We were stranded in the winter storm and was able to take in our girls soccer team. The entire staff has been great to work with in accommodations and keep extending our stay until we can leave. That is the only wonderful part of this horrible experience. Would recommend staying here anytime!

First Thing — Employees/Desk Clerk WAS very friendly, that was very important to me when getting off of a long flight The room and BED was clean and spacey. Yes I will recommend family and friends to stay here.

This room is very nice and relaxing after a hard crises of a day.

We have stayed here 3 seperate times and will continue staying here in the future. The staff is amazing and friendly. The rooms are clean. The only drawback is the room service menu is pretty limited and pretentious for someone who is literally a meat and potatoes guy.

Check in was an absolute breeze, super fast!
The rooms were really quiet and had large doors so you couldn’t hear anything from the hallways which came in handy since I had children screaming and running around the room!
The room we stayed in had 2 queen beds, as well as a pull out sofa bed! The two queen beds and sofa bed were simply divided by a small frosted window witch definitely made the space feel a lot larger! It’s the small things! The bathrooms were really nice! And the showers water pressure was Really STRONG!
I have super thick hair and this DOES matter, especially after a long day of traveling it’s really nice to have some hot water with good pressure on your back and neck. The beds were so nice, i’m pretty sure it was the first time I slept through the night in a very long time.
THEY HAD BREAKFAST!
Witch seems to be so impossible to find now a days.
I would definitely stay here again 100%!

Very beautiful hotel, clean and well maintained.

Stay was fine. Convenient for parking. Pick up is a mess. Waited 30min for a shuttle. Pick up is at departures not arrivals and that is not indicted anywhere. Spend your $14 a night somewhere else for parking.

Had a gift card, they wouldn’t accept it because I had booked online… ALTHOUGH I had called them before I booked online to see if I could use it upon arrival since it does not give you the option to enter a gift card online… tried to make sure I was doing everything right and it made no difference at all! Bye bye Hyatt… hello Hilton.

So nice the minute you walk in. Nice size rooms and overall comfortable space.

This place is an absolute joke. Hotel shuttle is advertised as running day and night, only to be told when we arrive that it stops at midnight. No mention when we called earlier and told the front desk we would be arriving around 1 a. M. Hotel tells us they will call us a cab instead — wait at the curb outside the terminal for 30 min, no call back. We uber there at our own cost and there is nobody in the front desk area for a good 10-15 minutes while we are walking around, until I finally yell out “is anyone here” and some lady appears from behind the wall.

Its a highend hotel that is not expensive.

We loved our stay over July 4th. Beautiful rooms, great bar area, friendly staff. The kitchen staff that prepared our breakfast each morning was wonderful and felt like family! Ms Cathy and her staff made us feel at home. Thank you for the great stay! We will be back, as will the friends who came with us! Thank yall so much!

This is perhaps the best airport hotel in Austin and one of my favorite Hyatt Products. Van driver's are nice, front desk staff and concierge are Welcoming, friendly and professional. Excellent service, great rooms big and well appointed, comfortable beds, great breakfast, and housekeeping is very quiet. Rooms are not as clean as when the hotel opened but that is my only concern. Definitely recommend staying here!

I love the Hyatt Place hotels because the rooms are spacious and have sofa/living area. It makes it more comfortable. The hotel staff is very nice and they offer free breakfast in the morning. It's only about 5 minutes or less from the airport and the hotel has a shuttle that runs every 15 minutes. As for things in walking distance there really isn't anything, but the hotel does have a restaurant.

It was tricky to find our way to the hotel (our navigation system directed us through the restricted paid parking lot of the Hilton), but once we got there everything was fine. Staff was very professional and kind, and they validate parking for anyone with a guest. My only complaint was that sodas were unreasonably overpriced.

I gave this hotel 4out of 5 star because of a couple of complaints. Other than that the location, comfort, and interior was great. First, I wanted to take a shower after a long day of traveling but the shower head kept drooping downward. Second, I used the iron to press my clothes for my morning meeting and it spit out rusty water on my white shirt. Grrr! I called the front desk and they would give me a new one but I had to go get it. It's not a big deal but it would have meant a lot more if they sent someone to bring it to me. All in all, I would stay here again.

A little away from the city (obviously) but it is a very good place to stay. Big breakfast, pool, gym, nice staff. Modern and clean!

The rooms are awesome, service is awesome… Stayed here before never disappoints… I can actually get a good night's rest!

