No USB ports anywhere in the room. Found hair in the sink, dirty toilet and power outlet were not secured to the walls.

The worst work place and to rent I got fired because I wouldn't clean room 317 where there were bed bugs lots of them just crawling around. Front desk ppl very rude Randy Manger let the front desk ppl disrespectfulness go to far with employees and guest. Then they cash employees check and keep the money made me work 3 day straight without rest fell down the stairs hurt my back and they had me come back before my doctor even ok'd me too return or I was gonna be terminated.

Amazing truck parking but, useless…
We found this place a few weeks ago because it was close to a load for Monday. Booked a room for the weekend no problem. At 11:30 that night I’m sitting there playing my PS4 and a guy comes into our room. Yes, he opened the door, looked at me, my German Shepherd looked at him, and he slammed the door. I checked with the front desk and they said no one else had a key to our room but obviously they did! Truck drivers make good money and we have our stuff with us so for the next two days we left our dog to guard the room while we were out. Anyway, checked out on Monday and went on our way. A few weeks later we had a load there again so, not the best place but it worked. We go to reserve a room and find out they don’t really want CLC customers and were booked. Two weeks later we come back and they said we could get a room for one night so we agreed. Weeks in your truck and you compromise, plus we needed to do laundry. So in short they let us stay one night like we’re the scum corporate customers or something. And then upon checking if we could stay again they said they won’t take CLC on the weekends. So who has CLC? Usually truck drivers. When do truck drivers need a room? On the weekends to reset from working 70 hours. But this place obviously wants to rent rooms to crackheads for $300 a night instead. So, if you’re looking for a room that is overpriced, pretty dirty, and lots of shady people — this place is for you!

I called and confirmed with the front desk staff they do have bed bugs and pest control is actively treating. Thankful for the honesty from the staff member but definitely stay away.

Worst experience ever! Most of the staff at the front desk and managers were extremely rude, insensitive, racist, obnoxious, with no social skills whatsoever, and couldn't care less about the peace of mind and well being of their guests. They even tried to kick me and my partner out of the hotel at the last minute due to "multiple complaints" (who knows, one argument with my partner that went loud and short like every couple in this world, and the fact that I complain before with their corporation due the gross attitude of one of their front desk staff and, of course, they got mad. ), the thing is that they refused to give me any specific information about such complaints (how many, what was the problem, etc. ), nothing. With the most arrogant, horrible and rude tone, I heard at 7 something am, just when I was calling to check about some details about the check-out time and two more nights that I reserved online, they told to us to leave! Just like that. On top of everything, I'm diagnosed with major mental health problems (PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, Morbid Insomnia and recurring Panic attacks), I let them know right away, and they couldn't care less about the disaster that they were triggering in my mental state by kicking me out with such an incredible rudeness.

They got renovated rooms they have cough in the morning is clean and it’s near a movie theater restaurants Dollar General all these Yacco Dunkin’ Donuts.

Red Roof Inn on Catasaqua Rd, Allentown — I HIGHLY recommend it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, very hard workers, who keep the rooms spotless. Always welcoming! I have been going there for years, as I worked 14 hr nightshifts, at the local hospital. They are the BEST! AND they are pet/dog friendly!

We stay at RRI 99% of the time. Donna was extremely helpful and understanding (thanks Donna). We we're in town for a family funeral (5 nights). Originally paid in advance for 4 nights. When we arrived, I added and prepaid for a 5th night. On the 4th day, I was out of room but my husband and 2 dogs were still there. Around 11 AM, there was pounding on the door and the phone was ringing off the hook which woke my husband up (he was sick & sleeping) and also got the dogs in a barking frenzy. The pounding continued until my husband yelled that we already paid for an extra night! I think the office should double check their records prior to doing drastic measures. I mentioned to Donna about the developments of the previous day upon checking out the next morning. She graciously offered to deduct $20 from my bill. I said fine but she didn't have to do that as I just wanted them to be aware that records should be double checked prior to doing what they did. She then comped the entire night! She was off that day and it should never had happened. Again, unnecessary, but greatly appreciated. This is why I stay at RRI! There are still nice people in this world.

