My wife and I stayed at the Westin and their valet service parked pur car but left the lights on so the battery died in their garage. It took them literally nearly 2 hours to resolve this issue and gave us nothing but a "sorry". No refund of valet service. Nothing. In addition, my wife and I were asleep in our room with not so much clothes on and their cleaning services barged in with no warning, of course only apologizing as she backed out of the room. The hotel is aesthetically great, but the service and our time there was not good at all.

I booked a room on there website. They have big bold letters stating their site has the lowest rates. Guaranteed. Don't believe it. When I pointed out that I could book three nights on TRIPADVISOR for less than I was being charged for two nights booked through their site — no offer of an adjustment. No apologies. Not even a phone call. Just an email template basically saying better luck next time. I will have better luck next time. I'll stay at a different property.

Great service. This is a nicer hotel, and is attached to the Galleria Mall which is a nice uptick. The staff is friendly. There are nice restaurant options. And the concierge is friendly as well as the front desk staff. The room was pretty clean although I felt that the linen on my bed in particular could have been cleaner. The comforter was a dingy yellow color. Otherwise the room was very modern and the bathroom was impressively Modern. I was staying at this hotel on a business trip and I would definitely stay at it again the next time I'm in Dallas.

The location was great as it was attached to the mall. The room bed was plush and comfortable. All staff members were extremely friendly. Plenty of parking and the best part was it was free unless you wanted valet parking. Also no extra charge for Wi-Fi. The only negative is if you order room service be prepared for a lot of added fees so add about $20 to whatever you order… Enjoy your stay!

Very nice hotel as you walk in. For the room rate that they charge, the rooms need to be more up to day, specially the beds and bathroom. Overall nice hotel, but they fall short on the appearance that doesn't match with what you pay. Nice and convenient that it is connected to the mall and has different food options.

The check in took awhile but my goodness, this hotel is luxurious. The rooms are fantastic and the location is great. It gives you so many dining options without having to leave the building.

The staff and the hotel quality made this visit excellent. They care and it shows. The staff wants you to know how important you are and they are definite about it. Your room is mere steps to the mall which opens onto the hotel. Your stay will be marvelous.

We stayed here for my daughter's Make a Wish trip. Everyone was very nice and our stay was great! The only thing we didn't like was the lack of microwave and fridge that we could use in the room.

Large rooms, great location, clean and nice atmosphere. The service in the lobby can feel a bit too "put on" instead if genuine. That said, there was nothing lacking.

A very nice room. A little more upscale than what I'm used to. However, there is no free Wi-Fi in your room. The lighted mirror in the bathroom didn't light. There is no complimentary breakfast. The business center requires fees. And having been used to low-flow shower heads most of my life, the 81 orifice Square shower head in the shower seemed really wasteful to me. But, it was quite luxurious. The staff was courteous and helpful.

This place is AMAZING not only because of the 5-star resort style accommodations but the staff is absolutely by far the BEST of the BEST. We've been travelling to the Westin Galleria for at least 30 years and experienced nothing less than perfection during each luxurious stay. I highly recommend…

The hotel is next to the mall, there is a direct access to the past, shopping and leisure is very convenient (shopping malls 3 floors and tax Rebate window)

This place was great. Room was very comfortable with a spacious walk in shower. Staff were very friendly and definitely went above and beyond during our visit. I wish we didn't have to pay for parking, but we parked with the mall's garage a few feet away. Will look forward to a future visit.

Spacious clean comfortable room, large shower, ample storage. In-hotel restaurant and bar, as well as direct entry to large Galleria Mall. Bedding super comfortable, ample lighting, desk space & seating. Javier at front desk very helpful and courteous. Good sized television with good channel selection. Lots of comfortable seating nooks in common areas. Gym is clean, spacious, with top notch ellipticals and treadmills, 5 or 6 of each, and the television screens on them worked! Complimentary earbuds, towels and water bottles. Free weights and the "basic 6" weight machines. Coffee brewer in room. Only negatives I noticed: no refrigerator in room (other than obscenely expensive stocked pay as you go fridge) or microwave. Highly recommend for a comfortable, well-appointed stay.

