No water pressure and the room felt it had a lot of moisture (humid). Wasn’t as clean as I would have expected.

Big shout out to the guy serving beverages outside the ball room tonight in the hallway. Awesome job! Great place.

Rude desk agent at checkin. She wasn't in a uniform, Tommy Hilfiger shirts are SO professional. When I checked in she asks, "why you here? " I pretty much said excuse you?! A better worded question would be, what brings you town, instead why you here, which comes off as incredibly rude. NASTY NASTY NASTY ROOMS! I am a Hampton Inn General Manager and this hotel is embarrassing to be in the Hilton umbrella. Mold in the shower caulking and tiles, hair on the desk/counters, tub has a clogged drain (which is disgusting to realize when you're taking a shower), floors are filthy, only 2 bath towels in the room, housekeeping didn't even clean the fridge. All of these issues are simple fixes, a few hours work. I'm not even asking to switch rooms because the others will be just as bad. There's even mold on the bathroom door handles! I did not pick this hotel myself, but I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone. I used to manage another hotel in this town and used to refer people here when we were sold out. I sure regret that because this hotel did not get this bad overnight, it's been this way for a while. Don't book here, choose one of the other Hiltons until ownership gets it together.

I made reservations over the phone, asked for two rooms beside each other, asked what time the pool closed. They said yes. If not right beside, they would be close. He also noted that the pool closed at 10 pm. We wouldn’t be arriving until 8 pm. I just wanted to make sure my daughter would have time to swim. I get here, and the front desk lady was very rude. I wasn’t aware of the $15 deposit bc the total for the room vs. What I was quoted on the phone was two different amounts. When I asked, she acted as I should already know.
I looked at the paper they had, and it said the pool closed at 9 pm. One room was on the 1st floor, and my other room was on the 4th. So moving on from that, we get to our rooms. 2 adults in one room and one adult and one child in the second room. The first room has one towel, two wash rags, and two hand towels. The second room didn’t have a towel, three wash rags, three hand towels, and a bath mat. I asked for more towels, and she informed me that they are short on staff and wouldn’t have any ready. WOWAAAHH Really? We go to the pool and take two towels from there so we can at least shower. The following day, my daughter wanted to go swimming. We come to the pool, no towels. I ask for a towel, and again, they have no idea when they will get more towels! HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN? All night, you had time to wash towels. Why did I pay $220 a night for a hotel to not be able to take a shower bc there are no towels?

I will NEVER recommend, nor will I EVER stay at this awful hotel. They ignore Diamond policies and instead use their own policies. They are disingenuous (they lie). They are small minded and unprofessional. Only someone who travels infrequently would recommend this “hotel”. History—I lived in Jackson 15 yrs ago and supported the hotel. So, the new management is clearly the problem. I complained to Hilton and it is clear this hotel knows there is nothing they can do. Well, I will tell anyone who will listen to stay ANYWHERE but here.

Came here for a wedding, was told we could check in by 3 waited over in the lobby over an hour and was told that even though we booked 3 months in advance that they didn’t know when the rooms would be ready. AIR CONDITIONER SUCKS a window unit from Walmart works better than the junk they have in the windows. I’m sorry but 180$ a night isn’t worth this place at all.

Power went out. Room service took forever and the pool was closed for some reason. 🤷‍♀️ weird spray stain on the ceiling and didn't smell thag clean. Also someone was smoking weed right across the hall. Didn't really enjoy it.

Stay here often when visiting in town. Friendly staff who go above and beyond. Clean rooms and always have a great stay!

Hotel wrongfully accused my family of stealing towels and linen from the room and charged my 68 year old mother's credit card $90! After several calls, the GM stated that his head of housekeeping was right and the charge will stand. You better hand deliver your linen to the front desk! Terrible customer service!

Long afternoon and evening on the road and needed a place to stop for the night. Grabbed a room at the double tree and had one of the best night shift (2am) desk service experiences I've had. You can see the effort that the staff is putting into upgrades and hosting the girl amenities. I would stay here again.

My weekend stay at this hotel was horrible. The carpets were dirty, sheets were dingy, the pillows stunk, the bathroom door didn't close nor did it have ano exhaust system in it. The ceiling in the lobby was leaking and they had 4 buckets under the leak. I expected better from this franchise!

Overall good experience. Aimee, at the front desk has a happy attitude and willing to help. Missed the usual breakfast offering I get as a diamond member. Wondering what happened…

I stopped by early and they had my room ready! Old hotel that needs new carpet in the hallways, but my room was very nice.
Only suggestion is to add a waste can by the desk. Only one in the room. Thanks for the signature chocolate chip cookie!

