Came into town for my husband's family reunion from the 13-16. Check in was a breeze, the woman at the desk was super nice and friendly. Walking into the room it was a basic layout (flat screen TV, mini fridge and microwave). The room was nice and cool as it was hot as hell fire outside, so we appreciated that. The bed was EXTREMELY firm with flat pillows, uncomfortable but for the price what the hay. We did have to call the front desk twice because our bathroom light kept going out but each time maintenance was at our door in seconds happy to fix the problem. The biggest disappointment was the pool. The water was cloudy with a thin film on top of it. It was a real let down as we had a group of younger children with us with their minds set of swimming the weekend away. Overall C-

It was under a flight route so planes flew overhead during the night and in the morning. Only a few and not at ungodly hours. It's older, rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. There was an African wedding party going on when we checked in and it was nice to see the hotel was supportive of local community. There was an issue with getting a room, something about the date of my reservation, but a manager was present to work it out in our favor.

Their continental breakfast sucks. If you want tea, juice or milk, you have to ask their staff because they won't let you get it yourself since you're allowed to one cup. If you want more that's extra. The coffee is low quality. The service was slow. I can't imagine what happens when the room is full. The room: the bed is comfortable although a little squeaky. The pillow was hard and I had to put it away. The air conditioning system was LOUD. The shower curtain in the bathroom was in a very bad condition; blown lightbulbs and the towels desperately need fabric softener.

Cozy. Updated. Serves its purpose… but they need to update online photos. Clean the pool better. And take their time with check ins. Friendly in your face for sure. Kinda expected more but its was nice and clean for the most part.

They could clean up around the outside better, and maybe update their sign. Otherwise it's a really ornate, open, and welcoming lobby. The rooms are nice, sadly the last time I was there the pool was closed, only for cleaning though! I'll definitely be staying with them for another trip.

Amazing people, view, and hotel. Loved it all around. I cant remember the lady's name at the desk but she was absolutely amazing in telling us where all the fun places to go were for our anniversary.

Worst hotel I’ve ever been to. We booked our room while in Texas based on the pictures and reviews. When we got there I realized that everything I read about this place was a complete lie. The smell of smoke is throughout the place, the lobby was the only clean area that I noticed. Our room seemed to be filled with damaged and dirty furniture. I could immediately tell that this was a “Trap” hotel. Basically a place where you wouldn’t want to be with your family. Prostitution and drugs are obviously a normal occurrence there, I immediately fears for our safety. We quickly found a better hotel and left from there. Since we pre booked our room, we got no refund… 0 stars.

Do not stay here! The room keys don’t work. I’ve had to walk back and forth to the front desk 3 nights in a row to be able to get someone to reset my card and l still can’t get in! Thankful this is my last night here, as I’m traveling for work. To top it off… I must mention the empty box of condoms by the blue chair in my room. Disgusting! I called the Manager and no answer… the pictures on the internet are nothing what this place actually looks like when you arrive.

Older hotel, with some touch ups could be a wonderful place to stay. No breakfast, which was a downside! Staff was awesome, Cassandra thanks for the tip on the Irish Restaurant! Don't recommend using the gentleman they recommend to drop you off and pick you up! We didn't think to ask and were charged $35 one way.

The management at this place are an absolute joke. They are renovating the fourth floor so they decided that 7.00am is the best time to start. Knowing full well that the sound travels ALL the way throughout the hotel. After complaining to management about it they said, there is no good time to start construction… how about at 10 in the morning when everyone is awake after getting a sleep in. They said that they must start early because it's such a big job and they want to get it done to save themselves money. Well hopefully your ratings go down because of your incompetence and all this was a waste of time and money for you. The reason this place is so cheap is evident in the look of the place. Trust us find somewhere else not worth it.

This hotel is truly a great place to stay. Great staff, beautiful hotel. And if you love Elvis then this is the place for you. Also I absolutely love their coffee bar.

