Great hotel to stay at. Large rooms and awesome staff. They are extremely nice and informant on the local tourist destinations.

Be aware. Reservations don't matter here unless you don't arrive! Even though I guaranteed with credit card was told no rooms were left when I arrived at 9:30 because they could disregard my reservation since I didn't arrive by 6PM. So, if you don't show up you have to pay for the room anyway, and if you aren't there by 6 they don't have to honor your reservation! Unbelievable.

Roaches in kitchen and bathroom. Floors greasy causing falls. Carpet so sorry feet stuck to it. Two emails to management after asking for room to be cleaned, no response from anyone. Don't stay here.

The staff here exceeds all expectations and countinues to go above and beyond. This is my new HOME. The property is well maintained, staff is caring, and because of this you feel like part of the extended family. I’m sorry to only be able to give a 5 star rating rating… it deserves 100 stars!

The place is older. No coffee machine in room. However if you want a safe place to stay the night this is decent place to do so. The Wi-Fi however is not good so don't expect to watch and video, even YouTube without a lot of buffering.

The room was clean and it was a nice size. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although the breakfast that was offered could use more variety and options.

Nice clean rooms, helpful staff. They will do whatever they can to accommodate you. Leah at the front desk is extremely helpful and will go above and beyond what the parameters of her job require her to do to help out a customer.

CON: Driveway to the hotel is difficult to see at night, no overhead or weather protection for offloading, no breakfast offered except 'granola' bars and coffee, (even though parking is limited management allowed some jackass to use up 5 parking spaces for a trailer). PRO: check in was quick and courteous, room is nice clean but a luggage stand would be nice, fairly easy drive off the highway, lots of fast food close by, working elevator.

Leah and Sarah are the best. This place is a little hard to find but I really enjoy staying here. The staff is quick to fix any issues. It is located close to almost everything. Really nice place.

Great management… nice clean rooms… inexpensive! We stayed here 3 days while we waited to move into a new place. It had a kitchen with full size appliances. The staff were extremely pleasant!

Love it! I came to this Extended Stay from Chicago in November. Diana made this place feel like home for me and my family. I was very sad when she left, but I must say she placed us in good hands. The new General Manager Keisha is fun, nice understanding, and a very hard working woman. The staff under her is also a delight. (Tammy) is my favorite I must admit. She never lost her patience with me, and lord knows I can be quite needy. Clita (housekeeping) loves to help me, even though I’m not on her list of rooms. I can go on, and on… You have to visit to meet all the friendly faces l, dedicated and hard working team I know. Patrick is the BOMB! Sarah is Awesome! Leah is Amazing! Sherri is creative! Omg, and Mrs. Rose is the hardest worker of them all.

If you are temporarily transplanted to the Memphis area for work like many people, the Extended Stay America-Memphis-Cordova Hotel is the extended stay hotel for you, While I have many family members who live in and near Memphis, I temporarily needed a place near work to call my own. However, I did not want to incur the expenses associated with a short-term rental which would include the purchase of furniture which would be less expensive to give away than to pay for the subsequent moving expenses. A colleague who lives in Cordova, TN recommended the area and the Extended Stay America-Memphis-Cordova Hotel as it is near where she lives. The Extended Stay America-Memphis-Cordova Hotel meets all of my residential needs, and it is in a very safe area. The hotel is within walking distance or a very short drive to major grocery stores, retail stores, restaurants, entertainment, churches, gas stations, fitness centers, major highways, thoroughfares, etc. However, where the hotel is situated, it is very quiet. A grab and go breakfast awaits me each morning that consists of muffins, granola bars, oatmeal, and grits. The delicious, piping hot coffee is always a winner with me. Tea is also readily available. It is obvious from the moment you enter the lobby with its inviting décor that the hotel was recently renovated. The Studios and Deluxe Studios are spacious with comfortable queen beds and bedding, clock radio, and two nightstands.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Walked in the room, back to the front desk, requested a refund, and went somewhere else. If there is no picture of roaches in my review its because the hotel had them removed (happened initially. Anyone who says this place is decent is lying or has severely low standards.

