This place is so awesome really nice and sweet people… Kirsten or Kristen however you pronounce her name sorry : (anyways she is so nice and helped us out so much has very good customer service and doesn’t seem bother any questions I asked her… I would recommend this hotel to anyone very spacious.

This is a very nice place! Located in a great location close to the best dive locations in Austin. The staff is very friendly and ultra helpful! When we come back, we will stay here!

Awesome views. It’s like where hill country meets lake life. There is really no place to eat out there or buy groceries. Take munchies with you so you don’t have to pay hotel mini mart prices. Great outdoor area. Great price!

Beautiful beautiful place to stay my family and I really enjoyed ourselves.

This hotel is located in a quiet part of Austin and the drive from here to downtown is a really fun one. The room was very large but extremely cozy. The kitchen came in handy as well. Will absolutely be back and I recommend this to anyone spending any extended time in Austin.

Not much to say apart from the fact that this is an excellent hotel all around. I tour manage for a professionally touring band and this is by far one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in. Phenomenal value for your money. Our late-night check-in went smoothly thanks to Scott at the front desk. The entire staff was extremely hospitable and friendly. The rooms themselves were spacious and offered plenty of privacy with two separate bedrooms each with their own bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. Access to the gym is 24-hours and the facilities were always kept clean. The indoor pool area was extremely well-kept, affording us the opportunity to swim some lengths even in the middle of winter and help us keep up with our cardio after hours in the van. Breakfast was fresh and offered a variety of healthy items before we got back on the road. I came here rolling through Texas for a pair of days and really adored this quaint place.
It was a little bit out of the way from Austin (probably my only complaint) but being sequestered from the hub-bub of the city made for a more tranquil stay. If you don’t mind driving for about 20 minutes from the city, this place is for you. But, be warned, ride shares would probably prove to be too pricey if you’re hitting downtown every night. The stay itself was incredible. Truly incredible. Everything, from the kitchen to the pool to the fitness area, was immaculate. The rooms are large and decorated very hip that makes them feel welcoming. The amenities are are very much on point and pretty much everything I encountered in the room felt new and top of the line. The best aspect by far was the staff. Helpful and attentive, they are always ready and willing to aid you with anything. In just two days, the staff was kind enough to learn my name and grant me anything I requested.

This hotel was especially amazing. Will try and get out here every time I’m in Austin for a show. Little bit outside the city which is perfect for us to get a head start on our drive. Everybody was really kind and the checkin was nice. The kitchen was the best part. Thanks y’all!

Scott checked us in late and he is a wonderful host, making requests for our comforts happen with ease and a smile. We rolled in late, as usual and this can sometimes be stressful, but not here. They had a wonderful patio area that we could easily access and a great place to hang out and watch American Idol in the lobby. Once again, breakfast is the most important meal of the day and this hotel delivers. We were able to get to the popular hang outs in ATX without trouble. Let’s just toss this gem up there, this is a residence inn and there are separate room options with multiple rooms and kitchen. I just want to say, Thanks again, we will be back.

Really great place to stay. The manager Chris got us checked in quickly and got us everything we needed. The suite set up was cool with a kitchen area and big fridge. Comfortable beds too. Wish we didn't have to leave so early and miss out on the free breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Experience. To start we were parking an oversized vehicle and upon check in they were understand and helpful. We had the keys in minutes and the room was immaculate. Huge living room, full kitchen and table and a beautiful bedroom and bath. The overall aesthetic was clean and professional, a perfect place to check in early and out late. I've been on the road for a few months straight now and this hotel was the most comforting of the past 100+ nights away from home. The gym was wonderful and the pool and hot tub were perfect. The place must have been entirely renovated because everything was beautiful. Great bed, great sheets and amazing towels. All around an amazing hotel, a new staple of Austin!

