The rooms are large, and include a desk, lounge chair, and armoire. The king size bed was comfortable, and it was nice having a microwave, coffee maker & refrigerator in the room. They are pet-friendly, and have a fitness room and outdoor pool. The best thing about the stay, however, was the personnel. I got here late on Saturday night, after having my truck towed nearby. I was dead tired, and grateful I'd found a pet-friendly hotel so close. I was very disappointed to find out they were full. The front desk clerk gave me suggestions to research on my phone while I sat in their lobby. After striking out on all of them, she told me if I could wait until midnight (20 more minutes), she might be able to give me a room of a no-show. Fortunately, she did come up with a room for my and my pet, and we were happy to put our weary bodies to bed.

Stayed Friday and checked out Sunday! Clean hotel, very friendly and accommodating staff. Wish I would have known it was pet friendly. I would have brought mine. Some modern updates. Microwaves, refrigerators, irons, hair dryers, coffee in rooms. Great free breakfast. They say continental but there were fresh made to order waffles, toast, eggs, sausage, sausage gravy hot biscuits juice and so much more. Nice restaurant across the parking lot. Great weekend stay.

Friendly staff, industrial area. It's very close to the airport, so it would be great for an overnight layover or to sleep close by for an early morning flight. Average cleanliness, furniture and walls have paint chipped and scratches. It was perfect for a one night stay for a business meeting I had near the airport. No stores are nearby, and it's not a very tourist friendly area. There is a Mexican restaurant next door, I didn't visit it but it looked nice.

Great staff, wonderful huge breakfast buffet, good parking and the rooms are fair quality and very clean. However we origionally booked a pet room so our dog could come in with us. The pet rooms reek of urine, are filthy, stinky, poor quality and just terrible in general. It honestly wasn't even fit for our dog. We ended up having her in the truck with AC and we got a non pet room which was a 180 in quality and cleanliness from the first room. If you want a clean fresh room and your pet inside this is not the hotel. If you don't have a pet or can leave it somewhere else it's a 5 star hotel for sure.

Enjoyed my stay here while enjoying a weekend in Memphis. Room was large and clean, room had a microwave and refrigerator too, shower was very hot, bed was comfy. Staff was friendly didn't request or required much so I had minimal interactions however checking in and out was quick and easy.

Great place to stay… close to everything including the wonderful Mexican restaurant. It was comfy, clean, fairly new, and quiet with exception of some traffic, but that didn't bother us it load us to sleep. The traffic on a busy road outside was noisy but not in a bad way. It was close to everything 5 minutes from Graceland 10 minutes from Beale Street, and close to many other museums and great things to do. Highly recommend it, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because someone had ruined are stay before us and smoked in the room and we were in a non-smoking room. It wasn't covered up all that well. Disappointing when you have allergies to it. But for what little I was in the room we got by. The staff was awesome.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights because we had tickets to the Lakers vs Grizzlies game. Noticed the doors, well not sure about the other doors, but room 604’s door (the room we stayed in) definitely needed a paint job. The room key worked once the whole time we were there. We had 2 room keys and neither would work. It was mainly an issue because we had food in our hands and kind of would have liked to get in the room and relax and eat. We had to go back downstairs and get one of the keys redone or whatever and it worked fine after that. Then they charged my card $199 and some change I assume for a deposit when my girlfriend called them before we got the hotel to see if it was a deposit of $100 per night or for both night and the lady said it was $100 for both nights so I ended up getting an extra $100 taken off my card although it did get deposited back and I still had enough money. You never know, I could’ve really needed that money for something especially since I risked waiting to get my oil change until I got to Memphis from St. Louis and my wheels are acting funky. But anyways the main reason I’m writing this bad review is because of the bathtub. There is a mat that lies at the bottom of the tub and my girlfriend noticed there was some moldy looking stuff under the mat which was real disgusting.

Room was spacious and bed was cozy. The shower however, left something to be desired. Mold was easily wiped off by my finger during the shower, indicating that no one bothered to actually wipe the tiles down. Also, it was a handicapped bathroom and the water from shower slipped under the door spreading all over bathroom floor. That's very dangerous for someone who is handicapped. I reported it to the clerk and the response I got was "they all do that". Excuse me? I stood there and stared at her until the response changed to "I'll report that for you".

