The staff was so friendly, especially the front desk and the maintenance (needed help with understanding the tv). Lovely rooms. We were upgraded at no cost because the room we had was a corner room river view, and our upgrade showed the whole river view.

Luv the pet friendly place, extended our stay & we will be back!

This is a wonderful hotel! We had the one bedroom suite and it couldn’t be more lovely, cozy, clean & spacious! The jetted tub is huge and the jets are great. Staff are friendly, helpful, accommodating & seem to genuinely care about us having a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this hotel. Don’t let the few blocks from the beach hinder your staying at this hotel. The rooms and staff are worth a couple blocks walk to the ocean!

To start with the price of this place is outrageous for what they give you during this Covid time. Also, when we got up to our room it had not been cleaned. The countertops were dirty and sticky, the floors had not been swept or mopped, the hide a bed has to be at least 20 years old as the mattress is shot, plus cushions were stained and dirty, leather chair in room needs to go to the dump as well. When my sister called to complain about it, (we had also taken pictures), they brought cleaning supplies up to the room and wanted us to clean it. Then they were coming in later that day to sweep the floors.
With all the gouging that is going on during this pandemic, it just isn’t worth really traveling unless you have your own travel trailer or somewhere nice that you can stay that isn’t going to gouge you to death.
The other problem we had is that the manager was appalled that we would think that her special motel had dirty rooms.
For $383 a night, I expect “sparkle “. The discount they gave my sister was only 20%.
Smells of dank, moldy halls as well. I will never stay here or suggest this place.

Do not stay here. The pictures on their site look great the reality is completely different.
I booked a king bedroom suite with River view.
The lobby and carpet are old and smells of humidity. When I got to my room it was not what I booked.
The River view was of the Holiday inn parking lot. When I went down to tell them this is not what I booked, they claimed they had “upgraded” me to this room with 2 beds.
And insisted the room had a River view. The lady at the front desk even went with me to the room to prove me that if I opened this tiny window I could see the River. Or if I went out to the balcony I could see the corner of the River. Really?
Turns out they were out of rooms and this was the last room left. So they decided not to honor my reservation and most likely gave my room to someone else.
Since it was late we had no other option but to stay.
We couldn’t wait to get out of there the next morning. The carpet and the sofa in the living room are old and stained.
The manager never had time to meet with me, so she sent the supervisor to give us a 15% discount. The best joke is the room was almost $400.
I’ve stayed at the Ritz with the view of the ocean for that rate! Don’t waste your money.
Down the street there’s a much nicer hotel which we found the next day called the Kathryn Riverfront Inn. Rooms are way nicer and you actually get a view of the River. Oh and service was outstanding!

Let me start by saying they hands down have the BEST staff I have ever come in contact with! So incredibly friendly, helpful, and make u feel right at home!
Now the room on the other hand! Ridiculous. The pull out couch bed was like sleeping on springs. And so loud that when u moved u woke everyone up in the whole room!
U have a dishwasher and washer and dryer but no soap to use them. The dishwasher was still full from previous people.
the elevator is used by staff and clients so when u are actually lucky enough to go actually be able to use is it smelled of weed so bad we had to use the stairs anyhow…
and don’t even get me started on the disappointment breakfast was. Hard as a rock bagels and little scones that were just crumbly messes…
1/2 the reason we went was to swim and they closed the pool the day before we went yet every hotel around us had pools open! So so stupid! No reason that pool needed to be closed! Most definitely would not return in the future!
Wish I could take the front staff to every hotel I go to though! They were the best! And the treasure hunt map added a level of fun for our family so we did appreciate that!

They are too expensive for the accommodations they offer. Its a renovated older hotel so there's one small elevator for both guests and their cleaning/maintenance employees. For a hotel that size, too inconvenient for both the guests and workers. The 2nd bedroom didn't have a TV and sadly, the mattress in the king bedroom was really hard, not comfortable at all. It isn't a bad place to stay, per se but I now understand why they only have a 3-star rating out of 5. Seaside on general is way too expensive to stay at.