Check in was a breeze and the warm cookies didn't hurt either. I was disappointed that there was no free breakfast but knew that before I made the reservations. There is a restaurant attached though. The towels were nice and the room tidy. There was a stain on one of the pillows so that was off putting. The room has a nice window unit for the hot Tennessee days. I stayed at a two star hotel the night before and enjoyed my room much better and was a cheaper price point.

Nice front desk staff. Attentive to customers. Rooms were clean. Slept like a baby!

Booked 2 rooms for a 2 day stay. The first thing we noticed was breakfast trays in the hall plus a good sized fan. This was late afternoon. Hall carpeting needed to be cleaned. Room was quiet, adequate. Pool itself seemed to be maintained, although there were a couple of roof leaks. Plenty of towels were provided. The breakfast buffet and service was good.

Amazing staff! Morgan checked us in quickly and was extremely helpful. Jeremy and Hailey are very sweet and helpful. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, pool was beautiful.

Stopped for the night on a road trip to Dallas. Place had everything to be expected, clean room, friendly staff, and warm cookies at check-in. Never underestimate the power of a warm cookie late at night. No problems with check out. The only issue is finding out how to turn on lights in the room. Do hotels think finding light switches at night is entertainment? But then this hotel is not alone in this.

Called from the road to book two rooms. Clerk was extremely helpful and booked us with no problems. When we got there, the check-in clerk went the extra mile and gave us a bereavement rate as we were coming home from a funeral. Rooms were nice. Breakfast was pricey but good.

First stay was better than the second. Bumped the stars down due to drainage issues (standing water, halfway up my calf, in the tub that wouldn't drain). Toothpaste splats running down the door inside and out, and a big blob on the wall. (Photos available. ) While I don't look for issues these are glaring and the staff should have seen it. I was given "points" as compensation. Lol Thanks. First stay: Sharice made my stay absolutely terrific! She was the first person to greet me and the last person to bid me farewell. She asked about my stay and I said it was noisy (outside of my window — revelers, reveling). She made it right for me — and I do appreciate it. The room was great, love the pillows. Might think about working a bit on details in corners of the restroom.

The staff are great. The hotel itself leaves a bit to be desired. This is my second stay in the last 3 weeks, but I didn't review the first go round. That stay was a bit more pleasant. This trip is less so for a few reasons. The rooms are a bit outdated, including the pillows and bedding. When walking into the room you don't get a freshly cleaned smell, instead it's a bit stale. Think it's time for a reno for this hotel.

This would have been 5 star because I stay at Hilton pretty often and always have an overall pretty great experience but this is the only time I haven't been able to say that. It was so hot and muggy inside the entire hotel that it was beyond uncomfortable. We were part of a dental show on a Saturday so myself and 3 other people I work with drove up Friday night and all 4 had a similar experience of overall not being able to cool our rooms enough to compensate and be comfortable. About an hour into the lectures we had to insist they turn the air on so that the ~225 or so people wouldn't be miserable. They bumped the air from 78 to 76 and it didn't do much, but it was a little more bearable. I hate to be sweaty in business clothes. The most redeeming thing they have was the restaurant inside the hotel is great and have great service! And the event catering was delicious, which was also from this restaurant.

My nephew has his first birthday party there. They had an attendant in the room to clean up and restock food. The employees were very nice and helpful with all questions. Very accommodating.

There Jackson DoubleTree might be an older hours but it has beautiful charm, warmth and and spacious, family friendly fun for all. Dining at The Twist was great for our family as the weather was cold and the food was delicious. Friendly, helpful employees all around. Great place!

Really enjoyed this hotel. They have the greatest pillow top mattresses on their beds! We slept like babies and got a great night's rest. We had dinner at their restaurant and all the food was delicious. Great waitress and waiter, who treated us like we were special people. We visit this area frequently and we will be going back to this wonderful place!

Inquired about an early check-in before we arrived. We were informed they would notate that on our account. Get here 20 minutes early and informed check-in was promptly at 4pm. Trash lying in the lobby sitting areas. We wait until 4pm and then get told we would have to continue to wait. Going on twenty minutes now.

The desk clerks were friendly and the room was clean with a king size bed. The bar downstairs in the hotel is a nice addition. However, the room opposite had ordered room service and the dirty trays were sitting outside of their room before I checked in and they were still sitting there when I checked out. Also, the room temperature doesn't change much no matter what you set it to.

Nice hotel. Stayed for 2 nights while working at a site in Humboldt. Conveniently located next to bypass. Close to restaurants and everything else you may need. Restaurant at lobby, very friendly staff, delicious food, good service.

I am very impressed with this Hotel and their Reservationist Ginger. I and my husband recently stayed at this location for a convention. Ginger went above and beyond what she had to to get us moved from a hotel just down the road from this location that was not in the best of conditions. Ginger is a true trooper and love this women to death. She is a great asset to this Hotel and the company who owns it.