This has to be a first for me… just to let all of you know this hotel has bed bugs and I have the pictures to prove it. I was in room 230 first, bedbugs I couldn't believe it… I took pictures and caught two and went to the front desk with this issue… she tried to convince me that they were only in one room… if anybody knows anything about bedbugs… they infest everything. Well this lady wanted my license so she could move me to another room… the bedbugs that I caught she wanted them so she could dispose of them. I told her no… well on my way to get my ID with bugs in tow… I said to a quest that they might want to check their room for bedbugs… well their security officer there went and told the front desk lady I was telling other guests about the bugs… so when I got back to the office to give her my ID she threatened me with slander… big mistake… well she might want to look up the definition of slander… this means making false accusations the will cause harm to person or place… well considering I have picture and bugs in a cup… that is not slander, that's called the truth… so then they moved me to room 205, guess what bedbugs their too… I don't know if I have had a good life but I have never never never had bedbugs.

I've been here multiple times with little issue, so this visit in particular is by no means typical of my usual experience at this location. A few of the outlets didn't seem to work in the room, but there's a surplus of outlets compared to necessity of same, so it wasn't a huge deal, the bathroom door was ridiculously difficult to open once shut, and the behind-the-bathroom door towel hanger fixture had come undone from the door itself. Aside from that, it's within walking distance of no less than six restaurants of varying price range and gourmet stylings, a Dollar General, and a movie theater, and it is just down the road from a convenience store/gas station location. It's centralized to locations of necessity and, aside from these technically minor issues, is usually a good place to rest ones head.

New room. The room was so clean. When we walked in there was a pleasant smell. Nothing over baring. The front desk was helpful. Plus they're located 4miles away from Dorney Park.

Location is nice… Only saw the location as I was dropping friends who were from it of town. Lots of food places around.

Room was very clean, bed comfy. No blow dryer in room, no pool. Coffee available in office, no food. Hard wood floors, no nasty carpet to walk on. Plenty of places close by to eat at. Would recommend.

Service desk was polite checking in and out. Water pressure was good and warm water. Walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. Easy in and out. Would visit again.

Exactly what you'd expect — clean room, lots of outlets to plug your electronics into, water pressure in the shower is okay (but I prefer showers that could strip paint off a wall). A little light on the extras, only shampoo and a bar of soap, but I always pack my own toiletries anyway. The bed is a little stiff and unfortunately, the pillows are the kind that are pillows, but also somehow bricks. Got a pretty awful kink in my neck. A decent night's stay.

Not bad At All. Any Issue Or problem I Have or Had Is Tended To Promptly. In the front desk has very professional and nice people working there.

A decent enough stay. The location was rather convenient in terms of what was nearby. The room itself wasn't too bad either, especially considering that we had just came from another Red Roof with a not so stellar room. Perhaps we might have had a different opinion if we stayed more than one night but it was a good enough place for a cheap enough price for how long we did stay.

Nice, clean hotel. Lots of places to eat nearby. No complaints about anything. An enjoyable stay.

Initially I was very pleased with the condition and decor of the room, but one night has proved my impression incorrect. Although the bed itself is comfortable, the room is not conducive to sleep. The microwave clock is so bright it illuminated our entire room at night, but we were unable to unplug it and the fridge itself would randomly hum to life very loudly. The walls are incredibly thin and we easily heard our neighbor's conversation in the evening and morning. I also could hear the upstairs guests on the walkways due to their wheely suitcases. Whenever the bathroom light is turned on, the fan will also turn on and sounds like a jet engine. As well as actual jet noise due to it's proximity to the airport. As to it's maintenance, there are a couple damaged spots on the walls, splotches of unknown substances on the walls, and an entire kick plate in the bathroom pulling away to expose crumbling plaster and possibly rusty nails. Dirty bits or maybe mold around the handle of the tub and along the caulking and rust on the sprinkler head. The toilet runs and will refill. Our showerhead tended to leak for awhile after our showers, but the water pressure and temperature were good. Also, the beds are pretty squeaky and my companion does not like the stretchy blankets. Not the best place I've ever stayed in by far, but not worthy of a Dan Bell episode.

Grungy, nothing like the picture. Elevator was gross, someone had urinated in it on the wall down to a puddle on the floor! Nothing but banging, fighting and screaming all night till 2am! Really shady people roaming around walkways! NEVER will we atay here again!

I'll try to be brief and to the point. The only issue we had with this place was the other guests not cleaning up after their dogs outside. We had to stay here for a couple of weeks and the staff was very understanding. We were in room 107. The staff was very friendly to us. The room was clean. No bugs. No issues with the room. We did not have a bad experience at all. We would stay here again and we will if asked recommend others to stay here.

