Awesome staff and service.

Excellent as always, room newly renovated and you could tell the friendly front staff was proud to let us know when we checked in, pet friendly which is important to us. The same pleasant young man greeted us last time on our way up and even though he wore a mask his smile showed in his voice and eyes. He is a total asset to the company. We may not travel much anymore, but will always stay here even if we don’t have a pet with us.

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Great place for me and my dog to rest for the night.

Very friendly and helpful desk staff both at my 1am check in and at checkout. Room was clean and comfortable and no noise during the night. Pets were allowed $10/pet max of $20 (I had three small dogs) ; the pet walking area was generally clean and stocked with poop bags … Would not hesitate to stay here again.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This was one of the few places that not only accepted, but seemed to like the having dogs stay. The room was extremely clean and although the place was quite crowded, we did not hear a sound from our room. Thank you La Quinta Inn for a 1st class stay.

I travel with my dogs and thus use La Quinta Inn frequently, I'm even a rewards member. Some LaQuinta's don't let the dogs into the breakfast area, which I understand, but this is the first place where they didn't allow them to sit to the side and wait and/or offered to hold them while I grabbed something quickly. It was either leave them in the room alone and have the barking wake up the whole floor at 6:15am, (since breakfast was served late) or forgo the breakfast I paid for. Given that I had waited an hour to get on the road in order to get breakfast, I was beyond annoyed. If they're not going to try to accommodate dogs, then I'm staying at another chain with newer rooms. Must say, reception staff was very nice and friendly, but the breakfast server was just unnecessarily rude and frankly, mean.

The hotel staff were friendly and courteous. Weekday breakfast, which is a buffet and included in the room rate, is from 6:30 to 9: 30am. Housekeeping staff were friendly and attentive. What is a basic business and family travel hotel.

I was down there for a Family Reunion. The room was impeccable. The staff were helpful and pleasant. It's by just about everything. Amtrak and the airport is about 10-15 minutes each way. And there's 2 malls in the area also.

They let our dogs stay. The room could use a good vacuuming, do the edges people! Bed seemed clean, we'd driven for 10 hours so anything was better than the car. Rm 133.

Clean, comfortable, excellent staff. For Breakfast I had corned beef hash and a waffle and bacon, all were very good. I would stop here again anytime.

Such a nice staff. The cancellation policy is to cancel before 6 pm. We called at 7 to cancel and they allowed us to without any trouble. I was very thankful for this. Will definitely be staying at La Quintas in the future!

Laquinta is the place we. Always stay. We always gave a 5 star review. Unfortunately this time we were disappointed. The room and bathroom lacked in cleanliness, mirrors were all streaked like someone hurried to get the job done. The sheets and towels were rough not fresh as always. The toilet was running. We hope management will take notice and rehire people who take pride in their jobs. Seeing as jobs are not plentiful. We will check our room first before staying again. We like the fact it is dog friendly, but that may not remain if people don't pick up after their dogs like some of us do. Sorry Laquinta we were not real happy this stay.

The breakfast was delicious. The were no disruptions. I liked that it was pet friendly and had elevators.

Had the best check in experience tonight! The clerk was very friendly and professional! I'm traveling with my kids and we needed to stop for the night. This was my first experience with this chain and so far couldn't be happier with the decision to stay here.

Late check in weng great, but before I stay here again I will be calling prior to reserving. The water pressure is not the best, especially if you have thick hair. But my biggest complaint is with the luggage carts. The three wheel style and the SUCK! Had tge stupid thing tip 4 times, 2 coming in, 2 leaving. Had too much luggage to avoid using one. The suck something terrible.

Nice pet friendly hotel. We have stayed several times and it has always been quiet and clean. Definitely recommend.

Don’t waste your money. Looks good in the pictures. Very old. A night from hell. First we could only get ONE room key as they were running low and would have more tomorrow. Was not given any info on a dog park at the back of the hotel or what time breakfast was served. Not friendly at all. Then the room was very old. The heating unit was so loud I shut it off to try to get sleep. But the condenser continued to run all night. The coffee maker was never cleaned. Had an old pod in it. Yuck.

This was the perfect place to stop over night. They are pet friendly and my mom and I had a very comfortable room. There is no extra charge for your pet either. Then in the morning you are treated to a nice warm breakfast.

This place is in need of a serious upgrading. Torn carpeting, stained furniture, dingy atmosphere. I tried 2 rooms and stained furniture in both with torn carpeting. Never again in Florence, I've stayed at other La Quinta's and we're very clean.

We just pulled into Florence S. Carolina to this Wonderful La QuintaInn after 18 hours on the road and I couldn't be happier! Brittany greeted us with open arms! We have a beautiful room and are going to rest well! I also had the opportunity to meet the GM Jarris, you have an awesome team Sir! Thank you for your hospitality! I would highly recommend this hotel as the place to stay here in Florence anyday!

Plenty of parking, modern rooms with tv, fridge and microwave, comfortable beds. Only downside was I wish the breakfast was a bit fresher especially the eggs. If you don't mind these things then there is no reason not to stay there. Also located in a safe area.

