Everything is absolutely gorgeous, the atmosphere, the grounds, the food, the rooms! We’ve stayed there many times and each time tried different rooms, each one is special. Would highly recommend this place for a nice getaway, girls getaway, wedding’s. They have it all! Due to try out the spa next time!

Had dinner there — it was not crowded at all and so made for a nice and quiet atmosphere. Ordered my filet medium but it was over cooked and so not as juicy as I would have liked. Looked at the online menu prior to going and it showed risotto as bring offered but unfortunately it was not. My husbands salmon was ok, not exceptional. Food was average, but I was expecting much better at this price point. There was a wedding this evening so perhaps the James Beard nominated chef they have was busy with that because I’m pretty sure the medium done filet mignon I ordered but received as well done instead wasn’t cooked by him. The grounds were beautiful, my meal just average — won’t go back again.

We came to Glasbern Inn for two nights for our 10th wedding anniversary. The room was perfect, so so so so clean. I’m the type of person who brings my own cleaning supplies to hotels and won’t bring a bag in until I’ve inspected and cleaned every inch. 🤪 I did not need to clean a single surface, I didn’t see a spec of dust, a smudge on the window or mirror, not even streaks or hard water stains on the counters or shower glass… nothing, so exceptionally clean. We stayed in the lower farmhouse, we had neighbors below us and next to us that we never heard a peep from. The grounds were breathtaking even though we came before most of the trees and flowers had started to bloom, and it didn’t even matter, it was still so pretty with the daffodils and cherry blossoms. So I literally can’t even imagine in a month or two how gorgeous when everything is blooming. The inns were occupied, we saw cars, and some people at breakfast and dinner but we rarely saw people otherwise. We didn’t see anyone while walking the trails so the property felt like it was our own most of the time. It was super romantic and felt secluded even though 5 minutes down the road there are lunch spots and stores and things like that. Was so nice. Breakfast was wonderful both mornings. Dinner the first night was good but not great, the chicken was a little dry, it wasn’t bad but not memorable.

Dinner and breakfast were exceptional. The staff was wonderful. You could see the stars from our patio. Lovely grounds, just a beautiful place to stay.

Dinner in November was delicious. Not sure what happened since then. Came tonight for my birthday and it was terrible. Salmon was so salty I could t finish it and the risotto was cold. Unfortunately we have more left of our gift card so we have to come back.

A fantastic adult get away with great amenities on site & friendly helpful staff. A few minutes drive from several vineyards & dining.

From the moment we arrived on the stunning nature filled grounds beautifully decorated for the holidays. To check in with the Friendly beyond words staff. We entered the upper stables suite… Jazz playing Fireplace on a spiraling staircase to the large private jacuzzi

kitchenette, sitting area, Tv though not needed. Outside stunning view, rocking chairs… Outstanding room service
a gift for our anniversary now will be a yearly tradition.

It is so beautiful. The cabine is very clean. Five star. The staff are very nice and they're followed social distance. You must have your mask when you go outside.

What is not to love about this fabulous place? It is a hidden jewel with the most fantastic staff that made our daughter's wedding finally happen on July 31 after a postponement from April 25. Excellent service, fantastic food, beautiful grounds, terrific accommodations and so much more. It was truly an incredible experience. We are beyond grateful for everyone going above and beyond!

Best mini getaway I’ve had in a while. Staff are very personable. From the massage therapist and house keepers, to the innkeepers and dinning staff, and even the guy who helps with the property and the animals who is a neighbor, everyone is very nice. The chef did a great job as well. Food is very good! Also a very relaxing place for singles, couples, or groups of people. The scenery here and the staff make for a very relaxing atmosphere. A special thanks to Patricia from the dinning staff, and Antonio from the front desk, and the innkeeper. They upgraded our stay and went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable time here and made the experience much more relaxing. We will definitely be back. Hands down by far the BEST getaway from the daily grind of the city and life in general. Five stars! 10 out of 10! I hope the same staff are here the next time we come.