For the prices charged one would expect a cleaner exterior hallways and stairwells and a business oriented clientele. Alas, it is not kept clean as it could be and it seems to be a holding zone for people waiting on section 8 housing? Not sure. Staff is friendly And helpful. Security is OK. All in all not a bad place, but could easily be so much more.

Our house flooded due to some plumbing issues. We had to evacuate and we're being rehoused. When I tell you this place was our home away from home, I'm NOT exaggerating one bit! Diane and her staff are some of the most caring people in the world! The housekeepers and maintenance staff are the most attentive, detailed, courteous and helpful professionals I've ever witnessed. We stayed there for a while until our insurance and realtors tied all the loose ends. It was a distressful struggle but we pulled through with the help of the Extended Stay Family including the district manager and you don't see that very often. I rated this hotel for their excellent services and cleanliness. I can't complain about one thing but I encourage you to give them a try. Big ups to Extended Stay hotel for a job well done!

Remodeled. Nice, clean, close to lots of shopping and interstate. High recommended. Lots of amenities (free Wi-Fi, free parking, refrigerator, stove, microwave etc). Ideal for anyone looking for extended or overnight stay while in Memphis. Safe location also.

I stayed here in October for my father's funeral. There were roaches crawling everywhere, so we left at 11 pm to go stay at a different hotel. They refused to refund me saying there would be a credit for a free stay in the mail. Not like I'd stay at this one again, but that never arrived either. I had stayed there once before and it was fine, so it might be a difference in floor levels or rooms.

Typical small Rooms with Kitchen. We can get extra vessels from the Staffs If needed. Friendly staffs and front desk peoples. We can get Morning complementary Breakfast as Muffins, Cookies and Tea or Coffee. Kroger and other Grocery stores are nearby. Reasonable price for that Area.

When my family and I walked through the door of our room, we thought, this is a really nice room. Upon Inspecting the room, I noticed things were not right. First, the sofa bed did not have any sheets. I went to the front desk and asked for sheets, and the receptionist gave me sheets that were in disarray. She stated, "I think these are clean"… wth! I just washed them myself. I didnt want my children to sleep on sheets that may or may not be clean. Second, my husband saw what he believed was blood on his pillow and there was also a blood looking spot on the sofa bed mattress. The bathtub was dirty, there was mold on the shower curtain and we continued to hear relentless ponding and stomping sounds from the room above us! Needless to say, I felt very crummy here. Never again.

Not what was expected… kitchenette needs to be updated with the rest of the room and they have no respect for travelers. Weed smoking at night, yard work at 8 and housekeeping at 9 beating on the door like the police. Oh and lets not talk about the pool in the back or the lack of… looks like a cesspool.

My mom's room was clean, neat and didn't smell like 'people. ' The service desk lady was also pretty cool. They did charge a pet fee when my mom was a hurricane Irma evacuee on her way back home, though. I thought that was supposed to be waived.

Its a nice respectful place to stay. The hotel staff is wonderful. You will be treated like one of the familym.

The room was tidy and looks like it was recently painted. The whole building felt humid as if the ventilation system wasn't working. The lower hallway smelled strongly of patchouli and something else. They really need a better ventilation system.

Well I was kinda disappointed, I was told I could get into my room earlier than usual, arrive not so, I was tired from my drive, and just wanted to sleep. The room was nice, you must request the dishes and things if not you won't get them… the towels aren't always available if you need more, dryer issues and washer issues. However the staff was friendly. And yes I would stay again.

The staff is rude. They saud there wasn't linen for the let-out sofa! Definitely not worth the price!

