The staff is very knowledgeable as well as friendly and welcoming! The pools are amazing…two kid pools, two lazy rivers and two regular pools, all beautifully maintained. The rooms are good considering that there’s so much to do at the hotel as well as Myrtle beach, that you won’t be there long. But we loved cooking breakfast in our little kitchen and relaxing near the window with our beach view. I highly recommend Sea Crest for families!

We came to celebrate our 1st Wedding Anniversary and all of the Staff have been wonderful! Our favorite is Renata. She is amazing! Beautiful friendly personality and went above and beyond to take care of us. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Upon checking into the room first thing we saw was a roach running across the floor. Call the front desk said they did not have another room to put me in. They offered a full refund and I could go somewhere else but it being 11:00 at night that was on an option. Got up in the morning open the silverware drawer to use utensil and drawer was disgusting. Old food stuck to silverware ramen noodles all in the drawer. Called office and ask to speak to manager. Was told by receptionist that he was supposed to be in at 9:00. But a lot of times he doesn't show up. Later open the microwave to warm coffee same thing old food all in microwave. Looking in oven same thing dirty with food. All under oven and sink area old food. Later that day did get a call for me to stop by the front desk manager had arrived. Was told to email him all my pictures which I did upon leaving. 3 days still not a word from anyone. Would love to upload all the pictures I took in here but does it seem to be a way to do so.

This place is clean, staff is welcoming and friendly my room was comfortable, slept peacefully I'd definitely make this my go to place when I come back to myrtle beach.

The location is perfect and the staff were great! I really enjoyed the inside pool and jacuzzi!

I was nervous about all the reviews I had read before our trip. Our room was very clean and close to the water park and pools. The location was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only things that I did not like was parking in the parking garage and the beds were a little small.

The place is dirty and outdated definitely not worth the $500 a night they charge you!

The facility and rooms were great! However, “Tera” the attendant upon checking in who had booked our rooms was very rude and inconsiderate, we had a party of 18 total, so quite a few rooms (4) of which we were told had wall beds and pullouts…had only a couch pull out and the one bed in each room, FYI: there are no extra wall beds on 15th floor, of which the maintenance guy informed us, immediately upon opening our doors we called down before messing anything up and explained the situation, Tera “told me that there weren’t any more available and we would just have to make do” ok if I wanted to make do so to speak I wouldn’t be paying your prices for sure, so I ask to speak with a manger and of course there isn’t one available. The maintenance guy was the only helpful person that night, he told me who the manager was and who to speak with in the AM, sooo we “made do for the night” and immediately the front desk made the necessary corrections to the best of their ability due to last minute bookings and there being such a large party of us, so needless to say the first night was aggravating, stressful, kids piled on one another, and more.

The amenities are great and staff is sweet! The check in time is long but overall wonderful stay and right on the beach! Everything you need is close by and I love the little mini mart on the hotel corner!

Great place to go on vacation and "maybe" take the kids🤷. Not that expensive! if you drive and go grocery shopping. Great Views. Lots too 👀… Very live atmosphere.

We love this place. The front desk staff were so helpful and friendly. Our room smelled and looked amazing. Loved the little tiki bar where the bartender made some good stuff drinks. The view is beautiful and last but not least the pools were clean and warm.

I had booked to stay at the Sea Crest Oceanfront Resort on 9/4/18 to 9/7/18, but upon arrival I received an emergency phone call and had to head back to NYC as soon as possible. I went to the resort to check in and explained that I would only be staying one night at the resort due to the situation I had to take care of in NYC. I was told that I would have to pay for all 3 nights even though I would only be staying one night. I was appalled, and stayed at a different hotel for the night. I would recommend staying elsewhere when visiting Myrtle Beach. At least you will have a chance of being treated with compassion and respect.

