Fair value for the money. The hotel itself is a bit dated but it is clean. I wouldn't say it's in desperate need of repair but there are definitely broken things here or there such as a missing chunk of concrete in the bottom of the hot tub, worn light switches, that kind of stuff. The breakfast buffet was a very good value for my family. Views from the pool are amazing.

The signs are pretty unclear I got lost frequently. The rooms are nice enough although after the maid cleaned my room I lost a few items thankfully unimportant. The worst thing is the ants! We left a one pizza in our room on the table and it was covered in ants when we came back and there were even ants in the coffee machine. Other than that it's a nice hotel with comfortable beds and helpful staff.

I was initially scheduled to stay at the Holiday Inn Express next door but there was a problem with my credit card. Holiday Inn wouldn't accept cash as a deposit so I ended up at the Red Lion Hotel. The Red Lion Hotel moved right through the deposit without any difficulties. Requiring no deposit, since they also could not accept a cash deposit and my credit card was still in shock from the long day. What a lifesaver. The room was very clean and comfortable with the added convenience of a restaurant and lounge in the hotel itself. It was a uncomfortable morning though. I went down to pay with cash right away at 6 a. M. And I think the desk lady also checked me out of the hotel. They must have changed desk personnel because as I called for breakfast they said no one was in that room. I assured them I really was. The new desk help, (her name started with Ch) was in a very sour mood and locked me out of my room. I explained to her that I was still in it which didn't seem to help her mood at all. Still small potatoes, right. Aside from a rough morning my stay at the Red Lion Hotel was very pleasant. In the big picture, the hotel more than made it up by not requiring a deposit. 4.5 Stars. Great job Red Lion Inn Pendleton Oregon.

The staff could have been a bit more educated on policy when it comes to bicycles in the rooms. They ended up having to call the GM to see. It all ended up well. The air conditioning wasn't too cold and after a long day of cycling, wasn't the best feeling. The rooms were good although there was trash and an old beer bottle left in the room. That was a first for me. The beds were very comfortable and I slept like a baby. I didn't hear any noise from upstairs which was surprising. I would stay here again.

I made a reservation for a disabled friend online their website blotched up and gave him two rooms for the same time. When I only reserved one room. Right away we called the hotel to correct it we were told it was corrected and they reserved him another room now he's being charged for three rooms and we are having trouble with red lion for him to be reimbursed the money from the website purchase. This hotel staff and upper management have been completely reasonable and it has been very difficult to get ahold of the manager. Spoke with corporate they told me to contact the hotel directly and I can be reimbursed however nothing as of now.

If you require any accessible features Red Lion is not up to the task. They were not even willing to try and problem solve. The desk clerk was a jerk. The room's AC was broken. The light bulb was out in the bathroom. Overall a terrible experience. I'll be taking my business down the road to the Hamton Inn where the management went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant affordable and accessible!

Location was good. Didnt like the huge black bug I found in the room or the little little red bugs. Service was also pretty good.

Buyer Beware with this "hotel"! Travelling across country as we have been while moving, we experienced a lot of hotels. The Pendleton Red Lion was one of the worst. Cleaning supplies had been left in our room, paint and walls were cracked throughout, the recliner in our room was badly stained with oil spots, the shower curtain and tub were filthy with soap scum, heater wouldn't shut off so we had to keep the back door open, the restaurant and lounge both close early at 9pm, no room service and no continental breakfast offered. In 2000 miles, it was the first hotel we demanded a refund from. On a good note, the staff were professional and friendly and quickly refunded the room.

Overall it needs a good "goin' over" deep cleaning… the toilet was super small and close to the floor, perhaps like a child size in an elementary school… linens were clean, desk clerk very nice, I'd probably find another place next time.

My daughter and I stayed for two night. The views are amazing, and the location is convenient. The room was not very clean; there was an old dirty towel on the toilet seat and hairs in the bathroom. The beds had no comforters on them, just two sheets with a blanket between, but the mattress was cozy. The service was not that great. We had an upgraded room that was expensive, but breakfast was not included. The breakfast was a standard continental, with the addition of eggs, bacon and sausage. I’ve stayed at other hotels that had the same breakfast or better complimentary with stay. The pool was not open, it’s outdoor, but the hot tub was and it was dirty with floaties. I asked the front desk to bring up towels and more shampoo and conditioner, since we stayed an extra night and I’m still waiting on it, almost 20 minutes later. Also, the floor I was on smelled strongly of natural gas, it didn’t deep into my room, but walking the halls it was powerful. I paid $160 a night for a premium room and expected way more.

