No Shampoo! Towels very skimpy. No extra pillow. No coffee in the room. The only good thing was I was able to turn off the AC so I could sleep without all the loud noise from it. Had to stay over night in Medford because car was being worked on and this Motel 6 was only 2 blocks away from the car service.

Good price, much cheaper than the Grants Pass location. Cleanliness was average/decent. Even the smoking room didn't smell much of smoke. Could use an additional staff member in the lobby, it was a bit busy around noon when I checked out and was getting my receipt. Overall better than most motel 6 that I've stayed in the state.

I would like to comment on a particular employee of yours there at your Medford OR North location. Her name is Jessica. I am from out of state and have traveled to quite a few places. Her professionalism and anticipation of client customer needs was absolutely outstanding. She easily exceeds other 5 star hotel staff in other high profile areas without any doubt. Its rare that I ask for an individuals name and certainly never write any online review but she was so professional, courteous, helpful, and personable that I felt compelled to let you know you have an outstanding individual there at your location. You are very lucky to have her there. Respectfully, Austin Texas military vet.

Older motel that was bought out by Motel 6 price medium for us lower cost stay. A little more out side maintain. Good for an evening night stay. Bed was not comfortable. Maybe sleeping the car would have been better.

It was an interesting dichotomy of conditions. It seemed like the rooms were freshly painted and thankfully there was no crappy artwork on the walls which I found pleasant. I liked the floors which were not carpeted, things seem cleaner when there is no nasty carpet. It was clean but, sadly, still smelled like cigarettes. I mean it was bad. Then there are signs all over that say no smoking sitting 10 feet of the rooms but my next door neighbor smoked all the time right outside his door while in his wheelchair. One time the staff was there working on his ac unit with him sitting right there smoking right in front of them. The only other irritating thing was there was no shampoo or even an option to pay a little for even a small bottle. I never take shampoo with me so this was a surprise. The staff was super nice to me as I drove quite a ways to surprise my daughter at we special Olympics softball game and brought my dog only to find out they wouldn’t allow dogs into the stadium. The manager was kind enough to keep my dog in his kennel for me behind the desk in his office until the game was over. That was so helpful and kind. I really really appreciated it. So overall if they could just get rid of that cigarette smell it would be great.

It would be helpful if the ADA rooms were on the end. Very inconvenient. Add a rubber bottom runner from door to bath room. May a chair a disabled person could sit in. Otherwise all has been good thus far. Although the Bed sheets are like a 360 grit sand paper. Very friendly daytime staff. And VERY LOUD! Don't get a room near the pool.

The first night we stayed was nice. Sheets and beds were clean in the smoking room we requested. No reused linens or towels or heavy nicotine smell. When I first tried to take a shower, I discovered that the cold was hot and hot was cold. That was no big deal, now I knew it worked. The house keepers were nice and provided us new towels when we needed. The ac and heat worked well when we needed it to. Other people who were staying at the hotel were being very disruptive. Banging stuff around past midnight, yelling, etc. We were forced to call the manager and he asked them to turn their music down when we could hear it through the wall. He asked them to and I appreciated him speaking with them. However, after he was gone they continued to be disruptive. I would have called the manager back, but I didn't want anything else to happen. They need some sound proofing and security. I could easily hear people talking through the door. I just wanted a good night sleep, not to feel threatened.

This is a well-thought-out Motel 6. We needed a motel that accepts dogs without all sort of constraints. The hotel provides a grassy pet area and bags for dog droppings and a wastebasket. Almost all guests clean up after their pets, partly I would guess because of a subconscious awareness that the hotel welcomes and provides for pets. The rooms have the essentials for a solid night's comfort, nothing fancy, but everything is clean and fresh. We stayed here Monday and then Wednesday. By way of contrast, on Tuesday we were in Motel 6 Central Portland, and it was barely acceptable. No provisions for pet areas, and lots of droppings guests didn't bother to clean up. Our blanket and spread had stains and a couple of cigarette burns. The staff were friendly and helpful, but we didn't feel relaxed about a room that seemed neglected and indifferently maintained. I would happily recommend Motel 6s like the one in Medford North (Oregon) but not Motel6s across the board. I would caution friends to beware of ones like that Portland Central in Oregon. One should get all the information one can before committing to a room. Motel 6 would do well to use the motel in north Medford as a basic standard for all its motels. I think the bottom line would reflect a consistent standard, such at McDonalds, where you know basic standards are maintained wherever you stop.

It was clean and the service was great… the bedspread had a burn hole on it and ink stains but all and all it was a nice stay for the price and the swimming. There were just a bar of soap no shampoo.

