Requested close to elevator and high floor, got farthest from elevator and 2nd floor people stomping above constantly, did I mention the constantly yapping dog across the hall. When I booked was 9am if there was issues I could've/should've been contacted before arriving at 3:30pm. No housekeeping or hot breakfast but still charged full price. ONLY saving grace is the wonderful water pressure and comfortable bed. Never again. Im a titanium elite member thats used to Marriotts better accommodations.

Its very nice I love the fact the room has a small kitchen.

Bedbugs. And they didn’t believe me.
They wouldn’t let me go back and show them the bugs in the room without a District Manager present.

The staff here are so amazing, very friendly, professional, and helpful. I highly recommend anyone to stay here. Excellent location, convenient to Hamilton Place Mall and restaurants, it has a fabulous fire pit which I loved and enjoyed, clean rooms, washer and dryers, everything you need is here and pet friendly.

It's pet friendly, has a kitchenette with a full fridge, very clean, has queen beds in double rooms and the bathroom is spacious.

Very nice room was what site said it would be and staff was nice at checking in.

This hotel is very clean and friendly people. From the time we checked in and till we checked out. Really would recommended.

Better than anticipated for the price. Not bad for a short stay, but would want a nicer place for a longer stay.

Nice decor. Competitive rates. Opportunities with Housekeeping Dept. Evening staff smoke/hang out on entrance patio with what appears to be non-guests… 3 or 4 people seated… strange.

My husband and I just had the most pleasant and helpful check-in experience ever at TownePlace Marriott! The rooms are spacious and clean with a charming kitchenette. We are looking forward to our stay here!

I absolutely love this place. The beds & pillows are so comfortable it makes falling a sleep a joy. We’ve stayed here a few times and were looking forward to returning.

On a last minute whim, we decided to break up our long trip back to Florida from Lexington, Kentucky and stay at this hotel. We only stayed one night, so there's a lot I can't comment on due to such a short stay. But this hotel was a pleasure to stay at. The front desk clerk (I did NOT get her name and I wish I would have), was absolutely a pleasure! Anything we needed, she supplied us with. We were dropped off at the hotel by family and we did not have transportation until my husband arrived later. The Clerk gave us info on local delivery options for a meal and offered tons of suggestions. The room was super clean and we had everything we needed. As a Silver Elite member, we are thankful that Marriott continues to impress us with each new stay! Thanks TPS of Chattanooga! It was TRULY a pleasure staying with you!

Pros: Suites are large, pool is nice, big fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave in queen double suite. Unfortunately those are the only positive things I can say about our stay here. Cons: We didn't get the room we were supposed to have, which is crucial to fitting 5 people (2 adults and 3 older children). They eventually remedied it, after initially telling me my only option was to PAY for an additional room, no thanks. Anyways, doors got stuck and jammed, a lot. TV remote didn't work in one of our rooms. The breakfast hot food was terrible. They were out of cereal. No spoons to eat it if you wanted to. The housekeeping staff we ran into in the elevators were using foul language and very vocal about not liking their jobs. I really wanted to leave a positive review after coming to a resolution for the first issue, even though the staff I encountered was not the friendliest. However, everything else considered, I would have rathered spend $20 more dollars and stayed somewhere else.

Nice, fully stocked studio for the price of a Motel 6 in California. Staff is awesome! Friendly, responsive, helpful, and seemed to be having the time of their lives! Outdoor firepit was a true gathering place for guests.

Great newer location that was clean and well put together. Pillows were perfect! Mattress on king bed firm and not compressed. The mattress on the couch bed however needs to be replaced. It was way too thin & zero comfort. Breakfast was a nice small variety of American favorites. And they had chocolate milk. Employees were kind & helpful.

Everyone here was fantastic, from the front desk to the breakfast ladies and the cleaning staff. The room was clean. Breakfast was good. Our kids had a great time at the pool. We were just a short ride from downtown. Great stay.

Came here February 2018 the week of my Nephew death and this place was so much better than before. Very quiet at night. The refrigerator made No nosie this time. The TV was free of interruptions. The staff was very nice and professional as usual. The food could change up a little but overall it satified me til Lunch… My stay was peaceful… Thanks.

This place was awesome! The suite we were in had a microwave, stove top, big fridge and a dishwasher. It was okay breakfast could of been better. Unfortunately the pool was closed during the time of my stay. Overall great hotel for 1 night or even longer!

Marriott always has great experiences and this was another one. Pretty good location in the hotel is very well kept up. The service was outstanding anytime I interacted with them. My room was very very good. The only downfall was I couldn't get the room as cold as I wanted it but that's not their fault.

Very nice category 4 hotel with everything you need at a bargain price. Clean. Lots of storage if you are staying awhile. Convenient to Hamilton place mall, lots of restaurants. As usual with the Marriott brand the staff is always kind, helpful.

Staff was excellent. Room was clean and well stocked. Bed was comfortable. It was nice that free beverages were offered 24hrs in the lobby. The downside was that the walls were thin. We could hear every move the person above us made. I would stay again, but on the top floor.

