From the minute this Kindergarten Educator hit their doors, it was nothing but smiles, kindness and helpfulness! Great Rates and Rooms! Even when I had a catastrophe with the waffle maker, they were so gracious and made me smile. Everything that you can need, is in close proximity! There’s McDonalds, Sonic, both a Mexican restaurant and Steak house! There’s Walmart and
H-E-B, Whataburger, Jack In the Box and 2 Major gas stations!
As tired as I was (and being away from home didn’t help), their professionalism and hospitality made it a Peaceful Experience. I said that I would be back and I have… and will continue to do so. So long as the atmosphere that welcomes travelers and the landscape of people remains the same, I will happily call the LaQuinta in Columbus, Tx…

Customer service welcomed us with a friendly face, then when we got to our room it was very clean, we also got a phone call from the front desk to check if very thing in our room was ok & cleaned also asked if we need extra towels. Yes I would recommend this hotel to friends.

TV too hard to find channels. I stay in hotels all the time and I’ve never found a TV I couldn’t figure out. Plus they allow pets & I can hear dogs barking down the hall.

This is the best la quinta ive ever seen or stayed at… its clean, quiet, and modern! Love it.

This place is so clean, stylish and comfortable, wish we could have stayed more than one night. Recommend highly! They take pride in their accommodations and service!

Very nice staff! Our room was nice and clean. I'm all about walking in to a room and it smells clean and I was not disappointed in our stay definitely recommend.

Clean rooms & bedding, lots of hot water, quiet & a great free breakfast spread. Also they allow dogs & have good parking if you're pulling a trailer. We were driving from TX to GA & stopped here for the night, it was a great choice.

Nice amenities and hotel except hot tub was closed for renovations and pool was extremely cold! Wish they would have informed us of hot tub being closed. Other than that clean and friendly employees.

I love it. I'm on the road a lot, and this place is very clean. The rooms are big and comfortable.

Clean rooms friendly people at front desk. Only negative being so close to the elevator walls were constantly creaking.

Love this place! Great breakfast and clean quiet rooms to rest after a long road trip! For dinner try Nancy's across the street! Awesome … plain and simple! :)

The reason I gave a 2-star rating is because the front desk staff was very efficient, very hospitable. The room was lovely. However, speaking from personal experience, the Housekeeping Department cannot be trusted.

Had to stop over due to fog on the road. Very nice and clean. Good breakfast and cold rooms. Excellent maintenance for staff and check in. Keep up the good work.

Great staff, very courteous, and the breakfast wasn't just free, but good! Room was very clean and house keeping was on point. I'll be staying here next time I come to Columbus.

Excellent hotel of this class… seems like a newer property and kept extremely clean. Front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast area is spacious and one of the best I have experienced. Fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, oranges, apples, and bananas) in addition to all the other hot and cold items. This stay was during several events in town and they handled groups well. Parking is adequate with some overflow. I actually stayed here weekly for eight months. Many times I was upgraded to a suite which was very nice and spacious with microwave and fridge. I'll be back to this place and highly recommend to others when in the area.

Good quality, but on our 3rd morning there out of 4, we were told we never checked in and our booking was cancelled. It got resolved after some words with the manager but still pretty annoying to have to deal with.

I went to ask if a reservation was made in my name by Cr england co. The reception lady told no and I sat on the couch start calling my company all of a sudden officer walk on me and ask me for my id. I asked what happened he said he was Call by the hotel because I was suspicious. I asked the lady what I had done she said she was uncomfortable I have my Muslim hat and I’m black I didn’t knew which one played a bigger role anyway this is Busness they should expect anyone to walk in I’m out from the chain hotel. Wit la Quinta.

We stayed here because of a wedding. They had pretty good free breakfast and the rooms were clean. It was a little pricier than I would've liked but not outrageous. Would stay here again if I ever find myself back in Columbus TX.

They cancelled my suite reservation a day before my event after being booked a month in advance, almost had to sleep in the car because all other hotels were booked. Barely squeezed me into a last minute room. Didn't discount it, didn't comp it, they didn't even try to make their mistake right. Definitely won't be coming back to Columbus LA Quinta. EDIT: Changed my one star to three, just because the lady at the reception desk is an outstanding person. Thank you for having us mam.

Every time I come through Columbus I stay here @La Quinta Mrs. Nora front desk manager is always nice & very helpful with a beautiful smile.

The location is right off the highway. Room was clean. Free Wi-Fi. Bed was slightly uncomfortable. Perfectly fine for the cost.

