and immediately went to my friend’s room. We came in for bed about 2am and at some point they came in to turn down our bed. When I got ready to sleep I noticed that my sleeping medicine was gone. Now mind you it was in my zipped suitcase and never opened from home until I got in the room. I went to the front desk to see if anyone had turned it in. The night front desk clerk checked the computer notes but not the office or safe and told me no. I slept maybe an hour the next morning and was convinced they had taken my medicine when they came in the room.
The next morning I called the front desk and and told them what happened and the manager said they would find it and call me back. He called in two minutes. He said the bellman had turned it in yesterday and since I wasn’t listed as a guest they couldn’t contact me. He said he did call CVS to get my number but had to wait on hold for 20 minutes and so he hung up. That was the only time he tried.

Spa and resort are very nice. It is a nice getaway from Austin. The rooms feel a little old, but everything is clean and comfortable. Food options aren't great so go elsewhere to dine. Pool and spa are both great options when it's hot outside.

Wonderful family fun stay. We had a lovely clean room. The facilities and pool is great. The kids zone is massive. Parking is included. The view of lake travis is wow. We ate at the restaurant which was OK not amazing. The pool bar and staff are very friendly.

Was very excited to visit this resort for a work trip — pictures and reviews looked wonderful. Upon arrival, it wasn't noted at the hotel that we purchased a double-bed room through the booking agent, so we were given a roll-away bed for the first night and promised to be moved to a different room the next day. Prabha, who helped us, was absolutely amazing. Cannot thank her enough for her hospitality. We had a number of issues in our second room but they were fixed… although maintenance was in our room for about an hour. Bottom line — — this hotel is full of very friendly staff, however, I'm not sure if the high caliber staff is enough to bring me back on another visit.

Great staff, incredible location, gorgeous grounds! Balcony lake view rooms have an insane view of the lake. Rooms are large and spacious, bathrooms are on the larger side as well. Here for a conference and would love to come back for a personal Vacation.

The bathroom is too small, and I just don't get why Hotels put bath tub/showers in, who takes a bath in a hotel?, why not just put a nice roomy shower?, pool area GREAT!, great views, courteous staff, especially Elvis,
Only thumbs down is the so called Steak House, very dark and dingy entrance into and up the stairs, needs updating, like 10 yrs ago.

My family and I visited this past weekend and I'll start off by saying the service we received was absolutely wonderful. Every staff member we encountered was nice, professional, and accommodating. Overall, the hotel is very clean, the pool area was fun for both adults and kids, and food was good. We will definitely return.

We hosted a 3 day wedding reception at Lakeway a few weeks back. The property is nice, pool area amazing and access to the Lake excellent. We thank Bell Captain Elvis for his assistance with all out guests — a true Jamacian gentleman. Donna at the Front Desk was awesome the entire stay! Brendan was quick with our spirit of choice whether at the restaurant or lobby bar. Jody at the Marina was extremely helpful — great equip. — all water toys. We will be back soon! Donna and Frank Higgins.

The resort was beautiful and the staff was kind and friendly. I ate at their restaurant and found the food to be pretty good there. It was just a but too cold inside.

The room was fine. The view was excellent. A Michelob ultra was over 6 bucks. We had breakfast in the room. 41 bucks before tip. We expected a really nice breakfast and room service. But instead when the knock on the door came instead of a cart being rolled in we got handed a paper bag that had little black disposable containers in it like you would get from Whataburger or on a flight. We got one omelet that was mediocre at best. A couple of biscuits with gravy and 4 pieces …of bacon. No drinks. Silverware was disposable. 41 bucks before tip. It was OK for a drive thru window but not what one would expect from a place of this caliber or for that price. We were asked for a credit card when we checked in. They put a 70 dollar charge on it instantly to cover incidentals. The clerk said that it is refunded if you don't buy anything. We later found out that there is a 30 dollar fee charged because they have a pool and a patio. It is not refundable. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The consistency was just not there. The pricing was what you expect from a resort but then you notice little things that make it feel like you are in a hotel that needs updating and refreshing. The bathroom door rubbed the floor and it took effort to get it to close all the way. We will most likely stay here again. We are not bashing the place just telling it like it is.

LOVED this place! They've got everything. Restaurants, bars, AMAZING swimming pool, kid zone with childcare, views. My only complaint is that we didn't get to stay longer.