Place was neat but what really stood out was the service. I was a little bummed that I didn't get an ocean view and was facing another building but the distance to the sea was superb. We rented a double and the room was neat and clean but the beds felt smaller than normal vs. Other hotels. It was a getaway for me and my wife but our college kid decided to stick around so we checked in a +1. They were very happy to add a third set of blankets and pillows without any additional costs and made no issues about it. The parking is very limited but they do have a garage across the street. Only problem we had (which I don't even know if they can address) was the shower drain was slow/clogged because of all the sand just from regular use. Check-in is strictly at 4pm when they suddenly get inundated by everyone checking in. Take a pic of your plates and all picture ID's from passengers so you don't get turned away. I got several auto texts asking if everything was going great and to inform them of any potential deterrents to a great holiday happened. Just realized I didn't take any pics but room size fits two (smaller) queen beds, two individual sofa chairs and a small coffee table, a small office desk and chair, a large desk with a fridge and microwave inside, lamp desk and even an ottoman! Whew!

My husband and I met my brother and his wife here to celebrate his birthday. I had read a number of reviews online and one of the things that we were looking for was a clean Hotel. We had not stayed in Myrtle Beach before so all the research online was divided. I do remember reading a review though from a mom who said she was a very particular person when it came to cleanliness and this hotel passed her test. So that's what sold me on this. Being it August, the hotel was full and very busy checking in when we arrived. When we got to our room we were pleasantly surprised, it was very clean, it had an ocean view, and the room itself was nice. The room also had a little kitchenette area which was very convenient. This hotel is definitely a family oriented hotel with many kiddie pools, but that being said the noise was a non-event when it came time for sleep. It was a rather peaceful morning since most families weren't awake at sunrise. The location was at the south end of Myrtle Beach. I would recommend this hotel for families with small children. The prices are very reasonable.

Hotel is pretty nice. Love all the pools and waterparks! Rooms are decent! Need to be updated but good for a decent price! Only thing I’m not a fan off is the room service. My room wasn’t cleaned until the end of the day. I’m not a fan of being short on towels and having to get ready to go out in a messy room. Don’t expect rooms to get cleaned quickly here. Maybe it’s just my floor but I’ve hadn’t I’d my room cleaned until or past 4pm! That’s my only complaint.

There was a cockroach spotted in room 421. Other than that we had a great stay. Breakfast is not free the building is a bit confusing. They had an oceanfront room available last minute in July and check in a was a breeze. The room was clean and comfortable (besides the cockroach). There is an indoor and outdoor lazy river and indoor outdoor pool with a decent mini waterpark for kids.

Staff was perfect and trying to make our visit perfect at every moment. Place was busy as expected in June but everything was well maintained and taken care of. Room clean newer and out in room kitchen fully stocked with cooking utensils. Beach and 9 pools were 2 minutes from out doors. Drinks at the bar were wife approved. Kids loved every water feature. Our new beach destination for sure. Worth the 12 hour drive. Thanks again.

Really good place. Our stay was June 1-5, 2018… Location is on Ocean Blvd which is walkable to many attractions and shops. Our room had two queen beds, stove, refrigerator, ocean view and was steps from the ocean. Several pools available if that's your place. Staff was friendly and met our needs. We would stay at Sea Crest Oceanfront Resort again.

I loved this place it's close to everything and the rooms are huge and very clean. I took a bad fall before getting there so I spent the majority of my time in the room or on the balcony. My husband went to check things out and if he loved it I was happy. It was a birthday getaway for me and we will definitely be back and very soon!

We had wonderful time at this hotel. There is a total of 2 hot tubs in and out, 2 lazy rivers also in and out. 2 kiddie pools in and out and 2 other pools in and out. It was definitely worth the price… We had a complication with A/C one night after maintenance left for the evening so the nice staff switch our rooms to a suite. The suite was beautiful and ocean front rooms are beautiful!

Great family resort. Kids loved all the different pools. Within walking distance to pier and amusement park. Beach location was nice. Room was clean, staff was courteous, and beach view was nice. Only issue was elevator wait could be a bit long and crowded. One tip for check in — will need to take in ID from all adults staying.

Last time I was at sea crest, I got a nice suite with two bedrooms, kitchen and balcony. This time, we went with a cheaper room, still with a kitchen because we like to have a stove, but even the less expensive room is pretty nice. The beds are very comfortable and of course it's right there on the beach, so it makes for a great place to stay if you want to enjoy the sand and water.

