Another one of my favorite hotels! Always helpful and polite employees! Great parking and gorgeous rooms! Great breakfast always! ❤️

The electricity went out during a severe storm. I was trapped in the elevator. They had the elevator company and fire department there within 20 minutes and I was freed. Other than that the place is great.

Not only was this hotel super clean and the beds/pillows super comfortable, but the staff was great. My husband accidentally threw away our medicine bag full of his, mine and our baby’s everyday medications. We didn’t realize it until we were back in Fort Worth. I called and not only did they dig it out of the trash for me, but they walked me through how to get it sent back! Priscilla was very nice and answered all my questions!

Always clean and refreshing. This is either new or recently renovated. Either way, perfect! Only stayed here twice. Friendly staff so far.

The whole hotel was modern and in good condition. The staff was lovely. Breakfast was good. Pool and spa were clean and enjoyable.

I made a reservation at this hotel on my IHG app and then realized it was not the Holiday Inn Express I needed to stay at so I went to the app and canceled the reservation. I then reserved a room at the Holiday Inn West-Medical City. About a week later looking at my credit card account this hotel billed me as being a no show. After exhaustive efforts with the hotel and IHG customer service all refused to refund my money. Thanks Undoubtedly I will not be staying here again, probably not in Amarillo.

This was out last hotel stay on our trip. Quite impressed by how modern the hotel was. It was very clean. The picture on Google maps does not do it justice. There are restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Overall great stay, friendly service, and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

Very excellent place to stay. The bed was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The staff was very nice even though I arrived at 0300 hrs. The room was top notch as far as being clean and the interior decor. When I pass through I will stay again!

Every Holiday Inn Express we stayed in are fairly new hotels. The prices have been competitive and our stays have been enjoyable. This HIE was great with a nice breakfast. We will stay here again.

Hotel is very well maintained. All personnel helpful and courteous. Breakfast is adequate. Good location.

Rooms were very nice. Bed was extremely comfortable. Stay included a free breakfast. Great for an overnight business trip.

Don't let the fancy, modern decor fool you. If you actually like to sleep avoid this noise pit at all costs. We were awoken by extraordinarily loud rap music and random slamming and banging noises all night long. Was this a neighbor? I can't tell you since the walls and floors seem to be made of paper. Noise came from all directions. In any case, Mr. Rap man tired of getting ready for his rave and loudly exited the room after about 20min of sharing his musical tastes with us at 3 in the morning. Which brings me to the next issue; the doors slam shut with extreme vigor. That was a constant throughout the night, loud door slamming. Also, footsteps… why there were so many people walking around at ungodly hours I can't tell you. What I can tell you is how I pondered why it sounded like they were wearing iron shoes to produce the number of decibels their footsteps brought to my ears. At one point there was a constant, rhythmic, and loud banging noise. This banging would cease a few seconds giving a glimmer of hope that it was over before resuming. My husband and I had a discussion on what that could be in the middle of the night, since we weren't sleeping anyways. He proposed it was a headboard from, well, you know, "the deed". But alas, our headboard was fixed to the wall so the mystery remains unsolved. In the morning we had our bill slid under our door to remind us that we way overpaid to not sleep.

Of all the Holiday Inn Expresses we stayed in during our trip-this was, by far, the best one. Very clean-new-neat-modern-everything worked-staff was nice. Profressional. Would highly recommend this one. Only con was that it was close to Rte 40 so was a bit noisy at times but that is not their fault. Restaurants nearby that can be walked to was a big plus as well. Would definitely stay there again.

The complimentary breakfast was not good. It was cold and tasted like powdered eggs were used.

Good price, very clean, freshly decorated, comfortable beds but sound like people were running up and down halls all night and all night it sounded like the door handle to our door was being jiggled like someone was trying to quietly come in but checked and no one was anywhere around. That was creepy. Thin walls and noisy.

Carmen front desk lady, awesome service, very calm & very helpful — got my service dog in with no issues. The rooms are VERY clean & comfortable beds! 4th time road trip thru Amarillo & This Holiday Inn Express is the BEST!

Clean, comfortable with great amenities. Breakfast served warm with good array of choices. I would give it 5 stars but for the hot water. Water for shower was not hot enough. My kids had to take lukewarm showers and were cold and shivering when done.

It's always a nice place to stay. They recently remodeled. They have a good assortment for breakfast. They had cookies for the guest in the afternoon/evening when we checked in. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool.

Nice rooms, updated throughout. Breakfast is small, but good. Pool is freezing, no heat whatsoever.

The breakfast was not so great, hard biscuits and pancake machine was out of order and it's pricey for what you get. Good beds and staff were friendly.