This is my 3rd trip to Lakeway and I must say that I enjoy it more each time. The amenities are GREAT, I can sit on the patio over looking the lake all day… the rooms are quite comfortable and the dining was 2nd to none. The Staff is and has always been very courteous, Elvis the bell hop meets n greets you each and every time with a cool fist bump… he pays attention to the smallest details… like getting us ice when we first checked in… its small things like that… that make you want to come back… KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK Elvis and the entire LAKEWAY. Staff… 3/30/18…

Not only did we love the resort itself, the staff was absolutely amazing. From the moment we drove up we were catered to and treated very special. From the greeter at the door to management, they all went out of their way to mame sure our stay was perfect. We can't wait to plan our next trip to Lakeway Resort.

I went for 3 days to a working board quiet place very clean view of the beautiful room 100% recommended.

My wife when here to get a massage and the facilities are really really nice. They have an outdoor kid play area where the pool is that her and I hung out at while waiting for my wife to. You are supposed to be a member or guest at the hotel to use their services but they were really nice and let us since my wife is getting massage.

Lovely place, wonderfully quiet, & peaceful! Very relaxing, and fantastic reception! Loved the PRIVATE (lakeview) balconies, with solid walls, not sitting right next to total strangers when you want to enjoy your balcony, very peaceful. Many places neglect to make their balconies nice and private, so you're just on display in front of everyone, great job there! Awesome pool & hot tub area, overlooking the lake, beautiful.

Beautiful views and friendly staff. However, extremely disappointing to pay so much for a room only to be woken up at 6am hearing the people in the room next door taking at what seems to be a conversation level (not yelling at all). And shortly after being woken up again by the maintenance staff using a blower outside at 730am. I believe the city of Lakeway has an ordinance about operating loud equipment outside before 8am. If the walls of this building are thin enough that a blower three stories below and a couple having a pleasant conversation can be heard then the rooms should be half the cost.

We really enjoyed our self. The staff is amazing! Only issue… we had the "executive suit" but the room was outdated with mix match decor. The beds and pillows are so comfortable though! Honestly, it was a great night getaway for the hunni and I.

Our stay at Lakeway Resort was absolutely magnificent! We stayed for a Valentine's Day getaway of relaxation and pampering. We indulged in a couples massage at the spa. Our massage was perfect! The massage room overlooks the lake which made for a truly enjoyable experience. We had dinner at the TR restaurant located on the grounds. Our food was delectable! I ordered the steak and lobster which was very flavorful and super tender. My hubby ordered the grilled pork chop and had the same results. The staff at Lakeway was absolutely awesome! They made us feel welcome and gave us 5 star service throughout our entire stay. My hubby and I are planning to return during the summer months in order to experience the water activities. Thank you Lakeway for a fabulous and Valentine's day with my honey!

Great place! Rooms are amazing closer to 5 star hotel than 4. Pool is epic! Food is good! Location is quiet and relaxing, you will see deer’s hanging out! View is great as well!

Took hubby here for a birthday getaway. The staff asked what the occasion was and when we arrived they left a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for us, complimentary! All staff was friendly and helpful. The pool-side bar was wonderful and the room was comfortable and spotless. Great water views from the room and pool area. Close to Austin and a lovely vacation spot. All for reasonable prices. Thanks Lakeway!

It is very nice they have good rooms when I went we got a view of the lake. They have a kid zone with bouncy houses and golf kid movies table tennis and basketball. They also have hot tubs and beautiful pools.

If I could give zero stars I would. We stayed here for our wedding night and was supposed to receive a romance package with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. My husband called in advance and confirmed this and asked if they would lay out rose petals for ua. When we got to the room there was nothing there. We had to call and ask the front desk what happened they told us there was no note and they didn't know. Spoke to a manager this morning and he couldn't have cared less. Told us we should've let them know we were coming late. The king size balcony room wasn't even worth the base price to begin with. Super disappointed this is where we ended up on our wedding night.