The service was nice. Front desk was friendly and helped out. Our room was by far the grossest room I have ever stayed in. There was hairs all over my bed and what appeared to be chewing tobacco grains. There are cigarette burns in the comforter in a non smoking room. The floor did not look like it has been swept in a couple of stays. I also found it odd that all we got for toiletries was a bar of soap, no shampoo or conditioner. I was very disappointed, considering I have stayed at a motel 6 in Idaho and it was a better experience. I completely understand that 60 dollars is a good rate for any place to stay but I would have been better off staying at a homeless shelter. Obliviously their cleaning staff needs some new leadership. I will not be staying at a motel 6 ever again. Sorry but this was pretty disgusting.

Stayed one night. Receiving manager was a trainee who was pleasant but there was a drunk hanging in the reception area who was unpleasant and seemed dangerous. King bed room we booked online was not available except for a smoking room which was disgustingly rank smelling. We took another 2 Queen room that was non-smoking. Sadly, our next door neighbor was smoking weed in a nonsmoking room and the smell was leaking through the electrical outlets on the wall between our room and neighbors. Stoned neighbors started playing loud music around 11 pm. We called night manager who called them and luckily the loud music stopped. Pool was unusable and under construction. The next morning we told our story to a supervising manager was present who gave us a gift certificate for 1 night at any Motel 6. We do not recommend this location until they clean up the whole operation. Lots of weird folks hanging around the parking lots.

Cheap, great deals for long stays. The rooms really are decent. The comforter seems to be cleaned but has stains, 2 different rooms now. Some people use these motels for illicit doings but if you just need a decently priced place to stay I recommend it. 4 star just because I've stayed at better but they are almost there.

Best motel 6 ever. Location felt much safer even though it was industrial area. Bathtub and and great shower pressure. This place is on top of it. Called me to make sure room was satisfying. Every 6 months I will stay here from now on. Please continue whatever your doing.

Manager is an amazing individual, quick to help with any issues. She strives to have great service. Front desk individual was pleasant, very helpful. Only reason 4 star is due to issues in room which was resolved but not until manager arrived. Will stay again!

This place is horrible! It is 1:00 in the morning and there has been continuous traffic parking in handicap spaces in front of our window with no placard. Called the front desk to complain and see if we can get the issue fixed and the lady had the biggest attitude! No consideration for a paying customer! Her customer service is a minus zero! This place sucks! Do not rent here unless you are a tweaker, well then its perfect for you! I wish I could post a picture!

Room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable. Thank you! I appreciate the flooring that is not carpeted. It's a nice change since my stay 20 years ago.

I really enjoyed staying at your motel, I think the rooms were nicely cleaned and I loved the floors. The staff Shara was very friendly and helpful. I love when hotels have wonderful staff really makes for a good business. Thank you will definitely stay again. I stayed in your motel years ago before the upgrade and I'm still pleased. Landscaping still needs work. That's okay. It's winter. Rooms clean, well light, near, everything in good working condition. Price is reasonable. Staff nice, friendly, helpful and always smiling. I stay here every time I'm passing through.

Service was good, the lady who checked me in was very nice and professional. Non-smoking rooms still smell like smoke. It would be nice to at least put a coffee pot in rooms like other motels. You could hear the springs in rhe bed when you moved. Other guest were unaware of the rudeness they cause when outside was yelling, running back in forth, didn't sleep well at all. I have stayed before and probably will again, for the money, plus military discount it really want that bad.

The staff was very pleasant and friendly to work with. The rooms were the cleanest rooms that I have ever been in out of any Motel 6 that we have stayed in throughout our travels. Everything look like it was brand-new inside the rooms. The walls were very white there were no marks on them. The bedding was very clean and the whole room smelled fresh. The heater work very well. I have been in many motels where the heaters barely work and with cold weather that one preformed wonderful. The rooms were very quiet. I will absolutely stay there at Motel 6 north every time we go through Medford.

Comfortable place for a weekend in Southern Oregon. It is halfway between Crater Lake and Oregon Caves. Really friendly staff, clean rooms and free coffee. Very reasonable prices.

The room was fine, clean and pleasant. Location was perfect for our needs. One thing we didn’t like was the clipboard guy walking around and looking for a reason to be nasty to the guests. He should remember those guests are the reason he has a job. Please remind him to speak politely to his guests AND employees. There is no need to bark at people when reminding them of the rules. He was a very unpleasant person. The other thing is the worst offering of coffee I have ever had. Tepid, weak, tasteless, flat and tasted awful. Grow up Motel 6 we are a more coffee oriented society than you think!