The maintenance staff is very friendly and willing to make the stay comfortable within what they are responsible for. Administrative staff need more supervision and are not well informed and therefore cannot provide useful information to the visitor. In The elevator area there was an unpleasant smell. The room is very nice and with beautiful view to the sea. There are Not many eating places unless you go by car, but to get out by car you would take a lot of time for traffic. The Hotel does not have a restaurant just a small kiosk that I never saw opened. He has No place to dine.

This place is awesome for children and adults! The splash park is more than enough with a big slide and submarine boat that the kids completely enjoyed! I loved the bar area and the pool restaurant that serves burgers and keep you from dragging the kids away from the beach. The staff was friendly and quick. This is our new spot at myrtle beach.

Got stuck in the elevator twice. Elevator door hut my daughter and did not reverse. Door keys never worked. Have to go back to front desk 3 times a day. Kitchen fan did nit work so first time I cooked bacon for breakfast it smoke the hole room. Rest of the week we simply smell the bacon. They did not clean our room 3 times out of one week. They never change the sheets after asking them 7 times to do it. They allow people to smoke in kids swimming pool area even after we complain each time. If I could get my $__ back I would. SC was nice but not this place.

This is a nice place. It's right on the beach and my room rate was very fair. I looked at a few other places before booking, but this place with its amenities was the best value. My room was clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. The location has great access to the beach.

I’ve stayed here twice, and it’s been perfect both times. We got the cheapest available room and honestly didn’t expect a whole lot, but it was beautiful and spotlessly clean! Check in was a breeze and all the staff was extremely pleasant. The beds and pillows were also super comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly. The place was clean. The elevator situation is extremely confusing. A little disappointed based on the price. Unlike other reviewers "get what you paid" for remarks this was a mid point hotel when I was looking at it so I was hoping for a bit more than the low priced hotels I'm used to and didn't see much difference. Don't like they try to sell you on some kind of time share. Not enough pool space for the number of occupants, the pools were very crowded. Water temperature would fluctuate in the shower. Not bad but I would probably go somewhere a bit cheaper next time since it didn't seem to be worth the extra money.

I love the pools, water attractions, location, and amenities. It's spring break so the noise level at night is pretty high. A neighboring hotel had a rave going on pretty late that kept us up, and toilet area in our room is tiny. The room needs a few repairs, but overall we love it. I will bring my family back in the future. Oh and being able to text the staff is very helpful! I know I listed many negatives, but they are very minor. We are truly enjoying our time here!

Two night stay with two young children. Check-in process was smooth. Parking was across the street in a parking garage. Only parking allowed by the office is guest check in/handicapped and loading/unloading. We had a 2 queen bed ocean front room with kitchen. Our room overlooked the beautiful ocean. Overall stay was satisfactory. Only major issue would be the Wi-Fi connection in the room. It kept disconnecting and we had reconnect to get back on it. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Room had no bugs that we were aware of — didn't see any. Elevators were kind of run down but was pretty quick didn't have to wait too long for it. Housekeeping was satisfactory. Indoor pools were smaller than expected so we didn't use it since a lot of people were in there. Lazy river was small as well. Outdoor pools were bigger but it was still chilly outside so didn't really use it during our stay. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. We would give it another try if we came back to Myrtle Beach.

David is the entire reason I gave this location 5 stars. The hotel is fine, but David and the 2 ladies at the front desk on the night of March 26, 2018 is what makes this 5 stars. My family of 5 traveled over 10 hours to Myrtle Beach only to find out that our hotel (not Sea Crest, another Myrtle Beach hotel) had double booked our room and we didn't have a place to stay. David is the one who helped us in our time of need. He made sure we had the same number of beds and made our transition as painless as he could. Without David, my family of 5 would have been stuck without a place to stay. He is awesome.

3rd year back… if that doesn't say my thoughts I don't know what will. The staff is awesome, the pools are great. Just a walk on the bridge over the sand dunes and you're on the beach. The location is perfect and close to a lot of shopping and awesome eats.

We booked our stay weeks in advance. Once we arrived and got into our hotel room, nothing but stench, stains, bugs, etc… My wife stated to me immediately that she will not alow us or our children to stay considering the circumstances. We unfortunately after waiting weeks for our stay had to check right back out and let the front desk people know of what we encountered. It was like they were just waiting for us to come say something. I can't stress enough to anyone wanting to book here, DO NOT! We immediately found somewhere else and booked immediately.

