My boyfriend and I came from Indianapolis to visit our family for the holidays. I was suggested this hotel from booking. Com based off two accommodations, free breakfast and dog friendly. I have a small shih tzu that is family as well so that part was extremely important to me. I booked this hotel via telephone with bookibg. Com. And after they matched me with an accommodating hotel, I paid for the entire stay via my debit card. I arrived at the hotel and furnished the hotel worker with my confirmation and I was set. My boyfriend and I then unpacked our things and bring in our baby* (shih tzu) Duchess. The hotel worker stopped us and stated "you can not be in that room with that dog, my manager will charge you $100 and also not refund you your $55 incidentals fee. I was puzzled by her statement as we were recommended and explained our accommodations prior to entering or paying for the room. She then stated "I will call you to see what he says but most likely he will charge you for having a dog " An hour passed and she calls stating we have to move rooms now and he is going to charge us $15 a day for having her. That would be a total of $90. I was deeply saddened by the lack of hospitality and considering the fact I was never told about this fee. But nevertheless, we paid it because we are 500+ miles away from home. The hotel never took our time as valuable as we had to pack up everything and move.

Clean rooms, good customer service, breakfast was not the best didn't get too many options since I don't eat pork. There was a scent of weed smoke at the front of the room hallway but service and cleanliness was good.

Location to highway was good. Hotel was very dated and while not exactly dirty, it didn't feel exactly spotless either. Cobwebs in the corners of the bathroom and room, dingy paint in the bathroom. Breakfast was hot & pretty good. The man at the front desk was friendly, and was there when we checked in, in the evening, and when we checked out in the morning.

The smell of Marijuana smoke was terrible and really bad in the hotel hallway on the 1st floor but the room itself was good! It was surprisingly quiet except for loud noise from slamming the door next door around 5:45am.

I use Quality Inns frequently, knowing that they are not top line properties. This one, however, set a new low for the brand. During check in, the clerk carried on a cell phone conversation with someone — ON SPEAKER! The conversation was in another language, I have no idea who he was talking to. I thought maybe it was something urgent, but then later in the evening witnessed the same thing as he checked in another customer. During check in I was not recognized as a Choice Rewards member, or offered the points or gift Elite Members receive. The room was not very clean. My wife had to clean the toilet seat before using it. There was mold around the bathtub caulking. The carpet was almost sticky. The only reason we did not leave was that we needed to get sleep and leave early the next day. Breakfast was another issue. I have never seen food kept hot in a commercial setting by placing the metal containers on a home style electric griddle. The eggs (dry and crumbly) were barely hot, many of the sausages were cold as were the biscuits. I microwaved my food. As we ate breakfast I noticed the server was the clerk from the previous night. He went from one task to another and back to food service without washing hands. And to top it off? This non-smoking property had the smell of freshly smoked weed near our room. I will not be back to this location.

I guess sometimes you really do get what you pay for. It's cheap and it shows. Everything is a little dirty and run down. Lobby and hallways are dimly lit. Had to slam our room door to get it to close. Breakfast was not good. No milk or eggs even though there were spots for them. Apple juice was very watered down. No exercise room even though it's listed on their website. I think you can find a much better hotel for the same price.

I usually never write reviews but I had to with the experience I had here on June 23rd at 3:30pm-this morning at 10:30am. When I walked in the lobby, there was an odd smell. The check in took forever for some reason. When I finally got my room (109), the bed wasn’t made, there were dirty towels, it was a smoking room when I asked for nonsmoking. I walked right out and told the employee and they gave me 137. It was a lot better and the beds are super comfy. I had the breakfast this morning and ended up with food poisoning 4 hours later. I called to make a complaint and proceeded to tell me I was wrong and they weren’t going to do anything about it. Customer service was terrible and the halls have an odor.

Loved staying here. It's near lots of fast food restaurants. They have delicious hot free breakfast. The rooms are very decent and the cleaning service is excellent.

Exterior was considerably nicer than other nearby hotels. Location was in "sketchy" area. Room was showing signs of wear. 2 burned out light bulbs in room. Bright white LED bulbs made room feel cold and clinical rather than homey. Room was large. Staff was friendly.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The rooms also have little refrigerators in them, which makes taking left overs back with you an easy thing. The rooms met all of our basic needs. Just don't drink the orange juice in the morning. It was the most disgusting thing.

Very cheap rates for a comfortable and Clean suite. Very Satisfied!

We loved it. It was exactly what we were looking for smoking room with whirlpool Staff super helpful and friendly.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Memphis for a few days and had no complaints. We had doubts at first from the looks of the lobby but were pleasantly surprised once we got to our room. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, and the shower water was hot. They replaced our towels daily and made our bed. Would stay here again if we needed to!

