What a beautiful hotel and the service was outstanding. The staff remembered our names, they were great with our kid and rooms and hotel were very clean and spacious. We slept well, the beds were comfortable and the concierge assisted us in finding a place for dinner that delivered and would have options for all of us. The Worlds Fair park was a good running around spot to get some travel zoomies out and the Sunsphere is basically on property. We were very well attended to for one night stay guests. Our kid was queen of the lobby as we waited for our car, which came ho from valet very quickly and this was the true embodiment of southern hospitality and the people must love to work there because it was always a happy gracious atmosphere.

Outstanding personal service, the Team at this hotel are so respectful and courteous, they can’t do enough for their guests. Highly recommend.

I love this place! A beautiful hotel right on the skirts of the World’s Fair Park, it is a delight for those who enjoy a good morning walk. Their bar has extraordinary drinks and the staff is delightful. Definitely a thumbs up!

The Tennessean is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are a nice size. Customer service great. They have a car service that will take you within 3 miles. You can walk to a lot of the restaurants from the hotel within 10 mins. I would love to come back. They also offer turn down service. Valet parking is $27 a night. They offer a free internet service and a premium one which is $10.00 for 24 hours. The rooms were clean a big plus.

Beautiful hotel. Very friendly staff. Great area. Our room was just amazing and had a great view. The drawing room was comfortable and the bar staff were all smiles. The food was the best ive had and the drinks were perfect. Very thoughtful amenities. Best part was stepping outside and seeing KISS Caboose across the street waiting to give a tour around town. Spoke with Gina from KISS and she gave us a amazing tour and shuttle ride. The only one offered but definitely worth every minute. A must for anyone in the area.

I wish I could leave this 0 stars. I was under the impression that this would be super luxury and top 5 star. I show up around midnight due to a dinner running late and we roll in. I immediately think something is wrong. It’s basically located in a hood area in Knoxville and has street people all over and the two rooms we had all the lights didn’t work right and the rooms were literally over 80 degrees upon entering them. The only positive for me? They had a Tesla charger. I would have left otherwise. Ps: if you made it this far, I got a refund from my credit card company already so im not writing this to hope to get a call or refund and I don’t plan to remove it. This is a warning to all those who plan to come here. Stay away and thank me later.

Everything so perfect and clean loved the huge bathroom and shower the front desk guy mentioned us by name when we stepped out
Only suggestion possibly clean the windows on the inside would give that extra clean look possibly just try soap & water or even vinegar & water

I love this hotel… They make sure you have an amazing stay. I have to say staying at The Tennessean is also a very unique experience. The staff is professional yet extremely personable and kind as well. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and I were taken of. She felt like a princess with the hotel turn down service and slippers. The hotel rooms and dining room is beautifully decorated and clean. I can’t recommend this hotel enough! We will be back!

Claire and Chaney are extraordinary bartenders. They are two of the reasons why we come to the Tennessean.

The staff and property are great. The place exudes relaxation. The Drawing Room is a wonderful place for food and drink.

After a horrific attempt at check in at a nearby hotel, we walked over to The Tennessean and got a room there. The staff was unbelievably kind. Eric, who checked us in, was a delight. The concierge offered to try to get us a refund from the other hotel. Gorgeous hotel! Amazing staff…

Absolutely worth every penny! The rooms are gorgeous in design and everything from the bed, sitting chairs, to bath towels are pure luxury. I normally do not fall asleep easily and I fell asleep in minutes and slept soundly every night. That alone was a treat. The shower was gorgeous and relaxing; the bathroom was plenty spacious. The staff everywhere are so friendly and helpful, we were greeted happily with warm hellos and sent off with well wishes every time we arrived or left. Even from the moment we booked over the phone, to the welcome emails, to calling the night before for a special request the staff was top notch. I mentioned briefly in an email to Hannah a special occasion and the concierge team took the time to leave a celebratory note and delicious treats in our room for our arrival. Breakfast in the drawing room was delicious, the set up is elegant and comfortable. Varnel greeted us two mornings and was just a delight to talk with, he made breakfast even more enjoyable. He is one reason we returned, we enjoyed a nice chat with breakfast. The valet service was always quick and accommodating, I was hesitant when I saw some of them were younger boys but they were courteous and polite every time. As first time visitors, I wouldn't say we liked Knoxville as much as other cities, but I would come back just to stay here! I could go on and on, every detail was perfect.

Fabulous from arrival to departure. Excellent customer service, easy check in, great food in the lounge. Loved the breakfast & our waiter was terrific. The suite was beautiful, spotless & comfy bed. Love & will return.

A gorgeous grand hotel thoughtfully decorated from floor to ceiling with local artistian pieces of art that incorporate all the things that make Tennessee great, located in beautiful downtown Knoxville next to the sun sphere. Best shower, towels and pillows. The bed was not so comfortable and we were not told about the fee for parking. The Tennesseean should invest in its own shuttle. We had to use the Holiday Inn shuttle located next door to go to Ruth Chris for dinner. We thought for not having a separate sitting area in our room, it was a bit pricey. All the staff were exquisite and all did a stellar job.

It is a very luxurious Hotel that is location is a part of the Holiday Office Buildings. The renovations that were done to those Office Buildings whom ever the owners are they are really thought this one out. My room host classic colors of white, grey, and beige. The bed slept wonderfully I would however like to have a little softer pillow than they had on the beds and it was plenty of pillows very good grade and it was very comfy
I know that's just my taste as far as softness!
Everybody that work there were well-groomed
Everyone from the maitre d to the front desk The clothes were on the staff was meticulous and that is a good sign that the rest of the hotel is going to be.
First impressions are everything! Hotel has been open since the April of 2017
The whole hotel is the best-kept secret in Knoxville check it out!

What a wonderful place to stay — from the valet, housekeeping, lounge and the front desk all exceptional — not to mention the location is perfect. I will definitely return and suggest that if you planning a stay in Knoxville The Tennessean is the best choice.
