On Friday May 7 my sister, friend, and I arrived only to find our reservation was canceled (we weren’t notified nor was Booking. Com). When I attempted to show the employee how much I was supposed to be paying she charged me 125$ for 2 nights and refused to honor the original price. I have turned this issue into the BBB and now coming here to leave a review. We were visiting from Indiana and have never been treated with such disrespect before. The employee said she would talk to the GM and I have yet to hear anything back. My next move is to file a complaint with my charge card if I do not hear anything from Country Inn and Suites.

My stay at this location was horrible! It began with the check in process I wanted to use a different card than what I used to reserve the room and was charged a higher rate! The customer service rep was rude and slow! But the thing that made the stay horrible was the fact there were guests probably 10-20 on Saturday nite May 8 partying in the parking lot drinking smoking using profanity it was so bad I called the police. I needed a good nights rest to awake on May 9 check out and drive 8 hours home to Illinois of course as you can see I got no rest this went on from about 11 pm unti 3 am. On Monday May 10 I called back to the hotel to speak with the owner Sonica she was rude inconsiderate of my situation never even apologized! The owner Sonics tells me guests were in the parking lot enjoying themselves! So let me get this straight as an owner of a Radisson brand hotel you’re ok with guests partying in the parking lot using profanity allowing other paying guests not to be able to relax and enjoy their stay? She told me she was not refunding my stay didn’t apologize offer a courtesy stay nothing! But what Sonica didn’t know I was with my fiancé who was with me we were coming back from Grambling where we are looking to build a Radisson hotel! Yes this complaint is going up the chain! My complaint was not even acknowledged sad!

Horrible experience. We arrived at the hotel to find our room (with two queens) was unavailable after booking seven days ago and my credit card already charged. I was traveling with my two sons and they down sized us to a room with one queen and a pull out sofa. I am very upset and mad that I paid for a room that was given away! How can they give away a room that is already paid for!? The substitute room was small, dirty, the window did not have a full curtain, the bathroom door did not stay closed, the water went all over the floor from tubless shower, and no telling else what was wrong with the room! The hallway to our room smelled, the door to the side of the hotel was broken. Definitely will never stay at a Country Inn & Suites again. Huge mistake.

Over-charge for pets. Ramada in bowling green was much better! 20.00 per day per pet?. Well house broken dogs. Changing jobs. Truck drivers. Had to bring them with us. And the hotel isn't all that great either. $ 40.00 a day for pets? we can get a room for that!

Treated poorly when checking in by employee. Lady taking care of breakfast was super courteous and polite… just overall awesome. She made our stay nice. So very thankful for her.

Not a bad stay by no means, but certainly not my favorite. My first reservation that I booked online didn't confirm and it took me an additional 20 minutes to rebook on the phone. I had requested a crib for my daughter. Luckily, I called to double check and they told me that they didn't do that. Upon arrival, our room was very hot and we didn't have a kitchenette that was advertised. The pool was also down from it being Labor Day weekend or so the attendant told us. My boys were bummed out about that. It would have been nice to know this in advance. The room wasn't bad other than the bath tub being dirty and it being super dim. Breakfast was decent, although the majority of the tables were designed for couples so it wasn't super ideal for our family that we had to sit apart from each other. The high chair straps were broken, so it was nearly pointless. I also noticed that a plastic piece of the dispenser had fallen off into my cereal. I am glad it had landed in my bowl and not a child's. I then watched it get wiped off (from being in my cereal) and put right back on the dispenser. Yikes.

Nice comfortable rooms. Breakfast was great which is expected for the country inn. Staff was very nice and engaging.

The staff was friendly but for the 3 nights that we were there, housekeeping never once came to our room to clean or even give us new towels or even make the beds.

My mother-in-law is staying at this hotel and it is top notch. Plus it's centrally located. The staff have been so friendly and helpful my only negative is that the walls in the hallway appear to be damaged at the same level all the way across the hallway. But literally every other part of her experience has been amazing.