It's an older hotel, pretty. Needs some work in the rooms, closet doors come off the track. Night time clerk could use some coaching on how to welcome guest and be pleasant. It was midnight, I was tired, not irritable until dealing with her. My key didn't work on the side door, I asked if it was just the door or the key, she said probably the door, that my key would work on the room. I have a large suitcase and couple of other bags, traveling alone, for about 2 weeks. I really didn't want to go up to find out the key didn't work there. Sent security up to let me in, said they'd bring the key up to me. (huh? but ok). Went to my room… waited. Waited… I wanted to go to bed, not wait for my key. Finally got it. Restaurant staff is friendly.

Wife had class reunion and the Double tree was selected. Ready to take us as soon as called. Ballroom was great and just the right side. The air was a little warm as the A/C cou5ldnt cool as well as what was needed. The food and buffet line was awesome. Great deserts as well. Rooms were spacious and well stocked with coffee, towels, and toiletries. Had the Sunday brunch buffet the next day and was surprised at how much they offered for such a low price. Food was awesome and staff both nights and days were spectacular. I understand why so many regulars on the Sunday brunch keep coming back.

Great hotel conveniently located right off the interstate. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is courteous and helpful.

Very nice, comfortable hotel. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, be was comfortable. Although I didn't swim, the pool looked clean. I ate breakfast of the menu in the restaurant. Food and service were not great but ok. Several restaurants in the area and the hotel is located fairly close to the interstate. I've stayed here before and would stay here again.

The service was great. Everyone was so nice and attentive. The rooms was clean and nice. It was all around a great experience.

Probably one of if not the best hotels in a poorer area. Staff was extremely friendly, room smelled like fresh washed sheets, furnishings appeared new. Would stay again.

Rooms are nice but kind of small. We asked for 3 rooms with 2 double beds in each but received 2 king rooms and 1 double bed room. Great prices for everything being booked for the solar eclipse.

Nice, clean rooms with big showers and bathrooms. Hotel restaurant is nice and has a bar that's open till 11. Pretty central location makes it easy to get around Jackson and plenty of parking and friendly staff.

Great. Nice accommodations and great, reasonable restaurant on site. We had driven over 600 miles that day. It was wonderful to stay at a lovely hotel with a great restaurant.

Professional medical conference did not stay in a room. Was provided lunch and snacks. Great experience.

Wow. We are a travel sports family and spend almost every weekend in a hotel… all Hilton properties. We were shocked at how bad this hotel was. Dirty. Slow. Check in lines were long just to find out no rooms were ready. Hotel restaurant was slow. Breakfast the next day ran out of food 20 minutes before they closed. My son couldn't even get a bowl of cereal as they told him they were out of bowls and made no attempt to try to get him one. Just " out of bowls". That's it. There is a Hampton inn close by. If You are a Hilton diamond member, go there. Stay away from this place. Worst hotel experience we have had in years.

Although it may not be a 5-Star hotel, the experience was worth 5-stars. The only negatives I encountered was the fact that there were some updates needed to the decor and some of the furnishings, but that was the only thing I found. The staff was very welcoming, the food at the restaurant for breakfast was fantastic and the room was very well cleaned. I stayed on the 1st floor during my visit. From the greeting when I walked in to the moment I checked out, I cannot complain about my visit. Well done.

Loved our stay here! Clean, courteous, and convenient. The hotel is located directly off the highway and easy to get to! Upon arrival, we were offered cookies and were chosen as guests of the day (so they gave us free breakfast for the next day). There was fresh, good coffee at the front as well. I'm a stickler for clean rooms, and I didn't have a single complaint. We chose this hotel because, honestly, for the price there are hardly any good reviewed hotels in the area. We are road tripping, so out of our 3 hotels, we thought this one would be the worse: to our surprise, it was just the opposite. I'll gladly stay here next time. Only con was the outdated choices of wallpaper and paint. Some wallpaper was peeling, but again everything was clean.

Location wise, this is a good hotel. Nothing fancy, just good overall hotel. They do not offer a free breakfast, however they have a very delicious $9 breakfast buffet that is definitely worth it. When checking in, you do receive a very delicious cookie.

So clean. The bathrooms smell great. The pool is heated they will turn it up if it's not warm enough for you. The food is great and fulfilling. Room service!

This doubletree is an amazing hotel. They worked extra hard to accommodate to our school and find us room to run our program. Ok top of that, it is just beatiful, the lobby, the rooms, and the pool. Great decision to stay there!

