2+ years and didn't have an issue w/ not feeling safe. But I caution anyone planning on staying here — — Electricity is always suspiciously high i. E. 200+/month. They will nickel and dime you if you are not watching. The staff is young and inexperienced makes a ton of mistakes. Security is non-existent — — free parking if your attending a local venue i. E. Mavs or Stars or Jazz concert :-) When you move out — — they keep all the deposit even after you have the place professionally cleaned. I was expecting something from my 1000/ that I gave them for the service dog and apt dept. I got back ZERO. Office tends to be closed on holidays so if you're moving out on the 12/31 then expect to be charged for 2+ days when they 'receive' the keys. Very unscrupulous and unprofessional management. Don't stay here — — find a better place.

Northend is great! There's a community atmosphere that you don't normally find in Dallas.

I stayed here for 2 years and it was a awesome experience. There staff is really very nice and helping.

Moving to the US was super easy, just because the Northend team helped me to have a place to live since day one; Carrie and Alice are the best, but in general all the team is great, they are quick to solve problems, one day my building was out of water, they quickly managed the issue and setup a place to take showers.

Everyone is super friendly. Living there was an overall serene experience.

I would NOT recommend you to move into Northend. Their rent is far overpriced, and you can get a much nicer apartment for the same amount. The floors are cheap, the "wood" is easily scratched off by a moving chair, and the cabinets are shoddy. On top of that, I've been dealing with massive crickets coming into the apartment, and bugs due to the trash not being picked up. Yet I have had a TERRIBLE experience with the management team. I was planning on leasing for a second year with a new roommate when she backed out — AFTER applying for the apartment and getting accepted. Since she backed out, I needed to move out at the end of my lease. Yet since I had let management know I wanted to sign a new lease with a new roommate, I had "rescinded" my 60 day notice of leave and needed to turn in a new one, requiring me to pay another month's rent by myself for a two bedroom apartment (I never rescinded my 60 day notice). Realizing that I would rather take the hit in my bank account than my credit score by not paying the rent, I signed a lease (with a new leasing agency) to start after my new move out date. Only to be called by Northend on the date of my original move out date and asked why I hadn't turned in my keys! Apparently, I COULD HAVE MOVED OUT on the day I had wanted to, but NO ONE TOLD ME because NO ONE PUT THE EMAILS ON FILE.

This place is awesome. The property is well kept and Carrie made me feel at home. Looking forward to moving here.

If you are in need of a great apartment. North end is the place you should be looking at. Our experience was phenomenal! Carrie the leasing manager is so friendly and truly listens to what you are looking for in a place you want to call home. As we were getting ready to tour the community a young gentlemen greeted us & explained the amenities and the events offered. His positive energy aside from Carries were extra pluses. After tour the beautiful community & all they have to offer. Made it easier to select northend as our future home. A big influence was the way Carrie and the northend staff excelled & met the customer service we were looking for in a home. Where the staff truly care.

I have been staying from last 3 years and it has been a wonderful till now.

2 Stars! Use caution when renting from (Jefferson at) the Northend. My apartment is located near the entrance of the guarded gate. Every Thursday-Saturday night or night when there is a Mavs game, I can hear music and people talking from the adjacent clubs loudly in my party. (I literally can sing along. ) It is not so bad if the TV is on, but does keep me from falling asleep. I asked about this when I moved in and was told it was not a problem. There also is a whole building between mine and the AAC. Addtionally, the apartment is not willing to work with you when you move out. I work in a school and am having to move cities at the end of the school year. My lease expires five weeks before the end of the school year. They are requiring me to pay market rate of two extra months (no pro-rating the one week in June) as well as an additional $300 month-to-month fee despite giving them a 60 day notice. Be sure to know when you will move next! To add to this review, I had no stains on my carpet. I was charged $109 for carpet cleaning. You would think that they would do this between tenants anyway. I have rented different apartments for 12 years, moving every year to two years. I have never been charged for cleaning the carpet even though no stains were found. The apartments are beginning to get a bit run down as well.
