Loved this place. They were very hospitable and attentive. Will definitely be back.

The personal touch means more than anything. Starting with being escorted to your room at check in to the chocolate chip cookies every night. Truly a must stay place when you visit Beaufort!

All around amazing experience at City Loft! Our room had an amazing bathtub and the most comfortable bed!

This place is great on every level. Completely redone, extremely clean and the staff is amazing. We travel quite a bit and are in hotels about 100 nights a year. My gf, who is clean obsessed, said it was cleaner than a Four Seasons.

What a great luxury hotel at a great price! And within walking distance to do many great restaurants and shops in the quaint town of Beaufort SC. We sure enjoyed our stay here and the staff made us feel welcomed and cared for. Used their bikes to ride on the Spanish Moss Trail. Fun!

Really like this small hotel. Rooms are nice, had king size bed, very large bath room with huge soaker tub, 4 rain heads shower sprays and a TV in the bathroom. I could have stayed in the bathroom all week. Free cruiser bikes for guest. Chairs to sit outside your room. Coffee shop attached to building and good restaurants all around. Centrally located to walking to dwtwn Beaufort and historic area. Staff are very accommodating and professional. I highly recommend City Loft hotel. I know we will be staying there again.

A must stay in Beaufort! Love, love this place! The staff was warm and welcoming and the facilities amazing. I was offered turn down service, ice delivered, shown to my room, where there's wine available and received a coupon for the attached coffee shop which I used the following morning. City Loft Hotel is a gem in the city within walking distance of everything and I would have no hesitation recommending it to anyone.

Very centrally located, chic rooms with large soaking tubs and very nice showers. Its quiet and a nice romantic spot for you and your significant other. It's right next to the best breakfast spots and all the downtown shopping and waterfront. I love staying here when we come to Beaufort. Free bike rentals but the tires were flat.

Wow, what an excellent place to stay in Beaufort. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The location is the best, as we could walk to many of the historic locations and restaurants. Highly recommend.

My stay was excellent. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. After checking out I realized I left something vert valuable behind. The staff worked with me to retrieve and ship it overnight. This is definitely a place I will return to.

I had a great stay at the City Life Hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the bed was comfy.

City Loft is a pet friendly hotel located in the heart of Beaufort. The city is beautiful and safe and everything you might need is in walking distance from your door. Bikes are also available, if you choose. The bedroom is very comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. If we have an opportunity to return to Beaufort, we will definitely return to City Loft.

OMG I loved this hotel. It was modern, cute, and best of all had a dope bathtub. Bathtubs are super important to me when I travel, and this was perfect for soaking in, and reading a good book. Treat yourself, and use being so close to everything to wander around. It is a beautiful little hotel, clean, and stylish. The staff was thoughtful and kind and helpful. The little cafe had yummy snacks. I plan to stay here every time I come to Beaufort!

Parking lot was small. The staff was friendly and the room was awesome will definitely be staying there again when we go back to Beaufort.

Excellent hotel. Its not a chain so they are very flexible. Great staff. Turn down service includes warm chocolate chip cookies. The AC works great. Parking is close to your room. The hotel is walking distance to the very popular downtown. Reasonable rates for what you get. This is top of the line for a hotel in its class.

My recent stay at the hotel was due to hurricane Irma. From the get go the staff was more than pleasing. The room was very homey, creature comforts abound. When the parking lot began to flood (due to the fore mentioned storm) the owner Matt and his amazing crew stepped into action, directing everyone to move cars to higher ground, helping to navigate the moves. Matt and his people kept cool heads. We all sat around chatting and throwing an indirect hurricane party. The hotel staff sat with us, while sweeping leaves and debris way, continuously. One saying… "When a guest is at my home, I want to make sure it is nice and tidy". By the end of the day, spirits were still high. The staff, I'm sure were exhausted, but they never waivered.
I, and my boy Ruffuss (dog) felt safe, secure, relaxed, and at home. I would and will, recommend The City Loft Hotel to all my friends and family, and those who barely know me, when they visit Beaufort, SC.

Charming and hyper-friendly staff.

Such a great little place, amazing team and housekeeping were so friendly. Stayed last weekend for a local wedding and couldn't have been better located. Comfy bed and amazing shower!

Have to say all the reviews prepared me for our stay. It's very clean, cool vibe and easy living with a pet. Loved the luxurious bath. We enjoyed the convenience to wonderful resturants, shopping and historic sites and parks for our pup. The coffee shop was steps from our door and also popular with the locals. The people of Beaufort are super easy to talk with. At the end of the tourist season you would think they would be a little tired, but they have a fresh smile and genuine interest in making your visit special with southern hospitality. We will be back.

Awesome boutique hotel with a great coffee shop.

First, let me preface this and say that I have absolutely no vested interest or affiliation with the proprietors of City Loft Hotel. Also, I have traveled extensively in the U. S. And Europe and have stayed at much of the finest lodging available. I live in Charleston but was traveling with a friend to Hilton Head for work. On our return to Charleston, we decided to stop in Beaufort and explore. Neither of us were familiar with the town of Beaufort, nor had friends in the area to make recommendations. We wanted to have a romantic but also culturally enriching day and night, but were at the mercy of the internet and/or driving around seeking lodging for the best rates. We called lots of Beaufort's downtown Bed & Breakfasts and other local hotels. While the Bed and Breakfasts while beautiful, they were also very expensive. We stumbled upon the City Loft Hotel, right in the heart of downtown Beaufort. We were immediately greeted by extremely friendly and accommodating staff, we explained our travel situation, and they gladly let us see some of their rooms. The rooms were recently renovated, with a cool modern vibe. There is a large bathtub and shower in the rooms, making us feel like we were at a spa. The hotel staff spent time making calls and looking up local activities for us to do in both Beaufort and surrounding towns. We were given a pass for the nearby Hunting Island State Park, maps, contact information for activities and restaurants, etc.

Very nice. It was the little things that made my stay very enjoyable. Close to everything it was clean and the staff was more than friendly and helpful. The coffe shop was amazing as well. I look forward to returning.

My girls friends and I had a great time staying at The City Loft Hotel — wonderful location within walking distance to all of downtown Beaufort shops and restaurants! The nicest staff — — Randy and Charlotte told us where to go and what to see during our stay! They rock.

Best hotel to stay in Beaufort! Right on the waterfront, across the street from the best restaurants and shopping. Rooms are terrific and the level of service from the Hotel staff is second to none. This is the only place I will stay when I visit.

Cute motel style refurb. Great service. Loved the coffee shop and their coffee ice cubes! The steam shower in the workout facility was a solid bonus. Only complaint was hearing people walking on the 2nd floor and slamming sliding doors.

We have been coming from Charleston to Beaufort for the past 3 years and we have stayed in a different place each time. I can say after our most recent visit we will only be staying at City Loft Hotel from here on out. The staff is awesome and the rooms were updated and nice.

Service was awesome. Very nice rooms. Clean. Trendy. Our own coffee shop. Also very trendy. Impressive place. We would come back.

Just made it back to North Carolina after staying in this beautiful hotel. My husband and I cannot wait to return! I was impressed with everything from the awesome location, to the great service, to the ultra trendy decor, to the cleanliness of the unit. I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this gem.