Our room was very nasty. We spoke to someone about it being nasty and she said she was going to put it in the books and get it taken care of. I'm not going to say she didn't put it in the books. Well, we left and came back the room was still filthy. We had to clean it ourselves! We will never stay there again. Upon returning the key back the next day I said something to a manager and she said it wasn't put in the books. Said she was going to look into it and if it's an adjustment she will give us a call. Very nasty and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone! We stayed there one night, thank God it was only one night!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! The hotel is clean and in a nice safe location, however the housekeepers (at least one of them) are THIEVES! We were in town for the Beale Street Music Festival, so we had a considerable amount of cash with us. It's Memphis so you don't really want to leave anything valuable in your car and we were having to park downtown so we chose to leave some of the cash in the room. I figured this would be a safer option than the car. The room had no safe so I put my wallet with the cash in a drawer under some clothes. That was Saturday morning. Never touched it again until we leave Sunday morning. We get 20 miles down the road I look in my wallet and the cash is missing. I call the hotel because I know it had to be someone there that took it because it was in the room all weekend. They tell me to call back Monday when the manager is there. Well I call and she says they are "investigating" she will call me back. I have to call her because she never called back and she can't come to the phone. She called back while I was working and left a voicemail saying there was no way someone there took my money. So apparently my money sprouted wings and flew out of my wallet, out of the dresser, and out of the room. Crazy I know, but apparently this is what they think! I have tried to get in touch with her several times and I keep getting the "she isn't in her office" line. I will try again today. If you value your belongings DO NOT STAY HERE THEY STEAL!

Great location! Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were very clean and bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was great! Wonderful place to stay while visiting Memphis!

No indoor pool, outdoor pool isn't in service, no downstairs lobby to gather, no place to congregate outside either. It's like your just trapped in your room. If you're just wanting to sleep, then fine. But if you're traveling with people, stay somewhere else.

Stayed there end of first week in march. Hubby and I were ill and accidentally left blackberry phone charger in room. It was found and brought to front desk. It was labelled with my name and address and ready to be sent home. However — — they wanted US to send them a sticker for $4 from post office to send it home. In the middle of back and forth conversations over three weeks with a truly rude manager named Bridget — — it is now LOST — — after being quite visible and ready for mailing. They NEVER sent it to us. I cannot believe a huge hotel chain is hard up for a small postage fee, and is so incompetent that the irreplaceable charger is now lost in their own office. And sadly, the ONLY person who has any competence in that hotel — — a desk clerk — — offered to go to the phone store and buy me another one out of his own money! you cannot get blackberry chargers any more. But he was so sweet, and of course we told him thank you, but no.

I got this place on Groupon and the deal was fantastic. The staff was very nice and the room was great. The hotel location is VERY convenient. The Wolfe Chase Galleria is down the road, there are plenty of places to eat near the hotel (some within walking distance). There is also a shopping center across the street.

The staff was courteous and professional. The Hispanic lady who assisted with breakfast was new, but fabulous! Attentive and gracious. The breakfast bar was the best amenity.

The bed is good, the rooms are ok. Mine smelt like a litter box. The breakfast was 1 step above NOT EATABLE! For the money I will not stay here again. If it only cost 70 a night then I might, but for not over a 100.00. I've already paid for the next 2 nights what a mistake, but you live and learn. I stayed here once before for 2 nights and was just ok thought it was just bad timing, 1st night I was laying in bed and my door opened, they "accidentally" rented my room to someone else while being rented to me. I thru a fit. Wasn't even offered a bottle of water for the hassle. So if you choose to stay here I wish you good luck.

Excellent front desk and housekeeping staffs. Good breakfast though they need to keep up with refilling silverware and coffee. Coffee was hot only 1 day of the 2 we stayed. Found 2 dirty plates and knives but otherwise ok. Bathrooms could use some sprucing but clean and fuctional. The area had all kinds of shopping, including Ikea. Good restaurants too.

Adequate lodging! Honestly my husband thought he was booking at another hotel down the street and accidentally booked this place. We decided to just go with it instead of rebook. It was a reasonable rate; the room/bathroom could have been cleaner. For those interested, there is only an outside pool. Breakfast was not great, but did have waffles.

Service was terrible! Waited all night and never received linens for the pull out couch despite the attendant (Male with accent) being at the desk talking to what appeared to be a friend. As I was checking out, the guest in front of me was resolving an issue of blood on his bed linens when he checked in. I will never stay here Again. Located by mall and numerous food places. Breakfast was good and check in clerk (female) was nice.

Country Inn and Suites continues to impress with their amenities and service. They are much better than Days Inn, Comfort Inn and Suites and other similar hotels. I would have given it 5 stars but off late, they seem to have increased their tariffs. If you find a room in Country Inn and Suites at a good price, just take it, you won't go wrong.