I had to stay here due to my flight being cancelled July 13th. My friend booked me a room here for the night online. He was told by a Hyatt employee that I needed to provide a credit card to hold the deposit, which was fine. When I arrived that evening, I was told by another employee that I would be charged the full amount ($136.85) plus the deposit even though my friend already paid for the room online. I was so exhausted from wandering Austin all day in the heat with my luggage that I just gave in and paid. This was my first time being in Texas and first time traveling alone. Anyway, I figured I would get a drink at the bar and ordered a margarita. I pretty much paid $15 (that’s including the tip) for sour mix. I should have known better after I saw the same lady who checked me in also make my drink. It was the most awful experience I had staying at a Hyatt hotel. They couldn’t even get my drink right. Fast forward weeks later I received an additional 2 more charges to my credit card. For what!?! One was made July 24th for $136.85 and another made today $196.98. I’ve called but every response is “we’ll have the manager call you”. I’ve been on hold for the last 25min and still no manager. Or anyone to even acknowledge that I’m still on the line. And I can hear them talking and laughing in the background. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. How can a hotel company treat their customers this way … I will never do business with them in the future.

Everything, roomy room, computers and printer, free full breakfast, fitness room and pool. Entrance was through “paid parking” which we didn’t know of charge! Circled about 4 times looking for non-existent general entrance.

The service was awesome. The location is good if you wanna have a 1 minute drive to the airport. However it's not conveniently located near anything else. There's always at least a 25 minute drive to get to anything. The rooms were very clean and spacious. However, if you don't like your mattress to be hard, this is not your place. They offer concierge services. Free Wi-Fi. Complimentary breakfast. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the bed was like sleeping on concrete.

Check out was such a typical horrible experience, Mexicans make the world a horrible place knowing they are only nice to Mexicans they like, if it were a white person, the white person would be fired, but BC it was not, somehow racism is acceptable… Yet everyone blames whites for the problem. A Mexican overweight maintenance man was extremely nice to someone he thought it would matter if he was noticed being overtly friendly, on the other hand, when he was there on Sunday at our checkout experience, he acted like we were trash and not even human only some sort of sub-human feces, so typical of American Companies to hire uneducated Affirmative Action employees and treat whites like Hebrew-Slaves — unworthy of mutual respect. Just another form of Antisemitism.

The hotel is clean. The staff extra friendly. The hotel is close to the airport, the mall and UT. The area is developing (nothing in walking distance). My reasons for the two stars are… the mattress is extra firm (felt like I was sleeping on bricks). They also need to control the flies in the dining area.

Was forced to stay here due to a cancelled United flight, and on a day when everything went bad, this place shined The Manager Franklin and a worker named Anna went above and beyond multiple times. Including an off-the-clock trip driving for diapers for our daughter. Absolutely the BEST customer service I've ever experienced. These are good people who truly care, and their stellar service should be shouted from the roof. Incredible. Thanks!

The hotel was nice and new, but like most airport hotels, you are isolated from any restaurants. No place nearby. The hotel kitchen is very "hit and miss". The staff is very friendly, but they need to get the cooking staff together. One night it was outstanding, the next, "not so much".

Overall, this was a nice hotel. Rooms were reasonably clean and the dining area food was good. Service in the bar area was okay (some nights better than others). Location is far outside city, but if you are looking for something near airport, this is a solid bet.

It pains me to write this but I have to say this hotel in my opinion is NOT acceptable re minimum standards primarily because of its WATER — apparently the hotel uses a 'water softener' which when taking a shower or washing one's hands leaves a soapy, greasy film on oneself — it feels weird and gross! I don't get this 'soft water' thing — it is not the norm at least not in the vast majority of hotels across the country — normal water and feeling clean after taking a shower should be a basic when staying at any hotel, no? Other than this 'soft water' situation the rooms at the Hyatt Place are spacious and quiet, the staff friendly and the free breakfast buffet very good…

Newer hotel (open 9 months), clean, nice decor, friendly check in staff, comfortable bed, nice high pressure shower (be careful shower tile floor is super slippery use their rubber shower mat). Good bathroom counter space. If you need toiletries, mouth wash, etc. Ask at front desk only soap and lotion in my room). Next to freeway and airport but well insulated and quiet. Good in room coffee and Seattle's Best in the meal area. Good food variety at breakfast, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage well prepared, good fruit, cereal, hard boiled egg and sliced waffle quarter options. Nice set up on juices and milk, not the cheesy dispenser machine ser up. Waffles premade, ready to go. Also donuts and toast options. Had their 3 Korean Street Tacos for dinner, also good $11/$12 so a little over priced. Fitness Center is good with Dumbbells, Adjustable Bench, Fitness Balls, Med Balls, 4 Fitness Mats, Multiple pieces of Treads and Ellipticals. Also pool area. Only down side large carpet stain in my room, looks like thet tried to clean but other wise very pleasant accommodations. Thumbs up to the kitchen and check in staff, very pleasant and courteous group.