They charge for shampoo and Internet. The towels had hairs attached to them. The bedroom felt dirty. I would never stay there again.

This is better than many 6's I've been to. This room is so clean and the beds are really comfortable but noisy. The TV is small but adequate. The shower is wonderfully powerful. Easy access to the freeway and airport. Plenty of shopping and eats nearby.

Great place to stay for the price, very up to date room and the staff is pretty nice. I've had more problems at the South location than the North one. I would recommend it to a friend, and would love to stay again in the future.

We rented two rooms 159 and 146. Rm 159 was a great room. However 146 smelled like wet dirty dog and the was not swept. This is the first time we have had issue with any room when staying at this facility.

The reservation and check in service was good. Although the room was supplied adequately with towels and soap, and appeared tidy, the previous guest's sweat pants were behind the bathroom door and the trash was not emptied, by the sink. It left me with a very uncomfortable feeling of wondering if my sheets were truly fresh, or if the tub and toilet were cleaned. Housekeeping should have no excuse for not checking a room before a new guest is checked into it.

Good place to stay for quick stay over. Not real quiet, but felt safe. Most noise was from a barking dog there. Seemed clean enough. Convenient location, lots of restrants near by.

The night check in woman was really friendly and honest. Room was clean and awesomely remodeled. The price was amazing. Highly recommend.

This is one of the nicest properties I've stayed at. The staff were lovely, the room was very clean, the grounds were very clean and well-maintained. Bravo! My only issue was with other past dog owners. What a bunch of lazy brats, not cleaning up after their dogs. The motel even provides plastic baggies and lined garbage bins. I'm ashamed of them. They give all of us dog owners a bad name. The grassy areas were very clean, and I suspect it's the motel staff doing the clean-up, which is unfair. Thank you for a great stay.

Room was clean and recently updated. Very happy with the room and staff (especially Holly who seemed to run the place). The new wood flooring is a nice touch — none of the problems that come with carpet. TV remote didn't work, everything else was fine. Towels are thin but get you dry so can't complain.

The room is spacious and clean. It had a surprise in that we found out we had HBO just in time for the premiere of the second episode of Game of Thrones. You do not get Wi-Fi unless you pay an additional $5. Also, you need to ask for shampoo and extra soap at the desk. It is not in the room. You don't get breakfast. I appreciated that the motel is located near the airport and also near the mall with stores and restaurants to easily detour to. The pool is odd in that it is shallow on both ends and deep in the middle. We saw broken glass (tiny shards) on the concrete near the pool so take care. People had open bottles in the pool area and were having a party in there apparently. As we were checking out the next day, an employee was talking to another customer and was speaking about how there was quite a commotion there on Friday night with some groups of people reveling into the night. We did not have that much of a problem, but if we had a room facing the pool area, we would have been disturbed the night we stayed.

This is a budget hotel where the guests are precisely what you would expect for the price. We had two seperate animals wander into our rooms while we were loading our bags in and out. One pet owner was nice about it, the other was not. The rooms were functional, if sparse.

Motel 6 is certainly a good budget option. Rooms are clean and enjoyable, neither meager nor opulent. Staff is agreeable, and generally I have little issue with what services are present. It is what is lacking which I have trouble justifying. Free Wi-Fi seems to me a basic amenity, and while yes, it's only 3-5 dollars to purchase it, the whole process feels archaic. Even in San Francisco, the tech capital of the world, I had to buy Wi-Fi which I could only use on one device at once. I understand that the low prices are facilitated by this lack of service, but it feels inflationary and backwards. Had I gone to the hotel with that knowledge, I'd probably be alright with it, but as it stands it felt like a tacked on charge. Beyond that, I had few to no problems.

One of the nicest Motel 6's that I have stayed at. Rooms were recently remodeled and are clean. Close to the airport. It is a Motel 6 so ya you have to pay for Wi-Fi and the other people staying at the hotel can be questionable and loud. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by my visit here.

Decent place to crash before catching a flight. Pretty standard rooms. Spacious. Wifi that needs some prepaid card. Not cool.

Wifi was not free. Rooms had limited amenities, including no ironing boards or irons, hairdryers or coffee makers. Room was nicely furnished, beds were comfortable, bathroom area was nicer than expected. Good but expensive for a quick overnight stay.