The service is great, try booking over the phone they provide cheaper rates. Rooms and amenities are nicely maintained. NY favorite part was the heater pools and other water attractions. The neighborhood is very friendly and the view from the rooms is great.

Nice resort. Spacious rooms, plenty of pools and jacuzzi's, staff was very nice. One of the elevators was acting weird and that was kinda scary. It was the one off to the side by itself so beware of it. Management please look into that elevator.

Staff was nice and courteous, rooms were clean, great ocean view, pools were clean. Me, my wife and two kids had a great time and will be booking another stay here very soon. The outside kiddie pool was something new for my autistic daughter and a blessed memory we will never forget!

My go to place to stay at the beach. Great Oceanview king room. Service is amazing. Asked them to make extra wash cloth art before and they went above and beyond and even showed me how to do it. Love this place!

Our family loves this place! We go every year and always leave counting down the days until we go back. Staff is always helpful, good parking for the most part, plenty of pools to choose between, food and drinks offered by the pool, just a few steps to the beach and so much more offered. If you get an oceanfront room the view is breathtaking, especially early mornings before the sun is up. On occasion (and right season) you can see the dolphins going by in the morning. Within walking distance to some great restaurants and fun adventure!

During our recent stay unforseen events happened concerning the hot water. We we're immediately notified and given the opportunity to move to a room not affected. The problem was fixed within 2-3 hours while we were out and our stay was uninterrupted. Staff is always going the extra mile to accommodate us. Love this place.

We were there over Thanksgiving weekend. Very clean hotel. The bed was very comfortable. The staff at check in were great. The cleaning crew were excellent. The pools were very clean. We had a great time staying at Sea Crest. We will def go back again.

They never disappoint. I was concerned about my room being on the second floor over the pool because I sleep late and I was concerned about the noise. With the patio doors closed, I heard nothing. Sea Crest has one of the best views around. They are right on the beach. The office staff as well as the rooms and grounds staff are really helpful and friendly. I just love them. We have special needs and they made sure we were taken care of.

The highlight of this hotel are the many heated pools and locations for kids to play along with the immediate beach access. Having stayed in many Oceanview Condos, this is by far the best value we've ever had. The hotel staff is very kind, courteous and willing to help. The hotel is very clean and housekeeping was great. There were many elevators to access and all seemed to run efficiently and be readily available. There are only a few negative points we noticed. 1). The parking is VERY limited on location. It says 15 minute parking is strictly monitored and reserved only for registration but it was not. Guests were parked in those reserved spots some days overnight. The parking garage across the street is very tight. 6 stories and many times full until the very top floor. 2). Sometimes the hallways smelled of smoke (various kinds) and had a somewhat "musky" smell due to the carpet. 3). The rooms have nearly no cold water. Usually we love having so much hot water but when we needed cold tap water for the kids, it only came out warm/hot. Again all minor issues considering the value. The last day of the trip there was a "misunderstanding" between me and the desk staff and management. We asked the first day to extend our stay by a half or full day. I was under the impression I needed to come back on our last day to confirm and pay. However after calling to dispute the issue, the management informed me it was only conditional based on availability.

I had an ocean front room and at the end of the resort very quiet staff is friendly and attentive. Not sure what the crowd is like in the summer but the fall is wonderful they have a few elevators which meant no long waits. Cons all amenities are away from main tower and parking is across a busy street. Overall economically a good price.

Horrible choice, we have been there after hurricane, many pools remained closed for a several days. We was there in September and the staff was pretty lazy during our stay. The reception staff needs a good customer service training. There is only one bar in the entire hotel complex. We chose this hotel for the good reviews we read on various internet website,, but I have to say that our experience was poor. In this hotel they are pet friendly and the second day we found a tick climbing up my wife's leg. When we went to discuss it at reception the attention received was a bit lacking in addition to having to change all our things by ourselves. The rooms need a few hours of work, cleaning, painting, new carpet, my valuation is one star.