$79.00, they are so desperate for business that they trick you into a nights stay. Because once you see and smell it you aren't going to stay another night. The smell one you enter the doors is a cross between mold, mothballs and body odor. When opening the door to the room is as bad as nightmare as the hallway. Nothing meshed with the interior design except the massive entertainment center and night stand. The beds were comfortable pillows plump. The ceiling below the heating/air conditioner vent has black mold. There has clearly been a water leak. Stay away from this health hazard trap.

The room was clean when we checked in. The bed was comfortable. Don’t expect service.

I stay here often for work and have never had an issue. Staff is always on point and courteous. The on-site restaurant has a full bar and decent traditional American food. The view is surprisingly good from all the rooms/restaurant. The rooms themselves are your run of the mill red lion rooms, nothing fancy but have everything you need and have always been (in my experience) clean.

Not bad but no real Wi-Fi. They have it but it's like dial up split between every one. No ac in hallways or conference rooms. Maybe better than other options in town for the cost. Wallpaper was peeling itself off the walls and signs of roof leak in room. Wouldn't stay more than a night or two. Has good food if you go before 8 after that kitchen was closed. Bar closes at 9.

Large rooms, beautiful views, has been a more luxurious location in the past. Needs a bit of updating and a thorough deep cleaning.

These people will not let you check in even a minute early. They don't care how far you came, or how long you've been up. They will turn you away. They have hundreds of rooms, in a small town. Those rooms only fill up once or so a year. There's no reason they should disrespect their tired customers by sending them away. This has happened multiple times to multiple people.

I arrived at this hotel about 9:30 p. M. Exhausted and more than a little grumpy after a long day of travel. I had never stayed there, and was unfamiliar with the layout of the hotel. I originally asked for a room with a balcony, but if you are traveling with a dog, ask for one of the lower level rooms that face east. Once I realized they have rooms with direct access to a pet-friendly area, I asked to change rooms and the staff graciously accommodated us. This is far and away the best place I have ever stayed with my dog! The rooms I speak of open up to a huge, well cared for grassy area and they even provide bags and a bin for easy clean up. My room was clean and spacious and the bedding was fresh and comfortable. A hot breakfast is included in the price of your room. To the "new" gal at the front desk I snapped at for not knowing the the rooms better: please forgive my lack of manners. I'd like to thank you and the night manager for treating us so graciously. Now that I know about this gem, I will plan my future trips to WA and back around staying at this hotel. To my fellow travelers with 4-legged companions, do yourself and your dog a favor and stay here!

While at red lion we received top rated treatment by the staff they were friendly well knowledge in food and drink choices. Menu was full of good choices. Food arrived in a timely mane with great serving portioned wonderful taste.

We had a very good stay. Lounge was great to have some wine and relax. Sam was a very good dig. So he was allowed to have dinner with while dining.

It was a very nice hotel with good service. They let us bring our dogs in and brought us an extra bed because we didn't have enough for our whole family. They also had a nice breakfast buffet that we stopped at before heading back out on the road.

This is a lovely hotel. Great for families. The rooms are generic fare but clean and well stocked with towels, pillows and blackout curtains for that bright eastern Oregon sun. There's a restaurant and lounge with pool tables and speaking of pool theres a large pool and spa over looking one of the finest views in the area. Bonus there are chair lifts both for pool and spa for those people challenged to get in and out of the water.

After being on the road for over a week, and staying in "budget" places (around $150/night) this is a gem! We stayed at a Red lion in WA the last 2 nights that was more expensive and felt just like a cheap super 8. This place has wonderful spacious rooms with high ceilings are perfect after being cramped in a car. Super comfy beds working A/C, and an actual hot breakfast with all the food groups, not just stale breads and bad coffee. We will definitely put this place on our map whenever we travel through this part of OR!

Not as clean and neat as I expected it to be considering I payed $100.25 a night. Had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and potatoes all 4 mornings. They need to change the main breakfast once in a while pancakes or French toast would of been nice. Over all nice place to stay. House keepers need to pay better attention to their work. Make beds look nice ect.

Very basic. It was implied that breakfast was complimentary but in fact it was 6.95 per person for fake eggs and no fruit. Not worth the price.

The worst Red Lion in years. At check we were threatened with a fine for smoking near the facility at check in, but when we walked out to get our bags, house keeping was right outside the door smoking and joking. The bar was run down and was the only facilities serving dinner. The waitress was rude and proceeded to try and read my mind rather than letting me order. We paid extra for the breakfast-with dirty plates, no silverware, and food old and dried up for being just opened 20 minutes ago. Very depressing could not even eat so grossed out, had to just leave angry. What a way to start the day. I do not recommend this facility.

The room was clean and cool. The aircondtioning was easy to use and efficient. The staff was helpful. The breakfast could have been open past 9am on weekdays. Most people don't get up that early at a hotel. Over all: great stay and would stay again.

