Motel 6-Hutchins, TX Inn

Clean from what my eyes can see. Courteous and accommodating clerk helped me find a parking place.

Other reviews are right about the mold. It's everywhere even if you don't see it. I have an allergy to mold and the first room I went in had mold. So they moved me to another room with no visible evidence of mold. I thought I had taken enough precaution, but I wake up the next day and have all kinds of symptoms of sleeping in a mold infested room. If you don't have allergies, I guess you should be fine. But if you do, don't chance it!

I’d give this motel a negative 10 stars if I could. Our room smelled like mold so bad that it gave me a huge headache and made my nose burn. When we asked for a new room the manager said no they don’t have one and walked out of our room. There was mold in the bathroom and on the wall next my bed. The bathroom door was falling apart and stuck to the floor when trying to open it. The top part was duct taped together. Very unsafe. Don’t waste your money and go somewhere else.

Pretty ghetto with deals going on in parking lot pretty much out in the open. My friend wouldn't let me go out to my car alone if that tells you anything.

Beds are comfortable. No bugs. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Not much for breakfast but not too important. Places all around. Nice foreign family owned.

The room is very clean. The cable TV wasn't working but we connect our Xbox 1x to it and watch netflix. They have the BEST Wi-Fi.

Very comfortable beds! Moldy walls, wet carpets in hallway with mold, not so friendly staff. The price was great though, and they did not mind my small dog being there.

Clean, well kept motel. I only had one complaint, No coffee pot in the room and no access to the office where the coffee was kept. So when we left at 5:15 AM we had no coffee before continuing on our trip.

This was absolutely the worst motel I've ever stayed in in my life! My door key didn't work and rather than give me a new room after 5 failed key remakes, the front desk attendant tells me "If you leave your room just let me know and I'll let you back in". The room wasn't very clean, there was dried up blood on the bathroom door, cigarette burns on the bathtub and it smelled like stale cigarettes. Needless to say, I didn't trust the bed and got very little sleep in the chair I chose to sleep in only because I was too tired to go elsewhere. I will NEVER visit a motel 6 again! No need to "leave the lights on", this was a first and last for me!

Not a bad place to stay at if you are traveling. Close enpugh to everything but far enough to stay away from traffic and over congestion.

Need to clean the room's better hallways need to be vacuumed daily. Clean bathroom walls, doors fingerprints all over the window… could do better and the smell in the room's just not fresh.

Was put in room 101 but heater was missing dial for temp setting so I basically froze in my room. If you like hardwood floors this is the place for u. It was a decent room just make sure creature comforts are in room first before you take it. 101 is right next to office and front door is outside where all others are inside. If you hate the cold stay away from room 101.

Clean facility clean rooms updated environment I believe that it is a very nice budget-friendly option for short-term and long-term stay.

The room "LOOKS" nice online! BUT when we got here. The room smells like crackheads with no shower! the linen smells like theu haven't been washed since the fiart of last month! the towels were already wet but they hung them back up to dry I guess?!?!? the pillows smelled like feet! the hall way was flooded with dirty water comin from who knows and even tho they had air freshners in the hallway … it still smells like mold/ mildew.

Wasn't bad. Kinda generic but clean. Had about 4 bugs on floor I had to kill. But no bed bugs. That was nice… hey… this is texas… bugs do get in sometimes. No biggie.

Location and pricing helps determine my choice of motel/hotel stays. In this case it was a last minute booking so the location and price met my needs. However, there was no continental breakfast a popular favorite for travelers. It is not for everyone to eat at McDonalds, Jack-in Box, Dairy Queen, or What-a — Burger early in the morning especially if your family has 5 or more members. The rooms looked very good on the website but the covers were wrinkled and cigarette burn holes in the covers. We took a smoking room because no other rooms were available. In addition the bath towels smelled of smoke and the stairwell was lined with cigarette buts. Other than those small issues it was a nice stay.

The hotel rooms were clean and the beds where comfortable. The refrigerator keep leaking but finally stop after being there a couple of days. I keep the "Do Not Disturb" sign up most of the time, but when I did need maid service, she didn't understand what I was asking for, which was clean towels. Recommendation: All employee's should be able read, understand, and speak good English.

The room was nice ish here's the problem. BED BUGS! we demanded a refund and left didn't even stay the night! My husband and I got bit a couple times! Yuck! The hot water didn't last long and the mini fridge wasn't really cold. Just cool. It sucked! We left. Nope. Not getting bit by bedbugs! My pillow better not have any dammit!

Internet so slow it's useless. No laundry room. Employe told me ice machine has been broke for 2 years.

Very polite had problems with the room next door and they handle it right away, nice clean and spacious rooms ive been staying here for the past month and a half and haven't wanted to leave since all they need to do for it to be perfect is fix the ice machine but even with the ice machine broken they are nice enough to give you ice at the front as I said very nice and polite workers they treat you with respect and they dont look at you like your a criminal unlike the Gold Inn, defenetly recommend.

Everything was good but they didn't have extra blankets.

Clean room very comfortable beds and a very nice television to top it off.

Well I've been stranded my truck broke down spent 15 days so far lost of money I've spent on, rrpaires after 9 days not hot water in their showers after spending 10, 000.00 on repairs I need a hot bath no hot bath people are nice though.

Too close to a major highway. Too much traffic noise.

Not fancy, but it's Motel 6, OK? The Wi-Fi is extremely slow and parking lot space is very limited. However, I was surprised that the ethernet connection actually worked!

The ice machine in the lobby was broke my entire stay, so if you're expecting ice dont get your hopes high.

If you are the kind of person that is broke and is cheap and want cheap for good service then dont come. Other than that you should be fine!

When we arrived at our "pet room", the smoke detector was missing, the door lock was broken, the bathroom had mildew on the shower curtain and door, the bathroom walls look "brown" (Yes. That kind of brown), and the shower doesn't function properly. The attendant replaced and tested the smoke detector, and stated that the previous tenants had "taken it out". When I asked why, he couldn't give me an answer. He also stated that he would look for a replacement lock, but never returned or called. The attendants were rude, and not very attentive, as the day-shift person was on a personal phone call on his iphone the entire time that I was checking in. The night shift attendant basically ignored us, and I had to walk to the lobby and interrupt his "computer time" to get an answer to a question that we had previously asked him over the phone, which he stated he would call back in a few. Bottom line, this experience has soured us on our Motel 6 Experience, and they have lost me as a customer, specifically, because of the safety and security issues with our room.

My family suffered from a lot bedbug bites. The owner has never replied to our requests to solve this issue. We are going to sue the owner.

The cable went out plus pay for internet. Please what dark age they from. I wish I stay next door at the other hotel. I have photos.