What a treasure waiting to be discovered! Get yourself to Glasbern! During our all too brief stay, our Gate House suite was lovely & warm, our dinners were delicious & perfectly seasoned, and the staff was attentive & kind even with weddings going on both days (in which we were not involved). The owners themselves, as well as Walker and Patricia, were especially welcoming. The grounds and the beautiful barns/buildings must be explored and enjoyed. We cannot wait for the chance to visit again!

The Glasbern Inn was absolutely perfect for our wedding! Walker, Erica, and Tyler were amazing and so accommodating! Honestly it felt like home they treated us like family. Everything we needed or wanted was done to perfection. The rooms and the Dairy were amazing! The food was beyond delicious and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous! This is the perfect place for a wedding and we had an absolutely perfect day!

We just had our wedding there and over all I’d say it’s a 3/5.
The grounds and atmosphere are beautiful. The food is impeccable. I have a few vegan friends who doubted their food being vegan because it was so delicious (it was vegan). The staff was always very polite and helpful, but there were definitely issues along the way.
We had 3 different coordinators before the final 3 coordinators stepped in. 6 total people. All but one of them, who no longer works there, were wonderfully helpful when we spoke to them. The communication between them however is very much lacking. They also all seem very over worked due to the high turn over rate of coordinators and tons of events going on.
So many events that some kind of bridal shower was held in the area my reception was going to be, WHILE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE SETTING UP FOR IT. My MOH has to pass along instructions to the staff for setup because she had to get ready for the wedding. There was also a mixup during cocktail hour and 75 people were corralled into the Pub instead of spreading them, as planned, between the patio and the pub. When I asked the coordinator about it, I was told the passed hors d’oeuvres were never supposed to have been brought to the patio. After a few moments though some of the waitstaff began passing them outside. Bartending was also severely lacking during cocktail hour (again due to the lack of staffing).

My mother and I visited the dining for my 30th birthday. The portion of food was very impressive and the flavor of real ingredient food, you could tell the chef takes pride.

We just had our wedding there this weekend. They did a wonderful job and it was a spectacular night. Food was amazing and everything came together great. My only complaint was that during my time planning the wedding, they went through 3 different wedding planners. And when I arrived for our wedding, was notified… by my parents… that the second one was taken off the wedding and a man I barely knew was taking over. I received no call ahead of time even though this change was made several days prior. Thank goodness that Tyler and Joanna saved the day and pulled everything off. I have heard from several people that the owner of the Glasbern is very hard to work with and pretty much that they can’t keep a wedding planner because of him. I believe once he leaves, the venue will be run much better.

The place looks fantastic and the staff are friendly. However, their billing department is horrendous. My card was erroneously charged an additional fee and management absolutely refused to refund the fee back to my card; despite the fact that my credit card company and I provided them with evidence of the said charge. It's a real shame because my wife and I planned on referring friends and family to Glasbern. But after the fiasco with refusing to refund the bogus charge back to my credit card; we will be taking our money and business elsewhere.

The grounds are beautiful. We came for a wedding and enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay. The staff are all so nice and helpful. We definitely plan on coming back soon.

Loved this place. Spa was worth every penny. Room was wonderful, added a package to include dinner and champagne! The grounds are worth taking the time to walk, food options were limited but extremely well executed. Close to Kutztown University about 20 min.

Disappointing! We were there for dinner on Saturday night. The menu is nice, but execution is lacking. They claim to be Farm to Table, but really just feature a few menu items from PA. The worst part of our experience was the service… the staff is untrained. It’s obvious that FOH management simply doesn’t care at all! Too bad, considering the location/ grounds are gorgeous. I do give some restaurants 2nd chances, but not Glasbern Inn… we will never return.