My husband and I travel extensively and this is one of the best hotel rooms we have every stayed in. The bed was better than the one I have at home. A few of my favorite amenities was the jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and fully furnished kitchen. Great place, great price!

My daughter and I loved having our own kitchen and washer/dryer. They supply the laundry and dishwasher detergent. And all the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Very warm in their greetings and eager to assist! Truly a wonderful 5 days!

We stayed here for two nights when our daughter got married a few weeks ago. We were pleasantly surprised when our one bedroom was upgraded to a two bedroom!
We love it here and have stayed here several times. The rooms are so nice and very comfortable.
Whitney at the front desk was so helpful and was super nice! Every employee that we encountered were very friendly and helpful!
We will definitely be back when we visit Seaside again!

Absolutely loved that it had a Kitchen with cookwear dishes even utensils. Also washer and dryer in room was able to dry our suits after swimming ❤ Loved how spacious the room was bed very comfortable views were gorgeous.

If you are ever down here Rivertide Suites is awesome. 2 bedrooms, 2 bath one with jetted tub, full kitchen with everything you need, fireplace, washer and dryer in room; balcony with view, spa, pool, right in the heart of the city. $169 a night! Crazy.

We stayed for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite with our family of 6. It was super clean and well appointed. We loved their continental breakfast, though I had very few options being gluten free. They also offer an evening snack with drinks! It’s walking distance to the beach and the aquarium. The pool was nice, but small and very popular. I appreciate that the lighting was not LED like most hotels these days (as I’m highly sensitive and get migraines from LED lighting). Overall it was a wonderful stay and a great value. I highly recommend Rivertide Suites!

Reservation was lost in their system and all rooms were booked. Chandler at the front desk was especially impatient, curt and inconsiderate. We've stayed here every year for the past 5+ years. Never will they get our business again.

I’ve stayed at many hotels over the years and this is by far my best experience. Amazing staff and service.

We just got checked in, and all I can say is wow! Everyone has been so nice and helpful. LOVE our room, such a well thought out room.

The hotel itself was nice minus the slow elevator that seemed a bit oudated so we used the stairs which wasnt awful since we were on the second floor. We checked in well after 4pm and the room wasn't ready. The wait was only about 10 minutes.
The pool hours for kids has changed and the only way you know that is a small piece of paper given at check in now ends at 9pm. The sign on the door states pool hours for kids goes to 10pm adult swim 10pm to 11pm. We ended up with a sad little one the first night. I asked the front desk about the difference in the sign and the paper given at check in time and she said it was due to adults complaining about the lack of adult time at the pool. She was annoyed that I asked and was snippy about the explanation.
The jacuzzi tub was a nice touch in the room. No sign explaining the self clean function that had us concerned the tub was broken. We figured it out on the second day.
The dishwasher was half loaded when we checked in but we didn't mind since we were surprised by it. I made sure to run before we checked out.
We wanted housekeeping to come in but per the front desk "some kid must have put a do not disturb sign on the door. " They put a paper in the door stating that if we wanted maid service we had to call down by 2pm. We didn't return to the room till well after that.
Then my biggest complaint… there was a washer and dryer in the room. We went to do a load of laundry and the washer wasn't working.

So far so good, friendly customer service, washer and dryer in room which is awesome!

Check in was supposed to be 4… currently waiting in a packed lobby because rooms aren't ready. Very disappointing, as we've got sandy wet kids waiting for a room to change. I've never been at a hotel that was "running behind" their check in time… with no idea of a time frame. Would love to update on the actual rooms, if we ever get to one!

Amazing Front Desk Manager Victoria is awesome. We had a miscommunication on price of the room and she went out of her way to still accommodate and rectify the situation. The entire staff and hotel was 5 stars!

This place is awesome. So worth the money. Friendly staff, happy hour, nice pool for the kids, exercise room, a few board games, coffee and juice all bite. The only downfall is the continental breakfast. They provided everything I needed including the detergent pods for the washing machine and dryer in the room.

