The room was spacious and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great and made it easy to get on and off the highway. The beds were too firm but comfortable enough. The breakfast is OK and included rehydrated eggs, sausage, and biscuits. Overall, this was a good value for the price.

If I could give no stars I would, I spent the night here with my family and had a horrible experience. My parents and little sister slept in the king size bed and I slept in the couch bed with my brother. When the morning came around my sister and I woke up with red itchy spots all over or legs and thighs. We didn't tell front office because we really didn't know what could have caused them. I checked the mattress on the couch, which was really stained, but had no signs of bed bugs. When I got home I did a little research and found out my bites were flea bites, which makes sense because the hotel is pet friendly. I called the office so they could know of the flea situation, and hoping of maybe a reimbursement for my night. However, when I called I was told they did a white rag test and saw no signs of fleas so there was nothing they could do. When I told my dad he decided to call and they just hung up on him which was really rude.

Needs maintenance. Many cracked tiles. Grout in shower was heavily mildewed. No cream at lobby coffee station. Pets allowed so was awoken many times by barking dogs. Room had a funky smell too. On the plus the needs were very comfortable.

We stayed here 3 years ago and it was the best of any we stayed at during a 15 day trip. Everything was clean and the staff were great. I would definitely stay here again.

Staffs are friendly and responsive. There are places that could do some better maintenance but otherwise its a decent price and who could say no to a complementary breakfast. Now if only pool was indoors that would been better. (Oh and fyi they said the pool is seasonal so I guess summer to fall? )

Very clean environment. Front desk people were nice and helpful. Breakfast was awesome as always! Housekeepers should be a little nicer though.

This hotel is clean and updated. Employees are friendly. It was quiet on our floor. Breakfast was on par with other hotels. This was the only hotel I could find that didn't have bad reviews for bugs. We will stay again.

It's a cozy place. All the staffs are very supportive and kind. It looks um classic? Retro. But it is a worth while place to stay for a night or two. Not the best scenery but for what it's worth it's very good.

Vet discount. Clean rooms. Friendly people. Solid predictable breakfast. We arrived late from Chicago and slept like babies.

I had a great night. Took a long hot soak in the tub and slept on a bed that was super comfortable. Everything was clean and up to date and breakfast was amazing!

Very clean and comfortable room. Hotel is located very close to Interstate 20 and Interstate 45. The service was great and the people working there were extremely friendly. Hubby had surgery at the Dallas VA Hospital and this hotel was only 6 miles away… great stay!

Clean and spacious room. Not sure about the trucking yard behind the building, but it's near the highway and easy on and off.

Be mindful when checking in at this hotel. If you go through a 3rd party, have your authorization form available. They wil not let you check in if you don't have one. The computers are also a day late. Not a good place to sleep unless your desperate.

I stayed at this location for a single night. The room was exactly what we expected and well kept. Staff members were quick and competent. The breakfast was from 7 to 10 am and is what you would expect. Overall, it provided everything that hotels with its price level are supposed to provide, and it did so with efficiency.

Very nice and clean. It looks like it's either new or the management just stays on top of it. The staff was nice. The room was great and I love that the ac unit allows me to put it on fan so because I love ambient noise while I sleep. I will definitely stay there again.

The Hutchins La Quinta Inn & Suites location seems to be very low-keyed it's in a low-key area of the Metroplex close enough to Dallas but further far enough away to hear yourself think plenty of local Necessities nearby gas Food grocery alcohol even a firing range all located nearby.

The staff at this hotel is outstanding. This place has a little of everything. Small fitness center, small conference room, small office, small pool. It gets the job done.

Absolutely horrible! I was checked into RM The A/C leaked and soaked the whole floor. They moved me to RM The A/C didn't work at all. The maintenance guy (who is also the owner/manager) managed to "fix" it by setting the thermostat to 50 degrees in order to get the temp to 70 degrees. The hallways were cooler than the room. I asked for a different room and he then said that I wouldn't be satisfied with any room that he provided. What does he mean by that? Does that​ mean that there is something wrong with every single room in the hotel? I think that's what he meant because they now moved me to RM and the A/C works but it smells like something is burning in here. I'm too tired to fight. I just said my prayers for the night and asked the Lord to not let the hotel burn to the ground while I'm in my sleep.