I'm very torn writing this review because this hotel is ADORABLE, the staff is wonderful, and the food is great as well. That being said, if you are squeamish about bugs or don't like when things aren't renovated, then this hotel is probably not for you. Upon entry to our room, I had to kill a bee (luckily, there was a flyswatter on the bedside table), there was a huge dead wasp on the stack of towels, there was a dead stink bug hanging above the headboard, and several flies in the room. Now, granted this is a renovated farmhouse type hotel, so some of that is to be expected, but it's just something to be aware of because it was a few too many bugs for us to make a trip back. All that being said, the food is great and the staff is very helpful, so if you're good with bugs, then don't let this review deter you!

Loved it, very nice and calm. The breakfast is awesome. Very nice and happy people working there. Was very pleased with my stay. Was there for 3days for business meeting, I hope l had stayed long enough to explore the natural beauty.

Very rustic and picturesque setting, but for $400 a night I expect everything to work and to be clean. Very nice for a wedding.

Booked multiple rooms for a business trip visit to Allentown. Short but nice stay in early spring. Walked the lovely grounds and had team meeting in dining room. Good Wifi and workspace, nice beds, huge rooms, fireplace, tubs built for 2 (didn't use) and great shower. Fun and different spot from our usual chain, Good food, relaxing, though service a bit slow,

Amazing place to stay. Our room was clean and the staff was friendly. We stayed during a snowstorm and we will be back again. Dinner was very good and we’re glad we got the midweek dinner and room special.

The Glasbern is the most beautiful place. I stay there for business, even though I don't earn any points, because it is so relaxing and peaceful. This would be a great spot for a romantic getaway.

Amazing. Highly recommend this quaint, peaceful, clean, spacious, romantic, classy, barn style retreat. Beautiful country views. Must get a suite! The vaulted ceilings were about 25' high, fireplace, jacuzzi in room, sleep by number mattresses, mini fridge, quality toiletries, etc. Dinner was scrumptious and everything was so fresh tasting! Breakfast was included with our stay and the choices on the menu, presentation, and taste were superb. Staff were friendly and attentive. This place is a hidden gem that sits on 150 acres. Only con: I wish there was a little more water pressure in the shower. Otherwise, can't say enough about Glasbern. Exceeded my expectations and the pretty photos online are nothing compared to seeing this place in person! Rustic elegance at its best. Loved it and can't wait to go back!

This is a very nice country inn. The rooms are large and nicely furnished with large tubs (some are whirlpool), really nice showers, big screen TVs and Select Comfort (name brand) king size bed. The service was great too! We definitely will be staying here again.

The room was very nice and cozy. The restaurant on the premise was so good the food was so delicious and the staff was the best. I had the stuffed chicken with risotto, I practically licked my plate and my husband had the pecan crusted striped bass and he lived it as well. I recommend everyone find the time to come and enjoy.

This place is gorgeous. We were placed in the cottage which is amazing. It was freezing outside but very toasty inside. In fact we got a little too toasty and couldn't figure out how to turn off the heated floor! The breakfast is amazing. We were very nervous about the fact that there were no prices on the breakfast menu. We ordered conservatively and were pleasantly shocked to find that the gourmet food was complimentary. It was a very nice stay. Wish we lived closer.

I just came home from spending a magical weekend at your beautiful inn and honestly only wish that I could have stayed a little longer. I made it to this amazing inn because my boyfriend Joe decided to whisk me away for a night as as a surprise we couldn’t travel too far as I already live two hours from him but he wanted to do something special for me and boy did he supersede any expectation! He surprised me by pulling into your magical inn that looked like it was fresh out of a hallmark movie with freshly fallen snow lanterns lining the cobble stone entrance, restored barns with the most delicate rustic flare and warmth. We parked and walked into the beautiful main entrance where smiling faces Amber and Antonio greeted us both super sweet people who helped us check in and set up our dinner reservations. We then decided to go get settled in our room and WOW it was beautiful detail is not a thing you guys lack! After settling in we made our way to our dinner redorvations in the dinning room. We had the pleasure-of being served by Allison (spelt just like my name) and went on what seemed to be a endless taste bud adventure with every bite and the most delicious prosecco berry drink!