Generously sides sites in a great location. Due to a reservation snafu we were initially placed in an incorrect class of room but the staff solved the issue immediately on the first night. Amenities in the room are great and include a full kitchen with dishwasher and a washer/dryer in room. Location is convenient to the beach and everyone has been very dog and baby friendly. Breakfast is decent but the proximity to the outdoor patio where the dog can hang out is key to making it an easier morning.

Talk about upgrade! We checked in at Rivertide Suited at Seaside, Oregon. My youngest is deathly afraid of heights and elevators. As I was checking in, the front desk clerk overheard him talking about how “sketchy” the elevator was and that he was scared. She waved her magic wand and put us in a room on the bottom floor that I would definitely call a suite. It had a full bedroom w/king bed, full kitchen, dining room, riverview, double sinks, fireplace, jetted tub and living room. She did not charge us an upgrade fee. This was a welcomed gesture. I appreciate the kindness of the staff. They went above and beyond without us asking. Very sweet. Also, this is one of the cleanest places to stay at Seaside. Thank you Rivertide!

Excellent! The room layout was great and included a complete kitchen with all necessary plates, cups, cooking utensils and also a dishwasher. Bed was comfortable and the fold-out in the living room was also comfortable. The room was very clean. The small balcony was quite nice to enjoy a nice cup of tea. The staff was very nice and very helpful to everyone. Location was perfect, not too close to the beach and not too far. A short walk to many good restaurants. AND the room includes a washer & dryer! We enjoyed our visit.

Price is great for what you get! Great place that our family has been coming to for about 10 years. The staff has been good throughout this time, so it seems the management has it's priorities set right. The rooms are good, albeit showing a bit of age from guests not treating them well. The 6' bathtub is always something to look forward to.

This place is wonderful! Check-in was smooth and quick. Our room was exactly what we had reserved and more. It was clean and very spacious. It felt like we were at home rather than in a hotel room. There was more than enough privacy and the jetted tub was an added bonus that I hadn’t expected. Also, I’ve never seen a bath tub so gigantic, it was great. The view of the river was nice and relaxing. The location is close to everything in seaside. My kids had fun going to the rooftop hangout where you can view the ocean. The breakfast was fine for free breakfast, but it was nothing special. My one complaint is the recreation area. It was nice that there were floaties available for the kiddos, but the pool was freezing. My kids couldn’t enjoy it and neither could I. Also, the hot tub was so chlorinated it hurt to breath. It was dirty on the bottom and the seats were rough to touch. It’s sad to see such a beautiful property have a neglected recreation space. Otherwise, this place is fantastic!

This place is a gem, the staff is incredibly friendly, the suites have all the comforts of home. We stayed in a dog friendly room with our pups. It was fantastic.

The hotel is located right next to the city center, all of the fun is well within walking distance. I wasn't sure what to expect because of the price of our room (around $70 on Memorial day) but it certainly exceeded it's price point. Our room was a queen size suite and had a full kitchen and even a washer & dryer. The staff was very friendly and kind. Parking wasn't an issue. They even have beer for purchase at the front desk (and the price really isn't too much worse than the grocery store). My only gripe was the additional cost of Wi-Fi, but we wouldn't have used it even if it was free. With that said, it should be free. You can get it for free at almost any fast food place so why would a hotel charge $10 for it? Changing that would probably up there rating from most by a full star. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again.

This place is absolutely amazing. I recommend to anyone. The jetted tins come in every room. Every room has a kitchen and a balcony. For very god peices! The staff is super friendly! Loved it ♡ plan in advance though they were fully booked when we went.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom Suite. Very nice rooms with plenty of room for my 3 kids. The room was clean and the service staff was excellent. We had read some bad reviews about the breakfast; however they recently changed and improved the breakfast. It was nothing special but it certainly wasn't bad. Overall a very nice clean hotel with reasonable prices.