Let me begin by saying that my stay at Lakeway was wonderful. The resort is as equally as stunning as it's views. My overall experience was great until I looked at my bank account and saw that I had four charges equaling to over $900.00 when my statement and additional services totaled only to $304.54. I completely understand that there may an initial hold amount charged to my account, I just cannot for the life of me remember being informed of it, nor, can I seem to understand why it is more than double the amount of my actual stay. Also, the young lady at the front desk told me that the amount shown on my statement would replace the hold amount, NOT be charged in addition to the hold amount. My other concern is that I have left the accounting department three messages over a span of 24 hours and have not heard back from them. Granted, I did call and leave my first message on Sunday for the accounting department (which I was initially told was there on Sunday), but have now just been informed they do not actually work on Sunday. I honestly just need assistance and clarification. Every time I call the front desk, I get told that they cannot do anything to assist me and that I will need to speak to the accounting department who has yet to return my calls. I absolutely hate complaining, and it kills me to write a bad review for a resort that was essentially wonderful and for a mistake that is most likely a rare occurrence.

The resort was paradise in Texas Hill country. The staff were very helpful but one person stood out amongst the rest — — Elvis the bellman. He was so warm and welcoming and always went above and beyond for the guests. He was a highlight of our stay. The resort is beautiful and it's a must see!

The place is beautiful. The scenic view is awesome. Stayed 3 days and 2 nights. The atmosphere is peaceful. Was there for a birthday stayaway. The Spa was great. We had a message. Its a little pricey but, you will enjoy it.

The location is beautiful. A lake view room was spot on and extremely relaxing. The rooms were nice though they seem to have paper thin walls. There was a family two rooms down and we could hear their child screaming at 6 in the morning. The service was fantastic, though I don't recommend going to the on-site restaurant as the service there was awful and the food was subpar (especially for what they charge). The heated pools and the jacuzzi as well as the fire pit really made this place a great vacation.

Amenities are fantastic! Great resort for families traveling with small children. Our 4 and 2 yr old loved the pool, waterslide and kidzone. No age restrictions except for the kids camp/babysitting service (age 5 or up). Location is a little off the beaten path, but still only a 10-15 drive to local and national food chains, retailers, grocery, etc. The resort itself has appealing grounds. Lobby and common areas were clean and well-maintained. Rooms could use a little TLC (stained and dirty carpets, broken refrigerator door handle) but otherwise clean and updated. A small microwave might be a nice touch. Great service, no complaints.

Great resort. Pool area is one of the best I have been to. The Lakeview balconies offer great views. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean and good room. Would definitely stay again. The only downside is it is a long drive back in neighborhoods from shopping, restaurants and freeway.

Everyone was nice. But the day we were checking out there was a charge for resort fees $28 a day. I was not informed of this fee at booking, or checking in.

Very disappointed in this place. Let me first start off by saying this is definitely not a resort maybe it was back in 1963 when it was built but this is a nice hotel not at Resort. Be prepared to be price gouged on EVERYTHING. Want a grapefruit? $10.00. How about a $11.99 retail bottle of Melissa sparkling wine? It's $60.00 HERE! Place has been kept up well but is very dated, the AC does not work very well, and the toilet paper here is equivalent to sandpaper. Our first night here we went for dinner at the "resort" and it was extremely disappointing. Wife and I both ordered filet mignon and was probably one of the worst we've had. The positive things about this place are the staff has been very friendly, amazing spot on the lake, the pool area is very nice, and our two year old son loved the kids Zone (although it had several leaks in the ceiling and they had to close off several areas) Bottom line if you want a true Resort experience and are going to be paying Resort prices, I would not recommend this place.

Nice hotel. Pools and view are great. Negative is resort fee and boat parking fee. Plus our room had issues that mgmt corrected quickly.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a spot on Lake Travis with a swim up bar for the adults and a separate pool for the kids. Splurge and get a room with a balcony. You can rent a boat or waverunner if that is your thing. View of Lake Travis is awesome. Also — rooms are clean and hotel is well maintained. Food at the restaurant was way above expectations too! Really no negatives except the swim up bar tab! It adds up!

Great Service! Perfect for a weekend get away. Stayed at King with Balcony Lake view Room. Very spacious room, I recommended breakfast package. The breakfast is delicious. 3 pools. Very clean. Kid friendly. -Star.

The hotel is beautiful and the views are stunning. The pools (there are several to choose from) are also beautiful and overlook the lake. There's also a nice marina within walking distance. I will definitely be coming back.

We stayed for the 4th of July. The place is beautiful and the staff is quite friendly. The only issue we had was with the pick-up service at the Marina. It's a far walk so you call the hotel and they send a golf cart to pick you up. I'm sure they were busy, but we called twice and our cart never came. However, everything else was awesome otherwise!