Clean and spacious rooms. Modern trendy styled lobby with lots of places to sit and work, eat, meet. I like the outlets conveniently placed on tables and sitting areas. Staff at Bar and Kitchen were friendly and helpful. The front desk was very very nice and eager to help get us checked in. The rooms are great, bed was comfy, pillows were in abundance. Plenty of lights to brighten up the space and comfortable places to sit and plug in. Thank you for the TWO USB plugs on the bedside table clock. Bonus points for that! I will definitely recommend this Hyatt Place to others. They had a menu for late night eats and a bar for drinks. Free breakfast was the best!

New, clean hotel. Large rooms with a sitting area in addition to nice beds. Friendly staff. Free breakfast. Free transportation to/from the airport.

Would give 4.5 stars if I could. Nice, clean place with super-friendly staff. Good and free breakfast. The only less-than-positive was the shower — had water pressure that was actually too high for the shower head, such that the general spray setting was a tad painful. And the water itself was of the sort (soft? ) that makes it feel as though you can't get the soap off your skin.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Rooms were well appointed and very clean. A great place to stay in Austin before an early morning flight.

Hyatt Place always gives you a lot of space for the money. This is a new location so it's nice and clean. The staff has been very friendly.

Brand new hotel. Conveniently located literally across the street from the airport. Modern and spacious rooms with very comfortable bed. Great variety offered in the complimentary breakfast which included scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, toast, cereals, oatmeal, fruit, and various juices. Small fitness room with free weights and elliptical machines. There is a pool on site. Very friendly and helpful staff. I'm Looking forward to staying here again.

I could easily see the hotel from the nearby road but seeing how to get into the parking lot is a bit difficult when it's dark out as it's a bit cumbersome. The entrance and gallery area were very clean and there were multiple people available to help me check in when I arrived. I had prechecked in online so I was able to show my ID and get my room key quickly. Finding my room was easy following the signage. I did not find myself waiting long for an elevator coming or going, which was nice. My room was very clean and tidy feeling. I liked that there were privacy blinds so you could let some light in with out others seeing in or had the option of closing the shade to block out sunlight completely. I do not recall seeing a single vending machine. There were drinks and snacks available for purchase near the check in counter. And food/drinks available in the gallery. It was $12+ for a regular drinking glass sized margarita. Typical pricing for a hotel bar I suppose. All staff I encountered were pleasent during my stay.

Nice rooms, comfortable, cool lobby. I didn't stay very long due to an early flight. Overall was nice!

Great service. Beautiful facility. Delicious breakfast. They were able to accommodate our large group at the last minute due to an issue at a different hotel and meet all our needs and then some.

Great Place, and really close to airport. Shuttle starts at 0430 for those early flights. Will stay here again. Rooms are great as well.

Really more than 5 stars… The staff is amazing. My flight canceled and I called to book a room last minute. Iris picked me up a the airport within 5 minutes of my call and drove me to the hotel. Janette was so lovely at check in — they even poured me a nice glass of wine. The hotel is brand new — clean and lovely. I'd rather be home… but what a great second choice. Good job Hyatt — you hired very well.

Very welcoming front desk staff, giving you all the information you need for your stay! The rooms are modern and comfortable. The Wi-Fi system is fast and complimentary! Overall a wonderful hotel!

Very clean. Hotel staff is great. We called the hotel for a van when we landed and when we walked out of the airport the van was already there.

Let me tell you. I've never been greeted and treated so great than I was from Sophia, and Iris. Those two were amazing. Sophia handled the multi-tasking of working the front desk and bar tending like a champ. Especially since she was new to making drinks! Keep it up!

It was very new and very nice. It is a little hard to get to and they have an annoying gate on the parking lot because it is at an airport, but otherwise it is nice.

All the staff is super nice and rooms are really nice. Breakfast was super tasty as well.

This hotel has only been in operation for about a week and for the most part it's exactly what you would expect from a Hyatt Place. Nice size rooms, sturdy furniture & mini fridge. Small gym area but free weights, machines and yoga balls… also free breakfast. Also, free airport shuttle. Things I was not too happy about: only shower, no tub… you may be able to request it but not the best for young kids. The bed was pretty firm, not medium comfortable like I'm accustomed to. Also, there isn't a full service restaurant. I placed an order for some food around noon and they called about 30 minutes later saying they were out of that option, and there was a limited menu. It's close to the airport.

This property has only been open a few days and it's phenomenal. The staff is stellar and the rooms are better than expected. Never been a better experience when stranded in Austin. Visit the bar. Mahogany is great, and Janette at the front desk is friendlier than a sales person who needs a commission (but not the same as). The shuttle driver deserves a tip too — don't forget. You'll want to take good care of these kind and helpful people. I promise.