We stayed here last year and before our stay I made sure the room we booked could accommodate my mother who is in a wheelchair, she has only one leg. They assured me the room they were putting us in could handle her wheelchair and she would be able to shower just fine. When we get to our room we realize she would not be able to take a shower due to both bathrooms having tub showers. Also the beds were smaller then promised. They didn't pick up our trash twice even after we asked and we had to repeatedly ask for more towels. If you are staying with a bigger group this place doesn't seem to be able to keep up, they only allow one vehicle to park in their parking lot per room.

The room was great, loved being able to cook family meals while on vacation. Marvelous view of the river and the beach in the distance. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was perfect for our family and privacy. The rooftop area presented superb views! So much potential for using that space in the summer time. Breakfast was hot and offered a good variety. Location is just fine for walking to town and exploring nearby restaurants. Only downside was the pool was very cold and the hot tub was filthy. Not being anle to use the highly anticipated amenity, did negate one main reason we selected to book this hotel.

We really like this hotel. This was our second time staying there and it didn't disappoint. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was in good condition. We loved having separate bedrooms and having a washer and dryer in the unit. We will plan to stay here every time we visit Seaside.

My family and I have been coming to Seaside at least one week per year for the past decade or so, and usually a few quick weekends per year as well. This was our first time staying here, and can honestly say we will continue to stay here from now on. The rooms over deliver, very nicely appointed, separate bedrooms, gorgeous bathrooms, great showers. Our room also had its own washer and dryer which was very nice to have this trip after flying in from a 11 day Orlando trip. The kitchen was also very well appointed, with fridge, stove/oven, microwave. The property is very clean and well manicured. Most spaces are covered parking. Balcony with slider just off the living room with a fireplace. Wonderful proximity to the sand, and all the great restaurants, steps from Norma’s, Pizza Harbor, and Pig N Pancake, the famous Seaside Candyman, as well as the bike rental place. The staff has been nothing shy of terrific, very friendly. Chloe in particular was great to us from check in, to check out. We even had to add nights to our existing plans, she made it no problem. My wife left her lights on after returning from dinner, and Chloe called to let us know so we would t wake up to a dead battery. I have read nearly all the reviews, and totally disagree with all the negative, or sub par reviews on here. The only thing that wasn’t amazing was the hide a bed couch, kids said it wasn’t super soft, but overall this place, the location and service is 5 Stars. Will be back soon!

My room was great but the breakfast was not to desirable. No meat at all. What kind of red blooded Americans eat breakfast with no meat. Not his guy. The rest or the stay was amazing all the staff was so friendly and warm. The room was so comfortable it was like staying in an apartment. Very homey feeling. Will be going back and have recommended to all my family.

My husband and I stayed in a studio suite. It is nice to have a fully equipped room to stay in when away from home. Fridge, dishwasher, stove and microwave. Also a washer and dryer in the bathroom. The coffee pot could be cleaner in my opinion. When we arrived there were clean dishes In the dishwasher but I feel like the dishes should have been put away before a guests arrival. Dusting in some areas also seems to have been neglected. The jetted tub is nice and large but something seemed to be wrong with the jets. The biggest flaw with the room was that you could hear everything happening in the hall. When people start getting up in the morning, there's no chance of sleeping in.

Wonderful stay. I'm a General Manager of a hotel in Vancouver, and I'm normally pretty critical of other hotels. Debbie made our stay. I wish I had an employee like her at my establishment. Her energy is great and her laugh is infectious. She's a keeper. If not, I'll gladly take her. Nice spacious rooms with everything you could need. Only complaint was the slow elevator. Room was great clean and nice, very spacious but the concierge at night was very rude. We went to rent movies at around 11:00pm and we couldn't get them to work. It was obvious why the DVD player couldn't read it, they were scratched to death and I know it's not their fault they were scratched in the first place, but it was very clear they thought it was our fault that the movies wouldn't work. They didn't offer to replace the movies or make the situation any better. I like my room more than I like the staff.

