A very nice, clean large room… The hotel is well run with professional management. A very affordable rate. Indoor pool, lovely old fashioned style lobby. I stay there whenever I'm in the area. Clyde with BoatTransport.

The staff was so friendly & helpful! Family size room was huge and very nice and well kept. This is one of the best if not my Super 8 we have stayed in.

I absolutely love this place. My room is perfect, I hate that we can't really have visitors, but the lady at the front desk is very understanding, and extremely nice.

The ripped us off charged me two times and didn't tell me about a deposit hold now I'm standard in Oklahoma those idiots womt realise my money.

My husband and Me stay in the room, 123 the staff no left toilet paper my husband ask for and the young guy said he gone call the police just for ask for toilet paper something stupid from him maybe he think we are illegal but his wrong. We here out of the state we are here for work. I hope the owner do something about it the room wasn't free we paid for it. Thanks.

Moldy shower, empty pool, all ice machines broken, flat hard pillows, all light fixtures and plumbing was hanging on by a thread. Plastic over a smoke detector. Price was good but not worth it.

I was so happy to find this haven at the end of a long day on the road. Hot water, cool sheets, and a great breakfast! The owner was very attentive to details. It was clean and so comfortable!

Sheets are old, old and dingy. Towels were dirty, soiled. Wascloths were fifthy and got clean when in water. Hair all over bathroom floor. Pillows were black with soil under the pillowcaase. Could hardly stay at this place, but checked in too late to find another place.

The room was very spacious, but some things needed to be changed. The carpets we're raggety, the sinks all had hard water stains, there was hair in the tub and around the sink that was not mine, there was a child's band-aid stuck on the mirror, the wallpaper was peeling. The beds we're hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows were flat. If the hotel would pay attention to some minor details, the room would be worth the money spent.

Room was beautiful, clean and very relaxing I will definitely stop here.

A super Super 8, with large rooms and a great Chinese food place right behind it. Stay here every time we go through the area.

Check was easy and convenient. Running business well. Room was huge and clean. Staff was fun.

This facility was very nice. It seemed relatively new. We got a great price on our room, and it was spacious and comfortable. I would have liked for it to be a little cleaner. There was a piece of sticky candy on the dresser, and the vanity had an area that didn't get cleaned. Over all it was a great place to stay, and I would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly staff… needs updating the room had very clean bed but the top cover was ripped and the couch had several holes in it with springs broke. Other than being dated and worn it was a nice peaceful and super clean room. We would stay again. Also if you have children the indoor pool was not heated when we stayed in the summer and was really cold. The Singh was very friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable. We got a relatively new suite with separate seating area from beds. Toilet and tub/shower had their separate room from vanity. Front desk personnel very friendly. Standard Super 8 breakfast fare. Overall, a nice stay.

June 14, 2017 my brother and I were on our home to Kansas from a vacation in Calif and our last night on the road we stayec here. The front desk lady was an absolute doll, she was very welcoming and funny and we enjoyed her laugh as well. She offered us a suite at a reasonable price, the beds were comfortable and the towels were fresh. The drapes had some tears that when I woke up the outside lighting made it look like a "happy face". The following morning we were up early and the same sweet lady was setting up breakfast. We joked about spending the night. The location of the motel was odd but easy off and easy on highway even with the construction. Sending a big thank you.

The room smelled and was clean. The customer service was awesome and accommodated our needs. It had a great fridge with a big TV. Overall I recommend this place if you need to stay in Amarillo. O yeah nice breakfast to.

We were given a lower level room. The room had a musty smell. When we entered the bathroom the ceiling was falling down. Water was only tepid for showering. On top of that, we were charged almost $10 more than what we had booked on line for. I know that is a corporate issue and not local but it still made for an unpleasant experience.

You get what you pay for in this sense. Staff was lovely but just wish the room was clean and didn't smell like dirty cooch. Door on the side was broke. (which is supposed to be locked if you have a key) Lots of maintenance needs to be done. But it was decent.

Stayed there on recommendation from coworker but the rooms have a strong stench of stale cigarettes. Didnt see any bed bugs but bed felt "scratchy. " Worst of all, they charged me for 1 night plus they put an "authorization" hold on my card for $70+ on top of the room charge! Even though I only stayed one night, they snuck in an extra night charge the very next day, even though we'd moved to a different hotel. Very sneaky and giving me the runaround about how they have to research and blah, blah, blah. Stay away!

Really sad that a nice place on the outside was so bad on the inside. The wall plug by the bed didn't work. Sure makes it hard to plug up a CRAP machine. We had to go to the front desk to get, hand towels, soap, shampoo, toilet and tissue paper, along with hand towel. The breakfast bar cold cereal containers were all but empty. The desk clerk was a very sweet lady and apologetic.

It was good enough got some good sleep. The staff was cheerful and having a good time so it seamed. Was up before 5am getting breakfast ready for her customers. Would of gave more stars, the room was pretty beat up.

Room is clean but smelly. Easy check in and Latisha at the front desk is amazing! She went above and beyond. Hope her employer reads this cause he needs to keep her happy. Thank you Latisha. I give you 5 stars and the room 3.