Disappointed in this hotel. The most unfriendly hotel we have stayed in. There was no reason for the staff to be rude just because I'm white. It was apparent. Every person in this world is important, no matter their job or skin Color. Blood on the pillow, not very clean. Only gave $20 off bill. And it was the most expensive CI&S we have been in. We used to love this chain… but the last 4 in totally different states have been dirty. So disappointed in the company standards.

Great room for the price. Spacious and clean. Breakfast was good; hot and cold options daily and it was pretty tasty. Check in and out was easy and the staff was very pleasant and helpful.

I wouldn't stay there again because there were just too many issues which is unfortunate because the actual room was clean and it had all the amenities that I prefer (microwave, fridge, coffee pot, cable) although the television was pretty small which I found annoying. The other thing that I didn't like about the room was that it had an open shower and by "open" I mean it's basically a shower head with a curtain, and drain in the floor, not the traditional tub/shower combo. I think for $85 a night I ought to be able to take a bath should I desire to do so. Also there was only hot water the first night we were there so we couldn't shower anyway. The biggest problem was that they cleaned our room out while we were gone and when we asked why and where our things were they said we only rented the room for one night. So, they gave us our stuff back and we paid for a 2nd night. However, after insisting that we only rented the room for one night they actually charged us for 2 the first time around and we ended up paying for 3 nights total. We are in the process of getting a refund for the extra night they billed us and I will update this review according to how well that goes.

Fine stay for a mid-level hotel. Room was large, breakfast ample. Easy on and off I-40. Make sure to visit the pizza place across the parking lot. Awesome.

The beds were very comfortable people were friendly … breakfast was good… all was great… however, I booked on line and used my debit card because they said in booking the room online that the card WOUKD NOT be charged and the form of payment would be determined at check in! I was traveling with my 83 year old mother who wanted to pay for the room with her credit card… at check in I gave them her credit card and they processed it at that time… then my bank notified me that my debit card had also been charged (which caused my account to become overdrawn) it was a mess and took 2 weeks to get my money back from this hotel! Their explanation for it was that they had to see if the funds were available before arrival… but they didn't give me my money back right away… which caused my account to be charged NSF FEES! Deon smith the general manager made that rule up and it's stupid. Even the check in hosts said that rule had created a lot of problems for them … maybe they need a new GM?!

It was cool I want Callie excellent I guess because of the hotels and comparing it to but it for the price it was excellent and the service was awesome all the employees were helpful and nice and sweet.

STAY AWAY! I wish I can do zero stars. I stayed at this hotel for my family's reunion. The rooms had a musty smell and a water marks on the ceiling in the room and the bathroom which I decided to overlook. Also the bathroom door wouldn't close and I decided to overlook this as well. But one thing I could not overlook was a bed bug I discovered in the bed with my 2 yr old while she was sleep. I came from my sister's room just in time to spot it. After informing the host at the front desk she moved my me and my family in the middle of the night to the 3rd floor. And for my inconvenience they took $25 off my stay. REALLY? I talked with the manager and she told me they did a full investigation and pull everything out of the room and they didn't find any bed bugs. They put the same furniture back in the room. I asked did you open the mattress and checked and she told me there are other ways to find out if there are bed bugs. Then she came back and said they would take half off of my stay for the inconvenience, but they only took half off of 1 night. I was asked to hold my review until it was all sorted out. As you can see this is how they sorted. And they insulted me by saying this wasn't a bed bug. You tell me, is this a bed bug? Second picture is of a comparison bed bug from online. I can't say this enough… STAY AWAY!

Absolutely love this hotel. We stayed here during a "girls weekend" in Memphis. The location is great. Lots to do. Plenty of shopping and restaurants close by. The outdoor pool was nice and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was wonderful. I wish we could have stayed longer!

The room was pleasant although the location of the hotel is subpar. The fire alarm in my room was missing which was. Alarming. The continental breakfast wasn't exceptional, mostly the inedible eggs that bothered me. This all sounds so critical but it's all true. I didn't get a chance to check out the pool and gym but the both looked nice and well maintained! Lastly the staff was very nice and accommodating.