This is a very nice place. But there's something that I didn't like and as a worker I understand we're all humans and we all the same and we all treated equally but today I heard something that I hated I heard the manager she was treating one of the housekeepers really bad I have no idea what was about but for sure I know if the hotel is clean is all because of the housekeepers that do a really good job and there's no need for her to be talking to them like that because she's another worker in there and one thing the housekeepers should get paid more than her because they do most of the job there by keeping the hotel nice in clean just for us. The manager that was before she was a really nice person and she knew how to treat the workers and the guest. Good Job Housekeepers only!

La Quinta hotels still offer the best rooms at a very reasonable price. You just can't argue with La Quinta's lack of prejudice towards pets and late sleepers! Many times I've checked​ rates in a city I'm traveling to, and l see the competition (who largely seem to prefer to turn down pets and deny their customers those important little things better businesses should provide…) for the same price or more. No, La Quinta is the best for the money.

The location was very convenient for my wife and I while we were traveling across the country. The room was extremely nice and cozy. The hotel also allowed us to have our pet free of cost which was a huge plus. My only complaint was that my car, along with several others, were broken into and somehow no one noticed or heard any of the car alarms go off. I fully understand that the hotel is not liable for the items left in guests vehicles in the parking lot, but it was just strange to see that many vehicles get broken into unnoticed. Additionally, it seemed little to nothing was done in regards to the inconvenience. Luckily nothing that was taken from my vehicle was of great value (hope the person enjoyed a bag of pennies/nickels as well as some napkins) besides having to drive 4 hours away to get my window replaces.

People were so nice! Pet friendly! Indoor hot tub and pool. Awesome gym. Definitely worth the splurge (for my family). Wanted to check out a little later than noon but no late check out option which was a bummer. Will be back!

This is the only place we will stay when we go see the grandbaby. The people are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are great and breakfast is always good. Reasonable prices.

This hotel was very nice and clean. We stayed here for a tournament in Sealy and after reading reviews of other hotels, I am VERY glad that I chose this hotel.

Best hotel I've had trust me the best room is on the 3 floor room 318 pros is no bed bugs or fleas the water pressure was medium not rough or to soft lady at the lobby was so nice and was not rude also I'm not a fake review.

Got a free room upgrade to a king suite! Stayed here before, nice and quiet. Next to a sonic and McDonald's in case you need something to munch on.

Great customer service and convenient location next to I-10. The breakfast was amazing and the internet was also very fast. I would stay here again.

Came in late at night (2 am) to rent a room to get off the road. Even at that hour, the front counter worker was very helpful. Would stop my road trip back home to prevent falling asleep on the road there anytime.

My husband was driving 800 miles in one day and he had a reservation for a late arrival at the hotel. For some reason the GPS did not guide him to the proper address. I tried to call the hotel to find out which Interstate exit the hotel is located on. I tried twice and no one answered. The third time, a very sleepy sounding woman answered the phone and she had no idea what exit the hotel she works in is located at. I found out she is a brand new employee and I fault the hotel for failing to provide proper training. Giving directions is basic knowledge. Needless to say, my husband cancelled his reservation and spent the night across the street.

By far the best hotel I have stayed in! Beyond clean, friendly staff, amazing comp breakfast, great indoor pool. The staff was amazing and very helpful. They definitely deserve recantation for all their hard work, even the men who worked on the grounds to keep them clean and beautiful.

Great place to stay. It was a last minute choice but we definitely do not regret. Clean with a great breakfast selection. If we are in the area again, I would definitely stay here.

5 Stars all the way. The staff aims to please without a doubt. There is no Pet Fee if you are traveling with your 4 legged friend. The room and Hotel overall was clean as a whistle. House keeping is very accommodating when you need extra toilette items. The breakfast bar has a wider selection than most of your Inns. The cookies are baked fresh daily and disappeared quickly among the guests. The front desk offered milk for the cereal even in the late evening hours. Kuddos to the the staff for going the extra mile! This hotel is on my favorite list when traveling along I10! I will certainly be back.

Horrible experience, this hotels driveway damaged one of the wheels on my vehicle. There is no warning sign posted about the curb they call a driveway and the property manager / owner refused to talk with me directly about the inncident. The TVs are small compared to the corporate run LQ's that use the 42" LGs, the ones in this hotel were off brand 25". The towels stunk, the work out equipment was sub par, everything about this hotel is cheap, including the owner who was too much of a coward to discuss the details of the situation with me on the phone. Avoid this place at all costs, but if you can't and you have a car that sits low to the ground, be very careful pulling into this establishment as it could damage your vehicle and the ownersship will not take responsibility for it. If you click more photo's you can see pictures of the damaged driveway I uploaded.

I pulled over on the way back to San Antonio due to heavy fog. OMG! This place was awesome! It was clean, quiet, peaceful and pleasant. I didn't want to go the next day but I had too. The staff was great and so was the continental breakfast.