I was attending a conference @the hotel, in the San Antonio room, it was a very nice room. Spacious for all 350 of us with tables, chairs a stage & still had room to go Only complaint is the lighting was low. The conference I attended was a makeup conference so we could have used much brighter lighting.

This hotel offered a really good experience. Most of the people there seemed to be business travelers, so the employees there are really good at anticipating needs. I didn't love the parking situation. If you wanted to avoid paying exorbitant valet costs, you had to park in a deck and then walk back. While not terrible, this wasn't ideal either. Nevertheless, this is a pretty good value and location.

Hello it’s a Westin. Last one I stayed at was in Fiji, super nice there too! Wife got a great deal on Hotwire two nights $160 including taxes.

The rooms are spacious, extremely nice and comfortable, especially the king size bed. The bathroom is large with modern fixtures and an amazing shower. The view is spectacular and it has nice restaurants and lobby downstairs, not to mention it's connected to the Galleria mall. The pool was nice, but was not heated or lit when my wife and I tried it at night.

The hotel is beautiful and I know several people who think this is the best place to stay in Dallas. My stay was nice up until check out. My buddies came by to say goodbye and they smoked before coming in. Manager thought this was enough reason to give me a 250$ smoking fee. No kind of smoking was done in the room. There wasn't even a lighter in there during my 2 day stay. No ashtray. Nothing… I called about it and he wouldn't even call me back at first. When I finally got a hold of him he would hardly listen to me. It just didn't feel right. I've never been accused of smoking in my life up until now…

If you are looking to spend a weekend shopping in Dallas or really just enjoying everything Dallas has to offer in general, the Westin Galleria should be on a very short list of options. The location is unbeatable. Simply walk downstairs and you're in the mall. I guess one downside would be there are usually a lot of people in the mall and therefore traffic around the hotel can be unpleasant if you want to go somewhere else. Great hotel regardless!

Had a small issue with a faulty Ethernet cord borrowed from the hotel, but that did not make or break the presentation. The support staff for the event were absolutely on point, and very polite.

This hotel is a great stop in Dallas. Great location, great staff. I had a deep tissue massage and it was a 9 out of 10 stars. Great staff, and the remodeled rooms are very nice. Bed was extremely comfortable as well. Look at the lower reviews… none are legitimate complaints of the hotel nor its service/employees. It is a great place!

As a business traveler to DFW twice a month this is my go to spot. The staff is always superb and there are great dinning options on location. There are three that I frequent without Leaving the building. This is a tourist place so the Nickle and dime fees add up but I am usually disappointed when I stay elsewhere.

We accidentally went to the wrong Westin and came here. The counter staff and valet staff were very helpful when we realized our mistake. Trendy location with a fancy shopping center on site. Looked really nice.

Love the hotel more than anything, they always make it work for our family. The only thing I DISLIKE is the FACT when I call down and ask VALET to bring our car down this is Vince's son, THEY have the AUDACITY to call me, a 15 year old male with his own vehicle a ma'am. I'm sorry it's kind of starting to piss me off.

This is the best hotel in the Galleria area. The rooms are updated and large, and the hotel is a direct part of the mall / shopping area. Room service is expensive but overall good quality.

Saturday evening check in was very crowded. I booked 5 weeks in advance double bed room; check in gave me a single. When I explained we booked a double and produced the hotel's written confirmation, he offered a rollaway. Sounds uncomfortable, especially for an adult. The single room was small. It does enter the mall nicely through the 2nd floor. If you must stay here, ask for a room away from the west side. The west sun from 5-7 p. M. Was so hot and bright, we had to use a black-out curtain and couldn't enjoy any natural light. The selection for decent food without driving was slim. We ended up with a choice of Potbelly or Corner Bakery unless we went high-end (Grill). The in-hotel restaurant is not appropriate for anyone sensitive/allergic to/bothered by seafood. The Tollway traffic on the west side is noisy. All-in-all, I would not recommend this hotel, ESPECIALLY for the price paid. I have experienced much better service and accommodations at similar or lower cost. Not worth it.

