Very nice staff. Helpful and friendly. There was a smell in the hallway on the first floor.

I booked a room in the spartanburg location for three nights for a baseball tournament my son is playing in and paid in full ahead of time. Last minute the tournament was changed to Memphis TN. I called choice hotels to see if they could transfer my reservation to a Memphis location and the manager Amita Jafani refused to transfer my reservation or refund my $337 because other the rate I had. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They screwed me out of my money and refuse to do anything about it.

4th time staying and was more than happy to finally come in from a long trip and not have to stare at some Adam's family looking baheameth of a woman with an annoying Northern accent arguing with me about My Money and forms I have to send back and forth so I can just go to sleep but I have no complaints but compliments to give. The staff was great, house keeping was on point, kept our towels and sheets fresh everytime we came in, front desk was very helpful and yeah it was just a great stay.

Wonderful place and the staff is super sweet. The kitchen attendant is so sweet and helpful. Very attentive with the people who stay with them.

Would give this a zero star rating if this was an option, do not waste your time. The owner is is terrible and will not rent to locals. Find another hotel.

The outside of the hotel is not any indication of the inside. Clean and somewhat modern rooms. Continental breakfast was offered as advertised also.

Room was clean, beds comfortable, unfortunately the TV did not work nor the ice machine on our floor. Breakfast was good. You have to live 50 miles away to get a room.

Place was put together with duct tape, far from quality! Way over priced. Maid's wouldn't clean toilet. The used gym weights half dug in the ground for landscaping edging is tacky for a — million dollar building. Nothing works the way it should. 1st Refrigerator didn't work, 2nd refrigerator door falls off. Curtains fell off and not fixed during 7 day stay! No way does owner care about guests or property. And t. V. Remote didn't work. Slum!

I wasn't able to stay at this hotel because once I booked it online, but when I arrived was told that they do not sell rooms to locals. I was coming in from a 12 hr drive and exhausted. My address is within a 50 mile radius, so I was told I couldn't book a room there. Ok I understand that was not clear when I booked it, but these greedy POS would not refund my money knowing that we did not stay at this hotel! This was great customer service on your end. Guess who will make sure to spread this mouth to mouth review about this hotel!

I only give this a 2 because the room was very nice as well as a comfortable bed. The very big downside to this is that after you check in, and without anything on there website that should have given you a heads-up, they hit you with a $160 deposit. Now I'm not cheap and so the $160 wasn't that big of a deal, but what was said to me next was, "if anything is damaged like stained sheet or towels, we will deduct it from the deposit. " If I'm paying to sleep comfortably, not worry about messing up a towel or a sheet that should be washed any time you use them. Just want people to know what they are agreeing to when they book this place. I travel and stay at a lot of hotel and I have to say this is my first incounter with this. I've had to pay deposits but I was made aware during booking. Hope this helps.

Clean place, friendly staff, adequate breakfast, reasonable rates for the area. I'd stay here again.

I am in the construction field and stay at the Quality Inns all over South Carolina, this is by far the cleanest safest and friendliest hotel that I've been in.

We got a room here to be close to Ground Zero. The hospitality of the front desk (Tara) was exceptional. She was very friendly and helpful… our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in town for a concert.

Overall the hotel was dirty and poorly maintained. The furniture was old and stained, there were hairs on the shower and on the bathroom floor, the in-room fridges didn't actually keep anything cold, and the floors in the common areas were dirty. For $125 a night I expected a little more. The hot breakfast was good though — standard fare of waffles, "eggs", sausage patties, cereal and danish. We only stayed as we passed through Spartanburg, and if it ever happens again, we'll look for other accommodations.

Wonderful, friendly professional staff! The room was very comfortable and clean, the service was always prompt and kind, and the general atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. There's a nice variety to breakfast and the coffee and tea counter is always tidy and nicely stocked. So enjoyed my stay here!

Stay there for work… excellent service from ladies at front desk. Breakfast is good. Clean facility and good cool air conditioning and soft pillows.

Solid accommodations on our way to Folly Beach. We have stayed here several times on the trip to Folly. The accomodations are average. Desk staff was friendly on check in. The room was clean as were the linens. New mattresses and covers. Bathroom was clean with just a touch of water damage to the drywall next to the tub. Good accommodations for one night stays.

Had a reservation, called and asked if they rented to people under 21. They said yes. Came around 10 at night, guy working couldn't take our reservation. He had to get the manager and when she came, she started laughing and said we couldn't stay there because I was not 21. Note this is after calling and asking to make sure it was ok, and after the employee had already seen my ID and was trying to check me in. Horrible treatment from her. Some Indian lady, late 30s.

