Love this place. The location is perfect right next to the river walk. Beautiful view of down town, close to everything in walking distance. Staff are so helpful and nice. Rooms are beautiful here. We stay at Wyndhams all over, this one is my top 5 place across the United States to stay.

The staff was great amazing! Valet was on point each time. The only suggestion I would make is to get a few umbrellas by the pool side.

The staff meets you at the car when you arrive and they help you pack your car to leave. The friendliest staff and best customer service hands down. Inez and Juan went above and beyond with the extra help and guidance we needed as well 😉

Wonderful rooms but had the Presidential Suite and their “tours” for buying in were constant loudness in hallway, banging doors. Like spring break at Daytona Beach! Every 5 minutes a new group! The buy in tour guides were disrespectful and RUDE! Worst 6 day stay somewhere ever!

I was just visiting some close friends while I was in the hotel when I decided to use a vending machine but the machine didn't despense a drink. So I told the next staff member I saw and he was so nice he went above and beyond and reimburse me for my drink out of his own pocket. I was greatly appreciative of his generous gesture. This kind of customer service is what will make it easy to choose to stay at this hotel. Thank you Terrence for your excellent customer service and making the difference.

My wife and I decided to come in for a time share presentation while we were in town for the Tony Bennett concert. We actually had a good experience overall, the representative was courteous and did not push us into anything beyond our comfort level. We did experience a female sales manager who appeared a bit unhinged and not too happy when she couldn't convince us too purchase a time share. The hotel itself was very clean, the 4 types of rooms we saw were very nicely laid out, with great views of downtown. We strongly will consider staying here through one means or another in the near future.

The location of the resort is a bit out of the way compared to where all the shopping areas and restaurants are, but it isn't too far away. The room I'm staying in is extremely spacious, and the furniture — including beds — is lavish and comfortable. As for the resort service, it's decent, but like any other hotel the workers try selling off timeshares and other surrounding area features.

We stayed here September of last year and everything was great. We just got back from a week stay and this time it wasn't as good. We were on the 7th floor and all night we had noise coming from a few rooms down. Teenaged kid's wrestling in the hallway and just acting like they were raised in the wild. Incredibly disrespectful to those who had to listen to it. However I don't hold this against the resort, I hold the parents responsible for not raising respectful kid's. They… do need to start doing random checks on the pool area. There's a lot of people leaving tash behind, dirty towels, children in after its supposed to be adults only and A LOT of horseplay by kid's when the pool isnt that big nor very deep. It was hard to enjoy the pool the week we stayed due to this. I don't know how you could do this but I feel a policy needs put in place where people are charged extra for leaving trash behind, being excessively loud past a certain time. Also a reminder to those individuals staying here: Have respect for other guests and the property. It's not your house so leave it better than you found it. You make a mess clean it up. Keep the noise to a minimum. It's not a lot to ask of you or hard to do!

Nice hotel, would be awesome if they had a bar. Lovely rooms! Pool is small but nice place to hang out. Surprisingly close to the main part of downtown if you walk on the street and don't go through the river walk.

La Cascada is beautiful. It is within walking distance to all things fun as well as great food. The view of the river and the sound of the water is relaxing & calming. The Staff is amazing! I really have to give props to your staff they beat all the other Wyndham properties we have stayed at in customer service & hospitality! Great job everyone!

Breakfast buffet was wonderful, but rooms were below my expectations. The double room was small, bland, had a cracked tile in restroom and didn't provide a refrigerator. I considered it quite a bit below parr for the price. The girl at the front desk acted like she was too busy to answer a simple question, even though no one else was around needing help at all.

Loved all the help I got while there. So many. Have great rooms and staff was the best possible.

I just stayed at this property. I am not an owner, just booked it at the nightly rate. Very nice room, nice pool area. The property is a little off from the main area of the Riverwalk, about a ten minute walk to the restaurants and boat rides. My main complaint is how hard the property is pushing timeshare sales. The "concierge desk" is just pushing you to attend a sales talk. They even called our room at least four times (when we were there) to try to get us to attend a sales talk. During the day the elevators were full of people taking tours. All of this was annoying. I would find a different place to stay next time.

This is a great property that is within walking distance of so many great sites. We had a suite with two rooms which was very spacious. Our best find was the Rathskeller Bar that is in the basement Hermann Sons Life building which also houses the oldest automated bowling alley in Texas. It's like stepping into your grandparents basement! Small selection of beer and wine ($2.50 & $3.00) cash only bar, darts, pool table, and beer pong. We have ended every night there! It's basically behind the hotel across the river, only a 3 min walk away… highly recommend going there!

