Wonderful place! Food is delicious. It is unique and so cozy. The staff was excellent so polite and went above and beyond, you will not find better people working any where these folks know how to spoil their guest. Love this cozy romantic getaway.

Our stay was amazing. We were traveling from North Carolina on vacation. The staff was great and friendly. The location was not far from all the attractions we explored (Dollywood, Pigeon Forge). I totally would recommend this hotel. The room was very nice and spacious.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time. We did research and saw that the Inn has our last name we had to come and check it out. So glad we did. Room was beautiful and romantic. Dinner was amazing. We will be back. We love history and this place amazes us.

My Mary Kay director and I hosted an event there today and it went amazingly well! The staff was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Also, the food is amazing and the building itself has a life of its own that needs to be explored by locals and visitors alike.

Great prime rib and the fried crawfish tails are off the chain. Just a cool place to eat.

A little late on this review but we had our beautiful wedding here on May 26th of 2019. We rented out the whole inn for the night before and for the day of. The staff was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. We had beef tips, grilled chicken, brown sugar glazed baby carrots, and creamed corn. Let me just say we received compliments for days after our wedding on how amazing the food was! The inn is absolutely beautiful and looked amazing in our photos. I suggest if you are planning a wedding please consider the Hale Springs Inn and also look into a day-of-wedding planner, it made the day go by smoothly knowing someone else is in charge and taking care of business on the side lines.

Our anniversary is today and Hale Springs Inn made it so special. They have such a warm hospitality. The food was absolutely wonderful. The waitress was so Intentive making sure everything was so perfect. I thank you all for such a special evening.

We ate here for the first time today. We had the bacon blue cheese nachos and my kids literally licked the plate. The chicken parm wasn't anything to get excited about (a little dry and lackluster) but generously portioned. My kids enjoyed the fish and chips and grilled chicken sandwich and my husband liked the beef tips. The pumpkin roll was delicious. Service was great and the atmosphere was really nice. We'll definitely be back for that bacon and blue cheese dip!

You’re in for a treat with this one! Staff is so friendly and accommodating, unique historical features found all around, very peaceful and affordable. Also, the beds are very comfortable and as pleasant as We all slept I could guarantee it’s not haunted.

I love this place. We go to listen to Thystatine when they play. It is a great family outing. They have great food. The staff is always friendly.

I love going to this spot you can go here even if you're not getting a hotel room they have live bands a small little quaint bar and many game nights it's a great place to visit.

This past Tuesday I had my son's rehearsal dinner at Hale Springs Inn, plus we had 6 rooms rented out. I cannot say enough good about our experience there! All my guests and dinner attendees raved over how delicious the food was! Julie worked with me for months getting things planned and made the whole process truly painless. I would highly, highly recommend using Hale Springs Inn for a wedding venue, anniversary party etc. … Thank you Hale Springs Inn… you are awesome!

Food was good. Chicken livers were great. We sat outside on the patio per bartender recommendation. It was quite lovely. The food was reasonably priced. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection. He enjoyed the garlic broccoli. We will go back.

Traveled from Orlando to visit for my friend's birthday this past weekend and stayed overnight! Being raised in Orlando, Florida and working in the "tourist capital of the world " for years there, I was tickled pink by this place! Yes I'm a city girl but I love the countryside and history! This place was a fantastic surprise for me! Live music in the courtyard, a cozy Tavern and great food! I was amazed at the prices and quality of the food and drinks! I'm used to spending a whole lot more than I did for a night out like that! Bar tender and staff were AWESOME! Friendly, funny and helpful! They'll more than happily give you a tour and tell you the history! Live band was great! Room was huge and comfortable! Wi-Fi, complimentary cold bottles of water, hot water & tea and coffee machine in the hallway, spacious bathroom, mints on the pillows, antique furnishings… I really felt welcome. All the locals I met were friendly too! I really felt like I was in a movie, the kind where the girl from a big city ends up in the country town Inn and falls in love with it! I didn't know places like this still exist. This was a great weekend getaway to escape and unwind!

It's a good night when they have someone to perform there on weekends and you can set outside and have a good time with friends and family. Its a mixture of different people from different ages that goes there and that's pretty cool!