I went here for a wedding reception. The venue was incredibly clean and the view was amazing. The room was surrounded in glass windows that overlooked the lake and patio seating outside to enjoy the weather. The food provided was cooked very well and they catered to the traditional foods of the family. Overall a great experience.

This hotel should really drop the "spa" part of its name. The spa is not only small and its services limited, I was called an hour before my service and told they had no running water. I then asked to cancel, and was told I wouldn't be able to get a full refund. Only after emphatically insisting that I would not be paying them anything due to their own facility being broken was I put on hold and finally told that a supervisor had "approved" me to cancel for a full refund. The room was good with comfortable beds, gym was well stocked, but there were other parts of the hotel under construction. Only book this place if you want excellent views of the lake. Everything else (spa, fine dining, etc. ) can be found at much nicer places with comparable pricing and much better customer service. Such a shame.

Nicely updated resort with great views of Lake Travis. Golf and tennis is easily accessible nearby. The food at the restaurant is good, especially the breakfast buffet. There are three large pools to relax at. Also a spa and a good bar with a patio overlooking the lake.

The place is nice. But room service is limited, plus it doesn't feel like real room service since they bring it on plastic containers. Also, they make you tip at the bar 21 % whether the bartender is good or not. Good luck!

To summarize my personal experience with this place. It's HORRIBLE and my advise is to stay away and find another place to enjoy your time off. we got tricked by some of the reviews and decided to spend our (memorial weekend) at this location and were excited to get there … let me explain why this place should be shutdown in my opinion. 1. The place smelled so bad beyond reason. we asked about the smell, they said that they put some kind of a manure all over the property… why would anybody do that on a busy weekend like this! beyond me. 2. Our room had bugs. (on the wall and ceiling). we told the front desk and they apologized and said that the manager will call us … NOBODY CALLED. 3. We couldn't sleep because of the noise. They put us on the forth floor and we found out (the hardway) that if they put you on any floor that is close to the hallway then forgot about sleeping (days and nights). we called the front desk and they offered to downgrade us to a room with no view or one with no balcony, they apologized and told us that the manager will call us. Nobody called. 4. We ate at their restaurant and that was the worst thing we've done. we didn't read the reviews about their restaurant (we should have) and decided to eat there. We got sick for almost two days (vomiting and stomach issues).

Staff was very helpful, acomidating and the pool area was great! Heated pools for the kids with a nice water slide as well as a bar side pool for the adults, regular temp pool and an awesome jacuzzi with powerful jets that overlooks Travis Lake. Great family vacation spot for a close getaway!

Went today for a staycation to celebrate our one year anniversary. When we checked in there were approximately 100 college kids in the lobby. Apparently an organization from UT had scheduled a "formal" on a Sunday night. When we went to the pool, it was like Spring break at the beach. Literally 30 people in the hot tub drinking and loud, with more college kids all over the pool. This was right after check in, so I anticipated more people checking in. We went the lobby and asked to checkout after being there 30 min. The front desk team indicated that the person in charge was told to "settle down" the college kids, but we expressed our desire to leave. They allowed us to leave, but needless to say we were very disappointed about the whole situation. It would've been nice if they offered us something (meal, spa service) or rescheduled us with an upgrade of some sort. It was like they knew we we not satisfied, and they didn't know what to so so they just put their hands up in the air and let us leave. One other thing that was frustrating was we asked for a pack and play crib for our daughter, and instead an extra bed was sent to our room. Very disappointed!

Beautiful property that maintains a polished, contemporary decor that accentuates an open-concept lobby itself to being clutter-free which continues to perpetuate one of the primary themes throughout the multi-acre resort: peacefulness. Awesome staff members who have a knack for attention to detail, on top of understanding their that each resort guest has unique expectations and requests. The staff, in my experience, seem to gravitate, as well as thrive off of, establishing and developing those fundamental interpersonal relationships with their patrons. Also, it can be noted how, at Lakeway Resort & Spa, the importance of uniformity and consistency, as if an ancient art form. Emphasis is placed on channeling a stress-free environment in combination with a well-proportioned amount of sensory stimulation that Lakeway Resort & Spa seamlessly melds into an unequivocal, exhilarating state of relaxation.

Promised heated pools but they were ice cold. Service was not good. Took 2 days to get towels in room. Was there 3 days and had our key deactivated each day. One server at pool bar that took 45 minutes to bring a drink, then it was wrong. Room was not ready for check in on time. When you pay for a Resort and spa which adds over twenty dollars a day resort fee you should be pampered. It was far below expectations. Very dissappointed.