Decent service, the breakfast is definitely not the best but it's there and you do have a few options. There is a shuttle to the airport that is free and a good Mexican restaurant right next door. My shower head was broken but overall the room was pretty clean. The reason I have to give two stars is because you can hear EVERYTHING from inside your room. If you want to listen to music even with headphones the entire floor will be able to hear it. It didn't help that loud crashing and banging sounds were pretty constant throughout both nights of my stay.

Nice Hotel but really noisy when trying to sleep and definitely not kid friendly. Had a one year old, a 7 year old and 10 year old. No crib although I requested one and they never thought to give me a call and tell me so I could prepare. We planned on staying 2 night but only stayed one. But it was a nice hotel and nice customer service.

Hotel rooms were clean and the front desk staff friendly. Hotel seemed modern and included a mini fridge in the room. As always with La Quinta, they had no issues with our 3 feline companions. Also Within 10 minutes of Graceland and many great restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

At check in front desk person, did not know what she was doing. Very confused Someone else assisted her. Made it very clear over & over person assisting was off the clock, working for free, but yet took cc. Info. Referred the Mexican Restaurant next door. Not good! We were put on a floor where they were doing work. Each time we came out of our room. We were stepping over curtains, blinds and wall frames through the hall way. We were able to here them working. When I brought it to the front desk attention. I was told a adjustment would be made to bill. At time of checking out. $35.00 was removed from a 3 day stay which two days were under remodeling. I would NOT return here.

Recently renovated in the main hotel areas. A very nice, modern renovation. Most of guest room also renovated, although much of bathroom was not and it was dated. Upgraded breakfast (advertised as La Quinta's continental plus waffles… instead also included hot eggs, biscuits, and gravy). Ample pet waste stations, but grassy areas were limited just as other reviewers indicated. Staff was very friendly. Did not have any issue with noise at all, neither airport nor the other industry nearby, contrary to other reviews. Food in immediate area limited except for a Mexican restaurant next door.

This place was great for the price! The staff was very friendly and nice. The breakfast wasn’t the best, but it was okay! If we ever come back to Tennessee, we will come back here. I would defiantly recommend. Rooms were nice as well, just if you have kids be warned, the blankets and sheets are white. Thank you guys for the great stay!

Very nice place. Clean comfortable rooms with desk, lights, charging stations. Our room had a microwave and refrigerator. Nice breakfast area with TV. Small dog walk/potty area. Had plenty of bags to pick up dog poop. Enclosed/gated parking area with 24-hour security.

For the low price I’m very surprised. The customer service was great. Because the hotel is pet friendly I was nervous about the smell and overall cleanliness of the rooms. I have a cat who is very clean and doesn’t like smells in many hotels (we travel a lot). But the room was very clean. No odor. Air conditioning works great which is a huge plus for me as I’m a hotbox. The bed is pretty comfortable. And they accommodate my German Shepherd which is hard to find. Great for the price.

This location was suitable for a comfortable stay. I stayed two different nights within one week and the breakfast options seemed incomplete one of the mornings. The room was nice and clean. I wouldn't not stay at this location again, but I'd probably see if another La Quinta in Memphis had any availability.

While this is an older hotel, it was very clean and well maintained. Our stay was only 1 night but we both found everything in excellent condition and would happily stay here again. It's proximity to Graceland was an added bonus.

Very nice, clean and great smelling rooms. The bathroom was nice and it was a comfortable stay. Breakfast was good. Sadly, there were no scrambled eggs or porridge. But, there was a waffle machine! There was no T. V guide, which made it hard to find the channels you are interested in.