We went to tour the isnstalacion. It was my beautiful. The employees were great.

I had booked like two months ago thru my timeshare for Memorial Weekend and just few days before check in they canceled my reservation. They Tried to relocate me to another city. Should have told me ahead of time rather than the week of. Never had that happen to me and it will not happen again, not with this resort anyways.

I was touring the facilities. Very nice elegant place. I liked it offered a bathroom for every bedroom. The kitchens are gourmet style. Located in the heart of everything. Pricey! Great looking vacation resorts throughout the country.

The accomodations are great. Close to the river walk, clean suites, pool and hot tub was nice. Only problem was the constant vacation club sales pitch that makes you want to avoid the front desk. They even called the room a couple times. If you can get passed that, your golden to stay here.

Beautiful suites that reminds you of Spanish homes! Fully equipped kitchen, spacious rooms and sitting area with some units having stunning views. We got the riverwalk view and was beautiful.

The Manager of the sales office is rude, condescending, and I would rather sit through dental surgery than sit through a Wyndham sales pitch — pity for them, as I was actually interested in their offer. Apparently, my marriage is doomed to fail, because in her opinion, my husband and I can't identify things we like to do together… that, or its none of their business.

Very comfortable. Right on the Riverwalk within walking distance to downtown. Would have preferred to not pay for parking, but it is in a big city.

This hotel was excellent! From the concierge to the front desk staff, this place is on top of their 5-star service. I had the balcony room which was very nice and clean! Just be careful where you park, because it does cost for you to park at this hotel, but they have a designated parking area and you must get a tag from concierge to place on your dashboard. I would definitely recommend this resort for its service, comfort and price.

This place was awesome… This place supposed to be 5star hotel… I like all hausekeeper front desk… Their do really good job. Give you guys 10/10

Love this place. Close walking distance to everything. Eat in or out. Bring leftovers back. Staff is wonderful. Pool, shuffleboard, foosball, chess in lobby. Games behind the counter. Rooftop pools. It was great. Great City. Very close to the end of the ghost tour.

Location is great. Short walking distance to mall or can catch the shuttle. Love seeing the fire works on new years, great view from pool deck. I WOULDN'T recommend going 2 a meeting, u end up wasting ur precious time.

Nice hotel with good amenities. Good location close enough to the river walk to walk there. The outdoor pool is heated and was nice during our winter stay.

Stayed here as a guest of an "owner". The rooms were nicely finished, pool and hot tub were heated and open in the winter. Location is close enough to River Walk to get everywhere including the Alamo on foot. Don't accept the invitation for sales pitch, it actually takes 3hrs and the sales staff gets aggravated with you if you don't buy. Had a bad experience with Danny who was extremely rude to myself and friends.

First and foremost ism an artist/painter I was at an event showing my art, food was the best fresh cold shrimp cocktail and fried oysters the rooms were homely comfortable nice.

It was wonderful. It had many amenities and was very clean. I just wish I visited in the summer. My family loved the place.

Since we had not attended a sales meeting in a long time and was considering upgrading, we went to one that was a promised one hour. We were there for three hours. Also those locks between the hot tub room and the bathrooms have got to go. They are awful. I could never get them open.

Wonderful accommodations, friendly resort staff, great location. I don't recommend attending a sales or owner update ("sales") presentation though. Jeff came to our room to do a survey and was very friendly. But when we wanted more information about something he mentioned, his trainer got involved and tried to tell us he wasn't a sales person. Long story short, he was. 1.5 hours later after trying to get him to cut to the chase, we finally get the bottom line of what he's trying to sell and we decline and leave. That's the only unpleasant part of the weekend though. We love coming here for everything else it offers.

This review is specific to a single employee that truly dampened my opinion of the experience. Having stayed at the La Cascada and having assisted family members in staying there, previous experiences were pleasant and welcoming. However, as a Club Wyndham owner that actually lives in San Antonio, I attempted to engage the concierge for assistance establishing some reservations. This was offered on previous stays and assured that I could ask in the future. When I asked Debbie for assistance, she came across as dismissive and rude. She first stated that if I was not currently staying at the resort, she could not assist. Then she stated that I would have to drive to the resort if I wanted assistance in making the reservation. The treatment made me feel as if I am not valued as a Club Wyndham owner unless directly spending at this location.

