Review of Rivertide Suites 3*

My wife and I stayed during our anniversary. The welcome was, alright. The suite was really nice. A week had passed after the visit and my foot began to get sore. Following a sharp pain between the balls of my foot (the plantar) formed a small wart. I went to the doctor who said that if I recently walked bare foot on a hard surface after my shower, I could contract this type of hpv if the surface wasn't clean. Meaning that the visitor before me had plantar warts and the staff didn't sanitize the floor after. This is what my doctor told me. You can Google: how do you contract plantar warts. Webmd does a very good job explaining. I sent two emails, two weeks apart, with my experience. No response. I finally called and left a voicemail for the manager to call me back in reference to the email. No response after a week. Finally, I called and got a hold of him. When he realized who I was, he became very aggressive while I simply explained my experience and suggested that his staff sanitize the suite I stayed in. Anybody who has had plantar warts knows how much they hurt and how much it costs to get them removed. I wanted to make sure this didn't happen to anybody else. I wasn't asking for compensation in any form, just simply trying to prevent somebody else from having this issue. After he hung up on me, I called a few Vegas hotels that I had visited back in 2011 and explained the situation and asked how they would handle it. They all said they would offer to refund me for my stay and to contact the health department and hotel security since it's a health hazard. That would've been nice if the manager of Rivertide Suites knew how to handle the situation in a professional manner, but don't expect to be treated fairly if you are having a bad experience. They just want your money and don't care if you come back or not. That's why they now have to give suites away at discounted rates. They haven't learned that returning customers are the best customers. I would not recommend this place to my friends or family.
