The man at the front desk kicked me out because I was confused on what time my reservation was for after being yelled at I cancelled and went somewhere else. Also I heard someone complain of bugs.

Decent for the price, room was actually very nice and more spacious than I expected. Fridge and microwave were a nice touch, although I was only there one night and didn't use them. I became very skeptical when the owner insisted on making a photocopy of my credit card, which feels like it might be illegal, but if there is any strange activity on it I'll know where to start. My biggest issue is that my room was so far away from the office that I could not get an internet connection and had to spend most of the night at a local fast-food place instead of being able to do work in the room that I paid $65 for. I asked the owner about it and he just handed me the same slip of paper that told me to open my "Network And Sharing Center" and choose Rodeway Inn. Yes, I know how to connect to the internet, it's 2018, I've been doing this for years, my problem is that the network isn't showing up, can you help? Nope, sorry, here's the same instructions (in broken English) AGAIN. So if you just need a place to sleep and shower, this was an okay value for the price, especially when there was a big concert in town the same weekend and most other places were sold out. Just don't believe the part about "free Wi-Fi".

Room was drench with the smell of smoke but this was supposedly a none smoking room. A/c did not work, and kind of a sketchy area for me. Consistently noise that interrupted my sleep. But atleast it was a place to sleep while my truck was in the shop.

This is a basic hotel but it was neat and clean. The room had a fridge with separate freezer space and a microwave. The bathroom was small but definitely big enough to use. The bed was firm but comfortable for a night's sleep. Mr. Patel at the desk has a very warm greeting and IS VERY HELPFUL. We came in after midnight and he had everything ready for a quick check-in. For the price it is well worth it.

Great price, it's no Hilton. But you get what you pay for. It was clean a little dated. It is pet friendly however and that's what I needed.

There is no restaurant… one of the things we look for. Traveling by motorcycle… still on Web site… Keep looking.

Large rooms cheap not dirty but not well kept either.

Very creepy and crappy terrible room service no complimentary breakfast unless you consider 2 donuts and cheep coffee breakfast.

It has beds. The mini-fridges are nice. That's about all I can say about it. Beyond that… It's dirty, loud, and it smells.

Pas yable comme on dit. Forget it, go elsewhere for 20$ more.

Philip and his staff were friendly and sweet. They did everything to make our stay a happy stay. Rooms, linen place was clean and cozy. Everyone was real helpful to make you feel right at home we will stay again no doubt.

So far… so good! No complaints anyways.

Convenient with a nice diner right up the street. Close to the Scranton/Avoca airport and the Lackawanna Stadium.

The room is clean. But it smells very bad. And the bathroom very old and yellow. The towels look 20 years old and with hair of other people. They need remodeling. Good guy in recepciom.

I know I posted twice but I feel the need to quantify GREAT customer service and hospitality! There is one front desk clerk, Phil. Not only is this place a great value when you need a place to stay, working outta town and don't wanna spend a FORTUNE! Its CLEAN, has nice looking rooms, and AFFORDABLE! On top of that Phil, not only does his job with smile, kind word, and hospitalable manner but he makes you feel like you're with friends! Makes the long stay not so lonely! So if you want a nice room at affordable prices that's NOT a ROACH MOTEL and employs staff that makes you feel like you're at home… THIS IS THE SPOT! Don't take just my word, look at the PRAISE for Phil at the desk! If Im in this area again, I won't EVEN LOOK at another hotel!

Bed bugs so stay away! I've stayed in many places all over the world and never ran into this problem. Room was semi clean but me and my husband is what the bed bugs had for supper.

Front desk employee very nice, called our room to see if everything was ok. Room wasn't fancy but clean, fine for a one night stay before an early flight. Don't know what the breakfast is like as we left too early to check it out.

Definitely an older "motel" but the room I had was clean and nice enough. The door did have some interference with the door frame. All in all I'm glad I landed it as for some reason 98% of all the hotels in the area were booked that night! Also Terry's Diner is right next door which is super nice.