A great resort tucked away in a nice little suburb of Austin. The view of Lake Travis is amazing. We're enjoying our stay very much.

An amazing setting with gorgeous views from my room! At the Lakeway Resort for a conference and it's an amazing setting. Service had been great and the room comfortable with all the amenities I'd expect to find, robes, mini fridge, etc. The restaurant is a bit far from the rooms, but good service and the patio is lovely to sit out on.

We we given a gift certificated for a 2 night getaway. We arrived about 3 got our room, with a very nice view of the lake but the balcony was dirty had cigarette butts on the floor. The room was a nice size and but a not to clean. Our room seemed warm. We turned down the air. After awhile we decided to go to the main dinning room for dinner and it was closed. We were told that dinner was being severed at the bar. We decided to go out for dinner. When we arrived back to our room it was still very warm. I called the front desk and a maintenance was sent up to fixed it. Late on I decided to make myself some hot tea. I open the coffee pot and there was an old dry, moldy coffee filter in the pot. GROSS! Obviously the room was not cleaned properly. I had to pay a resort fee and put a deposit on the room. Really what did you think we would steal? A dirty moldy coffee pot? I was very disappointed with my stay.

I went to the resort on a motorcycle ride around the neighborhood. I grew up going to the Marina and heard of all the upgrades to the facilities. The place has really grown and in a good way. I spoke with the owner of Texas Sailing and made plans to come back and sail. There's so much around there that makes the resort a great destination for a couple days at the lake.

For the prices being charged the quality was IMO low. $129 a night + $28 Resort "Fee" for Coffee (I'm guessing the 2 cup pot in the room? ) and newspaper that was never at my font door in the mornings. The staff was excellent and always helpful. The views were terrific! The food however at the Restaurant was beyond disappointing! Too bad really. For the location and views they have, hitting these little things out of the park could have transformed the experience. I was there for 4 nights on business.

Beautiful and everything was perfect. Our room had a great view of the lake and was clean and looked very nice.

We stayed there for a weekend getaway. First off, the first night we arrived the balcony smelled like someone took a dump. The next morning the smell went away but the balcony was filthy. Bottle caps, ants crawling all over, and table and chairs appeared to be never being touch/cleaned for months. For the price Lakeway charged per night I would expect more complimentary amenities than pool and gym. All activities on Lake Travis are additional cost. And the trail is outside of resort next to the golf course, if you even call that a trail at all! That was probably why the whirl pool was so crowded because there was nothing else to do in this so-called resort. After we checked out, Lakeway charged my credit card for the two nights I already paid for when I booked the room on Priceline. I definitely expected more from a 4 diamond hotel. Just horrible. Update 08/08/2015: Lakeway Resort still overcharged me after they processed the refund. I spoke with Hannah who couldn't do simple math so she transferred me to the front office manager. The manager was also rude and blamed Priceline showed the incorrect resort fee so I should take it up to Priceline. After talking some sense into the manager's head, she agreed to refund the rest of the overcharged amount. No wonder there was a very long line during checkout because everyone was overcharged.

We were very disappointed in our stay at the Lakeway "Resort" and Spa this past weekend. The individuals hired at this hotel are seriously lacking in Customer Service. When we arrived at the hotel after a long drive in with kids excited for our vacation, we were greeted by the supposedly Front Desk Manager not with a "Welcome to Lakeway Report and Spa", but with a finger held up in our face while she typed away. She didn't even look up. We were given excuses and vague answers to our questions, she clearly did not have the time for us. Many guests over the course of our stay commented how rude they were treated by this individual. When we were finally allowed to go to our room, it was very dirty, carpets stained, towels were torn and stained, robes that looked like they had been worn and not changed out, mold in bathroom, and stained furniture. The patio which we paid more for, we covered in cobwebs and bugs and smelled horrible. It appeared to not have been cleaned in some time. The pool area was dirty and disheveled, the bar while a nice feature was out of "special" cocktails and drinks. The pictures on the website are very nice but don't be fooled, this place needs some serious upkeep. When we turned done the sheets a nice huge bug was waiting for us. Needless to say, a very sleepless night. This hotel was not the peaceful resort we had hoped to spend out time at. If you are hoping for a resort with many activities and features other then a pool, this is not it.