We still love the Glasbern! They've grown a great deal since we last stayed there 15 years ago. Unfortunately, in exchange for expansion they maybe sacrificed a bit too much in the upkeep / renovations of existing rooms. Small details like the shower head not staying in place, the sleep number bed being a bit old, and holes in the bathroom walls from where old fixtures were removed (all in Pack house room 73), are just enough to leave mild disappointment, given the rates. In a lesser B&B these would be no big deal. However, given the cost of the stay, I would expect these details to be better addressed. Again, it remains one of my favorite B&B's but I hope they invest a bit more in upkeep and renovation as soon as the latest expansion project completes.

Wonderful location for all types of events. I've hosted my own wedding here and have attended work pretties here as well. Never a disappointment.

Great farm to table inn with rooms in individual buildings made from restored barns. Most rooms have fireplaces and huge hot tubs. The food is made on the farm or sourced locally. The staff there are great and truly care. We've been going for nearly twenty years and love this place. Room rate includes a gourmet breakfast which makes it a bargain. Rooms are ridiculously big by hotel standards. It's a small place so sometimes you have to wait while your waitress has to check someone in, but this just adds to the charm.

Two years ago I found the Glasbern Country Inn. It is en route to family and a seemingly great location to stay along the route. This year I finally had an opportunity to work in a visit during the Thanksgiving weekend. I studied each of the unique rooms and reserved one that I loved… I was very excited. We arrived today and checked in to a room. NOT the room I reserved. I asked why we were not in the room I reserved… I was told "a gas leak". Made no sense. Because each room is unique, I searched out our room by foot. And inside the room I reserved two months ago was a person… In my room! I confronted the front desk… One lie led to another lie, led to excuses, apologies and no resolution. The people have zero respect for people's vacation plans, money! At one point I was asked if I would like them to ask the person in my room to move and I thought they should. When I have gone to any hotel or resort if someone else reserved a room that I have been assigned, I am informed of the next guest's arrival date and instructed that I will be required to move to another room at that time. As for the Glasbern, I am told the person in my room was a routine corporate guest… That is no reason to disrespect my reservation! And likely another lie! Noteworthy — Glasbern has a seven day cancellation policy… I am required to pay the expensive room rate if I do not show up or cancel within 7 days, BUT Glasbern has no commitment to the reservations the guest had made!

Went here for a dinner to catch up with some great friends. The duck was really tasty, a lot like thanksgiving on a plate which was appropriate with the time of year. Was told all ingredients come from their farm which, I’m always a big fan of. The atmosphere here is really warm and inviting, great for a group or intimate get together.

This place is a amazing old farm converted into a Inn. The amenities are top notch and a staff to match. Excellent dining and full made to order complementary breakfast. Enjoy a morning stroll after breakfast on 150 relaxing acres of wildlife. Highly recommend for couples looking to keep that flame burning.

Beautiful property, GREAT HELPFUL STAFF… especially Dan who served us in the Pub. The food was EXCELLENT, the property was quite and serene… It was an all-around peaceful, relaxing, rejuvenating stay. My only complaints are the maids who were rude and very unhelpful and the beds.

A very special place for a romantic getaway. Comfortable room with propane fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Large grounds for a nice stroll after the complimentary breakfast. We look forward to visiting again.

This place is beautiful and so peaceful. It was a wonderful get away. Next time I will bring a swim suite. I didn't see it had a pool before I arrived. The breakfast was great. The rooms are very nice. Just know your sleep # for the bed. That was fun. I highly recommend staying here. Every one was very friendly and helpful.

Found a Groupon on the Glasbern Inn and decided to give this place a try for a little respite. I loved it! Just a 2 hour drive from NY. The food was good and the staff was helpful and kind. I stayed in the Pack House. Enjoyed the fireplace and soaking tub! Great getaway for couples and singles alike!

Room is huge, has jacuzzi. Great walks around the inn. Beautiful scenery. Has a pool. The food is good. Make sure to get the farm to table selection.