This hotel is supposed to be 100% smoke free but as soon as we walked into our room there was a burst of the smell of smoke. Found a pillow behind the chair in our room from the previous visitors, curtains hanging off the rod, The face of the AC was falling off, The phone had missing buttons and was cracked, The coffee pot also had a sticker on top that said "do not dispose of filter. " There's no telling what anyone else could have used in that filter and we were told to not dispose of it which is gross. The carpet stained very bad, was super dirty and needed to be vacuumed, had toys from previous visitors children under the skirts of the bed. There was blue candy or some type of blue colored food smeared on the headboard on one of the beds, found dry blood on the pillow cases and on the sheets, Bed was also very itchy and felt like something was crawling on our legs throughout the night. The next morning when we asked housekeeping for complete new bedding, We were told we could be given clean sheets only not comforters and was told I could change them myself. Once I took the sheets off my beds to change them, I then found there was even more blood stains on the mattress protector that was on the mattress. I also asked if the room could be vacuumed and was told they would let me borrow it if I needed to clean my room. Housekeeping ended up vacuuming the room themselves only because the vacuum was broken.

This hotel needs to be updated. The website stated breakfast was included, however when we arrived, we were told they have discontinued the free breakfast. When it is decided to discontinue something, please update your website. The hotel is showing its age and management has not made many, if any updates. The mattresses are old and lumpy, carpeting in hallways and rooms need to updated. Lighting in the lobby and hallways are dim; lack of lighting. The fitness room needs to have the equipment updated. The hotel has the feel of the 1980's and needs to updated to current times.

A well-located hotel… but that's all.
Deplorable welcome, we had taken a night with breakfast included surprise a little note on the door mentioning that the restaurant room was closed until the next day because "Madame went to town" no service and a refund of 2.50 dollars for two breakfasts …

The only upside is the price and you get what you pay for. This hotel is old and ran down! The towels are old and worn out, the carpet has multiple stains from years of ground in dirt, mattresses are old and uncomfortable, a pest control guy came in and sprayed while we were staying which leads me to believe they have had bed bugs here. The fridge is on the floor on top of the dirty dirty carpet. The staff is very rude and unfriendly. The so called restaurant they have is over priced. I wouldn't recommend this facility to ANYONE! Take your money elsewhere. If you don't believe me… Come see for yourself.

Second time coming first time was great. Second time wasn’t so good. Service sucks! I was there over the weekend and my room DIDNT get clean. I had to go buy me a towel because the house keeping had me sign her paper and didn’t bring anything back… the night desk rep was rude to my husband because the room wasn’t in his name when all he wanted was to get our KEY THE ROOM FIX I went down there and the key still didn’t work.

Simple and dated but very well located between Graceland Airport and downtown in 10 min.

I could tell that this Hotel had seen better days, as in probably the very best, number one Hotel in all of Memphis, I'm not saying that its run down, nothing like that. I didn't know what part of Memphis I was in, I was taken there by a Shuttle Bus from the Swift Trucking Terminal. Since I was with Swift, I didn't have to pay. If I ever go back to Memphis, it will be as a Tourist, I would for sure consider this Hotel. What makes me go back to any Business is the People, same for not ever going back to a Business, its the People. Being a long way from Home in Texas, it was a relief to be able to land in a Hotel with People that were so down to earth and Friendly, that means Everything to me. There was a Church Service going on as I checked in, so I went to Church. The Lady at the Front Desk, I don't remember her name, I remembered her name for a long time, but I can't remember it now, I wish I could, she made me feel at Home.

The whole hotel seemed to have been freshly painted. The staff was welcoming, super friendly and helpful. Beds were pretty comfortable. Although we didn't eat, the food at the restaurant sounded wonderful. For the price and location, it was a fantastic hotel.

It's a $48 room! It's a bit used but it's a very large room which was what I needed. It's got a microwave, which is what I needed, it's got a ref which is what I needed, it's 60 seconds off of the highway which is what I wanted… And bottom line even though it's a $50 room I got it for $30! It's clean enough for what I want to do. The bed is okay I brought my own pillow so I will get a good sleep! Basically you get a good $50 room…

We just checked in yesterday. Here from Georgia. And so far it's great. The room smelled great when we first walked into it. Our sheets were wrinkled (which I don't really like) but they smell nice and look clean otherwise. They have a restaurant in it that does bkfst, lunch, dinner. And the best part of you have a dog like myself. Is there is a large open grass area that is partially gated. If they finished the fence and did a little dog park type thing. It would be awesome! Bathroom and towels is why I gave it 3 stars, needs a deep cleaning, and I'm picky with towels.

