Reasonable price, breakfast is brought to you, room is spacious, beds are comfy, pillows are soft, CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! I have NO complaints I wish I didn't have to leave! Shower feels amazing. Pet friendly, carpet is soft.

Very large clean, comfortable room, large bathroom and shower. They basically give you breakfast in bed. I was so relaxed, I didn't want to go home. I will definitely be back!

Booked 2 nights at $69 per night. Got an email confirmation and everything. The next day I got an email from the manager raising my rate to $179 the second night. I politely told him I have a confirmation letter and asked for them to honor those rates. He still said no but did adjust a bit off the $179 but not enough. I canceled my reservation. It was a polite and respectful exchange just feel they should have honored the rates on the confirmation letter.

I don't understand the 4.2 stars. You need to understand this if you have a family or don't want exposed to inner city drugs and criminal activity. This place attracts problems and undesirable people at times. It's out of sight, away from the PC downtown State College area and a good place to hide. Ownership, you have a gem here, great food and quiet location. Please clean it up.

Pleasantly surprised! Reasonable rates with clean room in a nice quiet area, pet friendly with lots of grass areas to walk the dogs! Will definitely stay again when back in the area!

Know what? I dig it… Lobby is a beer shop, open till 2am. Wish that came standard with every cheap hotel. Dude. Cool spot. Delivery free breakfast through a little secret door? Wha?!?! Heck yeah. Rooms are just as underwhelming as anywhere else, but it’s clean and there’s charm.

We had a minor issue with the bathroom however, the management was quick to make the situation right and went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

I wanted to give 5 but unfortunately the walls are SUPER thin? The four of us hadn't seen each other in a long time and were talking/laughing in our room and we got a noise complaint in like 10 mins. No drinks, music, tv, nothing. Wish the walls weren't so thin because they also sell beer! We would have bought some to drink if we didn't get a noise complaint while we were sober… ugh. Lots of space in the room though. Nice TV and plenty of desk space. Fridge and microwave which was super nice but BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS. They were very uncomfortable and our necks were sore from them.

Old school motel about five miles from campus, but the rate was very reasonable. The lobby is also a liquor store. Staff very friendly. Having a continental breakfast delivered to the room was a nice surprise.

The motel is in a good location close to the town and the university. They have the best rates around when it's not football season and they have clean and comfortable rooms.

For a motel this is a nice place to stay. The outside is a little sketchy but if you can get over that it's pretty nive rooms and service.

Best value at this price in the area, especially so close to nearby Gigi's Southern Kitchen, a restaurant with very cozy seating and an outdoor patio with a fireplace. Save on the hotel and have an amazing dinner within walking distance. Five minutes from the excellent Rothrock coffee.

Rented a room there and was denied return most likely because of my race the ramada is better they aren't racist.

Was quiet and affordable, the room was clean. Nothing fancy but just what I needed.

A budget hotel with great value for the price. Large room and bath room, older furnishings and design, yet clean and spacious. Nice outdoor set-up for canine guests.

It was very clean, quite, & had very polite workers for which were very helpful! I plan on staying here again! For the price you can not beat it!

Budget is in the name. Wifi is spotty and phone didn't work in room. Accepts pets, breakfast consists of a muffin and drink and has a basic store front that sells 99% alcohol and maybe 1% soda. What do you expect, being so close to campus.

The good: very close to downtown, a cheap Uber ride away from everything. Plenty of parking, easy to get to. During an event weekend, the price is still decent. The bad: the housekeeping staff were awkward and will let themselves into your room in the early morning without announcing themselves if you don't reply to their knock. And then will smoke outside your room. The rooms are outdated overall, but the TV is decent, a good size mini fridge and microwave. Overall if you just need a place to park and sleep, it's not a bad option. Just temper your expectations.

Planned on spending several nights at this hotel. Unfortunately this was not how things worked out do to some unforseen issues. Management handled these issues efficiently and effectively. We left happy and satisfied knowing that the problems had been taken care of.

Fantastic stay! Super clean room. Great service. I asked if they had coffee and the lady prepared a caraffe and basket of accoutrements just for us. Breakfast was so fun for the kids when it came in the special nook in the wall. Would definately stay here instead of a big chain when we come through again.

Our stay at the Nittany Budget Hotel was a very pleasant experience. I initially had some qualms with it not being a name brand property, but the rooms were very clean and well maintained. They included refrigerators and a microwave. In addition, they provided a basic continental breakfast, via a vault that was located outside the door. We would stay here again.

I stayed there last year when I went to a Paranormal Conference at the penn State Campus. This place is great. It is not too far from the campus. All of the places in town deliver there. The place is VERY clean and has free Wi-Fi. The even deliver breakfast to you in the morning. The breakfast is a cold one, stuff like danishes and such. I'm staying there again tomorrow.
