Beautiful venue, very well maintained, wonderful staff, super chef. Close to everything. A most relaxing Inn.

We enjoyed our stay at the Rhett House Inn! Room 10 was absolutely wonderful with the screened in porch that overlooked the garden and fountain. Be sure to check out the hammock on the top verandah along with the blue porch ceilings. This Inn was dreamy!

We were disappointed with our stay. Our room turned out to be sort of “in the basement. ” Apparently, I screwed up while making an online reservation so the room wasn’t ready when we got there at 8 — even though I called and left a message around 3:30 informing them of our arrival. The room was freezing cold and smelled very musty. One day our room got cleaned. The next day it did not. Breakfast was dry egg sandwich. We stay at B&B’s often and this stay didn’t measure up.

The staff is excellent and the room was amazing with a gorgeous verandah complete with a hammock to relax in. We highly recommend the Rhett House Inn!

It is a beautiful bed and breakfast in historical Beaufort. The breakfast is delicious. Rooms are very spacious with fire places in the room.

Lovely grounds. Complimentary delicious breakfast, tea and yummy cookies and evening desserts.

Wonderful place to stay. Personal touches with cookies, pastries, and tea 12 — 4pm, then cheeses 4 — 7 pm, then desserts and coffee from 7-9 pm. Awesome breakfasts from 8-10am. Our room had a private screened porch with great views. Sadly it was 72 degrees on the 27th of Dec. So we couldn't use our fireplace. But all in all it was everything we hoped for.

The rooms were very spacious, wonderful decks with several seating options to enjoy your beverages, food and reading material. The staff was very courteous, informative, and helpful. The morning breakfast was delicious with Chef Beverly in the kitchen. Thank you for the experience.

The Rhett House Inn is a little piece of Southern heaven in the heart of lively downtown Beaufort. Aimee welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed waking to the sounds of happy birds in very comfortable accommodations. The RHI is accessible to everything downtown by foot and has a beautiful view. Clean, spacious, peaceful, and accommodating, and breakfast at the Inn was the cherry on top of it all. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

One of the greatest stays on the planet and we’ve travelled enough to make that claim. These are great people with great food and great service. This is more than just a great place to stay, it is bucket list worthy!

Our stay has been perfect! We stayed in room 15 and enjoyed our spacious room and screened in porch overlooking the sleepy side streets of Beaufort. The customer service from Aimee and others has been top notch — from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a tour, drinks of our choice in the parlour and bottle of wine — all of which we enjoyed on the breezy large front porch of the main house. The snacks provided throughout the day, the breakfast, and the charm of it all has left us with a wonderful impression of Beaufort’s history and hospitality. Highly recommend for a stay to explore the town!

Lovely old hotel with very creative an interesting rooms that are all very unique.

Awesome place to stay. Rooms are big. I read some comments on room size? I'm 6'2" tall about 240 lbs. Never bumped into anything.

Very nice place, friendly service, great location to Bay Street.

Room 10 was excellent because of its position at the rear of the house with its own porch. We loved being able to walk right in the back door where the kitchen is located and grab a coffee and dessert. The walk to the shops and restaurants was a mere block away. The only thing I would ask the owner to consider is to purchase a new mattress and box springs. They are very old and very loud, and that is not an exaggeration. Otherwise, this stay was most enjoyable.

Had a wonderful time. The staff took care of us like family. Michelle and Savannah and the wonderful staff in the kitchen. Met people from New York City, Hollywood, California, and everywhere in between. Matt, Terry, Judy, Steven, Lenoir, Al… You Know Who You Are, you made our stay complete. Can hardly wait to return and stay again. This beautiful home comes very highly recommended.

Our kids gave it to us for our birthday it was awesome and breakfast was tops. And we live here…

My wife and I spent two nights at the Rhett House Inn Cottage. It was the building two steps away from the main building. Our room was on the first floor. Parking in front of the building was a breeze. The room was very elegant. The bathroom was spotless. The best part of the visit was the most amazing staff that we have ever came across. I cannot put it in words; when people mention the "Southern Charm" I will always think of my stay at the Rhett House Inn and the wonderful people that make the Inn so unique. Starting with a breakfast cooked to your liking, snacks and drinks throughout the day and a desert so finger licking good you might forget that it's not a restaurant. Over all, the Inn is absolutely a must stay at. After spending one night you will be planning your next visit.