Place was beautiful and everything we had hoped for a weekend away. Location and rooms were perfect. The dinner was a little overpriced but we liked seeing the chef in the garden before dinner service. We would have liked a more detailed or just better map of the property to walk around and more information about the pub. Overall great experience and we plan on coming back.

My husband and I absolutely love this place! We've visited twice and will definitely return. The breakfast is always fresh and the variety is expansive. They have great walking trails, a heated pool, and the rooms make you feel like you're at home. The staff is super friendly. I never want to leave each time we visit!

The food was fabulous. Filet was cooked a perfect medium rare… my compliments to the chef. A great night for an anniversary dinner. The timing of all the servings was spot on. A wonderful dining experience.

Personal service, spacious suites (we were in 35), serene and private setting, balance between manicured and wild greenery, easy drive to Allentown and Bethlehem, and restaurant on site with delicious: creme brulé french toast, PA Dutch scrapple, Glasbern salad, and chicken/beef dinner entrees. Disappointing sangria and flat pillows, which were so minor compared to the other amenities. Would recommend to friends, and I hope we come back again!

I had the pleasure of staying mid-week for my birthday in August 2015. I didn't have a weekend to spare, so my fiancee found the mid-week special and we spent a single night. I so wish after that first night that I had an entire to week to stay! We had a small glitch when we first got there. When you reserve online you're reserving a certain class of room and not the room the photos are for. After seeing the first room we simply called to the front desk and they came up and moved us to a different room after we explained what we were expecting. No arguments, no problem. Our room was GORGEOUS. The room overlooked the pool and part of the grounds, there was a very large two-person Jacuzzi, a generous sitting area, very large tiled shower and a super-comfy bed with the most luxurious and comfortable sheets I've ever slept in. In fact, we attempted to find them after we left, to no avail, sadly. Our stay came with dinner and it was just perfection. I think sent every course through Instagram, it wasn't just delicious, it was beautiful. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about every dish we had questions about and the front desk was completely with it and didn't miss a beat! I really want to stay again so I can hike the trails there and check out the gardens, not to mention trying everything on the menu and sleeping those sheets again! Thanks so much for a wonderful birthday stay!

A beautiful Inn on a large plot of land. The restaurant is delicious for both breakfast and dinner (an amazing breakfast included for guests! ). It's lovely to just walk around the property and explore. The rooms are full of amenities not found in your standard hotel, like a gas fireplace and a jacuzzi tub in the room. I would definitely stay here again for a special weekend.

We had a beautiful room in the Packhouse. Breakfast was incredibly delicious and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. We had some beautiful walks through the trails and grounds. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely come again!

The room itself was pretty small, but still very nice. The shower was amazing and I didn't want to get out. The hotel is in a very nice, hilly area. It offers an interesting walk around the campus and neighboring farm. The food, while very expensive, is absolutely delicious. The prices are even a little more than the menus they have on their website. The hotel staff was very friendly. It really was a great spot for a romantic getaway.

Great place to spend the night and a complimentary made to order all u can eat breakfast. French toast was amazing. Only reason why only 4 stars was due to the condition of the broken exercise cable machines.

We stayed in an upper Pack House room for two nights, and absolutely loved it. The staff was exceptional and the room truly impressed us. Very spacious and comfortable. The inn itself is located at a perfect distance away from town and busy roads. An incredibly peaceful setting. Breakfast was a lot more than I had anticipated. The cocktails served with dinner were just average, although the price would suggest otherwise. Considering that is the ONLY thing I can think of that didn't impress our socks off, we will most certainly be coming back! Fantastic inn, fantastic relaxing getaway.

Great place so far… The room is nice the bed is comfy and Sheets are soft the fireplace is romantic and the whirl pool is being taken advantage of.

I was recently at the Glasbern for a work conference. It is an amazing location. The grounds, staff, accommodations and food are all incredible. I can recommend the Glasbern without a single reservation.

Aside from the great setting and great food, we had truly great service from the innkeeper Walker Haines. Top-level hospitality talent that we would have expected from the Waldorf Astoria.