Great service, convienent location (next to food and gas) and very comfortable beds. They were very hospitalible and accommodated our van and trailer attachment. That's not easy to find at most hotels. Overall, great stay. Would do again.

While the hotel is clean and the staff are nice, this is one of the noisiest hotels I can ever remember staying in. The walls are thin so I heard the tv, conversations, snoring, etc. From the room (s) surrounding mine. In addition, it seemed there was a high volume of traffic in and out ALL night long with more noisy travelers. My only other complaint is the towels. I am a petite person and the towels were so small (not to mention thin and like sandpaper) that they barely reached around me! Good, convenient location and good service, but the cons here significantly outweigh the positives. I like a good nights sleep!

Ok, but not great. Room smelled of smoke, despite signs saying non-smoking, and showed signs of age. Staff was friendly.

The room & bathroom were clean and newly remodeled. The Bed & linnens were clean & soft. The room was equiped with coffee maker, microwave & fridge. Free Wifi with good signal strength as well as laundry, a busines center & a gym room. Free hot breakfast 6-9 but the oj wasn't great. Pets welcome. Overall it was a decent stay and we had a good experience. It was Worth the budget friendly price of $98.

It was a good hotel until the maid came in without knocking. She walked in on our co-worker's room as well. And again even with the 'do not disturb' sign on the door as well. The hotel manager didn't really do much about it either. Nice hotel if you like getting a maid randomly walking into your room without permission.

Friendly receptionist, quick check in, clean inside and out, great price. Convenient stores near by. I dislike the hotel "neighbors" kids running up and down the hall and all the loudness in the parking lot. Especially after 10.

Very nice place inside and out! The entire building smelled clean and new, the room was very nice, modern and clean. Huge bathroom, modern tile floor and walls. Pillow top beds with medium pillows. Wish I'd stayed here the next night as well! Best place I've ever stayed! This is not a fake review either lol.

I travel frequently for business, largely staying at La Quinta for their customer service. However, the La Quinta in Hutchins is the exception. This will be my 3rd and final stay at the Hutchins location. The people at the Front Desk are helpful, but the management is unresponsive and shows little regard toward their guests. Each time I stayed, there was a different issue I encountered. This time, I was advised the pool/hot tub area would be closed for the season (after I checked in for 3 weeks). No where was this advertised on their website or literature. To the contrary, they advertise the availability of these features in their amenities. It was also 60-70 degrees over the past week and they refused to open the area. Also, do not expect the same type of breakfast menu you are accustomed to at other locations; they are far more limited. Again, as a whole, La Quinta is a great location. It's only at this individually owned location that I run into issues with the lack of consideration and customer service at the management level.

Better than average breakfast room is cleaned pretty good everyday, parking lot lighting is good. Friendly staff all but owner doesn't speak to customers.

The night person who works at night was absolutely wonderful! he helped me settle in, was very informative on knowledge of the dfw area as well as attractions and spots to eat, as well as various recommendations. The hotel was outstanding! Very clean, service for the room was fast and done in a timely manner. It was peaceful as well as quiet at night. I just want to say thank you Bryan for your outstanding customer service and that cheerful attitude when you seen a guest just needing someone to vent to. I rate this hotel above and beyond normal due to Mr Bryan.

Stayed with my 7 year old for a Saturday and Sunday night. Very nice. Outdoor Pool and Spa, exercise room and laundry. You won't be disappointed.

This has been one of the best hotel experience we have had while driving as OTR Truckers. Parking for big trks. In lot next door. Room was very clean and spacious. Decor was amazing. Not a hotel feeling. Pets are free and ours loved the room also. Breakfast was more than donuts and coffee. Corn dog sausage, scrambled eggs, etc. Will stay here and will recommend.