Have a family member staying here and it is satisfactory. It's a bit run down but the area is okay and I didn't see anything in particular to complain about. It's fine.

Rooms are extremely small with very little accommodations. Bed was small and not comfortable at all. For the price there are better choices in the area that are not that far away. I can't find a reason that I would ever stay here over some better options unless the price was significantly less than other places. Even then I would still probably pay more just to stay at a nicer place.

Staff was great and accommodating. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Great place to go and rest your head for a nice. Room was pretty spacious, and the price is reasonanble. I would recommend.

The Red Roof Inn is located rather conveniently off of 22, between the Denny's and a shopping center. The room was quaint, having the typical two beds that one might expect from a roadside motel. I didn't inquire about what services were on offer, but they had a television with HDMI hookups and a decent number of channels, a mini safe, a mini fridge, and a microwave (that had two front facing outlets on it, surprisingly). Between the beds, they had an outlet with usb ports on it. The pricing was also decent; cheaper than expected.

Excellent stay as usual. Clean, comfortable rooms and very friendly people. Dog friendly and very close to an Aldi if you need any groceries. Highly recommended!

Hello, Yesterday 11-24-2017 at 2:00 pm my mother and I went to the Red Roof Inn in Allentown Pa near the airport to find out the price and accommodations as we would be there for about a month due to us buying a house. We walked in and saw an older lady at the desk who never smiled. She looked up and said "what do you need". I said we are looking for a place for about a month and want to see the rooms. She said "I will need a credit card and drivers licence" Why do we need a drivers licence and cc to see a room? I went to pull it out a little confused at 1st. She then said "only one of you two can go look at the room, the other will have to stay here" WHAT? I asked why this was and she said "so many people come here to look at the rooms and use the bathroom and damage the room" REALLY? I told her we do not want to be here if this is the way you treat guests. We left. Sorry you lost my business.

Awful. Absolutely awful. Reeks like cigarettes. Beds are wicked uncomfortable. Also quiet noisy. There is a truck station across. If you don't have earplugs forget about sleeping. They'll keep you up whole night. I don't understand how this could be pricier than Knights Inn. It's pretty much same. Never ever.

They don't tell you a fridge and microwave only come with upgraded rooms. Seems those items should be standard. The sticker on the door says "100% smoke free! " Some previous guest obviously didn't see that sign because the room smelled of stale smoke. The staff was nice at least and people went noisy. I guess all in all, you get what you pay for.

Small rooms for 2 beds but very new and very nicely done! Hard wood floors are a nice touch that I wish I saw more hotels do!

For the price paid it was pretty good. The room had recently been renovated sometime in the past few years, and it was clean. There was some minor cosmetic issues with the room but nothing serious. The check in process was also quick and smooth.

Room was nice and clean, the cleaning crew was friendly and helpful. Good place if you have pets. Plenty of food choices around (can get pricey though). Only bad things I experienced there was other guests letting their dogs hand outside the door on the sidewalk path. Not everyone loves dogs. Some may be allergic to them or don’t want the fur on them to take back to their rooms if they don’t own a dog, doesn’t matter how friendly they are, and cleaning up after your pet can assure that the grounds stay nice! The air conditioning unit controls was a little off, so the knobs were loose and I had to figure out how to get it to set on what I needed. Also I was told certain things was free and told how much my charge would be for my stay only to discover that on my card statement, I was being charged about thirty bucks extra, so I ended up paying by a different means. So definitely keep an eye on your charges!

Clean, comfortable, quiet. Very inexpensive. Polite and friendly staff. The room looks brand new on the inside. Very happy, will definitely be coming back. Lots of food choices in the area as well.

This place has a picture that makes it look really nice, but it's just a standard budget motel. They do allow dogs, though, and they have lots of grass and doggie waste bags and poop stations all over the property, so I would stay here again.

Reasonable rates. Movie theater 2 shopping centers very close. Easy to find just off East West Rt. 22. Many construction and truckers visit. Decent prices motel 2 FLOORS. Front noisier than back. Plenty parlong. Well maintained.

Pretty awful place. Lost on a Priceline deal. There were three burnt dirty socks in the heat vent… the heat didn't work… the chair was filthy… grime on walls… the mirror had finger prints and there was hair in the sink. To top it off there was a dog barking in the other room. Ended up leaving after about an hour and got a room at the Holiday Inn express. I won't be returning.