Staff was either rude or incompetent mediocre dinner shabby exteriors visible dirt under dresser major stink bug problem.

My first experience here was second to none. We stayed in one of the less expensive rooms (the packhouse) that had a whirlpool and a gas fireplace. Dinner was wonderful, and every attempt was made to make us feel welcome and taken care of. However, we just stayed here again this weekend. We stayed in the Gatehouse, which was a beautiful room with a spiral staircase and jacuzzi above the bedroom and a real fireplace. The heated bathroom floor was not working. Freezing! Dimmer switches falling off the wall. This please needs BASIC maintenance, and is just being ignored. This time, we were not walked to our room, or even shown where it was on the property (except on a piece of paper). The room has cobwebs in the windows, dust throughout the room, and residue on multiple things in our room. Second day, asked for more firewood at the desk. We were told to walk across the street and get it ourself. Our server for dinner was also the bellhop that got us ice the prior day. He knew nothing on the menu. "Do you have Kettle one? " I don't know. "Do you think the chocolate martini is good? " I don't know. "Do you have cheese cake for desert? " I don't know. Silverware bent and dirty. Ordered a steak med rare. Well done! I ordered a martini with a twist, came with olives. My wife ordered hers dirty, it was not so. Server ignored us the whole time. Only asked how everything was one time, which was 30 seconds after we got our meals and clearly hadn't started.

From the planning process to the actual wedding day, everything went perfectly. Carrie S. Is the wedding coordinator, and let me tell you, we couldn’t have asked for a better person to assist us through the process. Carrie is extremely friendly, organized, and professional. We planned our wedding for close to two years, and she was with us every step of the way. She ensured that all of our guests were satisfied, all of our details were followed through, and always answered questions promptly and thoroughly. She even gave us her cell phone and called/texted us on her day off. On the day of the wedding, she made us feel at ease, and ensured that everything went according to plan. Carrie will probably own this place one day, because she’s just that good. It’s rare to find someone in the service industry that is this accommodating. The Glasbern grounds are breathtaking. We chose to have our ceremony here in the beginning of October, on the ledge outside the Packhouse, and it was an amazing experience. Saying our vows on the top of the hill surrounded by our loved ones, the fall foliage, a pond, and a vista of fall forests was something we will never forget. On the day before the wedding, my groomsmen and I traversed the beautiful trails and paths around the property. It was a great moment to spend with my friends, and helped to relax all of us. Our reception was a blast. The food at Glasbern is top notch.

Lush, green surroundings, well maintained, characterful country buildings and pleasant landscaping. Comfortable bed, cosy room, tasty breakfast and splendid restaurant. Professional staff. Some bugs in the room.

Great place fantastic service delicious food.

I heard about how wonderful the place was and decided to send my parents there for their anniversary. I called a week in advance to set up a reservation. I had informed them it was for my parents 34th anniversary and gave them my card number so all expenses are taken care of. I also informed them I did NOT want them to know the amount of the bill. They assured me they will take extra care of my parents. The day of the dinner I called again to make sure everything was in place and they again assured me everything was taken care of. I called my parents the day after to ask about there experience they said the food was excellent but the experience not so much. The waiter/ress was not attentive, they completely forgot the dinner was for my parents anniversary and at the end of the meal they gave my father the check. My father had to explain to the waitress the meal was supposed to be paid for. After some confusion waiter/ress took the bill back and sorted the matter out. I was very upset because I wanted their experience to be a memorable as I heard the Glasbern Inn was highly reviewed yet it ended up being slightly disappointing especially when I reminded them of the occasion TWICE. I called the following day the manager is sending a gift certificate to compensate but alas you cannot turn back time. Moving forward I now have reservations about sending someone there for a special occasion.

Best place for romantic getaway. If you are looking for a romantic and a very private place where it is just you, nature and delicious food then this is a place for you. The food fresh from their gardens is the best part. If I had to pick one best food from the plethora they serve, I would say the egg Benedicts with bacon for breakfast.
