Really nice hotel with huge suites.

We stayed during the holidays. It was not a good experience, we had AirPods stolen out of our room while we were out. They didn’t bother cleaning, just took the bathroom trash, spilled water on the nightstand and left with the AirPods. I have reached out numerous times hoping to get some kind of response and here we are, still waiting. This is a hotel that our out of town family have used for years, I can’t say that we will book again. I understand, things happen, what’s unforgivable, is being totally ignored.

Nice and clean. Short stay didn’t use amenities.

We attempted to stay here, but ended up leaving. We discovered bed bugs after we had gotten into bed. We have never had an experience like this. It was so disgusting!

Had reservation for a room this evening. Got to the hotel and apparently the cleaning staff had quit. Offered us a room which was not cleaned. Yes I’m being serious. On duty management did not even attempt to help us locate other accommodations at another hotel. Poor service very unhappy after driving 8 hours across Texas today.

They allowed all 4 of my dogs to stay with me for just $30…. Most places charge per dog & a lot more money. Highly recommend this hotel. Definitely give a 5 star rating. There was 5 ppl & 4 dogs. We go a pull out bed & was given the sheets & blanket for it promptly. The bathroom was amazing & the room was huge & was very accommodating to my 4 large dogs which most ppl turn away cuz of there size but I’m moving to Colorado & had to stop for a break… again I highly recommend this place.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This place is a joke. 12 people, including ourselves, waited to be checked in at the lobby for over an hour. The one staff member that was there was brand new and has no idea what they were doing. None of the managers were present and/or reachable. We tried to contact the owner directly multiple times and when they finally picked up they told us that, "they had guests and were busy" and then hung up on us right after that. We did reach a manager eventually only for them to tell us that someone would be there in several hours to get things figured out. We finally decided to go next door to Candlewood Suites (highly recommend. Very friendly staff and very accommodating even though we checked in last minute). I have traveled a lot and have never experienced anything like this before at any other hotel, let alone an established brand like comfort suites. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Pool closed, carpet in room was obviously not vacuumed. Absolutely no bedding in the room for the sofa bed. Only one person working, went down to get the bedding myself and only received a top and bottom sheet, NOTHING ELSE. No blanket, no pillows, no mattress pad — and believe me, after opening the bed and seeing all the yellow stains on the mattress, I wanted a mattress pad! Will probably not book a room here again.

Everything was good and the service was amazing.

This place was great! very clean and nice! super quiet and very modern looking! great price and not a wallet breaker. I travel a lot and got to say that this hotel is where you wanna stay. You wont be disappointed.

The first room did not have working heat and maintenance could not fix it. Was 46 degrees outside and not much warmer inside! the second room had heat (possibly too much! ), microwave was missing, and the fridge was radiating heat! so far the third room seems okay…
3 hours later, the room we are in was given to a new party checking in. We're about to crawl into bed and they just walk in!

My car broke down on my drive back to Colorado, I had both my dogs with me! No problem getting a room here, Amanda was so helpful and sweet! Highly recommend and will be back!

We checked in late and after a very long car ride all my kids wanted to do was go swimming. Amanda was great with my kids and told them they could swim for an extra hour past time the pool close time! She was super friendly and eager to please. The room was clean, the pull out couch and chair needed a deep cleaning, but everything else was clean.
We had a queen suite and each side of the bed was against the wall which was odd, but we made it work. The bed itself was on the firmer side but soft, but my pillow was amazing!
Andrew from the night shift was friendly and chatted while I drank coffee at 6AM.
The breakfast was standard, but all the basics were covered. The regular coffee was similar to McDonald's which is how I like mine, but there was also a bold flavor.
Overall, I would book again if in Amarillo.

Shana rocked the house, she was professional at all times. All the staff were awesome and treated my wife and I with great respect. I highly recommend this business.

Nice large clean rooms. The hotel feels ‘new’ and cared for. Reasonable prices too.