Everything was great with the hotel until the next morning. Our room was facing the building materials site next door and unfortunately for us they start using machinery early. Shortly after 5am my wife and I both got woken up by the loud noise of the machines. We had been traveling for the past 3 days and the only thing we wanted was a good night's sleep, which we were not able to get. We didn't report it because I'm sure there's nothing the hotel staff could've done to remedy this, which is unfortunate because like I already mentioned everything was great with our stay until this. However, another other unpleasant part was the four different taxes that were charged for our stay. I did some research and found that, yes, although I'm sure they are allowed to charge County, City, and State tax for up to about 16% of the price of the room, our charges came to about 21%, which defeated the whole purpose of staying here for a good bargain. I even used a military discount and still ended up paying well over what I thought my final charge would be.

This was my first time staying at a pet friendly hotel. I was fully expecting to deal with less than immaculate accommodations based on some of the reviews I read but I didn't have much choice. I was delighted that the room was clean and fresh and the bathroom was immaculate. There was a microwave and a refrigerator in the room and I felt safe when I had to take my dogs out at 3:00 am. The staff was helpful and I will definitely stay here again. The Mexican restaurant next door was also good and accommodated me with a takeout order placed 5 minutes before clisung.

We stayed here for one night on our way home to WI from TX. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the bed was fantastic! However, the bathroom needed updates, and the stairways were dismal. The locked access parking lot made us feel more comfortable with leaving a car dull of our belongings unattended, and the security guards are this place get a 5/5 star review. Those guy's were great! The locked access parking lot does fill up before the hotel does though, so if you want to park behind a locked gate, arrive earlier in the night. We slept through breakfast, unfortunately, I wish they kept it open just a little bit later.

When we first arrived we would have turned around and walked out if we could have canceled the reservation without loosing our money. We walked in to hear a conversation between the front desk and a guest about someone coming into their room while they were out. The front desk person could not have cared less. When we were checking in I inquired about the rewards program and was told I could look it up myself.

Check-in was very fast & convenient. The location to the airport was great and the hotel shuttle runs beginning at 5am, so if you have an early flight definitely consider this hotel, since most shuttle service don't start until 7am. The only negative is there isn't much food options near the hotel.

Room not up to standards. Bathroom dirty, spilled something on the bed the housekeeper came made the bed up with the red sauce still on the sheets never changed them, did not vacuum no toilet paper no nothing. Housekeeper went theough our belongings. Front desk person has no knowledge on customer service… management Mr Patel? Too afraid to show up on his property or to let staff make decisions. Poor poor management I wasted $284.26. Never again not at 2, star hotel.

Day time front desk staff has obvious negative attitude and is lacking basic common courtesy and communication skills required in the hospitality business. On separate occasions about petty requests/inquiries with two different employees I was conciously refused eye contact, refused to be verbally acknowledged when asking for a replacement key, and met with a nonverbal facial expression of contempt when I approached the counter (aka resting b1tch face with head-tilt). On a positive note, room was generally clean.

Called to check on room availability at 12:00am today, was put on hold. After 30 minutes I hung up and tried calling back. The phone continued to ring for a few minutes then someone picked up and hung up without saying anything. This happened twice in a row. I guess they don't want my business and won't even tell me that.

I'm giving a one star don't get me wrong the hotel is clean but u had to end up staying 2 days because my flight was cancelled due to weather and it did not cancel until I checker out and got to the airport. So I'm a travel agent and I called back to the hotel to asked them if they could give me the same rate I had the night before, the man on the phone with a very strong accent said yes of course we have rooms available. I said no I'm asking about the rate and kept saying yes sure. So I took a cab back to the hotel and I said so I can get the same rate right. He said yes again. After he swiped my card and checked me in I look on the paper to see that it was not the same rate and I stated that and he said ohhhhhhhhhh in sorry. I told him that's why I kept asking to make sure and then that's when he clearly says no its 95+tax. I'm so upset because had he done that to one of my clients that would not be good. So this morning a call down for transfer to airport. When transportation pulled up I asked was he going to the airport. I guess he didn't have his coffee this morning or woke up to early. With a bad attitude and just said no and kept walking. Just rude. I have never as a travel agent been treated this way at any hotel.