I must say, this is one of the best hotels I've stayed in! For the insanely great rate we paid, we got a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite that came with: free breakfast, dog friendly, full kitchen, managers reception with free drinks and snacks, free parking and warm & friendly staff. Everyone was so nice, they loved our little pup, and the rooms were amazing! We will definitely be staying here for future trips!

Excellent service. Very convenient suites with full kitchen and all the things you need for family meal cooking. Jet tub which is extra large size in the suite is a nice bonus. Manager's welcome reception is surprisingly unexpected. Highly recommend!

Our room was very spacious and we'll layed out. The bed was comfortable and the jet tub was awesome. Close enough to walk to most things in town. Would definitely stay here again.

By far the best hotel experience I have ever had — and I travel a decent amount. I had to stay in town for a night, and after having an issue with another booking at a hotel down the road, I stumbled into the Rivertide Suites Hotel later in the evening. I was tired and upset already from the day. The front desk staff, one lady was named “Chloe”, was quick to help me with an amazing room with a view of the river. They were not only friendly and understanding, they had a good sense of humor and laughed at my half-assed jokes. The bed was comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. My boyfriend decided a bottle of wine was in order after our day, but we forgot our corkscrew so the front desk was quick to help us out. The check out time wasn’t too early and we were able to actually have a proper healthy breakfast which was complimentary. Usually there is something at every hotel that ends up being a little bit less quality than advertised, but not here! I’m booking my next stay this week, and plan on making this my go-to spot!

It had good atmosphere and was a nice place to stay. The service was perfect and there was no problems. I enjoyed my visit.

Rented a suite. Room decore seemed clean and current. Everything seemed to function. Nice having a washer and dryer in room. Nice kitchen with cookware. Was nice for preparing our own food. Breakfast was available daily. Will strongly consider returning. Downside would be insufficient parking. Inadequate heating for room.

The accommodations and location are great. The staff is always really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is ok, but could maybe use more options. We stayed in a pet friendly room for the first time and I was impressed with how clean it was and how you wouldn't have been able to tell that other pets had stayed there before. We love it here!

I would like to say first and foremost that Rivertide Suites is the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Seaside. The rooms are fresh and seem recently remodeled, and the in-room washer/dryer perhaps received the most praise from my group of almost 30 people. An improvement would be to get small caps for bottoms of furniture legs to reduce noise, as the amount of noise from upstairs furniture moving was… a lot. Even with that, the hotel staff and the atmosphere they help foster contributed to one of the best weekends I've had in perhaps a decade. Many thanks!

Welcoming pleasant check in staff. Warm comfortable room. Cleaning staff get 6 stars. Cleanest room I've ever stayed in and will be our go to place to stay in seaside for this reason. Only downside is the lack of breakfast options but do to the full size fridge, stove, and other amenities a healthy meal can be prepared in your room. Room also has a dishwasher, full size washer and dryer and a relaxing spa tub.

I stay in lots of hotels all around the world and this one is one of the best. Staff are extremely helpful and nice. Rooms are very large. Easy walk to the sea front. Very easy parking. My only slight issue is the breakfast included is very okay. The pool and hot tub is very nice, we love this place and would come again soon.

Full mini kitchen with dishwasher, oven, stove, and fridge, fully stocked with mixing bowls, pots, pans, silverware, etc. Dining table and area, living room area and bed with small closet. Jetted tub in the bathroom, though I didn't try it. Washer and dryer too, which was great for drying our wet clothes after the many rainy walks we took around the center area of town, which was very conveniently so near to the hotel! Pretty decent biscuits and gravy at breakfast, to go with hard boiled eggs, yogurt, juice station, and espresso station (which made a good mocha). We had a queen bed and a fold out couch in our room for sleeping arrangements, used both, they were standard hotel beds that you would expect. All in all a pretty good stay. Friendly staff.

