My daughter's field hockey team stayed here while in town for a tournament and we had a very early game on Sunday. When the staff found out they went above and beyond and offered to open the continental breakfast early so we could be fed. They immediately called the nice lady who works the breakfast area and requested she come in early. She was wonderful to accommodate this request and we greatly appreciated it! All the staff was so friendly and helpful! Thank you.

Just a wonderful place! My husband and I had to move out of our home for 9 days because of extensive work being done through the "lead abatement program" The nice part was that we were allowed to bring our "fur baby" with us. The staff was so kind and positive towards the three of us. A special thank you to some extra kind and respectful staff: Velle for being so up-beat and kind (especially to Max our dog). We miss your sweet smile. And to her daughter Veronica who welcomed Max the first day and became his girlfriend. Lol. And, to Ilsa for making us feel like family. With staff like these three, the Hampton Inn will have a special place in my heart. God Bless you all. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay so comfortable. You really were a God send.

Musician James Wallace is a veteran of the stage and travel and he knows this is a great spot when he sees it on his itinerary! After his long travels and extremely late check-in, James fell right to sleep in the clean and quiet room and awoke to a complimentary hot breakfast that started his day off perfectly! He got great use out of the modern fitness center to get a little exercise before getting back out on the road. With such a resounding endorsement, we at Ignite Hospitality look forward to sending more of our guests here when in the Lancaster area in the future!

Everything about the stay worked well. Everything in the hotel was clean including the room and the bathroom. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of charging options for gadgets. The Wifi is free and worked in room and lobby with plenty of speed. The breakfast tasted good and was well prepared. The staff I met were friendly. The hotel is within walking distance of good food options. Not sure why, but the outdoor pool was closed in early September. I didn't plan to use it but was surprised.

Love the staff and the entire facilities. Beautiful outdoor pool and lounging area. Inside is clean and incredibly relaxing. Everyone wants to please and make sure you enjoy your stay. Beds are ridiculously comfy and the pillows are straight out of a catalogue. Just a wonderful experience.

Lovely experience. Traveled with my family and everything was well done. Close to the highway and to the heart of Amish country. Breakfast every morning was great. Nice selection Hotel staff were sweet and helpful. Thank you for making our trip extra delightful!

This Hampton Inn is very clean and neat. Everyone that works here is kind and thoughtful. The outdoor pool area is very pretty and nicely landscaped. The breakfast buffet is very clean and well stocked. This is one of the nicest Hampton Inns that we’ve stayed at o we the past five years.

This was one of the best Hampton Inns that my family and I have stayed in. Check in was a breeze with Daniel. Rooms very nice and cleaned. Coffee in front desk 24/7. (Even had the good creamers for coffee) Breakfast was awesome, could use some bacon tho. I had forgotten to purchase milk for my 1 yr old daughter around 930 pm at night so I when to their convenient store in front desk for milk and they didn't sell it. Front desk manager (Daniel) went out of his way and without any hesitation went to the kitchen and came back with a cup of milk. Daniel is super awesome. Not only he saved me a trip to the store, but he helped to eased my infant's crying. Now that's customer service! Thank you again Daniel! Will definitely be back. You're an asset to your company my friend.

Excellent service from staff. Comfortable clean room. Breakfast was fine for a hotel breakfast. Just wish didn't cost $200. Per night (incl. Tax).

Classic hotel. Good breakfast. In driving distance of many things. If you're in Lancaster for some reason this would be a fine place to stay. I slept on a pull out mattress. Good showers.

Great place to stay. The room was clean, common area were clean and tidy. Breakfast in the morning was good. The staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful in find things in the area.

Hotel was close few minute driving distance to all beloved Lancaster attractions. Hotel staff were all pleasant and helpful. Room, breakfast and other hotel areas were clean. Outdoor pool area has wonderful seating area under umbrellas to spend time outside.

Rooms not as clean and crisp as other Hampton Inn's I have stayed in. Bathrooms could have used a little better scrub and clean. Breakfast the French toast sticks were stale and the western egg omellets tasted like fake eggs and served kind of cold. The staff was very polite and attentive, though.

It was nice and clean. The front desk was pleasant and helpful with everything that we needed. They also served complimentary breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Would definitely go back.

I have such great things to say about this hotel. We stayed here for 12 days on business. The housekeeping service is top notch above the rest. They give you plenty of soft towels, hand towels and washcloths along with plenty of shampoo, conditioner, lotion and makeup remover pads. Their free hot breakfast is wonderful. They have waffles, English muffins, bagels, sweet treats, along with eggs, sausages to name a few with yogurt and cereal which I brought it back to my room. At night they bring out cookies for guests to enjoy! Costco is just a stones throw away, so I was able to walk over. The staff always welcome you when you walk in which was welcoming to my husband after a long days work. We are definitely coming back in May to this wonderful hotel! Karen.