The only reason why I will stay here is because I have a gift certificate for a free stay. We paid to stay here and we left after the first night cause it was horrible and they gave us a certificate. I will NEVER pay to stay here. The people that work here are rude. To set a reservation with this gift certificate took 2hrs! And then the manager, supposedly, who is a male was extremely rude, I don't think he could have been a manger but if so its ridiculous. I will make sure I tell my friends to stay clear of this place.

This place is a little piece of heaven! The staff was awesome. The amenities were fantastic. I recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway. I will definitely be returning.

I was skeptical with some of the reviews I read before we arrived, but overall we enjoyed our 3 night stay. We were greeted and helped with luggage right away. The room was nice, the view of the lake was breathtaking. The bed needs to be replaced not very comfortable at all and the carpet could use a cleaning. The pools were great and we enjoyed our time there every day. The swim up bar is very convient but just remember to put a tip or you are charged 21% automatically on every thing. Plus their taxes for the use of charging to your room. Plus the 28.00 a day fee they charge for the resort. Our first night we went to the restaurant on sight" mastersons steak house" beautiful view if sitting outside, but horrible service. Gave us hot water left us without checking on us for long periods. Finally got the brisket and thought our salad would be shortly behind but no. We finished the brisket and were sitting waiting for him to return when another waiter came out and I had to get his attention and help to get our salad. Over priced and horrible service. We both were sick that night as well from the food. They do have an on sight spa my girlfriend got a 50 min Swedish massage by "Ally" she did an amazing job and was worth every penny! Many restaurants and things to do around there as well. Overall we enjoyed the stay but just felt it was a little to much money for it.

Had a Great Anniversary on the Lake at Lakeway Resort My wife and I had a great time on the lake at Lakeway. We enjoyed many of the amenities including the lakeview infinity pool and the stocked weightroom. We enjoyed being so close to everything we needed (e. G. Food, shopping, juicleand :) ) yet far enough away from the big city for a getaway vacation. The customer service was a highlight for our trip. There were some mistakes made with our room and we also had to checkout early, but the staff was helpful, friendly and helped us make sure we got everything done that we needed to. Melissa, Evan, Patricia were very helpful and friendly. I appreciated them and enjoyed my stay there.

Very misleading everyone on the staff had a different answer. We went here as a preVacation vacation and have had wayyyyyyy better service at a 100$ a night hotel. Save your money the food at the pool is horrible! The food in the restaurant is horrible! Dirty sheets construction going on in the room next to us till 9 at night. Never again worst hotel experience of my life. I could go on but I'm not a negative person. It took me a month to write this review.

My husband and I went here to get away for a few days after our Austin destination wedding. Our experience was just fabulous! The staff took excellent care of us and treated us very well. Upon learning that we were just wed, they slipped complimentary champagne and strawberries into our room! Room service was incredibly quick and delicious. And our room was perfect! We had booked a king room with a futon and balcony. The reservation was exactly what we had booked (you would be surprised how often I've been stuck with something that wasn't what I reserved). The room was worth every penny. It was far larger than I had expected and the balcony was fabulous! We definitely could have hosted an after-party with our wedding party if we had wanted and there would have been plenty of space! The pools were fun, we spent hours playing in them. The restaurant had perfect service and the food was delicious. Not a single complaint, only rave reviews! We cannot wait to get back to celebrate our anniversary.

The restaurants is poor service. It's not a family friendly place and really under staffed. It took 15 mins just to have menus and another 20 mins for drinks. When I came in for lunch it was empty which makes all sense now. Reading the previous negative reviews are accurate. Should have read the reviews first. To be fair, we had a large group of less than 20 people of adults and kids. Food was good and the staff was friendly. I think the restaurant was poorly executed in preparedness and service. They cannot handle a large group of people which was unfortunate since we are here for a family vacation.

AWFUL! We just finished a three night stay and our room was not cleaned once! We called multiple times daily and specifically requested to have our room serviced, but it still didn't happen. Both times we ordered room service were disastrous — — the steak we ordered medium was rare (like cold red center rare) and the raw vegetables were visibly bad and beginning to rot. The beautiful water slide you see in the pictures was only turned on after we called the front desk and requested it (despite the fact that there were several families with children interested in using it, ) the hot tub was broken and there was maintenance being done on the main pool rendering it unusable. Clearly the issue lies with management and above — the resort was clearly understaffed and poorly managed, there were many times when we saw members of the staff physically running from place to place presumably because they were doing work that was beyond their call of duty. All of this despite paying almost $300 / night! Spend some of this hiring (and retaining, more than one person told us it was their first day or week) more staff and paying them enough to do the jobs they are doing! The single rose was the pool and kids zone staff who were absolutely incredible.