This is by far the WORST la Quinta I've stayed in and I stay in MANY all around the country without ever having to complain! I've been here 3 nights and only continued to stay because the room was ok and thought I'd be leaving the next day. The MAIN problem is management and the staff always gives a reply that makes the problems not their fault! The TV is terrible (bad picture, multiple channels of some channels, not many channels, their guide is totally wrong) toilet stays stopped up, gate code changes without notification, the manager won't talk to you to address complaints an on and on and on too many things to list! This place needs to lose their franchise! I will complain about this place as long as I am able for years to come!

Nice place. A little expensive for what it is, but I'd stay there again if I was passing through Memphis.

This La Quinta has gone through some renovations and is very nice. The staff was friendly, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. Overall it was a good value.

Okay hotel for the price. Comfortable and affordable. Wifi and free breakfast. There is some noise from the road but not too much. Gated parking in the back of the hotel. Overall a decent hotel.

Inn iss under renovation. Located between a UPS truck hub and a concrete station. No advice published on the renovation in process, however cancelation.

(Updated on August 16, 2015) — — Stayed here again for Elvis week 2015, and really have had no complaints aside from the hotel's Wi-Fi. The problem I faced was, we where on the 6th floor, and I tend to think this may have played a part in the issue, but every 15 to 45 minutes the Wi-Fi becomes unusable, literally, it stays connected just the internet stops working, and it stays off for up to 5 minutes every time it happens. This has happened off and on the whole week we are here. I did go and complain once, but nothing was done, so I bared with it until checkout as it likely wont get sorted anyway. I need to state, there is nothing else wrong with this hotel, nothing at all. Minus the lack of security for where it happens to be located, but really there are no other issues. If they can get the Wi-Fi situation taken care of it will be a near perfect place to stay.

8 miles from beale st. Good value. Spacious suites. Seasonal pool. Hot breakfast. Only cardio gym. No weights. Loud guests. Poor tv.

If there was a 0 star it would have been given to the Bates motel, I mean LA Quinta. This is by far the most abhorrent hotel I have ever stayed at. I stayed here on the way to Nashville with my girlfriend. As we were traveling with a dog we were limited to hotels that would allow pets. are night started out with crack head knocking on our door which eventually got chased off by security. *** this hotel is a stones throw from one the most drug infested communities in the country named clementine ***. once we finally settled into bed we established that the thermostat was not working and simply provided heat or air conditioning upon demand causing us to wake up and adjust as it was either to cold or too hot. finally upon waking up we were graced with the presence of long pubic hairs in the tub and on the soap in the sink causing us to pass on a shower. I felt Like I should have been paid to stay here. This is by far the most unhygienic unsafe hotel I have ever stayed and it would not recommend it to anyone who is not a prostitute, heroin or crack addict. big fail LA Quinta props goes out to Bernadette (manager/security guard/front desk/concierge/ enforcer) for laying a smack down on the intruder.

We had a spacious room with large bathroom. It is located close to the airport. Gated parking made our car secure. Continental breakfast in the morning till nine.

My boyfriend and I were traveling to Nashville, and stayed in Memphis to see the Elvis estate along the way. Great location to the attraction, and close to Beale Street. Bed was super comfy! Price was great! Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating! Only con is road noise if you are a light sleeper. Gated parking made us feel our belongings in the car were secure.

Clean room, good location. Easy on and off I-240 with short easy trip to airport. Friendly staff and good breakfast. All good except TV. Limited channels with terrible reception.

Overall nice hotel. Staff is courteous, helpful, and bubbly. Everyone smiles. Room cleaned, throughly, daily. Little noisy outside during mid morning (8-9) due to company beside hotel. Enjoyed my stay and would come again. LQ Yayyyyy.

Although the front desk crew is pretty friendly, it doesn't make up for the fact that this hotel is a dump. After watching T. V. For a few hours, I pulled back the comforter to get into bed and instantly saw pubic hair and a bodily fluid stain on the headboard. I checked out and went up the road to another LQ that wasn't such a crap hole. The GM at this place needs to be shot out a cannon. He actually has the audacity to say that the room wasn't stained and in fact I'm a liar because it was cleaned. As anyone else reading the reviews below can see, this place has a history of being unclean. Be advised to take your money elsewhere. There are cheaper hotels that allow pets that won't give you exotic diseases from random guys' man-gravy on your headboard.