I'm really surprised Hilton allows this hotel to stay in the Hilton brand of hotels. It's a doubletree and it is dire need of renovation. The rooms were renovated probably in last few years but it's obvious the minimum was completed and so they still look old. The public spaces like the restaurant, lobby and the hall ways are circa 1989s chic. The wait staff in the restaurant are listless and seem bored. The management of this hotel is in need of an upgrade. I guess all this is why the rates were among the lowest in the area. If you can't ensure repeat business then go to the bottom with the rates for those who will stay once because it's a Hilton brand, and you expect more from Hilton.

I stay at the double tree because it's close to a few restaurants (including the one built in), the place I work, and is reasonably priced for the area. It's definitely aging and shows it at times, but still feels a little more upscale. Staff has been friendly each time I stay, and the area seems perfectly safe. My biggest complaints are the lack of parking when they have events (I've had to park off site and walk! ), and the condition of some of the rooms (air conditioner rattling or not keeping up, toilet running constantly). One hidden bonus of this hotel is the deal they have with a fully equipped local gym. While there is a remodeled fitness room on site, the gym they partner with even has a track and a pool for swimming laps!

Went to a Christmas party here. The food was great, and waiters were prompt.

Stayed on the Hilton Honors floor, room was quaint but the staff was nice. The renovations were definitely noticed. All in all, I would recommend staying at the DoubleTree if you are in Jackson.

Accessible parking has a ramp to sidewalk that is not accessible unless there is no car in that accessible parking spot. Hand rails in the bathroom were only behind toilet so unable to use if in a wheelchair. Furniture large and overhanging space where wheelchair needs to move.

A 2.5 hour drive to near Jackson for our daughters wedding, half way there Doubletree called us to tell us they are bumping our first night reserved room. Said they had maintenance probs. They comped a room for us at the Comfort Suites down the road. Found out from other guests they bumped us because they had a huge sports team come in and so… they bumped us. This is unacceptable and unprofessional, yes they comped us a room at another place, still no excuse. 2nd night we checked in at Doubletree… The whole experience on the phone with these people the day before when they bumped our room was exhausting, we had to call back and call back and call back even had to keep calling back the 2nd day to check in early… Doubletree nice, but not that nice. No continental breakfast, 2 coffee canisters in the lobby that were empty. The bar/grill rest… we tried going in at 10:35 to get a nite cap, they said sorry last call was at 10:30, we close at 11:00. It was clear they did not want to serve us… we sat in the lobby chatting with friends… at 11:00 guests came walking out with full drinks when the place closed… I guess the last call wasn't for people already sitting there. They served people sitting there up until there ridiculously early closing time of 11:00pm. ***If you in this area go to Comfort Suites instead, 5 star, friendly, full continental hot breakfast. This Doubletree needs a reboot… they should take lessons from Comfort Suites.

Outdated facility with newer amenities. Large TV and bed makes it a preferred choice over the more expensive hampton down the road. Always under construction. Poor workout facilities/conference rooms.

Very dissapointing! The only good thing about this hotel is the restaurant. Where do I start, booked a two day stay for my family and upon check-in requested a crib/pack and play for my infant. Five hours later we still did not have a place for the infant to sleep. After multiple calls and visits to the front desk they produced a crib that was not even close to being up to current standards. They did not even have a crib sheet for it; all they provided was a regular twin bed sheet. My wife and I refused to allow our infant to sleep on it with the possibility of suffocation. They informed us that they only had two cribs and they had to dig this one out of storage beneath a bunch of boxes. On top of all that, they supposedly cleaned the room the next day but did not leave any freshly laundered towels. They did however leave their nasty, dirty cleaning rags in our bathroom and the shower curtain half attached. When asked for clean towels it took over an hour for them to deliver such items. When confronted about these issues the manager replied that he could not do anything about it since we booked through a third party. We definitely will not be staying here ever again and would recommend to anyone else to bypass the enticement of the Doubletree cookies and look for a hotel with more than 3 stars in the area.

Excellent stay with a great restaurant downstairs. The Steak salad was very good and the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Note: the executive lounge is a room that is converted to a very small lounge and is closed Saturday and Sunday nights. No reason to go for that upgrade.

I called to make a reservation and the individual I spoke with showed an extreme lack of interest in her job. Over the 5 minute conversation I had to correct her on my trip details at least 10 times before she said they were booked for those dates, when the dates of stay was the first thing we went over. Very frustrating experience.

We left our IPAD on a recent stay and we received it the next day! Thanks so much for assisting us with this. Hotel is very clean and nice.

The hotel may be nice but I would not know because the charged me for room when they were cancelled. When I called to tell them about what they have done they said the computer show that the room were not cancelled. I have to wait the whole weekend before I can talk to someone that can help solve my problem. That is a real mess up thing to do, but I will never stay at a doubletree and would not encourage anyone to stay there either.