Gorgeous hotel but I'm not sure I'd choose this one again. Jet tub just started up while we were sleeping (it's really loud), very, very basic continental breakfast (good espresso machine though) and when we folded out need couch for my daughter, tons of dog hair! Couldn't figure out where all dishes in kitchen were… All left in dishwasher from last persons stay (not a big deal) but the dog hair was gross. Staff is very friendly but we got the room right by office/entrance and we were woke up at 6am from loud talking at office. Not the way you want to wake up on vacation :/

Absolutely surprised bout how nice the rooms were. The value was through the roof. The hotel is centraly located to the main street and entertainment. I will 100% be returning throughout the winter time to relax.

I arrived at the Rivertide Suites at noon on my check in date hoping to drop off my luggage so I could enjoy the town unencumbered, they were able to get me into my room immediately. The staff is friendly and helpful, the room is clean and comfortable and the location is convenient.

People were nice but definitely NOT even a three star hotel. Really slow elevator (only one), old style room card keys that still get "wiped if next to your cell phone" as they said, AC was lame (they did give us a box fan) and the breakfast is pretty old school motel stuff — only cold little hard boiled eggs as protein… the Costco bag ones. The cereal, bread, oatmeal and biscuits & gravy type thing. Free parking … for one car only, the other must park on the street. Reserved a suite at a quoted max rate of $323 per night (kind of high for the rooms but it was during the solar eclipse) the second and third nights were lower and they never sent an email confirmation. BUT, when I checked a couple weeks before the stay, they had the wrong dates and no record of the quoted price. I was charged rack rate totalling over $1700 for four nights. Not cool…

Our room is very big for a hotel room and has two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is very nice and everything is very clean. The view is not quite ocean front but don't be mistaken because it is beautiful in all directions. On one side you can see the canal and the ocean as well as some hills to the south. On the other side you get a beautiful view of the mountains. Very nice place.

A hidden gem in Seaside. Spacious Studio, 1 or 2 Bedrooms Suites, with full kitchen, dining space and living room with fireplace and balcony. The place serves a free breakfast and evening reception with beer, wine and snacks! Reasonably priced walking distance to everything. The beach is a few blocks away and on high floors you can see the Ocean. Place sits right on the river.

We got an incredible discounted rate for a suite here — it was amazing! This 2 bedroom suite was bigger then our two bedroom apartment! Nice sized kitchen with stocked cabinets — jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom, a great balcony to enjoy the river views. The swimming pool was on the tinier side, nothing spectacular about it, the same goes with the free breakfast — it was the sad usual — cold cereal, oatmeal, bagels, toast, fruit and juices — we got a great deal, but the price you would normally pay I would expect better breakfast — making hot biscuits and gravy is not hard and is always appreciated in Oregon! I think that's the only thing they could work on — maybe a better working elevator too — but they really are a nice NICE hotel — and the local is great, right down the strip to the coastal stores and restaurants, and only 3 minutes drive to the beach front!

I knew this place was gonna be good when they called me and asked me when I was planning on arriving. They had our room ready when we got there, the staff was personable, professional and so nice and helpful! The room was incredible, we were in the studio, but felt like home! The only issues we really had, the bed was too soft, it was cloud like, and the couch was a little hard, but it was still great! We had a mountain view with the parking lot for our balcony, but the view was still really pretty. The pool and spa were great too! The breakfast could have been better, but it wasn't bad enough to complain about. Thanks for making our anniversary trip such a memorable one! Will absolutely stay here again!

It is a nice hotel for a good price. About e blocks from the main shops and the beach. Serice was good, but not great.

I used to stay here all the time. It was great. Clearly there's been a shift in quality in terms management oversight. They have a happy hour, which is a great idea unless you don't have any alcohol. Not to say they didn't have one but why would you have a happy hour without any beer? Additionally there's a two drink maximum, which just makes them look cheap. The structure of the building and the room is nice. Unless you have barely have enough towels, plates, cooking utensils. It's obvious that they are cutting back on whatever they can, so we won't be staying there any longer. The $10 Wi-Fi I should be eliminated as it just continues to show how cheap they're acting.