Clean rooms, they take pets, breakfast is free but it's the typical free breakfast. Nice exercise room. Easy access to 95. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Good parking lot.

The staff here is courteous and this hotel is a our halfway stop between Florida and Virginia when we travel for the holidays. We have stayed here on five different occasions. Our room was ready early and the breakfast has standard continental options including waffles, eggs, pastries, and cereal. They also allow pets with no extra fee so there are many dogs on property. The guests are mostly people traveling along I 95 and you will not hear anyone up late or making a lot of noise. There is a decent mall close by and a lot of restaurants in a short driving distance. We will continue to stay here each time we make the drive to Florida.

Nice place. Dog friendly with a nice dog walking area in back. If dog area were totally fenced it would be perfect! I was traveling from NC to FL with my Search and Rescue K9's and my van had to be towed. Since I had to stay overnight, the staff gave me a late checkout time so my dogs and I had a place to hang out while waiting. Van repaired, back in Florida by bedtime. This was a bad experience made much better by the people and businesses in Florence, SC. If you have to have vehicle issues when traveling, Florence is the place to weather the storm! Thanks LaQuinta and all who helped get me back to Florida!

I was impressed with the whole experience. I travel with my two small dogs and this place welcomed them openly. I have an elderly mother who needs a recliner to sleep in and they did the best thing to make her comfortable. My nephew who was carrying for the dogs was late for breakfast and the cook made a plate for him. The staff was very nice and the room was clean and beds comfortable.

Had to request extra towels and washcloths. Room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed and there was only 3 towels and washcloths. Shampoo, conditioner and lotion bottles were used prior to. Our arrival. Even though they're complimentary, not keen on used toiletries Rooms were nice. Beds comfortable. Carpets need shampooing. Kids feet pretty dirty after walking on carpet following their showers. All in all, a good stay. Would stay again.

Good La Quinta. Great location just off Rte 95. Lots of restaurants and service stations around. Clean, good staff. Good!

The room was filthy. There was soap scum all over the bathroom mirror and basin. There was no hair blower and only one tiny soap bar. The carpet was filthy and the whole room smelled of cat. What a disgrace.

The location is very good it is just off I 95, it is easy to get on and off there. The rooms are real nice clean and large there are four pillows per bed a nice extra I found the beds were very comfortable over all it was a good experience.

Clean, spacious and the staff were polite and friendly. They were also super accommodating of our dog. If I'm ever passing through South Carolina again, I will be staying here.

This review is for Samantha & Chris. As an Elite member with LQ and an experienced traveler I can say that I've stayed in hundreds of LQ's over the years and this one is right at the top. Aside from the hotel being overall very nice, Samantha went the extra mile a few times to help me out. She was EXTREMELY accommodating and very friendly. I don't know what they make here hourly but I can already tell they deserves a raise. Keep up the good work guys!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and modern. Bathroom was immaculate! As they were out of rooms with 2 queens, we were upgraded to a suite with 1 ling and a pull out. Would give 5 stars except for the train that ran regularly until about 11 pm (always blew its horn).

We had the pleasure of staying at this location during our travels. We are very pleased with this establishment. The staff was very courteous and friendly, they quickly checked us in and answered all of our questions. This hotel is very pet friendly, we had our dog and cat travelling with us. There is a dog "park" at the back of the property that, unfortunately, we didn't get to use, due to heavy rain. The room was very clean and well stocked. It had a microwave and small refrigerator. The bed was very clean and comfortable. Overall, a very pleasant experience, we would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel! The beds are really comfy and I have to say what ever they wash the sheets in has a very relaxing smell. Do tell your secret, I would love to use it on my sheets. Highly recommended.

There was a storm. We were checking in at eight pm. Late from weather. Two charming girls at desk were busy but not rattled! We cannot do stairs and we're on second floor! They had us accommodated at a different hotel on our route when lights came back on! They were masters at handing everyone! GREAT.

Bed was comfy but room could have been cleaner. Mirror over sink looked as though it had not been cleaned from previous guess and shower/tub could have been cleaner. People were nice and breakfast was great. This is a pet friendly hotel and it was that except there was really no good place to take your dog to potty except in front of the hotel and that doesn't seem right to me. Overall we were happy and would stop here again for the night.

Alittle dirty in the rooms needs better cleaning.

Good room for the price. Didn't see much other than my room as I only stopped for a few hours of sleep. The room was clean and comfy and had everything I needed. The only complaint is that the hotel is close to train tracks. Didn't bother me too much but I could see it bothering other people. I would return to this hotel.

Loved my stay very friendly staff room very clean and comfortable. First Laquita that I ever stayed on and will book again. Felt very secure and safe. Guest were very friendly also.