Our client, touring musician Milly Blaine recently stayed here while touring through and performing in Austin and was very pleased with the property especially the clean and quiet room! They were also very thankful the staff was so friendly since they couldn't check in until very late, and that there was a free breakfast in the morning to help get back on the road the next day. Breakfast in the morning and free wine and drinks + snacks in the afternoon. The location is amazing! Easy to get to places, but the main thing is the scenery! The hotel room is awesome. Full kitchen with fridge, 2 burner stove, dishwasher, and more. The living room has a huge sectional couch, plus a great desk. The bed is always comfy and the TV rotates so you can watch from either room. The bathroom mirror is my favorite! Lights up, super bright, and big. Always clean towels and good water pressure. I will keep coming back here again and again!

Such a great stay. Staff was helpful and kind, the whole facility felt brand new. We slept great and we were close enough to downtown Austin but far enough out to stretch out. Really excellent stay.

On-site basketball court, spacious accommodations, and a fully useable kitchen in each room. What more could you ask for? Super friendly/ helpful staff, too. The woman at the front desk was very sweet, even though we checked in so late. Will definitely be back to this Residence next time I’m in Austin!

The staff at this wonderful location are a master class in superb hospitality! The property is modern and extremely comfortable, must be basically brand new! A great value for the money. There’s plenty of parking and the breakfast was exquisite! I can’t recommend highly enough!

Love the Residence Inn properties for longer stays, but have to say I'm thankful this was just an overnight. The property itself it clean and the staff are all very friendly, so above all let me stress this isn't a failing on staff or management. This is a failure on ownership, whoever designed these rooms had never actually thought through the act of sleeping in one. The king bed is situated directly between the large and very brightly lit vanity and the huge window outlook. The window has a shade so the light from that source is something that can be greatly mitigated, however the ability for a couple to stay in bed while one wakes up early or has to go to the bathroom in the night insures that everyone has to wake up to bright lights. The lights were an annoyance in the morning, so again something that could be lived with, the architectural failure here is the decision to place the HVAC unit in a closet literally at the foot of the bed. I had two choices; be awake and cool all night, or sleep in peace and quiet but keep waking up drenched in sweat with the A/C turned off. I eventually had to put in my noise cancelling headphones I use on the airplane just to get some sleep, that is ridiculous and inexcusable. I had hoped it was just my poor luck in a corner room but a colleague was on the same floor and had the same complaint about lack of sleep from the night before.

This is one of my favorite properties ever to bring my artists when on tour. Plenty of parking for oversized vehicles in a well-lit lot. Was great to see Richard at the front desk again; he’s very helpful and a great conversationalist. This property has some pretty cool stuff you don’t see everywhere. Full kitchenettes so you can cook a favorite meal which was great for us as we had been subsiting on bar food. I like the fact that they have live music in the lobby. Great indoor pool and fire pit. Property also is in pristine shape and one would think is brand new. Unbeatable continental breakfast which feature premium versions of all of the favorites including real scrambled eggs. Love everything about this spot and stayed all the way till the generous noon check out (we should have left much earlier. Thanks team!

This place is as clean as a doctors office. Everything in the hotel felt brand new and modern. The king size bed was extremely comfortable, and the couch and TV setup was perfect for lounging and relaxing. I set up the pull out couch for my niece and I layed on it for a bit, it was surprisingly very comfortable. Nice kitchen setup as well. The hotel seemed to be in a really nice neighborhood, I was not worried whatsoever about my vehicle getting broken into or anything like that. Hotel staff also extremely friendly and helpful. A+

I recently stayed two nights at the Residence Inn Lake Austin/River Place and had a great time! They had a friendly and accomodating staff that helped us score extra towels and toiletries I had forgotten. I spent quite a bit of time in the indoor pool and hot tub. It wasn’t too crowded and the whirlpool was just the right temperature. I’m also really glad I got a chance to take advantage of the there breakfast. Hot waffles, eggs and sausage with a cup of orange juice was a great way to start the day. Obviously another advantage of the Residence Inn is having access to a full sized fridge, microphone and a small stove top as well as simple kitchen supplies. If you’re looking for a place where you can eat in, go to the gym and take a nice swim definitely check out this place.