The most amazing place we've ever stayed at the coast! The staff was very friendly and accomidating. The room was by far one of the nicest (and most reasonably priced). The view was breathtaking. The only downside was that we were only able to stay for one night!

Beautiful, high-end 2 bedroom suite. This was the best hotel the kids and I have ever stayed at!

We have stayed here multiple times over the last few years and this stay was the final straw. Check-in is at 4pm, the last three times we stayed we have been there at 4pm and not gotten our room until after 5pm. Knowing they don't have the rooms ready on time I called early in the day of our arrival to ask not for early check-in but on time check-in. They looked up my reservation and took my phone number and said they'd facilitate having the room ready at 4pm. At 4pm when we got there our room hadn't even been started and they didn't start it until after we he been there a while, it was after 5pm when we got in our room. I asked what I could do to avoid this in the future and hey said call like I did so short of that I couldn't do anything to help them get me in my room at check-in time. The room wasn't completely clean, there was garbage on the floor and a toy left in one room leading me to question how much they actually cleaned the room. I asked for a discount since this was not the first time our party had to wait and we come and stay in one of their nicest rooms twice a year. The front desk manager and general manager were both there and they told me about how hard it is to hire housekeepers? They wanted to tell me that 4pm in a general check-in but no guarantee. Bottom line the facility is appropriate for the cost but the service brings down the experience so much that it's not worth it.

Very nice rooms, we had the two bedroom with mini kitchen, complete with mini appliances. Very quaint and nice. However towels were scratchy and service although nice and helpful seemed understaffed, they were always rushed.

Not much of mountain view. What you actually see is a trailer park, and then a hill. However, the town is nice and close to everything, including the first sea lions aquarium. Good coffee/breakfast place right outside of the hotel.

It was fantastic service, very friendly staff, and a fine room. Breakfast the next morning was well done, and attention to detail paid throughout.

Just a note of thanks to all the staff at Rivertide Suites in Seaside, Oregon, I and my German Shepherd dog "Diesel" enjoyed our stay. Diesel, who was born in Texas, would probably never have seen the Oregon Coast and all of its beauty. He chased every seabird until he couldn't. He was one spent puppy at the end of each day, and so was I.

This is a newer hotel located walking distance to downtown with GROUPON specials so I am disappointed to report my unpleasant experience with cleaning issues with the Rivertide Suites. Hair in the jetted tub and shower in both bathrooms and bandaid wrappers and dirt on the floor. Small bag of garbage on the porch. One of the burners on the stove didn't work. I reported it to the manager and he did nothing! He said since I came with Groupon he couldn't do any more because we had all ready received all what the hotel offers. He wanted to add our name to emailing list for specials that were more expensive than the Groupon I purchased! I said I read the reviews and several others have had cleaning issues and said he is surprised to hear about the cleaning issues but he hired a new housekeeping manager recently because of the cleaning issues! Yes he did say this and not only that, another employee said she has been dealing with cleaning issues on the 2nd floor all night. When we returned to the room the next evening the housekeeper never returned to tidy the room. This is a nicer hotel but not luxurious! Breakfast was cold hard boiled eggs that tasted a day old. Fresh made inexpensive waffles. Store bought biscuits and gravy, bagels and cereals. The same everyday! Managers reception served alcohol and pretzels mix. They don't even use duvet covers on the bed. Instead 2 sheets. Gross! This hotel is worth the Groupon but not much more.

We paid $500 per night and also Paid $15 per additional Person in our party over 4. For a two night stay the total came to $1, 090. Then when we check in they decide to inform us that only one of the cars in our party can park on their lot. — you charged us extra for the additional people in our party so the people's cars don't count? — the professional thing to do would be to Inform people of your parking arrangements when they are making a reservation, not wait until your checking in and have already charged their card for almost $1, 100. When I spoke to a manager in regards to no one informing us of this when we were reserving the room his response was "find street parking". After we just paid you $1, 100 you want us to walk 4 blocks to our room?! I wanted to let people know this before they make reservations here because their rude front desk people won't tell you until you've already been charged. Oh and by the at $500 per the night they don't even give you free Wi-Fi, its an additional $10. FIND A DIFFERENT HOTEL it's not worth the $$$$

Great place with great views. A bit pricy, but you do get what you pay for. No doubt coming back here again.