Nice place, Impressed by the surrounding areas. The staff is respectful and nice. I encourage them to work harder at getting things checked over in a room when guests make reservations ahead of time. Overall I recommend this place. I passed the night here. Note that breakfast is not complimentary with your stay.

So first off, the area is the area, it's up to you if you feel like it's safe or not. Receptionist were nice, no complaints there. Bedroom, could definitely use a deep scrub and some remodeling. Biggest downers are the pics not showing it accurately or the free breakfast that seems to not be free. Just ask and look at reviews to see if it's for you.

First of all, this was not a nice area at all, but we paid the price to be close to Graceland. Also, we just booked the hotel that night, so we took what was available (2 King beds). They supposedly gave us $50 off, but $100 still seemed too much for the quality of the room. I found a candy wrapper under the sheets of one of the beds, so right away that was not a good sign. They only gave us 2 towels even though we told them over the phone that there would be 3 guests. Also, the walls and windows were so thin you could hear other people's conversations, as well as planes flying overhead to/from the airport. At least the smart thermostat changed pretty quickly in the room. Over the phone, they also told us that there was free Continental breakfast, but we were told at the front desk and in the dining area that they hadn't had that for a month. The prices for breakfast also seemed too pricey for what the quality of the food in the buffet looked like. We ended up just going to McDonald's which was only a few minutes away for breakfast. I would only recommend this place as a last resort and because of its proximity to Graceland. Otherwise, if you're willing to pay more, travel a bit farther, or do more research beforehand, I suggest looking elsewhere if you're planning on staying in Memphis.

Comfortable bed's, had more than a office chair to sit in. Quiet, cheap and clean. Just the basic $42 (with coupon) night room. Front staff was lacking in the personality department. In a ruff part of town. Have security patrolling the grounds. Close to Graceland.

Staff was wonderful. They have a 24/7 shuttle to the airport with great drivers that are were awesome to talk to. The room was clean and very affordable.

You can't expect more for the amount. Was acceptable.

Before I state how I feel, I would like to state facts. I drove from Milwaukee to Memphis for my birthday. After such a long drive I walked into a room with a king bed not made and dirty towels on the floor. The front desk agent switch me to a room with two queen bed (I booked a king bed). When I walked into the second room it was even worse. The toilet had urine stains, the wall panel behind the toilet was falling off, there was a empty mountain dew bottle on the dresser, miscellaneous strains all over the place and the beds were made very poorly. I then reached out to the front desk agent who laughed about the situation and offers me a third option. I switched my room a third time which was better but still had issues. The beds was again made poorly still and there was missing decor, but no questionable strains… I totally understand if you pay McDonald's price you get McDonald's results. However, I still require a clean sanitary place to get rest. Word of mouth is one thing but I have pictures. I hope the owner doesn't allow poor staffing to ruin his/her investment.

Two nights, $88 total off of hotel app. You kidding me? Was better than expected. There were no bugs and clean thank you guys!. So the AC smelled when the condenser wasn't on. So does yours at home. Still gets 5 stars from this kid.

Was very leary to stay in this hotel because of the horrible reviews but it wasn't all that bad. Ours rooms weren't too bad but if you are wanting impeccable clean Tastefully decorated rooms this hotel is not for you. I was very concerned about the security of the parking lot before we arrived but they now have a security guard that patrols the lot constantly. Improvements that could be made would be a better continental breakfast and a smoking area outside with seating. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful entrance. Normal and clean rooms. Close to the airport and Graceland 10 minutes to downtown Memphis by car.

Pretty ghetto here but I guess it's cheap. Our door didn't completely close by itself like a normal hotel door should. We were gone for the entire day and when we got back to our room the door pushed right open. I made sure it was shut when we left so the cleaners had left it that way. That's a huge deal I feel. I usually hang the do not disturb tag so no one goes in anyways but there wasn't one. I let the front desk know and they seemed as little concerned as I expected they would. No apology. They told me they'd put a work order in.

Rooms and bathroom are very clean and tidy! There is a free shuttle service to Graceland.
Unfortunately, renovations were underway at the time of our visit and the Wi-Fi was weak, so only three points. In normal times it is certainly worth four!

Found a cockroach crawling across the bathroom! The floors were wet. The pool was closed. Not my favorite hotel.