Beware they called me for their promotion saying just to visit their hotel and provide feedback… in return they offered me 7 nights package and promised no catch. When I reached there they offered me to sign 100k membership and answer in yes or no in just few minutes so I choose to say no… after they started literally humiliating me like some some street side vendors… that too in front of my kid. This is disgusting… just wanted to make you all aware if you ever get these kind of offer from them.

Very nice place to stay. Nice rooms full size stove and fridge in our unit. Good view of downtown San Antonio. Only gripe is street parking or use their valet service so finding a spot can be difficult. It's walking distance to the Riverwalk.

Staying with family in 3 Bedroom Presidential unit for a week. So far the place is right on the river within a few blocks of all of the Riverwalk attractions. The unit is nice with plenty of room. Most of the beds in our unit are firm, but not uncomfortable. There are a few minor issues in the unit, like a leaky kitchen faucet and the door to the balcony is difficult to close and lock. To be fair, we've only been here a day and a half of our week long stay and we've been too busy to call and get someone up to fix those issues. So overall so far things have been good. If things change the rest of this week I'll update this review.

I would give this hotel a better rating if we had not been pressured by the sales lady to attend their sales presentation, we somehow were talked into a 30 minute presentation, but we had to give a $20 deposit, in order to get a $50 gift card to pay for parking… we were told we would get the $20 back. We ended up not being able to attend because of Hurricane Irma. We needed to get going on our last day earlier than planned to beat the storm. All in all they kept the $20.00. The room itself was nice and clean. The beds were firm. If we had known about the sales pitch we would have chosen a different hotel. Our time is more important!

Beautiful! Loved this Wyndham. Trick of the trade? Request a high floor — the views of San Antonio are amazing, and the breeze on the balcony is wonderful. The pool? Just wow. On the 6th floor with a "rooftop lounge" feel, the views and breeze match what I mentioned above. It's only a couple blocks away from the river walk so it's pretty well placed too.

Lovely timeshare resort. Very relaxed and comfortable area, too… kind of a little bit out of the way of the downtown hustle and bustle, but still close enough to get to easily. All the staff we have encountered have been very helpful, professional, and so courteous! Nice amenities (outdoor pool, hot tub, etc) and rooms themselves very comfortable, clean, and very well appointed. Free shuttle bus to most of the popular downtown attractions available, too, but there is a fee for the valet parking (normal price range for the area, so not a surprise or problem). We will definitely be back!

I love the rooms, they are comfortable, well equipped and clean. The staff has all been great from valet and check-in to the sales staff (we attended the vacation ownership meeting and they offered to have us buy but we declined. It's not for us right now. Be aware there is a few to park ($15 a day). I knew there was a charge before I arrived. It's close to the River walk but on the quieter side of things and a shuttle service is provided for area Attractions.

It is a hotel of first the suite in which I ospede was of luxury of three bedrooms each one with bathrooms complete dining room and kitchen all the rooms have television and the room includes an audio system Bose and it was all well clean.

The check in staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and went over and above any check in experience I've ever had. If I didn't already have timeshare credit here, I would still choose to stay here. Our room was beautiful. Super comfy full kitchen, king bed, balcony, Jaccuzz I bathtub fo two, and our riverview and city view were gorgeous. Very happy and would recommend to others.

We take our grandchildren here for vacation. The hotel is very family oriented and it feels like coming home every time we stay here. The pool area is nice! The rooms are clean and the hotel is situated on the river walk. We love to visit here and recommend it to everyone!

The location is great. A short walk gets you right to the river walk. Beautiful hotel with a nice lobby (TV, tables with checkers, pool table, and friendly staff). The rooms are some of the nicest I've stayed at. Full kitchen with all the amenities you could ask for. There is a washer and dryer, TV in every room, large beds, large balcony, nice pool. Would definitely recommend if you just want to lounge around during your stay.

Our family enjoyed a non-traditional Christmas as guests at the La Cascada resort in San Antonio. The suites were spacious, clean and comfortable. Every staff member we had dealings with were courteous and several went above and beyond in order to accommodate our requests. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Everything was perfect. Great customer service, great location and the our 2 bedroom suite was spacious for 5 adults and 1 child. We had a great vacation and will definitely book again. Btw the bed was so comfortable and it was nice to wake up and not have my back ache. Thanks for spoiling my family.