I went to an awards assembly for educators. I enjoyed the catered food and the atmosphere.

The Red Lion Hotel was very very nice! I had read a lot of poor reviews and they are obviously old. The lobby was clean and beautiful. The staff was polite and helpful. The rooms were clean and very accommodating with both fridge and microwave. The bathrooms beautiful and the personal care products were lovely and unique. GREAT HOTEL would definitely stay here again!

Rooms were clean and the frond desk was very helpful. The fitness room is very lacking though.

Location is nice because it is by a Sharis and a little market and away from busy traffic. The rooms are nice with nice tv's and comfortable beds. Good service and food as well.

I have stayed at countless hotels across the US including many Red Lion Hotels, so I can honestly say this hotel is a in a state of disrepair previously unforeseen. All the parking spaces near my room were taken up with leftover roofing material left in the lower parking lot. My room key quit working mid-stay. As did others. My keys card was updated. Still didn't work. I waited in the lobby while the mechanism had to be cleaned before I could get in. I said hello how are you doing the the housekeeper and he totally ignored me and in fact appeared annoyed at me for asking. He was smoking a cigarette right outside my room window, which I had to shut, something not allowed for guests but permitted by staff. The meeting rooms were consistently either too hot or freezing cold, something to consider if you are planning a meeting or conference here.

The lady sent me back and forth through the whole hotel, carrying a was sleeping baby in a car seat, and a cart full of suitcases. She didn't know anything. Arms were dead before the process was over.

First of all, staff and management very rude. This hotel Jacks up prices based on demand. For the round up, the raised there rooms rates from $52 to $280. This is very wrong, gas stations that do the same get fined. Rooms are ok, great views and food was good. But so upset at staff for the price gouging I will never stay again!

A great room with a friendly staff. The restaurant had great food and the lounge was fun and relaxing. The pool was great and also the exercise room worked out great. The price booking on line my the price wonderful. I've always had a good room at any Red Lion.

This is not a typical "Red Lion" customer service is not their top priority. The rooms were not cleaned daily. They did not refill coffee or clean coffee maker. They left dirty towels on the floor, failed to empty garbage, the room was left open with our laptop and belongings inside. The staff in the dining room in the morning did little to help or acknowledge guests, clean tables, the front desk staff need a lesson in customer service. The outside of this place is in disrepair and is unsightly. When problems were brought to their attention they corrected it for a day then once again — no service. They failed to honor our expedia price and charged us a higher rate without first informing us — no wonder you pay when you leave — and the internet is terrible.

The staff was very unfriendly and rude. We asked for a room off the busy street and had to pay an "upcharge" to move off the highway side of the hotel. The room was clean, but on our second night we had to ask for towels, soap, ect as it seems the only thing the maid service did was make the bed. The carpet was not even vacuumed. We have never stayed at a hotel that was so uninviting. Don't waste your time or money there.

Hold on to your hats for a lengthy review. This has been a very disappointing hotel. They are obviously not focused on their guests. We arrived a bit early with a cranky 2 year old and 8 month old who were tired of being in the car. The lady at the front desk told my husband that our room wasn't ready without even looking at anything or calling housekeeping. She was very grudging when she finally checked us in. The room was spacious, but quite run down. The toilet was unsealed from the floor so every time you sat on it, it rocked to one side. The shower had mold and soap residue all over and peeling caulk. Housekeeping didn't show up until almost 5 and only changed the towels, no other cleaning done. The Best Western across the street is so much nicer and less expensive. Quality hotel would recommend. Restaurant/ Bar on site and a outdoor pool. Clean spacious rooms, overall well maintained.

I have a great deal of pain right now in my lower back. It's a recent development, and will be corrected soon. When we arrived at the hotel after a 6 hour drive, the desk person noticed my pain and asked me about it. I told her that my back pain made it difficult to stand or walk for more than a few minutes. She immediately offered to provide me with a room that was much closer to the lobby. I would never have asked for it. So, for her to have noticed and inquired about it was exemplary customer service and great kindness. I asked her name, but I have forgotten it, to my shame. Great stay. Great room. Great price. Great service. Thank you.

I love staying at this Red Lion, the view of the mountains is amazing.

I needed a hotel in Pendleton the last week of August, and the place I normally stay was full. My schedule prevented making a reservation, so I walked in and asked for the cheapest room I could get. What I got was a ground floor room close to the lobby for a rate that blows the competition away. The room was clean and well appointed. The fitness center has good quality equipment, and is open 24 hours. (The treadmill was out-of-order, so hopefully it's getting fixed. ) The grounds are nice with a full-service restaurant and lounge, and I was impressed to see hoists to help those in need get in or out of the pool or hut tub. This is where I'll stay whenever I need a room in Pendleton from now on, that's for sure.