First off, the hotel lobby was very modern and clean. The service was outstanding! Thanks to Tara who really made our stay a hundred times better! She was extremely helpful and curtious! The room was clean and cozy. The hotel was worth the money spent. I would definitely stay here again!

The breakfast was decent. The room wasn't the cleanest and the carpet was very bumpy — — like they had wires running underneath all over the room and then carpeted on top of the cables. Very weird. But the bed was comfortable and I got good sleep. So the experience was adequate.

Stayed here for Assault on Mount Mitchell and loved the room. 100% non-smoking hotel. Highly professional yet warm front desk staff. Room to stretch pre-ride. Big tub. Water as hot as you could want it. There is no fan that disturbs the bathroom experience. Toilet and tub separate from vanity and closet. Desk chair goes up and down. Internet connection is fast. The bed was soft yet firm. The tea is green. Wide range of TV offerings. Refrigerator big enough to hold all the contents of our ice chest. Windows soundproof enough to keep out most road noise. We've stayed in $250/night rooms that didn't have all these comforts nor work as well. Thank you, Q.

I booked this hotel in advance, paying for two nights. I was unable to stay for the first night and called the hotel to let them know I would not be arriving until the second night. I did not ask for a refund of the first night as I understood that I had a nonrefundable room. I was informed by the front desk manager that I would have to book another night as my original reservation would be canceled as a no-show from the first night. I asked to speak to the owner, who was absolutely no help whatsoever. I then called corporate, who were also very little help. The only way to be able to utilize my reservation was to go the first night, regardless of whether I needed to be there. It just made no sense at all. Just stay away!

We got a double queen room and loved it. It was very clean, very comfortable, other guests were respectful and the pricing was ok. Parking was easy too, and the complimentary breakfast was much better than most hotels.

It's old and a bit warn in, but the staff was awesome and the beds feel awesome after a long drive.

The lobby, main entrance and breakfast area were well appointed and maintained.

The hotel itself is nice. My fiance boss pays for all his employees to stay in a room every week, because we live in NC and the job is in spartanburg. There is a woman who works here who looks Indian or mixed with Indian and I'm not sure her name, very skinny, every time I have had an encounter with this woman she is very rude and hateful towards me she threatens me she always tries to kick me and my children out, but not my fiance. When he left to work this morning she called the room phone and said my 1 year old daughter and I need to leave. (My daughter had no clothes because she was sick last night and threw up all over her clothes. ) I tried explaining this to her as she threatened to call police on me. She still told me we needed to leave. So she expects me to take my little baby with no clothes to walk in the freezing cold. This is not the first time she has been mean and disrespectful to me in front of my children. My car was stolen last week with everything me and my children owned in it. Friday 2.5.16 (I remember the date it happened because its my dead sons birthday. ) It was checkout car was stolen I had to wait in lobby for a ride she tries to kick me and my children out of lobby again. She told me I need to sit at hardees or junction. So again she tries to kick my children and me out in the freezing cold. She makes me cry everytime. In front of my children she bullies me and I can't do anything about it because I have common sense with my children.

After looking over the first room they placed us in we asked to be moved to another room. The front desk listened to our complaint and quickly moved us to another floor and room. The first room had hairs on the bed covers, pillows and sheets. We were grossed out and I knew there would be no way I'd be able to sleep. The bathroom was also dirty. The second room was spotless accept for someone else's groceries left behind in the refrigerator. It's a great location and we are females traveling alone. We felt safe. If they actually cleaned the rooms (all) it would be a great place. The management there is lucky to have such excellent front desk help.

Comfy bed and pillow, clean room, friendly front desk attendant! The lighting in the bathroom is a bit dim, but other than that we enjoyed our stay! Unlike the older (quite older) reviews on here, we found things to be in pretty good repair. Quality Inn and Suites Spartanburg certainly didn't skimp on comfort in the pursuit of "Quality! "

I would describe this as your typical "converted" hotel. Older building and facilities, and it shows, but clean enough and a friendly and helpful staff. For the budget conscious who just needs a decent place for the night this works well. Comfortable mattress, clean sheets, cold AC, flat screen tv. Pool is open — it fits the bill for a family of 4 and we didn't hear our neighbors either. A couple of cons — one elevator, so may have to wait a few minutes to get to your floor and the complimentary breakfast was your typical throw together — we ended up passing on it completely and going to a restaurant. Pro — an ok restaurant next door. It seemed to have homemade recipes, not just pre-packaged items on the buffet.