Lovely! Lobby/hallways smell nice, rooms immaculate! I love that the mall is attached; great shopping and a variety of food establishments to suit everyone's wallet. From fine dining to McDonald's; there is something for everyone! Downside — having to pay for Wi-Fi, I already pay $$$ for the room — Wi-Fi should be included. Need more "park your own vehicle" spaces. This is my second visit, I'll definitely return. Loved being on the 17th floor!

Decent rooms. Good location attached to the mall. But blatantly lacking in customer service. Their valet damaged our rental car and the hotel takes no responsibility. They said we have to deal with the insurance company of the third party valet company. That is unacceptable and totlly unfair to their customers and guests.

I was there for a ballroom dancing competition so I only visited their ballroom, restrooms and nearby restaurants. In general the staff was very polite and the halls and ballroom were clean. However, by the end of the day many bathroom stalls were out of toilet paper or were very dirty. I didn't see any staff members around cleaning the bathrooms and with that many people there, they got dirty quickly.

There are a lot of things to like about this hotel. Friendly staff, great location, comfy beds and large rooms, updated furniture and fixtures, etc. The only complaint I have is that STRONG smell of white tea they pump into their lobby. It is overwhelming. It is a nice smell in small quantities, but I feel like I've walked into an Abercrombie store rather than a nice hotel.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! We did a mini Christmas stayca so we could do our shopping and it was SO WORTH IT. Walking directly from the property into the mall, having breakfast while watching ice skating and shopping at our own pace make the entire expereince much more enjoyable and relaxing!

The transition from the hotel and the mall area is seamless. The security and cleaning department were slso great, the rooms are nice and cozy and the restaurants are just amszing. This hotel is incredible.

The westin galleria was a beautiful hotel. It was comfortable and met my expectations. Housekeeping knocking on my door with the do no disturb sign on the knob and then opening the door was odd but I just ignored it. I self parked and didn't know there was a garage across from the hotel. It's the 'purple' garage and there's no elevator but it's closer than the others. And that makes a difference when it's pouring rain!

The staff was all very attentive and I loved being attached to the mall. Rooms are brand new and gorgeous.

Fabulous hotel especially if you want to shop at high end stores. Just walk into this place and smell the aroma and you will know you will be staying in class that night.

I almost began to second guess my decision to stay here, after reading some reviews of the staff being rude. I'm glad I didn't change my mind. Everyone that I dealt with was nothing less than kind and helpful. The place was amazing, clean, and well-kept. I'll definitely stay here again.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! My wife and I traveled to Dallas for the first time recently to attend a conference at this hotel. We also stayed here for three nights. The Westin offers some of the best amenities out of all hotel brands, the rooms were incredible with great views and it was directly connected to the Galleria Mall. Literally steps away from shopping or dining.

I was in town for Tx Frightmare and the rate for this hotel was great. Front desk was friendly not to mention drinks and snacks offered at check in, hotel room was clean. Everything is so convenient, a couple of things in the mall open early to accommodate hotel guests, was able to grab a starbucks and some breakfast from Corner Bakery. Fun trip.

I stayed at this hotel for a very quick work trip. Great property, was upgraded to the club floor which has a continental breakfast, coffee and a clean quiet space to enjoy in the am. Definitely recommend this property for work related trips.

I attended a charity auction on March 29, 2014 at this hotel and had my purse stolen from our table. The auction had ended, and we left the dining room for a few minutes. My husband returned to get my coat and purse from our table, and the dining room was being cleared by hotel staff. My jacket was left, but not my purse. We turned on the "Find My Phone" feature to locate the phone, which appeared to be behind the dining room and exiting out into the mall area. We set off the alarm feature to see if we could hear the phone while trying to locate it, and shortly after we were notified that the phone had been turned off. The phone was erased about an hour later after it was turned back on and attempted to be opened. My license and other items were taken along with the phone and purse. After speaking with organizers for the event, it appeared that at least 4 other individuals had their purses stolen from the dining room. While the managers were helpful in taking down our information, no one we encountered seemed too concerned about it. I was definitely disappointed in the action itself, but also disappointed in the lack of action taken by managerial staff.
