Amazing hotel! Beautiful rooms and amenities. The staff was very nice and we were able to book a room without a prior reservation. We will definitely stay here again.

Had a FANTASTIC stay here. The room was excellent, but the real highlight was the breakfast. For a continental, it was outstanding. They clearly work hard to get really high quality food. The pool was also excellent, and the hot tub actually had some heat to it, unlike most hotel hot tubs which are merely tepid.

Friendly staff and clean hotel for a fair price. Pool is adequate for a quick dip and hot was refreshing. Close to shopping, a fairly short drive (less than ten minutes) to downtown State College and easy freeway access.

This hotel is located in a great spot. It's close enough for everything you'd need and far enough away to avoid any traffic congestion. Front desk was great, very friendly and helpful. The best I've experienced in awhile. Calling to reserve a room was easy and quick both times I called. The rooms are well equipped and clean upon arrival. I had the towel holder break off the wall in one of the rooms though. But I can't be upset about something like that. I'd suggest this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the area.

This is a beautiful hotel, the lobby is very attractive, the staff are very welcoming, the check-in process was quick and efficient, the room was large and very well laid out, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, the internet was very good and the laundry was free. Only one problem which was not small. Do not stay in room 418! This is the top floor and the air handling equipment was directly overhead and pulsed and vibrated. I reported it but the hotel was full, they were having to turn people away so there was no possibility of moving. Within an hour I had a raging headache and it continued throughout the night. The pulsing and vibration was impossible to ignore. I would stay here again but would not accept a room on the top floor.

Had a pleasant stay at the Best Western for one night while at Penn State. Less than 10 minutes from campus. Room was very spacious and overall the hotel is fairly new. My only gripe is that the walls and the floors seem very thin. Heard a lot of walking in the room above me. The hotel was clean and overall very well kept. Breakfast was complimentary. Bed was comfortable.

The staff was phenomenal and they were very helpful whenever we had questions. Check in and check out was fast and efficient. The rooms were clean and the cleaning staff was quick, our room was cleaned in the 45 minutes we were out to lunch. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone while you are staying in State College.

I love this hotel I always stay here when I go to SC PA. The staff is so polite willing to accommodate me as needed and The continental breakfast is DELICIOUS! ’ The indoor pool and jacuzzi is amazing I highly recommend this hotel.

I visit here everytime I am in state college. It's a nice clean place with good breakfast options and an indoor pool.

Very nice room. Had a microwave and a fridge. Could stay there for a longer. If you like. Breakfast was very good. Waffles, eggs and sausage. Additionally plenty of bread for toast bagels and yogurt. Nicely decorated.

Really conveniently located off I 99. Close to the mall, Walmart, Sheetz, and several restaurants. Rooms were comfortable with a small private balcony.

Rooms were clean, soap and shampoo smelled like lemon cleaning products, breakfast was good, lots of options available. Pool was clean, and warm in the pool room. Service was excellent and fast.

I think it was a very nice place. Breakfast A1 & the pool besides a late night bad chemical reading got shut down early so worth the stay. I would go back to it.

10 yrs coming to this same place on Premier Dr. In State College, THEY made the mistake and booked us for a room to accommodate 2 people when we needed one for 6. They had no other rooms available when we arrived and refused to give us a refund. Will never stay at a Worst Western again. Great job to the management for trying to save a couple hundred bucks, you just lost a lot more than that. *Update* Management has made contact with me and offered a partial refund as well as other compensation to make things right, this was all I was asking for from the beginning. Thank you.

Very clean, nice hotel. Friendly staff, energy efficient. Pool and hit tub were great! of I had to complain about anything it would be that all the doors to the rooms are extremely loud. Sounds like they are being slammed.

I loved it! My family came here for a gymnastics competition and we stayed here one night and I would do it again! The pool was nice and the breakfast was great! I can’t wait to stay here again!

The staff were very nice. Loved the lighted mirror in bathroom. Pool, hot tub, and our room were clean. Free breakfast was good. No complaints. There was a snow event and I consider noon to be a generous check out… and appreciated it!

Rooms were nice and comfortable. We liked the idea of the indoor pool but it was alittle cold to enjoy. Breakfast was nice but the waffle line was very slow with only a single machine and all of the seats were occupied so their was no room to sit.

Hotel very nice overall. The bathroom floor was ICE cold! Wish I brought my slippers! All employees were nice & capable. Ice in the parking lot was not managed well. Anyone with walking issues had to be super careful to prevent falling! Breakfast was good… coffee was not!

Great hotel. We Checked in with ease and the front desk lady was great. Had a nice breakfast. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.

The night manager who checked us in was a very nice younger guy. He was very sweet and offered to help carry our bags, but he said some very inappropriate things. Didn't offer a crib (which we learned were complimentary the morning of checkout) for my 11 month old son. And the oil workers staying above us were really noisy but that's not the hotel's fault. Breakfast and the breakfast attendant were amazing! And overall the hotel was nice and clean. Would stay here again, but I'm really curious as to what was up with the night manager guy…

Very clean, spacious rooms. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was one of the best included breakfasts I've had at a hotel in recent memory. Lots of options and waffle toppings.

My first time at a Best Western location. I'm usually loyal to Hilton brands. Was really impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The Bath & Body Works toiletries were a nice touch, too. Breakfast was standard… most comprable to a Hampton Inn. Incredibly warm and friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again when visiting State College. It's a little far from campus, but the price is right and the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. Would highly recommend.