Great place treat you like family! The bar down stairs is expensive but in a great place if you go with young kids. Plenty of space to sit by the pool and get sun while the kids play or enjoy the lazy river by the kids water playground it's still in eye view. Starbucks is even in the building. The price is also great. And it's ocean front so just a minute walk till your feet are in the ocean. I will always come back to this one place.

Stayed 4 nights here & the first day we got here the kids play pool was closed so I ask front desk when would it be open & they said oh we didn't know it was closed! Took a day & a half to clean it … they were slow! Pool with frog in it water was ice cold so my grandson couldn't play in there. This is a main reason why I chose this place because I wanted my 3 yr grandson to play in these areas. When first walked in room it had a smell but once we turned the air on it got better. Refrigerator door was sticking making it hard to open! Small bathroom. Overall the room was clean! King size bed was comfortable. It was hard to get a parking pass for my family to stay a couple of nights. Front desk said parking garage was full but it clearly wasnt! Finally after talking to a manager she approved one night. It just could had been a better experience for the money we pay!

Really nice hotel. Prices weren't too bad as long as you don't say on a weekend. We got a nice room with a nice view. Daily housekeeping. Nice bar with deals that aren't that bad. There are designated smoking areas which some other places we've stayed didn't have. The parking garage was also not that difficult to navigate.

Great location! Great price. Great amenities. Really enjoyed the Malibu beach bar. Rooms were spacious and great views. Only reason for a 4 star rating was because the maid never came one day to clean the room or anything. Overall good resort.

Nice view of the ocean even from the rooms with partial view. It seems this hotel is geared towards families and it consists of apartment like efficiencies, one-bedrooms and more. A little old, but clean and nice and plenty of towels. The setup of the rooms was somewhat strange with the bedroom being next to the corridor (like a motel). Some rooms with a view face pools which splash water constantly. It would be nice in a city, but it completely killed the sound of ocean waves, which was a pity. Good experience overall.

Horrible experience. Stayed at the sea crest June 23-26 2016. What suppose to been a great time turned into a nightmare as of today June 28, 2016 I'm still suffering. Bed bug bites! Why me?! Can't even go anywhere and enjoy yourself. I have red itchy inflamed bumps over the majority of my body. I'm ashamed to wear shorts and tank tops it just look horrible. I'm suffering, this is the worst feeling ever! I'll probably never stay in another hotel after this and definitely won't go back to Sea Crest.

We stayed in an ocean front room for a last minute long weekend and loved it. The hotel is not a deluxe facility, but it is family friendly, well maintained, and kept as clean as one can expect for an ocean front property with many pools. Our room was comfortable and maid service was very attentive. The only complaint is that the exercise room is minimal and not what is shown on the website. Overall we were pleased.

Housekeepers were great! Very clean facilities in general, enjoyed the entertainment including swimming with mermaid! Kids loved every bit of it. No need o week outside entertainment. This place has more than enough pools and hot tubs. Kinda wished hot tub would stay open later. Gorgeous views for pictures and the walk to beach was very nice! Can't wait to come back!

This resort is affordable, it's on the beach, and close to the boardwalk. Great for families who don't expect a luxurious room, but want to enjoy the pools and the beach. I feel like I was that one unfortunate person upon check in when I upgraded to a suite, that happened to get a dirty room with some issues. But the staff made up for it and provided great customer service. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone look to stay on the beach that's on a budget.

Great hotel. Kids love it — lots of fun at the Waterpark. However, housekeeping is seriously lacking. Room was never fully finished each day. Had to constantly call for towels/blankets because they would only leave 2 towels for 6 people. They took dirty blankets, but never replaced them. They came daily to clean the room, but left all the dirty towels, even though I always piled them together. They are obviously dirty. Despite housekeeping, I would still come back. This is our 3rd visit to this resort. The kids have a blast everytime we are here.

The housekeeping staff beat on my door at 8:45am and woke us up to clean the room then never came back once we went to the beach. You can't use cash for anything. I don't care to run my card every time I order a drink. Excessive noise while in your room from the music at the next hotel. Could smell Marijuana coming from another room while in the bathroom. Definetly would not stay here again.

Wi-Fi doesn't work. The place is dated badly. The rooms are small. The parking is a nightmare. The pools are good. And it's right on the beach.