I book through Priceline and this was suppose to be a 2 1/2 star hotel. I think I am being generous by saying it is a 1 1/2 star hotel. To start off with the whole 1st floor smelled like an ashtray. My room was suppose to be non-smoking room, the sign stated it was a non smoking room, but like the 1st floor my room too smelled like an ashtray. It was so by that I could not sleep well because of the stale smoke smell kicked my allergies in over drive. There was rust all over the air conditioner and rust on my bed side lamp. HOW do you get rust on a bed side lamp? To say that this hotel is outdated is understating the up keep of this hotel. If you had to stay in your car or this hotel I might would pick the car.

The hotel room was clean, and cheap. The Wi-Fi was also strong with a fast speed. Nothing fancy but the hotel is fine for a quick stay.

I had to change rooms initially because a roach was strolling around on the bathroom counter when I walked in. The building is in need of an update and very little effort was put into breakfast, everything was cold except the milk which I'm pretty sure shouldn't be warm. If you're really tired, this is a place to sleep, nothing more.

Large spacious room. Comfy bed. Non smoking rooms are close to smoking rooms so the hallway can smell like smoke sometimes. Careful with the hot water, it can get too hot fast if you’re not careful. Overall good stay. It’s only about a 15 — 20 minute drive to Graceland or Beale Street which is nice.

REALLY hot water. Okay breakfast. Their toaster needs some oil. Beds are a bit hard for my liking. They did chanhe rooms when we accidentally booked a smoking room vs a none smoking room.

We stayed at the Quality Inn & Suites East Memphis. The hotel was very clean and well kept. The beds were a little tough to. Sleep on, but other than that we had a good stay. The breakfast was the usual breakfast and any hotel with a full breakfast.

Very nice place to stay. Clean, quiet, safe, and close to many business. Will stay there again in a few weeks with our business travels.

Fine hotel, front desk person was nice. Don't ask for a roll away or any consideration unless you booked directly with their website. Breakfast was good.

Fist size hole in wall. Shower hardly drains. Hot becomes scolding while showering randomly. Every outlet is showing behind wall due to drywall being cut wrong. Entire wall near my desk is bowed out. Many stains in carpeting. Staff was very nice.

Very low par rooms. The last one we were in had many issues: my mates had a large yellow stain on the outer part, the smoke detector was missing (in a smoking room), the freezer was filled by an ice block, there was mold on the gaskets for the freezer and fridge doors, the drawer handles were missing, the front plastic layer on the microwave door was missing, the bath fan didn't work and was molded and the worst part was the response… "I can't do anything tonight but give you the hot tub room but it will cost a lot more. " Don't waste your money.

Great hotel, good breakfast, Great rooms, good staff.

The rooms are decent. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The downstairs area smelled funny but it overall was a okay stay.

Friendly staff. Clean, nicely arranged, large rooms. Easy access from parking lot to rooms.

I enjoyed a spacious room with good service at a standard room price for many of the other brands. Check out one of the suites next time you're in Memphis.

It was great. The staff is awesome and room was clean. Bed was a little form for me but probably perfect for so everyone else (that is why the 4 stars, it is my feeling on this hotel). I would definitely come again next time in town as for the price and convince it can not be beat.

Location kind of sucks. If you're looking to go to Beale Street, this is about 30 minutes away. It's a rundown area, however, there is some great food and a place called Main Event within 10 minutes, that was super awesome. Rooms are clean, but common areas are rough. Place smells of old smoke, like they've just recently gone non smoking. It's cheap if you just need a place to crash for a night. They make popcorn.

Very comfortable, easy on /off. Quiet, good AC. We have used this hotel 3 times while visiting our son in midtown Memphis, have never been disappointed. Even used the points we collected with Choice Hotels and got a free night!

We didnt get the rooms we requested. Not enough staff. It was very difficult to get extra blankets and towels. The pool area was unkempt. The table umbrella was broken. The table and chairs were dirty. They allowed people to swim after hours. The hotel itself was not welcoming. We wont go there again!

They also had hard-boiled eggs, Oatmeal and a selection of hot teas available. Great value! Will recommend to others and we will stay here again when we come back to Memphis!

I have stayed at this location at least a dozen times in the past year and the staff is friendly and efficient. Breakfast is always full of tasteful choices. The price is right! Do not hesitate to stay at this location.

A wonderful overnight get away. I booked a week in advance to surprise the wife with the smoking / Jacuzzi suite and neither of us was disappointed. The grounds are clean and well kept. The common areas are clean and orderly. We arrived around noon and were able to check in early. Everything in the room was clean and in order.

The only reason we didn't rate the breakfast is because we slept too late and breakfast time was over! We got there early and were very tired and the front desk went out of their way to get our room ready early. The room was cool and clean, beds were clean and comfy. Great stay.

Newly renovated interior, modern flat screen with digital cable, hot items at the breakfast bar, and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in all year. Definitely using again.