I've enjoyed staying at La Quinta with my family and grown to trust the brand… However there was a housekeeping issue this time. We only reserved one night in advance as we knew we were passing through and arrived late just to snack, shower and sleep. The sink counter and floor had spills and stray beard hairs as well as a layer of dirt evident underneath our bath towel when we hung it. The iron was oddly not in its wall holster but nearly fell on our heads when we pulled down the extra pillows in the overhead closet shelf! There was a sopping wet washcloth tucked under with the shower curtain in the bath safety handrail. The sink filled with water as if plugged but you could hear the pipe sound hollow as if you'd overturned a full gallon waterbottle and created a vacuum… I suspect the air vent was clogged. Also I don't know why there's no vent fan in bathrooms that have no window. Upside beds were great and the window did open to the bedroom… So we slept well after doing housekeeping! We did complain in the morning but only a note was made by the staff.

They had a nice gym but you can't clothes the blinds in the window, they are fixed in the apart position… Atleast on the 3rd floor. They have dogs stay there which is all good except when they wake up up at 6am barking like maniacs. The pillows are huge and I like a flatter pillow… The alarm clock was making a weird scratch noise no matter what setting it was on, so I unplugged it. If you have dogs go for it but otherwise steer clear.

Spacious convenient room, considerably run down around the edges. Pretty decent breakfast. Would have given it 3 stars if I had paid the advertised price.

Very clean, rooms smelled and looked nice, we were able to get an amazing room in very short notice without any problems.

Great location off of 95. Pet friendly lots of dogs however we noticed that people do not clean-up after their dogs. Rooms were clean and service was great. Breakfast could have been better. We did liked it better than other pet friendly hotels we have stayed at.

While the hotel an room were very clean, there is a freight rail line right across the street and a freight train went through at around 1am blowing it's horn repeatedly all the way through the area. Also, there's not much to do in the area in the way of nightlife. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay.

Didn't see anything bad about this place. Showed up around midnight, was greeted promptly and politely by a young black guy. Gave us a great price for a room because it was so late (and we'll stay at another la quinta tonight because of that! ). Room was clean and tidy. Would stay here anytime.

Disappointing! Gone down hill since last year stay. Great for pets, not for people. Ran out of water during shower and couldn't rinse soap and Shampoo. Was late for breakfast due to water stoppage and almost missed it completely. At 9AM Breakfast Food and all other devices (Coffee pots, Milk, toaster, etc. Vaporized in an instant.

We stayed here on a trip south for Christmas. We left nothing in sight within the vehicle but a few hanging clothes. Our window was smashed out and most of our personal property and presents for Christmas were stolen. When I asked the 2 Sheriffs who responded to the call, they told me that this was very common for the area and they recommend staying in the nicer hotels across the street. We also had to leave our vehicle description and license plate with the front desk at check-in (I wondered why? ) but soon realized when I was woken up at 4:30a by a wake up call stating someone had broken in to our vehicle. The hotel was nicely updated, unfortunately we only got to sleep 4 hours that night due to an early wake up call about the break in.

Great place traveling with pet or not. Clean and neat. Dog walk area is grassy and spacious — separate from hotel. Very pet friendly, modern and safe. Laundry facilities inside and near room. Drawback is the poor city zoning and location amidst other hotels. Busy highway with confusing entrances and signage. Fast food mostly nearby or chains. Food desert and not pedestrian friendly. No grocery stores nearby at all. No street lights.

Comfortable, beautiful, nicely upgraded. Great friendly service when I checked in, but late night guest service woman was quite curt and rude. She was DEFINITELY NOT interested in being helpful nor actually giving me service. I had a very simple request of a blanket (since there was only only a very thin cotton one on beds, and none extra in the closet) and a thin pillow to sleep with. I was told NO on both accounts with poor attitude, as if I was disturbing her nap, etc) that's not service. I have yet to experience breakfast, etc. Need to sleep first. Zzzz.

Hotel is right behind train tracks, so at any hour of the night a train will come by and wake you up. The A/C is weird, when you turn it up to make it warmer it actually blows out heat, making it a lot warmer than it should be. Wi-Fi is dial-up speed, and the breakfast is terrible. Fruit looks old, eggs are made from frozen egg discs that are used in breakfast sandwiches, and the waffles taste like sawdust. Also, several times the power went out or the TV would stop working. Walls are very thin so you can hear the people in the rooms next to you. Pool area is super small and in full view of the Days Inn next door, which is the most ghetto place I have ever seen. Only positive points are that the road it is on isn't too busy, so it is easy to get out of, and there are a lot of places to eat close by.

I was planning on staying here, but a walk through the place and a look around the area and I decided to get back on the highway and continue on my trip for 1 hour more. The area is honky tonk, lots of sleazy fast food joints and cheap looking motels and gas stations around. Not for me. The hotel staff wasn't friendly and walking the first floor, the place looked like a dump. Not what I expected at all and I'm finding most La Quinta's are crap along the East Coast / I95.

"High speed internet" that is a joke. Painfully slow. I had faster speed with my phone carrier. No beer sold on Sunday. Anywhere. Including restaurants. On Sundays, there is a loud church group in the meeting room.