Very good place to stay in Chattanooga. They put everything in suits. Dishes, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, etc. Very clean. Nice staff. Good breakfast.

The room was really nice. It was clean and fresh. I'm not a fan of their parking lot otherwise everything was perfect.

Clean rooms. Fast internet. Smart TV is a plus and the shower gets hot unlike other hotels I've dealt with. Full kitchen which is also a necessity. Walls seem thin, try to get on the top floor. Breakfast is below average.

Love this hotel! The staff was so friendly and helpful and the room was excellent. They took care of our pre arrival requests. We saved so much money on our trip by taking advantage of the little kitchenette in the room and cooking there instead of eating out the whole time. Everything was very clean! My husband and I both work at a marriott and we were both impressed. Loved that they had fresh coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby. The location was convenient right by the mall, movie theater, and little shops but far back enough that we were not right in the hustle and bustle. If I had any complaints it would be that the bed was a lot harder than I am used to and the Sundries store in the lobby was very expensive. We will definitely stay there again when we are in town!

Nice and inexpensive place to stay when seeing Rock City. The kitchen was perfect and efficient. Only thing I didn't like was that there were smokers the seemed to always be around the outside firepit so it couldn't be enjoyed by us non-smokers with allergies. Also had to walk through all that smoke to go through the front doors which wasn't very pleasant.

The lady who checked us in was super sweet. I really loved the rooms. Full fridge, dishwasher, stove top, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. The carpet seemed a little dated and the public breakfast area was a little small and I've been to hotels who offered more but it was still pleasent. I loved the outdoor fir pit. I would definitely stay again.

Suites have mini kitchen. Hotel near many restaurants. Complimentary breakfast. Nice fitness center and pool.

Small place but nice overall. Nothing bad but nothing wowed me here. Breakfast is small, just the basics but does the job. The hotel is pet-friendly. I did encounter and barking dog issues but I suppose they can happen.

Overall our stays was pretty good. Customer service was good. The free Continental Breakfast was good. The location was ok, but still close to the interstate so that was good. Overall cleanliness was satisfactory. We did though find a dirty wash cloth in our bathroom from the previous guest that got missed by house keeping. The walls are kind of thin. We could here the people next door, mostly the kids screeming. Overall it's not a bad place.

Newer place, so it's still in great shape. Rooms are comfortable with enough space. Staff is wonderful. Breakfast selection was adequate.

Made a little trip this weekend to go to the aquarium and rock city and really enjoyed our stay here. The employees were very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and cozy with all quality name brand toiletries. The breakfast was good with many options. I forgot my razor and they gave me one at the front desk. I would absolutely recommend this place! Also affordable for the quality stay!

Staff is great. The hotel is a little older and worn, but clean. The parking lot fills up quickly but they have extended parking at the Residence Inn next door. They have more coin washer and dryers than most other hotels (3 of each), but the dryer I used sounds like it is on its last leg. Not a bad hotel. The prices are pretty good for the area. The front entrance is right by the smoking area outside, which is usually quite full.

Everythings great just gym couldve been better.

Lower end of the Marriott chain so you get what you pay for. Rude staff. Room okay. Breakfast needs serious help. There are other Marriotts in the area that are better options.

This place was very nice and worth the price. The young woman at the desk named Jessica was very nice. also the housekeeping staff does an excellent job… no complaints.

Tremendous place to stay. Beautiful room with single king, medium fridge, dishwasher and stove. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was great with sausage, eggs, yogurt, cereal, milk, juices, fruit, cheese, English muffins and bagels. I hope to have a reason to come back. Loved it.

We had to initially change rooms due to a sink leak / mold issue, but the staff was very eager to help, kind, and took care if us right away. Our second room was pristine, clean, and perfect for a weekend getaway.

Clean rooms, 24 hour fitness, medium sized indoor pool, quick breakfasts (including waffles, but no other hot foods). Friendly service. Room had adequate kitchen accessories. The main down side was the lack of space on the rooms. If you fold out the couch into a bed, there is NO more floor space on the room.

There were a ton of kids there and dogs and yet it was such a quiet hotel. Great breakfast, great clean pool and super clean and nice room! The lady at the front desk was sooo nice and super sweet to our son! We highly recommend staying there if you are doing activities downtown. It is close to everything without spending downtown prices!

These guys represented the Marriott brand VERY well! I booked my family a stay here for a quick overnight stay, for my sons birthday. I traded a few emails with the manager before them arriving about having something in the room to surprise my son when they checked in. They were very understanding and picked up a cookie cake, balloon and card… and had it in the room waiting for them to arrive. He was very excited when he saw it. Thanks Marriott!

Loved this place. Very modern and great room suite. Kichenette was great. I will be staying here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was very clean, our room was large and accommodating. Loved the firepit out front. It was only rated 2 stars and I would say that was not even close. We stayed at a Hampton Inn the night before and it was no where near as nice as the TownePlace Suites. I would recommend. The pool was nice and clean and staff was friendly.