Everything was clean but the only complaint that I have was the front desk person did not seem thrilled to be there and wait on customers. Very easy to locate off the 40 when driving thru. The room is very spacious with comfy beds and the a/c worked fantastic.

Great room w comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast seemed a little understaffed as there was only one person working and nearly every chair stayed occupied. Consequently, fruit wasn't fresh, & they were out of a few things. Not the workers fault, they need more help. But who knows, someone may have called in sick. I would definitely stay here again.

My family was very pleased with this hotel. It was very clean, with spacious rooms. The AC was cold and the breakfast was good. The mattresses were new and firm, but not too firm. They were a good in between and very comfortable. Also the hotel staff was pleasant even though we arrived in the dead of night. They were also willing to show me the ingredients of the breakfast items as I have food allergies. I would definitely stay here again.

Recently hosted an reunion and I had booked reservations for the conference room over a year and a half ago. Even up to the day of my banquet they had no record of any deposits, the GM lacked a lot of concern as well as most of the staff. They also screwed up the block of rooms for reservations and wanted to cancel all the rooms that had already been reserved using my reunion code. Due to the fact of them not having any records of my family using their credit cards to reserve… their room. Also, they failed to give my guest confirmation of stay via email and over the phone. The one room had no air conditioning, as well as toilet flushing issues. I felt as if myself and cousin had to guide this hotel staff in the right direction as to how to give customer service as well as to the GM. I would not recommend anyone to do business here, unprofessional from GM to a few staff members.

We are considered Gold Members with Choice hotels. We used our points for a free room. Room was big enough for us and 2 grandtrs. Pool was cloudy. The bed smelled like corn chips. We don't eat corn chips. At 1:30 am, my husband called the front desk to ask that someone quiet the people and their TV. Breakfast was horrible. The orange juice tasted like water. The hot food was cold by the time you sat down at your table. Very disappointed with wasting our points on a bad experience. Will not stay at this place again.

Terrible experience. I was given two dirty rooms and finally got a clean room on third attempt. We had to drag our bags around on three different floors. This made us late to eat with our friends. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Manager did not try to make it right. Just excuses.

Amazing rooms! Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Most comfy bed ever in a hotel! Finishing touch was the Model A Ford in front!

I stay here often. The hotel itself is nicer when comparing other choice hotels. I would rate it at the highest end for choice. Additional pluses are the ease of access to the interstate and all the food choices near by. The only thing I complain about is the internet. It’s 2018 people 1.1 MB’s is trash. But other than that I do enjoy my stays.

Such a wonderful place to stay, very clean, very good pressure in shower, employees very neat and willing to help you and the price is right. We stay at comfort suites with are travels and love it.

So we came to stay here for 3 nights and here's why my review is 1 star. We had two rooms, one had a bathroom with a toilet seat that wasn't screwed on all the way and smelled like sewer all three days, the other room had a broken deadbolt lock. We asked them all three days to fix the seat, the smell, and the lock and they did nothing about it. On the third day when we came back after a long day, both rooms weren't cleaned at all. No new towels, sheets, or anything. Smell still present, lock still missing, and toilet seat still unstable. Upon request to have our bathroom fixed, the staff didn't really seem to be too concerned about the issue and told us that they would get it fixed but obviously did not do it. Overall it was disappointing to come back to our rooms untouched when we even requested to have our bathroom fixed. I don't think the staff here really knows what they are doing professionally and I don't think that they really care. When you walk into the rooms on your first day they sure do seem pretty great with how big and nice they seem but the service is pretty crummy.

Very nice room. But I have asked twice for them to come turn on the heater for the pool and hot tub. It’s going on 10 AM. The pool opens at 8 AM. You would think that they would have it ready before it opens.

The room was big and spacious. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was pretty good. And the hotel was very clean!