Under renovation and not a lot of the facilities were available but the customer service was terrific and I can really appreciate what they're doing with the place. Will be great once completed.

Me and my children homeless and I had enough money to afford a week at this hotel. I paid for a week and was given a room. The first room that is… it looked clean. The only problem I had at first was the room was freezing and the air conditioner didn't have knobs to turn it off. The maintenance came and used pliers to cut it off. We later in the bed bed and immediately started itching, I thought it was just me so I watched my children all night and they were scratching everywhere. So I waited till the morning and went to the front desk and spoke with the manager sharon. She said they weren't allowed to give refunds. I told her nooooo we cant be here. She offered another room with clean linen. Ok, got a room on the second floor… it looked clean! guess what? we're itching every time we lay and sleep on these beds. Me and my children have bite marks from bed bugs all on our body. I took pictures and videoed our body and I took the flashlight on my phone and looked around the board of the bed… filthy filthy, dust everywhere, somebody left a sock, hot chips, it looks disgusting. Im sitting on this bed right now scratching while I type this. Better believe im sueing. My babys keep waking from their sleep crying and itching from discomfort. Cant wait to leave. Id rather sleep in my car but we need to bathe and stretch. Don't come here. But if you're ok with being bit then I guess this the place for you. ******And the water comes out brown!

It took over an hour just to get checked in. We called to tell them that we would be checking in late. When we got there our reservation had been cancelled. Apparently it is now under new ownership. I feel that they should've just closed down while they are in transition. There was dried up blood in the bathroom, smell of cigarette smoke lingered in the room. There is no breakfast buffet or food of any kind, no lounge/bar. The walls are tore up in the elevator. Missing ceiling tiles. There was dried up spills all over in the lobby. ROACHES at the check in desk! The fitted sheet for my bed had a big hole around the corner. The comforter/blanket had small stains and holes. The towels and washcloths felt like sandpaper. I didn't even turn the TV on, so I can't review that. The phone in the room had dust and dirt all over it. There was a cigar wrapper in the floor under the bed side table, beads and hair ties between the mattresses and the side of the bed frame, even more hair beads between the bed and the wall. There were only 2 very small pillows on the bed. The chair in the room was stained and had a mismatched foot stool. The photo's of the hotel show an alarm clock and flowers in the rooms. The carpet in the room and the hall ways were very dirty or stained. The freezer had something that had exploded in it. The parking lot had no lighting. Had I not already been charged for this I would've definitely went somewhere else. I did see several security personnel.

I booked this hotel through Hotwire. I tried calling the hotel to confirm my reservation and was always told the extension I enter was not an option even though it said press zero for the operator. Upon arriving to check in, there was some kinda music blaring inside. The front desk where rude, when I said I was there to check in she asked when I made a reservation I said today and she told me that they weren't accepting reservations and that they had no rooms. Even though I already paid for it. So I had 4 kids with me and had to hurry and find another hotel. Now I'm stuck on Hotwire for an hour trying to get my refund… I would not recommend this hotel.

Terrible. Not only did the room have a weird smell and the rating misleading, at check out the front desk lady let us know the person who checked us in "charged us wrong and we would be charged more for the correct rate". I don't recommend staying here even though it's close to Graceland. Don't do it!

HORRIBLE! I would give it no stars if I could! If you don't like roaches, cracked ceilings, mold, FILTHY ROOMS, etc. Please don't book!

Front door clerks were nice friendly and helpful but someone from house keeping store an $600 item from my room while I was down for breakfast smh also trash was full on the floor water leaks dirty from lack of cleaning I guess because they too busy stealing from rooms.

We have stayed at this hotel for the last four years during Elvis Week simply because of Mary Beck who puts on the shows there. She is a kind and generous person but she can't go over the management's head about the issues at hand! This past year, Elvis Week 2015 will be our last year at this hotel. Each year it has gotten worse. Carpet is so filthy and everything smells musky and like cigarette smoke. The hotel needs a restuarant for it's guest that is open regular hours. Have to go outside the hotel and look for a place to eat and at night, that is very dangerous for women. Parking lot full of stragglers roaming around and "Hookers" hanging out in the parking lot! We have been told every year that renovations were underway. I have not seen any. The second day we were there, we found a lizard in our room! Yes a live Lizard. We went to get help and the lady at the desk told us he came in through a hole around the air conditioner. She could not find him and told us he probably went out that same hole he came in. "Oh well" he could have also come back in! Just a dirty place to stay. Elvis week is always fun but next year these people will not get my money. There are plenty of NICE, CLEAN hotels within 10 min. Of Graceland. We rode around and found them!. The only nice thing I can say about the place is, it's workers were very nice and tried to be helpful to the customers. They were not happy with the conditions either but needed their jobs! Don't go there! Find another hotel!