This Red Roof location is run down and is in badly need of renovation. The paint on the railings is peeling on the exterior surrounding the building. They try to make the rooms look up graded by putting in a fake wooden floor. The bedspread had a hole in it. The shower had mold on the ceiling. And the bath towels were so small you need to to dry yourself. They stress no smoking in the rooms and they make you sign a waiver that you'll be charged $200 if smoking in the room. Upon entering the room it smelled so badly of smoke. Although roof the room is only $100 I would much rather have spent 25 to $35 more at a Marriott for a better cleaner more up-to-date experience.

My husband and I frequently stay here during our travels. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. They need a washer/dryer for guest and refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. Very honest staff… I left my black diamond necklace there and it was found and returned.

The red roof inn around allentown airport has clean rooms and a great staff! The only reason I gave them a 4 star is because the building has not been updated since the 90s and the elevator has some issues.

Our room was large and clean, and check in/out was very easy. The location was close to a grocery store and several restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

If you smoke it seems look a great place to spend the night. A lot close by and very easy to step out of your room. If you like to buy drugs, it's even better. Makes stepping out to have a cigarette a little nerve racking. 2nd foot seems very sketchy. A lot of unsavory looking people and cars parking briefly only to meet these people. My advice, book a room if you don't smoke. Lock your car, and sleep with one eye open.

Kinda sorta average Stayed here for a night with my 60 pound dog. Didn't need anything fancy as this was a one-night stop on a long road trip. Good: * clean room * comfortable bed * dog relief areas were surprisingly well maintained and clean Bad: * leaky bathroom fixtures, shower pressure not strong enough * slow check in process * shady practices for forcing a deposit on the room safe even if you don't want to use it — the only way to get your deposit back is to tell them that you didn't use the safe. Wait, what? why?

It's ok, clean rooms and affordable. However, I do not like none of the people who works at the front desk, the males in particular. Very odd and weird vibe. They should focus more on their job rather than the people who walks in to rent rooms. They need to do their jobs instead of gawking at attractive women and being in their face.

Overall a good room. Convenient location. Helpful staff. My only complaints: — They need to do a better job on the snow and ice removal — getting to and from the car was a bit hazardous. — Carpets under the bed need vaccuming — The bed frame was open (these things only matter when you travel with long hair cats). But, I would stay there again.

We always travel with our toy poodle Bella, and most pet friendly hotels stick you in dingy rooms. When we opened the door to our room we said WOW! Beautiful, clean fresh and very spacious. We had a king size room with a large work desk refrigerator and microwave and flatscreen TV. The Bed and pillows comfy. The staff was friendly. There was security 24/7 which gave us a safe feeling. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, safe, wonderfully remodeled, exceptional staff. I had a superior king room and it was perfect for work on laptop. Wide desk, laminate wood floors. No noises heard from other rooms. Wonderful neighborhood of middle class homes, stores and shops. There were some intermittent issues with Wi-Fi coverage, apparently a common theme among many Red Roofs because of the poor internet vendor. (Note: 5 stars rated against other discount chains).

I stayed here for four nights. On the morning I was leaving when it was near checkout time, I was in the shower. All of a sudden, my dogs started barking. Someone was pounding on the door. I thought I'd just ignore it — housekeeping I thought. But the banging continued, more than 30 times. So I went, naked, to the door. It was the maintenance guy trying to find out if I was staying over. Tell me. Is there ever a point when he should've stopped pounding and driving the dogs nuts? These people need to learn a bit of restraint, and how to do more conscientious service to guests. This maintenance guy acts like I owe him something. I will never stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay there, but I wish I would have gotten a handicapped room. Next time if I get to go there I will, The only thing is they shut your wi fi off like 7 am the day you are going to check out and check out is 12pm.

Clean and deceent hotel. They advertise the free Wi-Fi but there wasnt any Wi-Fi when my boyfriend tried to connect to it on his cellphone. The inn has a variety of restaurants nearby (walking distance) including friendlys, denny's an italian restaurant, and red robbin, overall it was a pleasant stay.

The rooms are fairly clean. Standard Red Roof Inn. However, the Wi-Fi isn't reliable. I kept getting disconnected and had to log back in. It's just as bad as the wandering Wi-Fi at most locations, not to mention the pilot/flying j travel centers.

Well if you are spanish or look spanish don't let the manager help you. I came here to make a reservation the lady told me that they only had a specific room available, well that's what I was looking for. Anyway while waiting the manager come to help me and said, we don't have rooms available, I ask him when can I come back to see if there is any available and his response was I don't know.
