Absolutely horrible management. I would rather sleep in my car than ever stay here. We were mislead that this hotel had a working pool! When we arrive, we got checked in. And found out that there was no working pool. We traveled with two little ones who were excited for the pool, the only reason we even booked a hotel with a pool in the first place. After being told there was no working pool we decided to check out immediately! The manager said we needed to contact booking, and we did exactly as he said. And we chose to pay the $114 cancelation fee. But instead we were charged for 3 nights. Booking said they have no way to refund us as this is completely up to the hotel manager. So we contacted him again, where he told us we can’t read, and that we didn’t do our part in trying to cancel our room. We didn’t even stay at the hotel for more than 20 minutes total. Once we arrived home we spoke to booking again, to let them know the manager said it was them making the decision. Which we found out was a complete lie, he got loud, rude and disrespectful to us. We were not looking to argue and asked if there was another number we could call, and he said there was no body higher up than he was. He was the “king” he stated and also said he owns the Hampton’s. I found the customer service number on the actually website thankfully. And was able to speak to someone, and since I have exchanged emails. Up until the point they said the hotel manager was asked to refund all charges and you will hear back from him within 3-5 business days. That was weeks ago! We do not have our refund. And we are incredibly disgusted by this guys attitude. We would have been fine with the cancelation fee and moved on. Do not stay here if you want to be treated well. Stay at the Holiday Inn down the road for a great stay.