Checked in around 1100 pm after driving up from San Diego. We were on the second floor with no elevator and my boyfriend has a broken ankle and not able to bear weight so he had to hop up the stairs on one leg, only after having to park on the other side of the building. Once we get to our " non smoking " room which has obviously been smoked in since I can clearly smell it through sinus congestion from my allergies and the comforter had a cigarette burn in it. Lay down to turn on the TV however, the remote didn't work called the front desk who stated to bring the remote down and she'll give us a new one. When I bring the remote down they didn't have any left but, she did at least try to change the batteries but didn't have a screw driver, I said it was fine we just manually change the channels. So she apologized and kept the remote and said she would make a note that the room doesn't have a remote. I also mentioned that the room smells like cigarettes and she apologized as I was walking out the door. At least room appears to be clean. Would have normally asked for my money back and went somewhere else but, it was late and we were tired.

Thanks to the toilet paper being thin, I saved a ton of money by being able to cancel that escort service I called as I got enough action last night. Rooms were very clean, great open floor, great water pressure for the shower. There were a couple of very minor maintenance issues but considering the budget style motel this is, this place is great. So a full 5 stars for what they give vs what they charge.

I stayed in the Medford OR area over by the airport. The front desk woman was very kind and professional. The rooms were very clean. It would of been more enjoyable if they included more TV channels. But over all great!

Room was big enough but mad about them not being able to accommodate my daughter and self by not letting or helping us by staying past check out time because I'm from out of town and have to wait for a train that doesn't come till 4pm. Now having to sit and wait in the cold for 4 hours is very upsetting. It's not like I was going to stay forever just a couple hours would ha e been great!

I would of gave 5 stars but the room smelled like smoke. I would have got another room except that my family was in the adjacent room and there were no other adjacent rooms available. But the rooms were great. Oh the bed was a bit soft and creaking.

The room was very nice and clean. Definitely a good price. Wi-Fi was an extra fee, bet it's also pretty cheap. Look forward to staying here again.

Great place to stay. We stayed here with our two young granddaughters and they loved it — especially the wonderful swimming pool. The motel is well located. Front office staff was great. Our room was great in every respect. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever in Medford. I don't have a negative thing to say about this motel.

Very polite and personable check-in guy who treated everyone so well even though the lobby was packed with people checking in. I loved his patience and kindness. Even with that busy check-in, our teens were in the pool within the hour! Clean rooms. Nice stay! Thank you.

Don't stay there it an awful place to stay. The toilet didn't work. The rooms were supposed to be non smoking yet they reeked of smoke and filth. People were smoking right outside the rooms. The upstairs guests were so loud we thought they were going to fall through the ceiling. We got NO sleep. The pillows were lumpy. The tacks were poking through due to the ripped carpet which hurt like crap on bare feet. I hated this flea bag hotel and would never recommend it to anyone nor would I ever stay there again.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Motel 6. Upon entry, there was a strong and unpleasant odor; I found hair on the sheets and in the shower; it sounded like someone was vacuuming on the upper level, even though it was well past 10 pm; there were more than a few sketchy people wandering around outside and I did not feel safe; and I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure that someone tried to break in during the middle of the night, because someone slammed into the door and pushed down the handle, as I said, there were sketchy people around, so it's possible that someone was just drunk and ran into the door, but I'm not convinced.

Amazing! Super assistance from Shawna at the desk. My son was in Oregon and I am 1200 miles away. After leaving the hospital he desperately needed a place to stay. He had no money and no credit cards. Shawna found him a downstairs room because he couldn't climb stairs. She is also very tech savvy and I am not, so she helped me go through sending pictures from my phone of my credit card and driverslicense. She also assisted by sending the contract by email, so I could sign and enlarge it and send it back to them via Motel 6. Even though her shift ended she continued helping us until it was all worked out and my son could have bed rest as the doctor ordered. I am so grateful for her kindness, and really appreciate Motel 6 for employing people like her. Her actions were a godsend, and she is a Goddess in my mind.

My room was very clean, no overpowering odors, quiet, and comfortable. I stay at Motel 6 because they do not charge for pets. This location has a field behind that has a sidewalk along it (used to be a street) easy to walk the dog. This is one of the best managed Motel 6. Mary has been manager for a long time. She keeps the grounds up with new flowers for the season and if you have a problem she wants to hear about it. Her staff is cheerful and helpful, and the rooms are very clean. I recommend this Motel 6 and I have stayed here for years. I do not like the Motel 6 South in Medford. Do not get confused, this is Motel 6-Medford North.

Pretty good for Motel 6! Front desk folks were bright and cheerful, room was clean, overnight was fairly quiet, everything worked reasonably well. A good experience for a reasonable price. Disinfectant smell was obvious upon entry, but not bothersome after that. If you just want to sleep and don't need frills, it was good when I stayed there.