We have been coming to the Lakeway Resort at least once a year for the last 5 years and I must say that this hotel has been on a steady decline. We continued coming here because of the view but I can clearly say this past time might be our last. We actually looked at this resort to get married in, and we are glad we decided not to. Our nightmare visit started from check in and lasted all the way until we checked out after the weekend ended. We arrived to their resort some time around 1 am and we were greeted by their late night manager. He was friendly and wanted to be helpful but was clearly overwhelmed with the influx of guests at a late hour. After we waited about 20min to check in, he unsuccessfully tried on three different occasions to get our keys to work, to where we finally just saw a crew member of the hotel and asked him to use his key to let us in the door. At that point, it was almost 2am and we had made several trips back to the Front Desk while camping out in the hallway with our luggage. When we finally got into the hotel room, there were dead bugs in the room, one of them on the bed and one of the floor, cracks in the molding, stains in the carpet, and a very old and outdated bathroom. We ignored all of this because it was late and we were extremely tired. The next morning, we noticed both of the bath robes had brown stains on them and 2 of their 4 body towels were torn (one of them tore straight down the center while drying off).

Very nice located. Many possibilities nearby: Golf, water sports, Austin. Super Spa area. It's a pity that it fails then, that the key card every day must be reprogrammed after an elaborate ritual of identification. That is annoying and pointless takes vacation time. It is also not the hit. Windows and glasses are obviously rarely cleaned and the cobwebs were no Halloweendeko. Staff was very nice and price — performance is also true. The corresponding Steakhouse, which is expensive but extremely delicious steaks prepared is absolutely recommended.

A friend's daughter was married here last night. It was my first visit. The lake (even at low levels) provided a gorgeous backdrop and photo op as the sun set. The banquet area and dance floor were spacious, easy for viewing the festivities from all parts of the room. The only down part was having to walk quite a distance to the far parking lot in my heels when it was over. One of those golf cart shuttles I saw on the grounds would have been great.

Keep looking! After spending almost $300 a night on Saturday March 29, 2014, I would have to admit I was highly disappointed in the level of service at the Lakeway Resort and Spa. To start off check-in was not until 4pm, which I had no idea about since it does not state that when you are making the reservation. After going back and forth with the manager they finally got us a room at 1:30pm. Secondly, after settling down in our room, the shower drain was clogged, and the IPod dock did not work. When I called down to the lobby I was told they would send an engineer to my room to fix the issues. I declined and asked them to give us a different room. The second room also had an IPod dock that did not work and this time I did ask for someone to come up to take a look and see if it was a user error. Turns out the engineer had no idea why it was not working. After spending 30 minutes in the room he gave up trying and just apologized. At that point I just remembered I had left a pair of pants in my first room and asked to see if they could have housekeeping bring it to me. I was told that the room was already given to another guest. I called that room and the lady actually told me she did find my pants in the restroom. So does that mean that housekeeping did not even clean the room? She was nice enough to give me my pants back.

A great resort if you want a quick weekend getaway. Their pools are beautiful and a quick hop over to some hill country vineyards. Usually resort food is not worth it, but the breakfast buffet and the complimentary happy hour are definitely great perks.

Lakeway Resort and Spa is a perfect way to enjoy a romantic getaway. With a golf course, spa and a pool, there is ample opportunities for endless fun. Surprise a loved one with a free night or week-end away from the kids, work or a busy life. TIP: Romance packages available including champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, breakfast in bed and private yacht.

Nestled along the shores of Lake Travis they are close the marina, sailing and golf. They have three outdoor swimming pools that are heated. The infinity pool with swim up pool bar is a favorite for adults and the kids will love the water slide and pool on their end. There is also a kid's zone where parents can have a night out while kids play, read, watch movies etc. Masterson's restaurant is next door serving up steaks and entrees for breakfast (buffet), lunch and dinner. The San Saba Spa is also located here where you can get hair services, massages, facials and bod scrubs. This is a must visit location. The rooms have great views of Lake Travis and they have a happy hour daily at 5.

Ahhh well rich to enjoy the weekend.