Great hotel to stay at in Austin! The room we had was really spacious, and it featured a well-equipped kitchen area with a stove top, and had cabinets and drawers full of cups, plates, and silverware. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful, and all very kind and friendly. The hotel is in a really good area as well. There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel, and there is both a CVS and a Target right down the road from it. Highly recommended!

Very clean and accommodating hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are spacious with a kitchen, sans oven, and living room area. Large desk space and decently fast Wi-Fi. Breakfast meats change each day and is nice and hot and fresh. About 15 minutes from several restaurants and movie theaters. Would certainly stay here again.

Look no further. Wow, loved this Residence Inn. I stayed there on my recent visit to Austin. I highly recommend this one. It was friendly, clean, spacious and comfortable, as I expect from Residence Inn. It has a great pool area to boot, and the best eggs I've every had at a hotel breakfast. The location is the cherry on top. Beautiful area and a fantastic location if you're visiting Austin or the Hill Country. It was like having our own little hill country apartment. Also, the staff was exceptionally friendly.

Awesome hotel! The rooms are huge and the beds are super comfortable. Love the separate rooms with bathroom and living space between. Everything was clean and fresh. The hotel itself looked brand new and had plenty of options nearby for food and shopping. Will definitely stay here again!

This place is great for touring entertainers! There's private bedrooms, and a really nice living room/kitchenette as well as a super friendly staff! Trevor and his staff are very kind and generous! They were able to help us out in a jam and extend our stay! The rooms were some of the best rooms my fiance and I have stayed in! As touring performers having a cool and comfortable room with amazing beds and a couch is incredible to recharge our batteries and continue on the road! The Wi-Fi is great and the placement of the TV was perfect to watch our shows in bed or on the couch! PLUS their complimentary breakfast has an amazing waffle station! You can make some pretty great decadent waffles! I got chocolate chips, brown sugar, coconut flakes and raspberry sauce! Great stay, great staff & great rooms for touring performers! We had a wonderful stay at Residence Inn Austin Lake. They accommodated our request to check out little later the next day because we were playing a show downtown that night. The hotel is in a newly developed area with gorgeous surroundings and a lake nearby. The entire hotel is clean and spacious. I loved how big our room was and how comfy the beds were! The rooms are more like studio apartments than just a hotel room which was great to spread out after traveling in our RV. The pool and hot tub were beautiful were greatly appreciated by us weary travelers. We would love to stay here again for the gorgeous surroundings, comfort and friendliness we were provided!

This hotel was incredible! The staff was super helpful and friendly through our whole stay and the room was bigger than our New York apartment! Giant kitchen with full size refrigerator, glassware, silverware, and a dishwasher. Huge couch and bed. Super clean bathroom. We felt like we were in a home not a hotel! Outlets were in super convenient locations all around the room and the large television turned so you could watch from the couch or the bed. Loved it. We'll definitely be back!

This was our first stay at a Residence Inn by Marriott and it was quite a treat. Fast and friendly check in with plenty of parking for a large sprinter/trailer combo; we loved the outdoor fire pit area and great pool. The rooms here are super sleek and modern and feature a full kitchen. Amazing bed that gave us the rest we needed to recharge before an 8 hour trek to NOLA. Cool live entertainment in the evening that we missed as we were playing our gig. I had just posted a review about another hotel chain’s unbeatable complimentary breakfast, but I wish I hadn’t cause Residence Inn’s takes the cake of any of them. Also hotel is in a great location; I’ll bring my artists to this hotel again any time we are in Austin. Props again to great staff which make the whole experience unsurpassable.

This hotel is very clean and well kept. The hotel staff has been very friendly and helpful during our stay. The area around the hotel is noticeably quieter than other Residence Inn by Marriott hotels in the surrounding area. Definitely recommend!

The Residence Inn Austin Lake Austin is a great hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great water pressure in the showers. A friendly staff was met with a plethora of amenities — laundry, workout room, pool, hot tub, fresh breakfast; truly a wonderful experience. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone from families on vacation to people traveling for work.

I travel every other week for work and I’ve never been more satisfied with a hotel. The staff has been incredible AND they know you by name. I feel like they genuinely care about how your stay is going and how your day was. Chris for example was amazing and had exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend staying here!