This hotel had banana and chocolate toppings for their Belgium waffles. That’s really all that needs to be said, however the rooms were modern, spacious, and clean and were generous on my checkout time. 10/10!

I stayed here for work. The staff was very friendly and they even left cards in our rooms welcoming our work team to the area. The breakfast was ok could be a bit better. Clean rooms. Walls are bit thin. I could hear the man next door have entire phone conversation but he could have been just a loud talker because I didn't hear much else the rest of my visit.

Clean, updated, had King bed and pullout couch. Both were very very comfortable. Full breakfast was great with fresh fruit and waffles. Amenities were great, especially cookies in the lobby at night.

Just spent one night here. The hotel is easy to get in and out of and is located near Rt 30 which appears to be a main road through Lancaster. The staff allowed me to check in early as my room was ready. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. I ate lunch at an Isaac's next door before checking in and it was very good. The was another place, a sub shop, there as well and I wanted it for dinner but it's only open for lunch. There appears to be a nice restaurant in the complex next door as well but I didn't check it out. I heard no noises at all so either it is well insulated or there were some well behaved guests staying here. My one issue is the breakfast. If you don't like or can't eat yellow cheese don't plan on eggs at a Hampton Inn. All I ever see anymore are scrambled eggs with cheese or some variation of eggs/cheese and never just plain scrambled eggs at any Hampton I stay in.

Stayed at the Hampton inn Dec 15th. Was visiting the Lancaster area for a show at Dutch Apple Theatre, checked in later in the day due to traffic. Ask if they accept AAA or AARP discounts, was told by the desk clerk that they do sometimes and, she would check, after looking at the computer screen for a minute or two, her reply was "not tonight "my question is either you do or you don't. However, on your web page it is a selection when booking a stay. I am a Hilton honors member also…

It's a very nice hotel. It's well kept and clean. Highly recommend.

Very nice staff. Maintenance worker, the man that fixed and adjusted our thermostat was great. Very respectful and professional. He should be complimented for his work. The breakfast was good as were the breakfast workers. The two issues: 1. This newly refurbished hotel allows dogs. In and of it self is not a bad thing, but to allow them in any room without restraint seems to be not appropriate. My son has a dog allergy and even if the room had been cleaned/changed after the dog stayed there, this would not completely leave the room dog dander free. This should be a noticed thing to all guests as if it was to happen, unfortunately, we would avoid staying there again. As who wants to child to have a asthma allergy attack in the middle of the night. (the hotel should re-visit this policy) 2. The rooms appeared to have been made smaller. Probably not true, but the beds were the same size but nothing fit in the room. The dresser was completely not usable as, if you have a room that fits 4 people, you should be able to fit those 4 person's clothes somewhere this was not possible.

I have stayed at this property numerous times for business. Each time I arrived, whether it be 11am or 2am, I was always warmly greeted by the staff and enthusiastically welcomed back. I stayed a few times during the renovation and also once it was complete. I was surprised how spacious the rooms now feel. I love the clean modern look and the new beds were quite comfortable. Housekeeping always had my room ready for me each day and if I ever had a question or concern, the front desk was very helpful and responsive. I hope this helps anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the area. I can't say enough good things about the team and newly renovated rooms.

Overall, I had a very nice stay at the Hampton. The staff was friendly and my room was clean, the bed and pillows were also very comfortable. Free Wi-Fi was a nice touch, there's a small gym; my only issue is that the air in the room felt stagnant. There's also an outdoor pool which was closed (it was 95 out that day).

Great stay, thanks! The staff was friendly and helpful, as well as extremely LGBT friendly. I reserved a block for my wedding and people who reserved late were still offered the block rate. They offered a room for our after party too, at a really good rate. When we arrived, the hostess very enthusiastically congratulated us and made us feel welcome. My only complaint is that the deodorant for people who forgot it was $3 for a travel size, but that's pretty minor.

We spent one night here. Overall the stay was pleasant. The staff that we encountered was friendly and helpful. The decor was nice and clean. I would have preferred a sheer curtain for privacy when the shade was opened on the window. Especially since my room was on the first floor. The landscaping was gorgeous and I wanted to enjoy the beautiful view without passerby's peering in. There was decent breakfast bar. I am all for modernizing but the closet wasn't my cup of tea. Clever but not my preference. Next time we're in the area I'd stay again. Finally, I miss towel racks in the bathroom to hang your towel.

Staff was friendly, safe location, room was fine. Had trouble with the lights in the bathroom and there was a big bug in the elevator. Bed was super comfortable.

Have always stayed here on business trips. Just returned home a week ago and still have heard nothing about my complaints. The hotel was renovated and instead of making it better it is much worse. It was after midnight and we could here people walking around in the room above us. We could also here the TV in the room next door, When I complained I was told by the manager that he never had a complaint like that before besides you can't keep children quiet. I never said anything about keeping children quiet. When my husband questioned the manager about the noise he was told that they were aware of it and it needed to be re-insulated. The renovation people had to come back. They now allow pets. The barking of a dog was extremely disturbing. Management had to wait for the people to return before anything could be done. The thing that was most disturbing was a dog in the breakfast area that the owners thought was so cute. I called corporate when we got back and was told someone would be in touch. Still have heard nothing! Don't think we will be going back anytime soon. We used to stay at this property at least 4 — 5 times per year.