Hale Springs Inn is a beautiful historic inn in downtown Rogersville. The main floor houses McKinney's Tavern, the restaurant and pub. The second and third floors are guest rooms, all furnished with amazing antique furniture. There is an elevator to the second floor, but not to the third. The food served is excellent, and good sized portions.

We went to the special Valentine ‘s Day dinner. With reservations. So excited for this special evening, but we sat there for 20 minutes without anyone even offering us a glass of water. We left.

Went on prime rib night. They had ran out of baked potatoes, even though this was a reservation only dinner. The steak was very tough, but did taste good. Service was mediocre at best, as I was seated for over 10 minutes before someone took my drink order.

We love eating at HSI — never had a bad meal there. The calamari is yummy and we always have it tossed in the Asian Sweet Chili sauce. The staff are attentive and pleasant — it’s like they enjoy their job. The patio is a nice dining option when weather permits.

Wonderfully quaint hotel. Great place to take someone for a romantic weekend. Dining downstairs, bar, and coffee shop right across the street. Rogersville is a very historic Tennessee town and there are a number of nice shops.

As a local wedding photographer, I consider Hale Springs Inn to be Rogersville's premier wedding venue. We love working there on the beautiful grounds or in any of the indoor public spaces. Their guest rooms are also uniquely furnished, comfortable and perfect for family staying overnight or getting ready for a wedding. We look forward to our next time working at Hale Springs Inn, highly recommended!

This is the BEST place to have a wedding — my daughter was married on 10/07/2017 and we were not disappointed! The staff were SO friendly & helpful. They went out of their way to make this event flawless and special for all involved. The food was just amazing — thanks to Nick Spirko and his crew! If you don't believe me, just visit the restaurant sometime. The hotel was comfortable, clean and the ambiance of the venue is pure class — old world charm with modern conveniences. LOVE this place and would highly recommend to anyone considering the use of Hale Springs Inn for an event, dinner or as accommodations.

Hale Springs Inn is a must see! The Inn was built in 1824 as a stop over house and tavern, and now it has 9 large, gorgeous guest rooms, a Restaurant that serves delicious made to order meals, and a full service Tavern. The floors throughout the Inn are the same floors that were laid in 1824. The history of this place is captivating.

The entire inn was gorgeous, with 1800s decor. Very clean and hospitable. The front desk was helpful and showed us to our room. The inn is perfect for exploring main street. The lawn is well kept and lit up, great for sitting down at the tables and enjoying a drink.

Booked a room last minute on a road trip and we were blown away. The building was beautiful and the staff were extremely helpful. Best room and service I've ever gotten and at a reasonable of a price.

It's located in the small historic town of rogersville right in the center of town. It's really nice. A good place surrounded by so much history.

I went here for a recent car show in the area. It was a very nice area/town. The inn was very pretty and nice.

I was introduced to HSI by a friend who lives Rogersville; we sat on the patio on a beautiful fall evening and had drinks and fabulous appetizers. I knew then HSI would be a place my mom would enjoy. I made reservations for us but later had to cancel due to a family death. The staff was so understanding. I later rescheduled and got to take my mom… she loved it as much as I knew she would and I did as well. We were made to feel so special and all of the staff went out of their way to assure our stay was memorable. So much history, such a quaint, little town and every meal we had there was delicious! There was nothing we wanted that the staff at HSI didn't make possible. I would highly recommend HSI and will for sure go back.

I stayed here on 29 August 2014 for my high school reunion. Great inn, great staff, great experience. This historic inn has been restored and is an exceptional destination itself. This is a really special place for a Rogerville native and a great B&B for anyone wanting a unique experience in East Tennessee. They did an outstanding job catering and hosting our 30 year Cherokee High School Reunion.

The Hale Springs Inn is a beautiful historic inn with excellent front desk and housekeeping services. Breakfast is also delicious. However, on the first morning of our stay, they were out out of sausage, an ingredient which appeared in all but one of their breakfast options. It also took fifty minutes for my husband and I to get our breakfast, even though we were the fourth and fifth people to order that morning. Unfortunately, the service was so terrible my husband had to open the kitchen door to find our waiter so we could get our water glasses refilled. Our waiter also never apologized for disappearing and never explained the long wait. Luckily, we had different wait staff this morning and the service was much better. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, hoping yesterday was a fluke.

If you're anywhere close, stay here. Great experience, plus very reasonable rates.