My visit was terrible! The carpet in the room had some type of residue on it that made your feet sticky. The bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete. The hotel bar, located 3 floors down, played music so loud we could hear it in the room. Other guests were yelling, and being loud, kids were running up and down the halls. Parking was a nightmare. Housekeeping did not do a good job at all. The room was not cleaned properly. Our experience was so bad, we cut our vacation short and left at 10am Saturday night to drive 3 hours home just so we wouldn't have to stay at that hotel another night. I would not recommend Sea Crest resort to anyone, not even my worst enemy!

This place sucks! The place is a nightmare to get in and out of. The parking is on the opposite side of the road with no valet! The housekeeping sucks cause she didn't do anything but make the beds. Didn't give us any clean washcloths. The place is poorly built cause u literally need a map to find ur room. Overpriced for what u get. Full of kids. We wanted a quiet weekend away instead we get stuck with the 3rd floor right above the pool with kids screaming allllllllll day long. There isn't a pool over 5 ft deep so adult can't even swim cause it's not deep enough. This place is a money racket! Too expensive for poor service and poor location. We will NEVER come back cause it's that bad. If anyone comes here u are a fool.

When we showed up Saturday there was college kids everywhere. We took our 3 kids to the pool and beer cans were everywhere on the ground. We went to turn the air on in our room and black chunks of dirt or something started blowing out of the vent far enough to hit the bed. Monday they decided to paint at the hotel. We were on the 15th floor and the paint smell was so strong in our room we had to leave the hotel for a while bc it was making us sick. The room was super small and the cabinets had so much dirt built up on them. Monday they didn't even attempt to clean our room they came knocking on our door waking everyone up asking if we needed anything like towels but they never came and cleaned the rooms and we didn't have a do not disturb sign out. So we had nasty sheets Monday night. And they claim to have 8 heated pools but everytime we got in the pool it would be fairly warm then it would start getting cold bc they were pushing cold water in the pool when we asked workers they knew nothing. One guy said no this isnt the heated pool its the lazy river thats heated (it was really cold in there) when we asked another worker if the lazy pool was supposed to be heated he said its supposed to be and we told him it was freezing he just ignored us and kept going. It was ridiculous. We won't be going back. For 400$ we expected at least a little better. Not to mention the "private beach" is bull.

Cons: The parking is across the street and the parking garage elevator was broken, the bathroom is extra tiny, the beds are squeaky & hard, there is a trip hazard going out to the balcony (a piece of metal around the threshold), hotel is quite dated, the walls are thin (we could hear everything outside our room). Pros: The location is convenient to everything, the oceanfront view was awesome, staff was nice & helpful, my room was clean, housekeeping was offered (but we didn't need it), the beach access was easy to get too, there are several pools & other activities at the hotel. Overall my stay was good. Not sure if it's worth the amount that I spent. But I am satisfied.

We stayed here for one night on our way back home from florida. Absolutely loved it. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff was nice. We were even debating on staying another night but our room wasnt available for an additional night.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Sea Crest. We've stayed there many times before, the rooms are always clean and look just like they are pictured on the website. The staff is always kind and courteous. The Sea Crest is near everything and the family kingdom is in walking distance. We love staying there and will continue to do so.

The rooms did stink. And we was told our room would be ready at 4 and it wasn't ready til 6. But they let us use everything while we waited. The workers were nice. If I had spent a lot of time in the room I would probably complain more but was to busy letting my kids enjoy the hotels clean water park and beach.

Good family atmosphere. Pools are crowded and a bit rowdy due to all the children. I would not recommend this for a couples stay. Rooms are ok but need a bit of updating. Nice for a beach stay as you're not in the room that much. Overall a decent stay and our kids (two boys, ages 4 and 9) loved it.

The people at the desk were really nice and helpful. I had a delicious frozen drink at the tiki bar. I liked the little convenience shop and the Starbucks located in the hotel. There's also a bathroom right by the pools, so I didn't have to go back to my room. There are 3 pools; one outside, one sheltered, and one for kids. The hotel was completely booked, but the pools were never too crowded. I was extremely pleased with the room. I didn't have a view, but I also didn't have to go up any stairs. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the bedding. It was mostly white; I like white bedding. Other than the hotel and the beach, I had to drive or walk about a mile to attractions. I also didn't care for the cleaning staff. They knocked on my door three times before 10am waking me up. Overall, I really liked staying here. I will go back again, but I'll have to ask about a "do not disturb" sign.

