Bugs and dirty room with Covid being a thing yeah I don’t recommend it and going to complain in the morning to tired to try and find another place to lay down at almost midnight I don’t plan on sleeping with two eyes closed don’t want the bugs to get me.

Very rude staff and the rooms are full of spiders.

Nice cozy place. Staff is the best.

Hotel smell like old cabbages plus stood in line 30 mins while the lady at the desk talks on the phone they do that at! If I could I would give them 0 stars.

It wasn't bad. Cheap motel for the night. Didn't see bugs. Cleaning ladies were cool.

This place was $30 a night cheaper than the hotel we normally would have stayed at, so we picked it. Now we know why its $30 a night cheaper. Where to start… I guess the mold in the bathroom is a good start, the hot water not working, the shower leaking, the toilet leaking. The AC had a mind of it's own, would come on when it wanted. So half the night it was hot as heck. The front door wont close and we had to slam it shut. The room was dirty and had not been vacuumed in a long time. Sand and dirt all over the floor. To top it off I got to hear people in the parking lot drinking till about 2am. Just out side, walking around with beer and being loud. This is not the place you want to stay at if you have family or want to get a good night of rest.

Okay. Here are the pro's and con's. It's a good location around the town of aiken, you have restaurants in a walking distance and grocery shopping too. Beds were comfy. But the bathroom could use a little improvement (s). Good place to crash for a few days if on business.

Outdoor pool was dirty. Breakfast was adequate. Room was clean. Hotel located close to several food places. Would recommend for a reasonably priced stay.

Well the main problem is their thieves oh and they have bedbugs but if you are a team do not allow your kids at this hotel. The owner has kept over $1500 for a whole year and refuses to give the money back. Today we talked to the attorney general of SC maybe we will finally be given our money they stole a year ago.

One star for the room was ok for just staying night, booked last minute will never stay here again. Noisy all night, people knocking all night on door felt like I was at the trap house. It already looked suspicious when seeing a women picking up all her things, outside a room door off the floor like she was kicked out her room. Yelling ang loud talking all times of morning very ghetto place. Keep driving if you have options worse headache ever. Lights in hall wall so bright it came through the drake shaded drapes. Worse sleep ever.

The owner really should be ashamed of himself. Coward who hides behind his staff. And all are liars. Was told a third party vendor cancelled my reservation and that they tried to call me because my credit card was not processing. Not true, there was no third party vendor involved that cancelled my reservation, that was the staff, and the credit card was absolutely fine. They overbooked for the days I booked for over a year in advance and all took the coward way out. Owner was going to call me as a priority the minute he came in, well obviously that didn't happen or I wouldn't be writing this. Someone else in a review wrote the staff are liars and after what I went thru today, I concur. Shame on them. But in the end booked a far better place in Aiken so please do your research, there are many better places to stay in the same area. Do you really want to stay at a place like this.

I stayed two nights at this hotel in room 227. Here is what I think: Cons: The ceiling was warped and looked like it was dipping down. The curtain rod for the window was broken but you could still close it. The bathroom door wouldn't close. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned. You had to mess with the front door in order to close or lock it. Even though I had the do not disturb sign on my door, it looked like someone went in anyways. Pros: The shower and sink had steaming hot water. The bed and pillows were really comfy. The room was warm. The stay was quite inexpensive. The breakfast was as good as, if not better than, most other hotels, that cost more. Free Wi-Fi. It doesn't have the shady characters that the other hotel nearby does. Overall, the important aspects of the hotel were good and the only bad was aesthetics.

The rooms are clean and the staff was great. Better than normal for a cheaper motel.

I had no problem with this hotel until someone on staff stole a charm off my necklace. I called the motel said I left a locket necklace with Angel wing charm. They said they had the necklace. Great this necklace means everything to me. It has a picture of my son who passed away and the charm given to go with it. I get there they give me the necklace no charm and tell me no-one took it. Point is they are liars and thieves. I hope they can sleep at night knowing what and why that charm has so much meaning.

Clean room, friendly staff, and a decent complimentary hot breakfast every morning. They also were able happy to make accommodations for my family who checked in a couple of days after me, putting us in rooms that were next to one another. This hotel is also very close to food, shopping, and sightseeing of downtown Aiken.

Lovely! The suites are 2 traditional rooms connected. The beds are comfy, the shower hot, and 1 price for 2 bathrooms is terrific! Its also great for hanging out. There's so much seating!

Absolutely love the Clarion and the staff is wonderful especially Mrs. Ora who always makes us feel so welcome.

Clarion Inn and suites, not bad for the price at all. Clean rooms, comfortable matress and includes breakfast with your stay. Small but decent pool with a separate grilling area. I would definitely recommend this location as a good place to stay for less than $100

GREAT LOCATION, SUPER HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY STAFF, For the price, a VALUE, a comfortable room and bed, I will stay here again when I come to Aiken.

The worst experience I could imagine. They took the money out of my bank account after I had already paid. They gave me back my money for the first wrongful withdrawal. I can't get the second one back. They refuse to help and won't call back. So stay here if you enjoy being scammed.

The hotel was nice enough but we were on the second floor and kept getting a REALLY strong cigarette smell every time our neighbor below lit up (which was often). Also, the breakfast was really bad and there were way more people than tables to seat them. The staff was very friendly.

Room was nice. Someone had been smoking in our non smoking room previously. Our comforter was old and the feathers we're clumped together.

Very friendly staff, Very clean place to stay best hotel ive stayed at in a long time. Stayed at the one in Aiken its also near major stores and small town setting. Great place to stay highly recomended from me.

It's a little on the questionable side. I don't do spiders, ants and little bugs. Especially with me in the dang room. I recommend a inside hotel this is basically the same as those by the hour places… yikes.

Between the hair left behind, ants, spiders and lil crawling things going out of pillows I don't quite know where to begin. I have video… Oh the staff was nice especially Ms. Ora and her daughter. Btw this is a motel not a hotel and when paid in advance but had to check out the next morning because of nastiness they refuse to give me my $1064 paid in cash for the nights we didn't use. In the words of #45… SAD.
No worries tho corporate is going to refund me. Believe Dat.

Booked a room for our technician. Was turned away because he was not 21, was not told about this upfront. Leaving him out of town and no place to sleep. I am sure the hotel is a nice place. The staff was friendly at least.

Not quite what I expected.

Price gouging for nights during The Masters so already off to a bad start. A. C. Didn't work either. Not a good experience.

My family stayed at this hotel last night. The hotel is right across the street from Applebee's, The Fresh Market and Pizza Hut. The hotel is a little older but we enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, the rooms were clean, and we didn't hear people in other rooms talking or closing doors all night. The beds were comfortable and linens were clean. I really loved the price so next time we are in Aiken we will be staying here again.

Worst hotel Ive ever stayed at. The rooms were extremly gross, it smelled bad, and there were BUGS in both of our beds!

The Wi-Fi and cable internet in the hotel and slow and mostly unresponsive. There were pubic hairs left in the bathroom. I had to go to the front desk to get coffee, because the maid didn't leave any in the room. A huge party was taking place past midnight out side of my room and guest services did little to dissolve it.

We were in the Aiken area in Feb. 2009. Our stay was for 2 nights. The staff was extremely friendly. Good value for the money. Baths were dated, but over all we enjoyed our stay. Above average because of the staff.