Decor is very mod but very nice. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms well appointed and as someone with a C-PAP and a spouse who also has one, the size of the nightstand and access to power outlets was very very nice.

The hotel was just over a year old when I stayed there, and it still looked brand new. For just $10 more I got a suite and it was well worth the extra few bucks. Everything was clean, the hotel was quiet, and the staff were friendly. Recommended.

We walked in and were greeted by Chris — personable, knowledgeable, and very welcoming front desk clerk. Room is spacious, open, modern and very clean. Several restaurants with bars within walking distance and even more just a short drive away. We will definitely stay here again.

I was pleasantly surprised with my visit. The hotel was new and super clean. All top marks on loving arrangements. The gentleman that checked me in, he was super nice, explained everything I'd need to know about the facility, and sent me on my way. The thing that impressed me was when I came back down the next day, he addressed me by name. The staff were all super professional and personable.

This hotel was wonderful. Checking in with Chris at the front desk was quick. He was very informative and was able to answer all of my questions. (I later had additional questions and spoke with Rahan, who was polite and helpful. ) The room was spacious and had everything I needed! The pool area was nice and quiet and the gym actually had free weights, which is very rare. (I'm a gym rat, so this was one of the best parts) The breakfast was great! I would definitely love to stay here again the next time I am in Austin!

Fantastic staff. Chris (front desk, 3 — 11) was eager to do absolutely anything to make my stay go smoothly. He even memorizes guests names! Now who does that?!

So nice and accommodating. The entire staff made you feel welcome and happy to assist anyway they could. We were evacuated and had to extend our stay. The night clerk was great made the adjustment very simple. I'm looking forward to returning under more pleasant circumstances. Great place to stay with very nice spacious rooms, great staff and a good breakfast. There are good seating areas indoors and outdoors on the patio for families or groups to hang out. Pool, basketball hoop, laundry, work out, they have it all.

THE BEST PLACE EVER I felt right at home service was Amazing! ALL ROOMS ARE GREAT kitchen included and everything and extremely low prices. Pool was great we were there til midnight. Nicest employees.

I'm not sure where to start on this one. The hotel is only 10 months old. It is being horribly maintained. Don't bother going into the indoor pool the whole area reeks of mold. The Mexican cleaning ladies are definitely not friendly. They put us in a room when we got there and the sink was falling out. The floor in the bathroom had stains in the grout joints I have no idea what it was. The front desk guy said he was going to take $25 off of our bill for the inconvenience. That never happened. They did move us to a another room. We always stay at Residence Inn when we go on vacation. We will definitely not be returning to the one in Austin Texas.

This new Residence Inn is a great place to stay. They have nice nitely gatherings with drinks and snacks. The indoor pool and hot tub is also nice. My room was spacious and equipped with everything one would need for any length of stay.

Minor issues with the room like popped breakers and loose toilet seat. Hard bed. Otherwise, room was spacious, new, clean, comfortable. A bit of rattling noise in the AC. Would have been great without these issues. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good with very nice, fresh selections.

Room was nice. Internet was horrible. Called front desk because my room # + last name were not found when attempting to log into the Wi-Fi, and they said they'd called me back because they had a lot of people lined up, yet they never did.

Just far enough from the hustle and bustle to make you feel like you're in someplace special but still just a short (scenic) drive to everything Austin offers. Spacious rooms with everything you need to conduct business, or relax. No major issues with noise, always something I worry about. Attentive and friendly staff. TVs offer Netflix, which was a pleasant surprise. Things I would like to see: motion detection ground lighting in the back of the building where the pet area is. Will happily book here again!

Room was big and very nice, staff were very friendly (especially Chris with the hipster mustache), and the location was optimal for my business trip. Built-in kitchen had everything I needed for my stay. Very pleasant experience overall.

Clean rooms, quiet, fully stocked kitchen in room so you can cook your own healthy meals. Covent to gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores, Post Net and nail salon. Staff is excellent.

Good lobby is very nice and comforting, the people were not very hospitable.
