Review of Sea Crest Oceanfront Resort 3*

When we showed up Saturday there was college kids everywhere. We took our 3 kids to the pool and beer cans were everywhere on the ground. We went to turn the air on in our room and black chunks of dirt or something started blowing out of the vent far enough to hit the bed. Monday they decided to paint at the hotel. We were on the 15th floor and the paint smell was so strong in our room we had to leave the hotel for a while bc it was making us sick. The room was super small and the cabinets had so much dirt built up on them. Monday they didn't even attempt to clean our room they came knocking on our door waking everyone up asking if we needed anything like towels but they never came and cleaned the rooms and we didn't have a do not disturb sign out. So we had nasty sheets Monday night. And they claim to have 8 heated pools but everytime we got in the pool it would be fairly warm then it would start getting cold bc they were pushing cold water in the pool when we asked workers they knew nothing. One guy said no this isnt the heated pool its the lazy river thats heated (it was really cold in there) when we asked another worker if the lazy pool was supposed to be heated he said its supposed to be and we told him it was freezing he just ignored us and kept going. It was ridiculous. We won't be going back. For 400$ we expected at least a little better. Not to mention the "private beach" is bull. We had our 3 boys out there and a lifeguard made us move bc we were "to close" to the tent and chairs for rent. We weren't even that close and no one was even trying to rent them. Compass cove is where to go! Not here!