I stayed here overnight with my wife and two kids on the way to a family reunion in New York. The motel is a little rundown (our door was hard to open, the toilet seat had wear marks and was the wrong shape, temp control knob on the fridge was missing). I can't say much about the location as we arrived at 10p. M. And didn't leave our room until morning, but the view from the parking lot was worthy of a picture. So, why four stars? Philip Patel, the manager, is quite possibly the friendliest guy on the face of the planet, and he runs the place right. While the hotel needs some maintenance, it is clean, and Mr. Patel responded quickly (and happily! ) to the few issues we had. Definitely not a place I'd want to spend any extended length of time, but if you just need a place to sleep on your way to somewhere else, you'll enjoy just meeting Mr. Patel. And paying $50 for a family of four is pretty hard to beat these days.

The staff was really friendly, the Wi-Fi worked easily, and the AC was nice and cold. The room, though non-smoking, had obviously been smoked in (a lot! ), and there were no curtains for a set of windows that let in way too much sun. I'm not sure why they attempted to provide breakfast items though. The month-old little donuts could not have been edible. I must say though, for thinking we were going to have sleep in the car, this was definitely a relief, and I slept quite peacefully.

Walked in on by staff while sleeping at 4am. They walked into my room and did something in the back without trying to wake me or announcing their presence. They didn't close the door correctly when they left, so I woke up a second time hours later to a wide open door with my belongings out in the open and myself visibly asleep in bed to anyone that passed by on the street. Later was walked in on by staff (not housekeeping or room service) the next day while I was in the bathroom. The best was when I told them to hold on until I was out of the bathroom and they acted shocked that I was present in the room at all. They would have known had they knocked or acknowledged the "do not disturb" sign hanging on the doorknob. Neither of the two times did the staff call, knock or announce their presence.

The worst hotel, I've seen so far. Not at all suugestable for families and for kids. Rooms are congested… Air conditioner was not working… no ventilation, no air, full suffocation… can't sleep for one night also. The morning breakfast and coffee were too worst. Please don't prefer this stupid hotel. : — (. Before booking this hotel, we were also seen reviews and booked it. Later on we realized it's a hell. Bed bugs, dirty beds, bed sheets, bathroom etc… OMG. Can't describe anymore…

The customer service was abysmal the rooms were dirty there were no towels pillows and sheets were missing it had a foul odor they tried to overcharge me it was absolutely horrible. I recommend no one ever go there.

Very friendly! Customer service is wonderful. We rented 3 rooms for one night. The gentleman in the office showed us the rooms before we paid. Our rooms were very comfortable with nice clean linens! In the morning he greeted us with fresh coffee and donuts. Perfect quiet no frills hotel. Very cheap price, two thumbs up!

Dark, dingy, smelled horrible. Bugs. Guy in underwear standing outside our room who wouldn't move so we could get into the door.

Why did I not read the reviews before staying? But all was true. When one had to pick hair out of the shower before getting into it, then its disgusting. Wallpaper all stained, floors filthy, bed was a plastic mattress that was so hard. Nice scratchy blanket. Pillows that were worse than the mattress. Didnt see any bed bugs, but I felt like I could not get clean even after getting home. After taking a shower, I wiped the shower stall with the washrag just to see. And the rag came up as brown as could be.

Priced right. Our rooms were clean. Maybe a bit dated but well maintained. The owners are nice. The coffee was good. A bed, a bathroom and a t. V. What more do you need?

Alert! bed bugs warning. My husband I were both bit by bed bugs. PLEASE do not stay there. We are now having to wash everything and steam clean our luggage. It feels like a nightmare. Also, was not very clean. We stayed one night because most hotels were all booked up. Something needs to be done about this place. Health Dept where are you.

We had a problem with our truck and wanted the hotel as close to the dealer as we could, so we ended up here. Its ridicules, we going to leave this after 3 days. The service is horrible The facility is dirty and old The Coin Laundry was unbelievably dirty It was hard to get the Room cleaned And they keep their mattresses in plastic covers so they can sell them as brand new never unpacked but you can barely sleep on it, it sounds like you sleep on a hard plastic back. Unbelievable, go to Wilkes-Barre there are some GREAT hotels! just around the corner.

To night I found a big asss bedbug in the bed, im going go reports this too the health department.

Crazy bedbug problems, rude staff.