Had a great experience. The kids liked the pool and hot tub. The managers reception was great. The rooms were really nice for the price. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow, however the wired internet connection was very fast. The room is pretty close to the downtown activities.

My wife and I stayed during our anniversary. The welcome was, alright. The suite was really nice. A week had passed after the visit and my foot began to get sore. Following a sharp pain between the balls of my foot (the plantar) formed a small wart. I went to the doctor who said that if I recently walked bare foot on a hard surface after my shower, I could contract this type of hpv if the surface wasn't clean. Meaning that the visitor before me had plantar warts and the staff didn't sanitize the floor after. This is what my doctor told me. You can Google: how do you contract plantar warts. Webmd does a very good job explaining. I sent two emails, two weeks apart, with my experience. No response. I finally called and left a voicemail for the manager to call me back in reference to the email. No response after a week. Finally, I called and got a hold of him. When he realized who I was, he became very aggressive while I simply explained my experience and suggested that his staff sanitize the suite I stayed in. Anybody who has had plantar warts knows how much they hurt and how much it costs to get them removed. I wanted to make sure this didn't happen to anybody else. I wasn't asking for compensation in any form, just simply trying to prevent somebody else from having this issue. After he hung up on me, I called a few Vegas hotels that I had visited back in 2011 and explained the situation and asked how they would handle it.

This was our second time at the Rivertide Suites. The managers and front desk staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. The managers reception in the afternoon was always well attended, serving free drinks and snacks. The suites were clean and tidy. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. The Suites are within walking distance to the beach, main part of the village with it's many choices of restaurants and shops. The breakfast was the same every day, but good. Thank you to all the staff for looking after us so well. Perhaps we'll see you again one day.

$10 for Wi-Fi?! Really?! $200 for one night and they charge for Wi-Fi?! Had I known prior to checking in, I wouldn't have checked in here. We stayed at the ebb tide for $130 and Wi-Fi was free. Plus! It's the ONLY time, out of the dozens of times over the past 30 years coming to Seaside that i've had to wait till 4pm to check in. Stay somewhere else! Spend your money on food instead.

Room showed available on their website, went to book at $189 per night and it would not allow me, wasted 30 minutes of my time. Called hotel and they said only room available was over $300 price, I said fine and booked via phone. A hour later person calls be back and said hotel oversold and had to cancel me reservation. Terrible customer service, beyond words.

Stay for one night and get charged for three nights? Do I smell fraud? My mom wanted to reserve and pay for a room for my sister and I to stay at Rivertide Suites at which point the lady taking the reservation told us that they don't do over the phone credit card transactions, but agreed to make an exception. Well, after arriving at the hotel, we were told by several front desk employees that they would not take a credit card payment via phone. So it then became our responsibility to explain to each employee to look at their notes in the computer, showing that indeed we were assured my mom could pay with no hassle. They took my credit card information just for extra security I guess, but that should have been a red flag to me. Looking at my bank account a couple days later, I noticed they had charged my card for the one-night stay. I immediately called my mom only to find she had been charged for two nights! So they charged us both a total over $600! Now mistakes do happen, I completely understand, but to make matters worse, no one called us back! My mom had to keep calling the hotel to try to speak to someone about the egregious charges and kept getting the runaround. Finally they told her they would remedy the situation, but it would take 5 to 7 business days! Are you kidding me? On top of it all, not a single call or email from any manager of the hotel apologizing for their mistake.

Very nice facility. Cool roof top deck for checking the view out. Very quiet rooms. Managers reception was nice. Only major complaint is there parking, not enough for the weekend crowds. Guess thats a good thing for them.