Loved it… They was all fun to be around. Maintenance chief there was a awsome dude… Helping the elder with everything… Couldn't beat this place great great food… The staff was just awesome…

When making reservations this hotel looked okay. Booked two rooms for us and daughters family. The young lady at the front desk was very nice, but that is the only good thing I can say about the hotel. Got to the first room and it was filthy. Pillowcases were stained and the sheets stained. The headboard was greasy and dirty and the room smelled horrible. Everything about the room was nasty. Looked out the window and observed several men in the parking lot openly smoking marijuana. We had traveled all day and the kids were hungry, so we went next door to the Subway. While there we observed the dope smokers come to the opposite side of the hotel where we had parked our car and trailer which was hauling my motorcycle. The men made several phone calls while walking around the trailer. I had just been discharged from hospital due to a motorcycle accident, but this hotel was so filthy and more than likely our vehicles would not be there the next morning, we gladly drove another sixty-miles to get out of Memphis.

Listen all I can say good about this place was the man at the desk on nights was nice… now let me talk about the rest. I came here with my wife and kids. I also booked a second room for the in laws. Our room was only semi bad, but to keep this short I'm only going to talk about my in laws room. Never in 10 years of traveling for work have I seen something like this. The couch was stained and no one could figure out what it was. The bed was dirty with the dirty linens and pillows just tossed around the room. They didn't even have clean blankets when we asked so that just goes to show what everyone's sleeping in at this place. There was dirty silverware on a dirty desk. Head and hand prints where all over the headboard. In the bathroom there was a box of Kleenex… however; it was just filled with used Kleenex pushed back into the box. All the towels and rags where dirty and covered in dirt. We where only offered to switch rooms. The lighting in the parking lot sucks and it's not in a great area. No one was helpful at all and we should've known this all was gonna be like this when we asked for luggage carts when we asked about them and no one assisted in getting them. Not one luggage cart ever showed up so be prepared to carry your stuff to your dirty room.

Great stay. Good Staff. My key card wouldn't work to get in the side entrance, near where I parked. So besides having to walk around to the front each time. And my room blinds not having the ability to close. My stay was a good experience.

Horrible. After traveling all day with small kids the last thing you want is to get to your room and it not be acceptable. We got this room for $97 so I wasn't expecting it to be great but it should still be clean and decent enough to get a good sleep. We got to our room and the beds weren't made, the lights were on, the bathroom lights and fan was on, the shower had used soap and shampoo in it, there was a small bug on the wall above the window (not a bedbug), the room was uncomfortably damp, and there was no toilet seat. Oh, the keycard reader for the back hallway door (which they told us to park there) didn't work. Fantastic all around. Other issues included the laundry was out of order and the hallway floors are oddly squishy and lumpy. I called the front desk and they got us a different room. This new room was better but still had small stains on the sheets, unknown dripping stains on the headboards, and was again, uncomfortably damp. Oh yeah, they didn't have a crib available either. Literally the worst hotel stay I've experienced.

I was fired as a housekeeper because I didn't want to clean a bedbug room! Instead of taking care of it they sweet talked and me into staying the rest of the shift and said they would take care of it the next day I get a call saying don't come back! I worked my butt of while I was employed there and have dealt with Alot and let it go because I needed the job for my bills. I didn't deserved to be let go like that after I have worked full 8 hour shift with no lunch break, and work in a bug infested work place and they want to let me go because I spoke on the well being of my health and the guests! They actually REFUSE TO PUT A ROOM OUT OF ORDER and still allowed it to be rented out! I have pics, and witnesses to all this, so there is No Way they can talk their way out like they All ways do! I am speaking out to guests and future employees! BEWARE! I wonder how and what they are going to say or do to cover this up! I won't recommend this hotel to no one! I have stayed in cheaper hotels that were better than this one! If I could give it zero stars I would!

Horrible! You will be tempted to stay here because of the price, but take my word: DON'T. This place was just not up to par. We checked in and then checked right back out 1.5 hours later. Where to begin? The rooms were damp and musty. The carpet/floors are so lumpy that you lose your balance walking down the hall. Bed linens, chairs and curtains were visibly stained. And A LOT! Carpets filthy. Dead bug on the floor. GROSS! Do not stay here! SERIOUSLY! Lady at front was very sweet, though.