The hotel looks nice and up to date, but several details were missing in the cleaning. 1) a dried wash cloth was still hanging from the shower head, 2) one towel was not replaced before we got there, 3) shampoo bottle was not replaced, so there was none, 4) the soap bar at the sink also was not replaced. Items 2 through 4 are minor details on their own, but combined together and with is a sign of either not caring or completely distracted cleaning. Not sure what else wasn't thoroughly cleaned that we couldn't see. On the plus side, breakfast was above par for similarly priced hotels.

Nice new facility. Near restaurants and shopping. Friendly staff. Typical breakfast. Seemed as though management wasn't quite on top of it though. Ice machines out of order, poorly stocked vending, pool out of order. Would come back though.

I've stayed here several times when traveling. It's in a great location, easy access to nearby restaurants and bars. Clean and spacious rooms at a reasonable price. They also allow pets! It's a perfect place to stop for the night if you're traveling across country.

Please do NOT stay here! I stayed here for my birthday May 2017 and was experiencing room issues and I had a reservation for 3 nights and they had me checking out every morning. My card keys never worked and even my brothers truck got broken into. Upon checking out, the front desk lady offered to comp my stay. Then Nov 2017 the hotel decided to charge my card for the stay. I called the hotel and the lady I spoke to just yelled at me and told me that they ran my card there was nothing I can do about it. The lady that offered the comp stay was no longer working there so she said there is no proof that I was comped the stay. I called my card company and they opened a claim and eventually ended up in my favor. Then in Dec 2017 the hotel ran my card again for the stay and this time I had asked to speak to the Manager who I believe is named Sunil or Suril and he was completely inappropriate. He told me many times that it was not his fault I was broke and looking for a handout and that I was too poor to pay my bills. He said I was like every person in this country who wastes money on hamburgers and ice cream and doesn’t want to pay their own bills. Instead of helping me figure out what went wrong, he yelled and made fun of me. I told him he was completely unprofessional and I would like to speak to someone else and he told me to look for them my self because he was no longer going to help me and to stop looking for free stuff.

This was a great hotel my king suite was perfect and bed was very comfortable I will be staying here on my next visit to Amarillo! Thank you staff for your hospitality!

Front desk staff left much to be desired. She was rude and seemed as if her job was a struggle. However, the manager was more than accommodating to our needs for the TV to be fixed and an extra pillow for the night. The room was nice and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Never heard any noise from other guests, traffic, etc. The only annoying thing was, we had the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door and the I heard the housekeeper try to open the door anyway. Location, location, location! This place is SUPER convenient to eateries from breakfast to dinner, gas stations, department and retail stores, AND the highway! Win-win! Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful clean room and comfortable bed. It has Great choices of restaurants within walking distance. We are at Chedders. I would stay at this hotel again. Very friendly staff and good breakfast. Hopefully the gravy will be thicker from here on out.

Good room, good breakfast but disappointing TV…

1st room faulty door lock. Second room AC unit had to be reset/tv not hooked up not all station worked. Staff very helpful but not a easy stay.

Nice clean spacious rooms. Isdel at front desk was very prompt and professional. Had everything ready before we arrived.

Very nice place staff was wonderful. The lady that works 3 to 11 was very good and friendly. My cat and dog enjoyed the stay as well.

This place may look nice but be careful! Our room somehow ended up with foreign trash appearing in it each day. The day we did arrive to find the maid cleaning she was anything but friendly. Another day we were woken up by them laughing and carrying on outside our door. Everything spoken in. Amarillo has better options. Do not waste good money staying here!

I would say this hotel is average. The room is nice but that's about the only good thing going at this hotel. The fitness center has a broken elliptical. When I checked into the hotel, I had to wait several minutes before I was finally greeted. The only reason the front desk associate even helped was because I rang the bell sitting behind the counter. Before I tapped the bell, I could hear her in the back giggling up a storm. Not very professional if you ask me.

Front desk was polite, room was clean. A/C worked very well, good water pressure. The complementary breakfast was simple but great. I didn't give them 5 star because it need updated remodeling.

Great rooms clean friendly staff great food great pool and sauna.
