Other ladies at desk were never rude; but today the little girl with the two lip piercings was rude. Other than her having a bad day and taking it out on customers I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice room quite and friendly staff.

Mary at check in was wonderful. Bed comfortable room quiet and clean. Good water pressure but bathroom and shower stall really small. Ac worked great. Breakfast was standard choice brand standard nut very fresh even at nine am. Check out fellow gave excellent directions. I think we'll stay again on our return trip.

Definitely get your money's worth. Clean but a bit dated which is alright with me. Positives — good hot breakfast, location right off I-40 within a few miles of stores and restaurants. Negatives — Pool under maintenance. No onsite laundry but one nearby with a mile.

Hotel right on the freeway. Easy to get to. Room was small, but very nice. Nice bed nice chairs. Nice size Swimming Pool, Spa was broken at the time. Employees at the counter were very nice.

Pros- Extremely nice and cheerful desk receptionist. Appeared remodeled in some areas. Cons — our bathroom smelt of strong urine. Caulking in shower was moldy/dirty. Comforter was stained. Old/stale/moldy smelling interior. Free breakfast had all off brand/cheap items, where the other choice hotel we stayed had nice brand items that tasted well. Rooms seem small.

Nice wonderful quiet and affordable hotel. The staff is great and the beds are comfortable. Of all the choice hotels this is one of my favorites and I will continue to stay here on my travels. The auditor Daina greeted with a smile and helped me out on my stay. I will be a loyal customer always.

It was a great place to stay. The front desk clerks were so nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean. If I am ever in this area again I would definitely stay here.

3rd time this year and 1time last year that the pool and hot tub is closed down. Unacceptable. We will stay at holiday inn express for next few times. We stayed 23 days in 2017 at various hotels, mostly choice hotels, 12 days so far 2018. Seems to be there is always something wrong. Also points system is screwed up, been staying for year's, no free night yet.

Carpet stunk really badly. The beds were OK. But the bottom sheet looked like it had been slept in the night before. The bathroom toilet seat was very loose and slid back and forth on the toilet. The toilet paper dispenser fell apart when I pulled the paper, which was very rough. And the caulking at the bottom of the shower looked gross. There was also some damage to the furniture.

This is a very clean and small business. I can greatly appreciate the personable demeanor of the staff. I will return. I will also be recommending to friends.

My family stayed here a few months ago. We loved it! The booking and check in process was very quick. The room was super comfortable. There was no elevator, but we didn't mind. The stairs were nicley laid out and not steep. It was also refreshing to walk after being in the car all day. Breakfast was the real star of the show. The lady monitoring that area was at the top of her game. The food was refreshed quickly. Tables were wiped with lightning speed. She grabbed an extra chair for us without being asked. The check out process was also fast and pleasant. Honestly, I felt like I was a very valued customer. I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling in the Amarillo area.

Nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Easy booking online, friendly staff. The non-smoking rooms are tidy, modern and odorless. I've had problems with numerous Amarillo hotels having non-smoking rooms that were surrounded by smoking rooms and still were intolerably smoky. I was so thankful for how different this place was in that respect! The room set up is practical and has lots of storage space, a full-length closet with hangers, many drawers, a mini fridge, microwave, a decent sized flat screen TV and a nice, large leather office chair — and plenty of desk space. There are nightstands and lamps on either side of the bed, and they have convenient electrical outlet plugs and switches at the base, which may seem like a small thing, but after being in hotel rooms where you had to try to crawl on the floor and squeeze your arm behind the bed, or worse, have your phone more than arm's length away from you! (I know, I know… but I have to grab and silence the alarm immediately or else I get grumpy) I also don't like having to practically stand to turn my reading light off, it's nice to just barely reach over and get it, maintaining your drowsiness. The fact that they have an indoor pool & free breakfast & Wi-Fi is great. Breakfast is the standard fare at most hotels that offer the complimentary continental, nothing extraordinary, but totally acceptable. A little bit of noise from the highway from our room, but if we had booked earlier we could have asked for one on the other side.

Clean, comfy, convenient. Staff was nice, check in/out was easy. Standard amenities (microwave, fridge, TV, hair dryer, etc). Very happy with my stay. Breakfast was about average, with variety of selections. Eggs (in those little patty/omelet things), breakfast sausage, hash browns, waffle maker, toast, bagels, assortment of pastries, yogurt, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, water, instant oatmeal, bananas and apples. If someone is loud in the hall, you’ll hear it. It was not crowded at all when I visited on a Wednesday night in early March (2018).

Great service, thin walls. Clean. I noticed 2 weeks after I posted just my 1st sentence as my review that the manager responded. That's not a very common practice that I notice. I'm still going to give it 4 stars I feel like it was deserving of all 4 but not the 5th. However since the manager did decide to get back with me I will tell you that we had a great time while we were there and the hotel had a lot to do with it. It is a very safe and well it location they have amenities for free to help midnight snack er's like me lol. They had fruits out like apples and bananas that were yours anytime of the day. They hotel was very clean As a matter of fact it looked like it had just been remodeled I don't know if that is true or not. But that is impressive to say either way. So thank you for responding and if you're in this area looking for a hotel I would give my recommendation here.

Very suitable for the price paid. Room was very clean, bed was quite comfortable, and the location was convenient. Front counter staff was courteous and helpful at check-in and afterwards. Thanks for great service, would return to this location again if we were in the area.

Easy to access. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. It wasn't a top tier place to stay but the rate was good and it fit our needs. We we're just passing through town and needed a bath and a place to lay our heads.

Great place for a great price! I have not one bad thing to say about this place. Awesome friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable beds, clean rooms, great indoor pool and hot tub… Any accommodation we asked for the staff took care of, we will stay here again for sure!

The girl at the front desk was very friendly and rooms are nice and clean. Just like the picture on line. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Visiting a guest who was staying there. Rooms were nice and clean and comfortable. Pool was clean and hot tub was amazing. Always had clean towels by the pool. And when told hot tub wasn't working it was fixed that same day.

A nice surprise! Super clean and friendly hotel with a quiet ambience. It's very convenient to be by the interstate, but ongoing construction made it a bit tricky to get to the hotel.

Very nice place. Rooms were bigger than I expected and updated quite well. Right off highway… easy access to anything. Great customer service from night shift and morning shift! Great place to stay!

Good clean basic room with a good firm bed. The room smelled fine and I slept well. No murky or febreeze type smell. I wish the continental breakfast provided a banana. As a health oriented person, there was nothing for me to eat for breakfast outside a delicious gala apple. Fortunately, I brought my own food.

Pool was closed. Room is small but nice. Walls a bit on the thin side. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast just ok, and since the place sold out last night, the breakfast was quite crowded.

The only reason they got four instead of five stars is they don't have an elevator. The staff's friendliness is superb and the entire building and grounds is extremely clean. I am a one night visitor passing through so a mid level place works for us. Will definitely stay here every time I'm passing through Amarillo and need a place to rest. Great job, guys!

Was nice and clean. Enjoyed my stay with my wife loved the room atmosphere. The person on the phone when we called to make a reservation seemed a little rude but overall great stay and the breakfast was good also.