I wanted to stay here this weekend coming up but reading these reviews this shit is ridiculous mane… I don't think you will have good business with bad services… and etc… smh I'm very disappointed now… I won't be staying at this hotel ever.

Stayed there during Elvis week last year because it was close to Graceland. It is a dump! Clarion hotels are usually nice, but this place is filthy! Parking lot full of broken glass and even saw a needle near the back entrance. Area bad, prostitutes hang in front of hotel at night. I was afraid to leave my car there also. I fell due to debris on the parking lot and broke my wrist. Not even an apology from the manager or staff. Another lady tripped over a cord in the middle of the lobby and broke her leg. I might add that we paid too much for the room! Do not walk barefoot on the carpet, it has never been cleaned!

First of all, the pictures provided are old pictures. Staff always made me feel like I was bothering them. Housekeeping was very loud in hallways in mornings and continued to knock on my door every morning even though I had a do not disturb sign on my door. Hallways are very dirty as well as fixtures were missing from ceiling in hallways on second floor as well as no air conditioning in hallways on second floor. Light in bathroom was very dim and made it difficult to get ready in bathroom. I had to use lamp from bedroom to see in bathroom. Shower was very dirty and had mold. There was no trash can in bathroom, which I had to use one from room. Toilet did not flush and it took several hours and 3 employees to finally get someone to my room to check it out. Frame around mattress was very dirty, with crumbs and debris. These need to be vacuumed. Roaches found crawling in room also. Family member received several bites overnight while in bed and management stated "the room was checked for bedbugs and no evidence" but the bites could not be explained. Staff proceeded to move my family member rooms but only offered one night credit and were very rude about that. Bites were confirmed to be bed bug bites via doctor after leaving hotel. I don't recommend this hotel and I will not stay here again. I understand that this hotel is under new management, but the condition of this hotel is pretty run down.

Should have slept in car. Majority of facility smelt of cigarette/hemp smoke including room. Overpriced entirely. Noisy heat, torn upholstery on beds, stained, burnt holes on bed coverings/carpet. Aprox half of bathroom ceiling paint peeling off, and drooping broken shower curtain. Repeated slamming of stairwell door from people tired of waiting on lagging elevator shook walls throughout night. Would have felt ripped off at half the price. Will never consider Clarion again, period.

All I can say is wow! Not a good wow. First let me give them some credit. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, thank goodness, and the hotel staff was very nice and handled issues in a timely manner. HOWEVER, the carpets were stained horribly. And horribly is a nice word. There was trash in the hallways. Literally everywhere inside the hallways. There were room numbers missing off the walls and smoke alarms were literally hanging off the walls in areas that were not under renovation. The room in appearance looked very nice when we arrived. However, as we started unpacking we noticed an immense amount of dust on the tops of the headboards and stains on the headboard (which is cloth). No telling what was on that thing. The bathroom was worse. There was mold and water stains quite visible under the bathroom counter. You didn't have to look for it, it was right there in your face. The shower curtain rod was so loose that the shower curtain wouldn't stay closed, Both sides kept rolling to the middle of the rod. The water wouldn't go to cold when the shower was on. We called downstairs and within about 5 minutes the maintenance guys came up and fixed it. So that was nice that they were prompt. The dresser drawers would NOT stay closed! OMG! I almost busted my leg when I got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night because they had slid back open and you couldn't see it in the dark. The housekeeping staff was very nice but I'm not sure how well they cleaned.

Went with a group 15 year olds from our Church and found this hotel to be very accommodating. They through us a pizza party and made sure all the kids where happy. The manager ever let them us a meeting room and rounded up 3 Wii’s for them to play. The hotel is not new but has been renovated. Our shower knob broke and they had it fixed in 10 min.