Within an hour of arriving our toilet was not working. 3 people in a room it's important that something like that is working. We went to the front desk and asked if we could swap rooms because we also noticed the door was very very hard to close and we found some mystery stains on the headboard. The lady at the front desk was very very rude about the situation and said we couldn't switch rooms and she'd see if someone could come fix the toilet. Someone came up and tried to fix the toilet but didn't. House keepers came by around 9:30 and we politely said no since we weren't all awake yet. Minutes later someone is opening our door! I was baffled we had asked them not to come in and they did any way! We are so so upset with this becaus we are here for 3 days. I would recommend taking your business somewhere else. Staff is very rude and doesn't seem to care about their guests. I'm highly disappointed. They switched us rooms after all and when arriving to the second room I noticed the keypad on the safe had been completely torn off! We had zero access to the safe, none of the night stands were wiped off and it was very dusty. Our bathroom mirror and shower were not cleaned at all.

Friendly staff, room clean and quiet of course I was on 3rd floor. The hotel staff and members very accommodating. Breakfast was great! My stay was very comfortable.

Nice hotel but I saw a couple ants on the table next to the bed but other than that it was a great getaway. Breakfast was good. Close by everything.

Hotel is a nice place to stay when in Memphis/Cordova … Hotel is clean and neat. Breakfast is good and better than most hotel breakfasts. Staff is friendly and is willing to make accommodations work well with your needs. Is close to eating establishments. Would recommend this hotel for your next stay.

A little messed up in places but a good night's sleep and a friendly helpful staff.

Great place. Room waa clean, bed was super comfortable, enough room for my yoga mat too. The free breakfast was really good too (eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, etc) free Wi-Fi too. Can't go wrong!

Friends and family stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. They said that it was clean and comfortable and a bargain when price was considered. The staff was very accommodating to such a large party.

Clean but old room that needed maintenance. Towels were old and looked dirty. Had to slam door to close. Breakfast was bad. Eggs were not edible and like another post I read they are STILL out of sugar for coffee. Ended up going to McDonald's. Stay somewhere else if you can.

Overall the rooms were nice and the front desk people were nice.

Was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We didn't really eat breakfast there so not much to say about that.

We have had some horrid hotel experiences recently and this was quite a change. The room had been cleaned thoroughly upon arrival and each day we stayed there. The staff was willing to go the extra mile. (On the first day I missed breakfast and they let me eat anyway; also one day they were out of syrup and this was promptly fixed; when we checked in it was very early a. M. And we were given exactly what we had requested i. E. Not "the closet" room. ) Mainly though — the room was clean to standard, and then was cleaned thoroughly every day. It changed the entire trip to Memphis for me. I was quizzed upon check-in about having a pet traveling with us. We did not but I very much appreciated this and think it might be a pet-free hotel. I am not sure, though.

We changed rooms due to a busted shower curtain, and I meant BUSTED. The entire rod was crooked, the curtain was ripped, and water leaked all over the floor when I showered. Fortunately, the staff was very accommodating (the staff being the ONLY good thing about this hotel). And changed our room at 3 AM. In the new room, however: the toilet ran constantly and would not flush. The shower here was clearly very old, and its position (Hot/Cold) was completely opposite to what it said, and went around the entire 360 degrees without stopping! The floors were filthy, there were no washrags in the room, and there was only one bedside stand in a king-bed room. I can understand one room being in disrepair, but two in a row? Furthermore: the side door key entry did not work! There was ZERO parking in the "safe, " well-lit areas — and in fact, hardly any decent parking at all. By the time we returned to our hotel around 9:00, there was nowhere to park aside from the dark, creepy spot by a vacant lot! One of my absolute worst hotel experiences ever. Do not choose this hotel.

The was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. We were there for my step sons baseball tournament. First, the fitness equipment was outdated and rusted. Second, the whirl pool didn't even exsist. That room was used for storage. Third, the bathroom door knob came off in my hand. Forth, we called the front desk to ask for more towels. The housekeeper and some guy came up with no towels asking to see our bathroom because the housekeeper said she put towels in our room. Obviously, if we are calling we don't have any. She had put 3 towels, 1 face towel and no hand towels in a room with 2 adults and 2 children. Save your $90 a night and go to a motel 6. You would get better service and accommodations there.

Woman at desk was ok. Vending and ice on our floor were not working. Whirlpool was not working, they ran our of sugar for the coffee with breakfast how do you do that.