It's Awesome if you have kids. They had 9 pools. 2 Big Pools. 1 Indoor 1 Outdoor. 2 Waterparks. 1 Outdoor. 1 Indoor. 2 Lazy Rivers. 1 Indoor. 1 Outdoor. Then parents can sit at the bar an enjoy their time with a mix drink or two while the kids play in the water park or pools you can see everything. Then you can walk right onto the beach. They have a spot to wash off. It's great they have more then 1 shower head they have feet water head an others too. So your clean of sand when u get back off the beach. The rooms are big an spacious. Great service well go here every time we Vaca again. I've already sent some of my family there an their responses were the same. They are hooked an not going anywhere else but here when the vacation too.

Worst smell ever very dirty pools and lots of bed bugs carpetstains very dirty towles and very hard to get ice and took for ever to get our rooms and the reviews / pictures has fake pictuers room 303/307

The only thing clear I loved about the stay was the Oceanview room. At the time of check-in we waited for several minutes with 4 employees typing before we were greeted and assisted. Next, the room was an equivalent of a roach motel honestly. The nasty wet dog smell, the bathroom is so small you can hurt yourself, the sheets were not changed. How do I know? Mutiple strands of long blond hair loosely interwined with the sheets. My guest and myself are brunettes. Also the air conditioner was horribly dysfunctional. I was absolutely pissed about staying here. If I were you, find a different location.

Friendly staff but it was horrible checking in it took like 2 hours to check in because room wasn't ready. We were already tired from traveling. Side of fridge had mold. Didn't see a exercise room. They had to cut our water off on Tuesday from 11pm — 6am and I liked to take shower at night so disgusted. But the beach was beautiful from my oceanfront room. Never again at Seacrest resort.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. This resort is nothing more than a glorified cheap hotel. I saved up for several months to find a great place for my kids and I to vacation. When I searched online, the water park, water slide, and close proximity to Family Kingdom had me thinking this was the place for us. Also, they advertise themselves as being a smoke-free resort, which is important to me. My daughter is extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke, and coughs violently any time she is around it. When I called the hotel to verify this, I was assured that they were very strict about where people could and couldn't smoke. I booked my room several days in advance. When we arrived at the hotel after 8pm, we were told that our room was not ready yet. I am a single mother, so imagine the pleasure I had, sitting in a lobby, with two children. Who were hyper from being in the car for 4 hours. We had to wait in the for one full hour, before they got us in a room. The room was decorated nicely, but two outlets were loose, and coming away from the walls. I am no electrician, but can this be safe? The outlet in the kitchenette did not work, so I had to keep the coffee maker on the dresser by the TV. I almost left after the first day, but I really didn't feel like risking going to another bad place, and I didn't want to pack up myself and two kids again, so I decided we would make the best of it. This place is not smoke free.

The room was very clean and nice. The staff was very nice and all the pools were nice for the kids and the beach walk way was very convenient. The bar had karaoke on friday and it was fun. The cafe on the fifth floor was nice and convenient.

The hotel was pretty run down, the rooms tiny (mine was pretty clean though), and the parking was ridiculous. For the price I paid I expected better. The pools were fun and my kids loved the splash area. The Jacuzzis did not work. The slide has height requirements, you have to be over 36 inches, which the minimum I can understand, but they had a maximum of 5 ft, which I didn't understand. And you have to be a kid, so I was not allowed to go down with my two year olds. It should be based off weight not height. I felt sorry for the big kids who couldn't ride because they were tall, yet short chunky kids could. The front desk staff was pretty nice, but their boss is a total B***h. As we were leaving she was yelling at many of the people parking, spelling out her name to them when they asked. Super unprofessional and quite embarrassing. As people are leaving the hotel that is the last thing people will remember. The cleaning ladies are thieves, don't expect anything back if you left it in your room. We packed the place, left, then checked out, when we left the cleaning lady was a room down from us. WE started driving off, and I was getting my kids situated. I asked my husband where our sons pedialyte was (he was sick during the trip, and wouldn't eat and got very dehydrated) he said he forgot it, I made him turn around, and got a key to go back in the room.