The Rhett house is a beautiful B&B that really works hard to make you feel at home. From the tea and cookies in the afternoon, the cheese and crackers served around 5:00 and the homemade pie offered to guests after 7:00, you feel like you are staying with family. The breakfast is wonderful as well especially if you choose to eat it out on the wrap-around porch. We had a lovely stay.

Breathtakingly beautiful house and rooms located in the heart of bucolic Beaufort. The evening pies are hands down the best pies I have ever had in my life. Be prepared for a LONG wait for breakfast however, unless they have improved on that since my last visit.

It is a beautiful inn and we had a charming room. However, the bathroom needs updating and the front desk staff not very welcoming. The waitstaff was friendly but the food middling and we waited an hour for breakfast to be served after our order was placed. Overall, we found our stay disappointing.

Absolutely Fabulous! Beautiful home with marvelous atmosphere of southern living. My two friends and I were blown away by the different rooms each of us had and would have loved to stay longer they were that great. The detail to cleanliness is what you wish for in your own home, but never do yourself. Plus the wonderful to order breakfasts, the afternoon cocktail hour and to top it off home baked goodies from 7 to 8pm! Best key lime pie ever. One last thing I must share, the staff treats you so well you won't want to leave. I love this place, the food and especially the folks that keep things wonderful.

We were visiting family in Beaufort from Florida and were very impressed with the hospitality and friendliness of the entire staff. They were very accommodating, welcoming, and made us feel special. We had a Tesla SUV that needed charging and the hotel let us charge our car, we were so impressed that we couldn't resist writing a good review for them and the staff who were so accommodating and went above and beyond to help us since there aren't that many high voltage chargers around the area. Overall we recommend this place as their staff is the most friendly and provide outstanding and caring hospitality. Thank you for letting us charge our Model X ❤️

Fantastic place, beautiful historic neighborhoodd.

My sister and I took our Mom to the Rhett House for her 91st birthday on May 28-30. We had a perfect experience. Everyone was very friendly and acomodating. The breakfast was wonderful, and the restaurant staff was so sweet to my mother each morning. The desserts were out of this world! We looked for ward to them each night, as we did with the breakfast each morning. The staff were very informative and helpful with instructing us on places to eat, sites to see and shop… even the bike ride we took! We will definitely be back, and will tell others about our memorable experience! Oh, the room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful, and helpful to my Mom, being able to go outside through a door in our room. Thanks so much for everything! Elizabeth Grossfuss.

Beautiful and relaxing. First class service and food.

A lovely place to relax and enjoy a peaceful setting with an historic atmosphere. Well appointed with many amenities including a complimentary champagne toast, cheese platter and fabulous pies and cakes for your sweet tooth. Breakfast was Devine with fresh baked muffins and creamy grits. Just a short walk to downtown Beaufort. I'd definitely go back for another stay.

Can't wait to go back to my special go to place. The Rhett House is not just a house. It's a great place to call home when you visit. The staff is full of southern charm and the actives are well planned and delicious. How could anyone complain about the home like feeling. The room choices are divine and each room has a different decor. We have sent friends there and they feel the same way. Looking forward to seeing you again this spring.

Friendly staff, lovely inn in an excellent location. The breakfast on the porch, evening snacks and night time desserst were wonderful touches and all well prepared. I have to find out what type of mattress I slept on because it was the most comfortable mattress ever! The place was kind of dirty. I guess it is due for a renovation. There were dust bunnies behind the bed and the nooks and crannies in the modern bathrooms were all kind of scummy. The breakfast service was sloppy but I guess acceptable by modern southern standards. There were always a couple of cups sitting on ledges and I overheard heard way too much of the service peoples personal life while having my morning coffee on the front porch. Overall a positive experience but I may try a different inn next time.

One of our BEST "INN" experiences. Our room was wonderful — beautifully decorated, immaculate, spacious, and oozed with charm. Must say, both the bed linens and bath towels were decadent — better than the Ritz Carlton! The Staff and Innkeeper were very cordial and always available to help. The public rooms were lovely and comfortable, the porches very inviting. Breakfast on the porch could be found in "Southern LIving". Great restaurants are nearby and abundant. I highly recommend the Rhett House Inn! P. S. Take the carriage tour too.