I booked a guaranteed two bed room using Priceline's express deal which was a HUGE mistake. After driving 15 hours and arriving at the Extended Stay, we immediately could not find anywhere to park because of all the drunk people and bums partying and sleeping in the parking lot. After locating the office, I had to wait 20 minutes for the clerk to show up at the front desk, she immediately asked for a $100 deposit although I had already paid in full using Priceline. I asked to see the room before paying the deposit and she showed me a small room with a pull out couch. I immediately said this was unacceptable since I clearly paid for a two bed room, the clerk refused to refund me and I had to call price line and wait for 30 minutes to speak with a rep before getting refunded. Overall if you are travelling and tired afterwards, you definitely don't want to run into this experience with this hotel, not only are they shady when it comes to honoring hotel reservations but there is also a huge vagrant/criminal element that surrounds this establishment. We drove an extra few miles to stay at a Red Roof which was GREAT! Avoid Extended Stay and Priceline!

It was an awful experience. The management that day was very unprofessional. The place was overbooked and management told us reservations and confirmation number, which we had, did not matter. We even called the corporate number to speak to upper management while there and they were not concerned about accommodating us at all. They hung up on us. I would not ever stay there again. The room felt dirty and smelly. The continental breakfast was a joke. Terrible experience!

The staff is very friendly, polite, and helpful. The rooms are very neat and tidy when you check in and when house keeping comes around. All around wonderful place to stay for a few days, a week, or more. A➕⬅

The staff is awful. They keep keep our money for 2 nights on a early leave. I am 4 months pregnant and my husband and I work hard for our money. The so called manager got in my face a said what am I gonna do about it! The general manger is a sweetheart though and the motel itsself is nice. They really need different people though, unless this chain is just in the practice of taking peoples money.

We found some VERY disgusting things in our room! Kids running around all night. Pee in the hallway. Stay away from this place! It is not for you.

I recently stayed one night at this hotel with my husband and two very small kids. This place was awful. We did not have sheets on the let out bed. The front desk clerk brought us some balled up in his hands. In the middle of the night, there was a domestic dispute directly across from our room. When the front desk was called, nothing happened. She did absolutely nothing to resolve the situation. We did not get any rest as result. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Couch-bed was awful, and staff unfriendly. Breakfast starts at 9:30am.

I like the friendly staff. The room was not all the way clean and the TV was too small and some of the channels did not work. I was okay staying here.

I an currently visiting from Myrtle Beach, SC. From the moment I walked in the lobby I experience nothing but excellent customer service. I was check in very fast by Bree (i think that was her name) she made sure that I had everything that I needed. The rooms were clean. The only thing that I didn't like was the pots. They were clean but I just didn't like them. The price was affordable and not to mention there is a Corkys BBQ nearby…

This place is disgusting. First day there I find 2 cock roaches. Few days later I notice ant. Not only where they in my cats food but cabinets. There is a constant smell of pot that didnt bother me though the constant in and out of rooms and door slamming. The person upstairs I swear there a buffalo. And im almost 99.9% sure theres prostitution going on.

Decent place and an excellent value for the money.

Staff is not friendly. Very disrespectful. Hotel guests are very loud. All you hear is doors slamming 24/7. horrible.

This is the worst hotel on Earth. I was itching the whole time. Was only able to stand it for 4 hours. I didn't even get under the covers. The pull out bed had no sheets. The room and place is pure filth. It's like staying in ash tray.

I obviously cannot speak to the recent experience of others listed, but I have stayed in this Hotel 3 times now since April 1st on business while in Memphis/Cordova and have found the experience to be great every time. I will admit the facilities are in need of an update from ESA but they are clean and neat every time I stay. I am always met with a smile and I have been remembered by the staff every time I have been back. Greta is the hotel manager and she runs a great facility. If your in need of a great hotel for an inexpensive rate, look no further.

Worst hotel do not stay…. If you want to live….

Service and Security are absent and/or incompetent. One could not check-in as the desk agent was absent and the "security guard" fully ignored my presence while he was talking on his personal cell-phone. After waiting 45 minutes and not being allowed entry, I traveled a short distance up the parkway and checked in with a competitor. This "hotel" is inhospitable.

We ended up staying here for a week while in the process of moving to Tennessee from Florida and waiting to close on our house. The rooms were severely out dated; the carpets, cabinets, appliances, etc. All showing their age. Guest Services was nice, which is why I wouldn't give them one star.