We loved our stay! First time we have ever done a review on a hotel, but feel this hotel should be rated a 3 Star at the least. Rooms were clean and very quiet which is huge for me having a chronic illness. Beds were comfy too. Thank you for making our stay a great one!

They were rude because we had too many kids in a room. Its 3 little boys and they expect them not make noise and we were not making noise just because the people underneath us didnt want to hear people walking around. I think it was rude of them to say we had too many kids in a room and we should have rented a 2nd room but since we went through a third party they let it go.

Stopped here as halfway point between Louisiana and Arizona. Chose in advance this hotel based on price and the fact that there was a hot tub in the bathroom. This is a very nice amenity when you have arthritis! Even if you dont! Room was clean, quiet and updated-looking. Breakfast provided was adequate — cereal or oatmeal, bagels or fruit. In all a wonderful place.

Had a indoor hot tub and pool which both were very nice. The breakfast had a better variety then others. Also the room was very good looking.

The room was great, definitely clean and spacious. The breakfast was probably the best part, one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. Without a doubt, 5/5!

Very nice hotel… The room was clean all the way around. The only gripe I would have is the shower tub was slippery… Almost fell after slipping.

We stayed for two nights in a double queen room. This was the nicest Holiday Inn Express I have been to! Very comfortable, clean and modern. Beds were new and very comfy. Staff was exceptional. Visited the pool and jacuzzi, both were nice. Got a workout in at their gym room, which has a nice selection of equipment. Location was very convenient for our travels. We were also able to walk to the surrounding restaurants and back.

We absolutely love it. The rooms were very clean and super comfy. The beds were so comfy and the pillows were like laying on a cloud. The pool was very clean and nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great service all around! Will definitely stay again!

Beds were super comfortable and the place was quite, nice variety on the hot breakfast bar, would highly recommend! Only negative was all the vending machine were out of bottled water.

Great breakfast and great room with a kerrige coffee maker. Plus Staff was friendly. Walking distance to restraunts, good location. Will return.

If I could transport this Holiday Inn to all my travel destinations I would. Just the little details, the beds were very comfortable. The environment felt new, the customer service was great. Definitely recommend staying here.

Nice place for the price. Room was great, bed was extremely comfortable, and quiet. The pool floor was slippery and didn't have towels but a decent indoor pool. Breakfast was an average continental breakfast, nothing special. Overall satisfying stay.

Rooms seemed outdated. Breakfast was mediocre. Invoice at the end of stay had extra charges that I was assured would be eventually removed and that it was part of a deposit. Also, I booked and paid online… they charged the card I put on file in full in addition to what I paid initially. We'll see how it all shakes out when the charges eventually post.

Thin walls, could hear neighbors. Other than that, everything was very nice, new, and clean!

The location was great and easy to get to. There are lots of restaurants within easy walking and driving distance, and the staff and rooms were great. If I'm in the area again I'll be back.

Friendly staff, clean room, Wi-Fi works but can be slow at times. Better breakfest than some of the other hotels I have visited from the same chain.

The meeting room was adequate and the facilities were nice. The staff was helpful and polite. The only complaint would be the room's air conditioning had trouble keeping up with the amount of people in it.

My family has stayed here several times as we've passed through Amarillo while traveling between Texas and Colorado. Previously we have had a good experience at this hotel until our last stay. We were disappointed to find that the bathroom in one of our two rooms had never been cleaned. It had dirty towels and a dirty wash cloth in the shower/tub area as well as a partially used shampoo bottle. The doors to both rooms did not easily close completely without applying some extra pull. One of them was inadvertently left open all night — yikes! Additionally, while reclining in bed for an hour or so, we received a call from a front desk employee that there were complaints about us stomping around on the floor and that we would be charged an additional $2 for the problem. That was not possible since we had been in bed during that particular time. Any stomping noise may have been heard came from another room but it seems we were considered guilty anyway and would have to pay a penalty. Even if we had been guilty (which we weren't) there was nothing in writing from the hotel that mentioned penalties would be assessed for such issues and certainly any proof of guilt for certain disruptions would be very difficult to ascertain. It's just crazy. After this latest experience, we will move on to another hotel in the future during our trips through Amarillo.

My family and I were traveling across country we stopped in the Holiday Inn Express on April 29th 2015 stayed one night my wife left and appraised value $4000 princess cut diamond wedding ring in the hotel room bathroom and we left the next morning Call 35 minutes later to explain to the general manager Viksit that we left the ring in the bathroom and he replied back the housekeeper clean the room never found anything. The security camera shows only us in room and 1 housekeeper so she who cleaned the room took the ring. GM said they hotel isn't responsible for lost or stolen items. Beware of this hotel. Housekeeping will steal your valuables!