Staff very friendly, not the best Hampton I've stayed in… no closets just hanging rods, corner sinks In. Bathroom, no where to put your personals, pool area nice, breakfast not bad but a lot of people on Sunday morning and they had a hard time keeping up with restocking the food. Lancaster is beautiful and the Amish area is nice. But I think the Ohio Amish is more "Amish"

The Hampton has been recently remodeled. It is beautiful. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff in the entire building went over and above to be helpful and sincerely friendly. We brought our dog and they all talked with him and made a fuss over him and he loved all of the attention. We will definitely return to this location.

Great hotel and staff. Hot breakfast. I do wish that they served turkey bacon and/or turkey sausage. However, the breakfast was really good. Definitely a great hotel, with great amenities and centrally located to things to do with the kids. We'll stay again.

Just had a "girls weekend" at the Hampton Inn in Lancaster. Let me tell you from the time we arrived til the day we checked out, we were treated like royalty. At the reception area we were greeted by Veronika. She was very professional and very helpful (especially when it came to ordering food for delivery to the hotel when we got rained in). The stay included a hot breakfast each morning which was over the top. I made my own waffle and that was a first. :) The room was perfect. Clean. Temp was good. Bathroom was spotless. I had read prior reviews about bed bugs and that's the first thing we checked. Not one bug to be found. I can't wait to go back.

I attended a wedding at a venue right down the street from the hotel. The staff was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfy. The continental breakfast was alright. They had trouble keeping the food warm so it wasn't the best breakfast but the food was good.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. The stay has always been nice, but nothing exceptional. The television was a little grainy.

Room reservations and check-in extremely smooth and room rate was good. Our room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The room was on the 4th floor and we had no noise issues over our 23 night stay. Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly.

Nice hotel provides the essentials. Close to my client and also has good food in the area. Directly off major highway. Rooms are nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Key for me the fitness room has the elliptical I need for daily workout.

The room was clean and nicely appointed. What struck me was how the bathroom layout was very efficient for 2 people using it at the same time. The food options in the convenience shop at the front desk were also a nice touch for when we got in late since many other places in the area close early. Would stay again.

Worst service I've ever encountered by far! The general manager was rude to a female patron and denied to book her a room or honor a reservation she had proof of. I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism or blatant incompetence in customer service ethics. I was honestly appalled by what I experienced enough that I would never choose to stay at this hotel again and seriously reconsider any Hampton stay. I feel incredibly bad for this woman as she appeared to be from out of town. This service was encountered on 2/10/15. Whoever this manager is obviously needs to brush up on customer service skills and immediately removed from customer interactions.

Worst Service Ever This hotel has the worst service ever. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone. They do not clean your room at all. When we came back to our room nothing was cleaned — the trash was not emptied, the towels were not replaced, the bedspreads were left as it is. When we called up the front desk, he said there were no staff available to clean the room! Secondly, they do not provide enough breakfast. People had to wait forever for food and some left without having anything since they said everything was finished. They do not have enough staff for guest service. Nothing is organised there. You could see the receptionist sitting at the front desk wearing casual outfits. Not worth the money! Never go here if you want to enjoy your stay.

We recently reserved a block of rooms for family and friends attending our daughter's wedding. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We had use of the shuttle to and from the wedding venue which worked out very well. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Everything was great.

I had my wedding in Lancaster and EVERY guest was from out of town (including myself and the groom! ). Monica Gatens worked with us and was so wonderful with everything. She met with us, showed us rooms, gave us a great rate, reserved a meeting room for our guests. We received a free shuttle and free room. Monica helped us hand-select the rooms for the bridal party and was incredibly patient and organized as guests called in to reserve a room in our block. Hampton was able to give us a very large room block on Memorial Day Weekend — something that few other hotels in the area offered to do for us. The rooms were spacious and clean which was great since we took hundreds of "getting ready" pictures in them! Everyone who worked there was extremely kind and helpful. The guests all had a great experience, a great breakfast, and loved their stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I've stayed here multiple times on business trips. On my last trip I left my laptop power cable. The staff readily FedEx'ed my cord back to me with one phone call. All the employees here are polite, the rooms are more than sufficient and always clean. The nightly soup is awesome. Even if my company didn't pay for my stay I would choose this hotel if I were in the area. Never disappointed.

Halfway through a five-night stay and loving Hampton Inn as usual. Great complimentary breakfast buffet, clean and elegant room, friendly and helpful staff. Minor critique: beds could be more comfy, fitness center is tiny and no indoor pool or spa. On the whole, though, totally recommended.