Christine at the breakfast bar was awesome. She went above and beyond making sure my party had everything we needed. She made us feel welcomed in the morning when we first came down for breakfast and invited us to use the conference center to eat our breakfast when the lobby area was full. She came over several times to make sure we were doing OK. We look forward to seeing her next year for our yearly friends get together /first game of season.

Very clean, very nice rooms. Was here for work and made myself at home. The room was huge with a king bed. My only complaint, although it's minor, I went to use the laundry room and found that there is only one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel. I got there at a good time, everyone else had to wait in line.

4 1/2 stars. Whoever designed this hotel was thinking! Our rooms was large and clean, the breakfast was hot with a wide variety of food choices including an automated pancake maker (a first for me). The staff was excellent. The only negative is that the carpet is stained, not only in our room, but throughout the hotel. But I couldn't stop marvelling at the thought that went into the design. The bathroom included a makeup/shaving mirror that swings out over the counter. The room electricity in turned on and off by a room key, an amazing green feature I had not seen before. There is even a dark blue makeup towel in the bathroom to prevent staining of the white towels. The pool is nice and clean with water the perfect temperature. There is a nice exercise room. The location is quiet, which means there is little within walking distance, but that may also keep the rate down.

Loved this hotel, definitely top five of all time for us. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Beds and bedding were ridiculously comfortable to the point it was hard getting out of bed in the morning. Breakfast was great with lots of options. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint/suggestion: there should be a posted minimum age for the hot tub. We didnt get to use it during out trip (even though I made a quick stop at walmart for a cheap bathing suit hoping to enjoy). There was a couple with two very young children using the hot tub as their personal pool. The children were still in diapers, and from the looks of things, not the swimming diapers. All in all a great stay though, and we will definitely be back!

Convenient convenient access to both the state college and Bellefonte. Excellent service, the staff was pleasant and helpful. Will definitely stay hereagain when I am in the area.

I am staying here in July, I have stayed at a Best Western hotel in Frostburg MD and ever since then I won't stay anywhere else… if it's my choice! I love this place, nice, clean, friendly, and a value for your money. I love the way the rooms are set up and so pretty. I feel like I can relax comfortably, without worrying about someone who stayed before me. Nice breakfast, great Wi-Fi, I just can't say enough about the Best Western.

The room was a suit. Beds were uncomfortable but the room was great. Bathroom was very well equipped. Shower head had a little too much pressure for me.

Nice new hotel. Gave me a good rate. Parking my 18 wheel rig was a bit of a challenge.

This is a clean motel. Very nice staff. Great breakfast. Travel many places and stayed at many many motels. This is a nice one.

Service was good and the pool was great. The only thing that was a little lack luster was breakfast but other than that it was great.

This hotel has a very broken equipment, the price is very high. External decoration of the Hotel looks quite like it, but take a look at our facilities. The hotel has no bar, no equipment, Elevator runs slowly, like a sloth. Room is small, so small that you can't plug a cat. Not to mention unable to live under. The furniture in the room are very cheap, I stayed in the room with more space, more spacious, because another Queen bed was moved out.

The staff is so friendly and their hotel is actually green, unlike many of the others in the area. Close to the mall and other shopping attractions and they're a quick drive to the stadium if you're in town for a game!

Very pleasant team and lovely room. My only complaint was the plastic glasses in the room, which weren't idea for my evening glass of wine. Altogether, though, a good value. I'd return.

This is my second year staying here during a professional development institute. I love that it's on the bus line, since I traveled via MegaBus. The rooms are clean, staff is great and Free Wi-Fi. The hotel is walking distance to the movie theater and mall.

I made a reservation at the Best Western in State College, PA for the evening of 04/18/2015. During the on-line reservation process, I requested an early check-in (12 noon). We arrived at the hotel at 11:15 AM on 04/18. We were told that our room was not yet available. I had no problem with this, as we did arrive 45 minutes prior to our requested check-in time. I told the front desk staff that we would return later that evening and would require a late check-in. The front desk staff responded with a friendly, "No problem. Enjoy your day. " At this time, another guest approached the front desk and requested another night's stay. The front desk staff addressed this guest with, "That's not an issue. We have availability. " We returned to the Best Western at 9:30 PM on 04/18, and we were informed that no rooms were available for that evening. We could find no other hotels with availability that evening. We decided to make the 4 hour drive home. Best Western, State College obviously has no concept of "reservation". I wonder why a guest was allowed to extend their stay when no rooms were available later that evening. Did this guest get our room? Stay away from the Best Western in State College, PA. Horrible, horrible experience.

A nice surprise, this hotel was very clean and quiet. The perfect place to stay when visiting Penn State.

My experience in late August 2013 was highly positive. I arrived late at night to discover that the online reservation service I had used to book the room had not notified the hotel; the staff gave me no trouble about booking the room at the online rate. The front desk answered my questions about nearby stores; made sure the Business Center's printer was running and stocked with paper; even brought up a stain remover for my next day's clothing. The morning shift was also friendly; the woman in charge shared how much she enjoys interacting with customers and made sure my checkout went smoothly, and the housekeeping staff were friendly as well. There were also various breakfast options, which I appreciated.

My family had to change rooms due to availability issues, but the staff went above and beyond to make our transition as painless as possible. Even one of the cleaning folks noticed me standing by the door, and he seemed to know that I was waiting on something to transport my bags to the room. He went out of his way and configured a dolly for me to borrow. The hotel is perhaps one of the cleanest Best Western Hotels I've ever stayed at.