The most nasty place I ever stayed in at the beach! Found poop on the supose 2 be clean sheets! All they could say at the front dest is so sorry! Gross out! Never come back again.

Not at all what we were expecting! Do not base this hotel on the pictures online. This hotel is rundown, broken items in room, scrapes all over walls, refrigerator, stove old and dirty, blankets on beds had stains that looked unwashed (could of come out if threw in washing machine), much smaller rooms than pictures and descriptions conveyed. We reserved an ocean front view 2 queen bedroom suite w kitchenette. Our family consists of 4 of us, children 10 and 12 yrs old. Too small for a week. Also, when we looked on the pools and chairs around the decks, they were dingy and dirty looking. Kids were definitely everywhere, which for us is exactly what we wanted and expecting, but not all unattended by adults running the halls, elevators and pools in groups. Unfortunately, for us and friends (reserved themselves same type of room) we went with, both chose to cancel our stay and found two rooms more North Myrtle Beach to stay for our 6 nights. Staff and manager was very friendly and accommodating and did what they could to make it right. Owners need to update their websites to represent themselves accurately.

We just got back from our week at Seacrest! The hotel was very nice, clean and the staff was very friendly. Our room was kept clean and it was great to have the full kitchen. Having all the pools was an asset to keep all our family happy. It was family friendly with the kids pool and the lazy river. The view was incredible of the ocean. Also, a nice touch was the gates on the walkways to the beach. We didn't have to worry about the younger one wandering to far ahead and getting to the water before us. We had an issue with our safe, maintenance was there within minutes to fix it for us. It was central to everything, but still managed to be quiet. Would definitely go back and stay there again.

I don't know what some of these people expect? They obviously have much higher expectations than they have finances. They are far tooooo picky. If they wanted to stay at the Ritz they sould have booked at the Ritz.

I stayed at the Sea Crest September 18th and September 22nd, 2014 and for the price was very pleased. We paid $65 and got an ocean front room both times. Rick at the front desk was very friendly and very helpful. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was that the rooms really should be updated and the beds were very uncomfortable. However, it was well worth the price I paid and would absolutely stay there again.

WORST THIEVING HOTEL STAFF EVER! We had a great vacation at the SeaCrest resort but I accidentally let my Ipad. As soon as I realized it I called the hotel and was given the run around, and two weeks later I cannot get a call back or response even after many, MANY calls and emails. Since them my "find my iphone" tracker has discovered it an hour away in another city. If the hotel had bothered helping me at this point instead of participating the thievery I would have my Ipad.

We got the room off priceline was horrable it was suoppost to be 486 for 3 nite once we got there it was all of a sudded 601 for 3 nites a 19% tax the room was small for 3 adults and 2 kids the beds were small full size not even ocean veiw room I will never as long as I live go to sea creast agin was ready to leave as soon as we saw what we were staying in. For 200 we could have stayed in luxury at the west gate resort or 188 at the coral reef, the burners on stove didnt work burtn my hand tryin to get the connection to work parking sucked had to park across street in dark parking garage haver 15 mins to load and unload or security will ask you to move I would recommend passing sea creast up and finding a better place to stay. They should shut the hotel down its so bad.

My boyfriend and I have been staying here with our young daughter for the last 5 years. We have never been anything but completely pleased. She was a baby when we first came and is 5 1/2 now. The resort has always provided age appropriate activities and water areas every year for all ages. Also, the staff, especially the cleaning staff, have been always willing to please us and also very sweet and engaging with my daughter. This resort gets 5 stars, A++, and 2 thumbs up, especially if you have a family. It's also walking distance to Family Kingdom Amusement Park which is tons of fun as well.

That is the wonderful experience that I have. I suffered a lot in Vikings Hotel in Myrtle Beach. After one worst night in Vikings Hotel, I made a wise decision to live in Sea Crest. The staff in Sea Crest was very nice and really helpful. They also upgraded my room to a sea view room. I liked it very much! Hope to stay there again.