1 star because they were open. Door had been kicked in at some point and lock had been partially replaced, leaving a large hole in door. Second lock was still broke off and you could see right in to my room from the hall. Room was filthy, window sills had not been wiped down in years spiders everywhere. I was so tired from driving 15 hours I had no energy to go to another hotel so I moved the dresser in front of the door to block the hole and add some sense of security. In the morning when I was asked how my stay was I told the woman the door had a hole and no locks so I moved dresser to cover, her only response was did you put the furniture back where it was? No concern for my safety whatsoever. This is without a doubt, the dirtiest hotel I have ever stepped foot in. Had I known there were 2 other Super 8's down the road I would have passed this one up no matter how tired I was. Stay away from this filthy dump!

I showed up here late at night after a long drive. I didn't care where I was staying because I was so tired from driving. I drove around the back of the building because from the direction I came from this place was hard to find. I went in to the front counter and asked for a room, the lobby was not much to look at things seemed tired and worn out. I received my room key which came much cheaper than I expected and went up to my room. To my great surprise the room was large and very clean as well as it was maintained. The king bed was comfortable the only complaint I really had was the very sad looking chair in the room. I few other things I noticed was the horrible system that managed the TV access ran so slow I didn't even want to use it, that is not much of a fault on the behalf of them as is whoever provides them with that poor service. The tile in the bathroom looked as though an inexperienced child laid it but again all was very clean and well maintained. When I went to check out in the morning I again was surprised to find that they actually had a warm breakfast which wasn't terrible especially the waffle machine. The price was very affordable and very worth stopping in for a place to take a break from the long Texas roads. I plan on stopping here on my way back through and think they would do well for anybody just needing some down time from the road.

My future father in law booked us a room for 2 days so we could come for Christmas and considering what was spent for 2 nights, it's not bad. The night clerk is very nice, you can smell the bleach in the sheet, and she hasn't gotten upset with us asking for extra pillows and such. It's not the high style, but it's clean and we haven't had anything to complain about. I have traveled a lot too, so I've seen bad. I would definitely stay here again if the we needed to.

I woke up covered in bed bug bites! I was in room 228, the infested bed nearest the window. Beware! Way Overpriced outdated rooms as well but bed bugs took my experience down to a whole other level!

Not worth your money very dirty rooms. Small Hairs left behind in the shower. The place is worn out and they charge too much for a worn out suite. I changed from one room to the other with my kids and it was still a dirty room. No parking space left. Some bolts on the lamps were missing. Check out time was at 11 not 12 like most other places and the guy was rude he just came in he couldve atleast knocked. Not worth your money. I've been to better cheaper places. Very dirty and worn out 2bedroom with a small living room and sink for $114 not coming to this place again.

Room was huge, but we immediately found a huge bedbug. We went back to the desk and said NOPE!

We were charged about 20% more than the advertised price, and when queried we were told we would get a credit — IT NEVER HAPPENED. We just had the feeling the management wanted as much money from us as possible, and give no service. In brief sharp practice and NOT TO BE RECOMENDED.

Will not stay here ever again. They started knocking on the door at 11am then calling. Then checking out at only 12, I got the 3rd degree on why checking out so late. Then the guy told me he would not charge me this time for staying over an hour. I have always checked out an hour late at any other hotel and never treated like this.

The staff was courteous and friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. The king size bed I slept in was very comfortable and for a one night stay it was an excellent experience for the price. I highly recommend this Super 8 hotel.

While we stay at Super 8 frequently when we travel, we were not prepared for the experience of having a 2 bed suite with hide-a-bed couch. The room was so SPACIOUS and was perfect for 3 adults and 2 small children! The room was clean and staff very friendly. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Not the worst hotel condition I've seen but not decent either. Cigarette burns on bed spread and bathtub, carpet coming up, lamp broken, beat up furniture, stale smoke odor in hallway, sketchy neighborhood. But for a contractor not a bad place at all. Lots of space in the room. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Towels and sheets clean. As a single guy, traveling, low budget, I'm fine with it.

I was 3 years ago and the whole net actually, if man is just passing through, central must be close to the steak house.

Clean, comfortable, safe. Would stay here again. The room was huge, more like a small suite, like an Extended Stay. Bed was comfortable. The room has seen some wear, but is clean. The TV is an ugly CRT that appears to have been dropped a couple times; it is in the way, but it works. The Wi-Fi is solid. Didn't use the pool, but they have one. There is a washer and drier on site, which appears to work. Due to the frontage road, it can be a bit confusing on how to get to the hotel the first time. However, it was comfortable and felt safe. The staff I did interact with here at least courteous, and one was downright friendly. We had no issues with our service dog except for the usual "do you have paperwork" prompt so common in the South and Southwestern states. Would come again.

Are you kiding me? These other posts are obviously from the owners. Outdated rooms, bedbugs in the worn out cushions, furniture falling apart, and the typical rudeness encountered from the foreign managers.

Maybe the best Super 8 I have stayed in. Big suite rooms, clean, AC/Heater works good, fans will run all the time. Even Royal Cup Coffee served. Friendly helpful staff. Clean rooms and close to several good eating places.
