Good and huge foods and the waiters are so hospitality and friendly.

Delicious food and reasonable prices on menu, my 3 years old son love watching the fishes and turtles in the water.

Not expensive, quality food, excellent seafood even no lobstet, cakes moelleux, love ice cream, tea free, romantic japanese chinese garden with beautiful Chinese fishes mixed turtles and some sea fishes, good service with the professional Manager at the front réception. Excellent.

The Pagoda workers are very friendly especially to Chef Mike Arita who came and talked story with us. Wait staff are very accommodating and very helpful. I will recommend the restaurant to my friends and my relatives.

Been staying at the Pagoda for years. They try their best to keep up the hotel even though it does show it's age but you can't beat the location and the on site restaurant. The kids love feeding the koi by the restaurant and the buffets are affordable and pretty decent.

Room was great for $100 bucks. Would highly recommend for a cheap place to crash in paradise. Food is not good!

Room was very nice and clean. Restaurant was super with all the beautiful koi fishes in the waters surrounding the dining rooms. Service and food we're great. Overall a very pleasurable stay. I would visit again and would recommend the Pagoda Hotel and Restaurant to friends.

If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIBully. Com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere! I came for the weekend buffet. Main attractions there are the prime rib, crab legs, and sushi. Also lots of local food like poi. All around a good meal and a good time.

No Frills Hotel, clean room and good service staff. The hotel is a bit dated however it's very fairly price for the area. There is a good restaurant next door with a beautiful Koi pond. Parking at the hotel is only $13 a night which is one of the best deals in that area. If you are looking for a place to crash out and be left alone this is it. They also offer laundry facilities on the first floor. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping located near by that are easy to walk to.

Maybe not an excellent hotel, but it's the staff who made it perfect. Our beds and baths were taken cared of properly. Special mention to one of the front desk staff who always attended to my needs, Alice Pastoral Muyalde. Thank you.

Celebrated my moms birthday here, the staff was very accommodating to my daughter who is older and a picky eater to order ala cart from the happy hour menu. They were also very efficient and kind. The food was great, very big selection for the weekend Buffet dinner and it was a very comfortable atmosphere. My mom enjoyed it so much and said she wants to come back for dinner again ❤️

Went for Mothers Day Brunch with Frank Delima. The two main items Snow Crab and Prime Ribs was what I was after. It was delicious. Everything else was great too. There was a band of Education Teachers who started off singing with so many of the hits from the 50's-60's-70's from various countries. It was awesome! Frank Delima headed the show is talented and thought provoking comedian who was up to speed in current events and it was great! Happy Mother's Day.

Attended a birthday party. Service was excellent. Food was buffet style. Entrees and salads were average fare. All the desserts (cakes, pies, ice cream) were very good.

GPS led us to the back entrance so locating/identifying the Hertz stand was a bit challenging. However, the Pagoda Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming as they provided directions to our rental. Public bathrooms (accessed near the pool using a guest key provided by Hertz personnel) was very clean and well maintained.

Friendly accommodating staff, good security, parking costs but that's ok is staffed /secure & affordable (for the location). Rooms comfortable beds clean & comfy, very reasonable for the cost, I'd expect to pay more to be honest especially with location.

Honestly my expectations were low due to the reviews I had read beforehand, but upon arrival I was greeted by very sweet staff. We received a honeymoon gift upon check in from Kelly, awesome guy. Pillows and beds were comfortable the room was decent. You get unlimited rental of movies and ps3 games while you're staying here. Main reason we went with this hotel is because parking is only 10 bucks everyday with in and out privileges. If you've been doing your research you know that some hotels can charge up to 30 bucks for parking. Unless you stay in a bigger resort of course. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because parking is across the street at the Ross it's not too bad but a minimal inconvenience.

I didn't stay at the hotel but dined at the buffet at the restaurant. It's always good but I miss the shrimp tempura, and it seems they removed the soft serve ice cream machine… which I enjoy but they still had a selection of I've cream in a cup… and toppings so I was happy! Price is higher so nice to have the IDcard for a little discount.

It was fun feeding the fish for just fifty cents. The brunch spread want vast, from crab and prime rib to drumstick ice cream cones. The over the water private room was cool to be in, but a little crowded.

Great place. Offers shopping near by. Good for the kids they liked the pool. If be the best was the floating restaurant with the koi.

Perfect hotel to reduce costs but the rooms are very dated and small. They will try to charge you for everything so come prepared. The pool is very small and it is quite a walk to the beach. We liked the rooms but caution you not to stay here too long… it is small. The staff is great and the shop at the lobby has great snacks. I would recommend for your night before going to the airport… not much more.

An affordable hotel on Oahu that's concurrently located. Tons have a microwave, a toaster, a coffee pot, and a small fridge with tiny freezer. It's stupid, in this day and age, to be charging for internet access, but they do. The pool is tiny, but clean. There's some security that keeps out the riff-raff. An older place, but clean. Note: I've never stayed in a hotel that had only 1 ice machine … on the bottom floor!

Pagoda Hotel is a old, well-known landmark in Honolulu. It is located conveniently next to Don Quijote, while Walmart and Ala Moana Shopping Center are well within a comfortable walking distance. I did not stay overnight for my time there. I was there for a business networking meeting. The lobby is very comfortable, and the staff is very helpful. Hertz car rental staff is in the hotel making it convenient for Hertz customers.

Ugly… and poorly located, better in Waikikk.

Very nice room! Noise was moderate as the street was down below and the jealousies were open. The hallways and exterior of room was kind of outdated but the interior was spacious and modern. Would come back again for the price and conveniency of the location!

Such a great experience being in Pagoda Hotel. Full of amenities and has a ocean side to spend time and relax.

The iconic hotel where the local population come! Just to see the beautiful restaurant with the humongous Japanese koi fish is reason enough to visit here. The staff are laid back and helpful. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and the value for your buck is unbeatable, it's a place you would be proud to bring your family or friends. Hotel security is cool. Restaurants and stores are all within walking distance if no just down the corner or across the street. And the hotel also has a shuttle running every 30 minutes. Ask the front desk for the shuttle app because the driver won't come inside the lobby and he doesn't wait, but the shuttle drivers are friendly and informative, so tip them well.

I'm here for 2 days, close to town & shopping a plus. A/C is great. But, no Balcony, Small room on upper floor, No view. (That's part of my choice of rating)

There were good items (esp. The main dishes) at the buffet. That said, the management may have underestimated the count because of a large party upstairs. The staff seemed to struggle with keeping serving trays filled once the crowd descended on the buffet line. There was open frustration from the servers as they could only promise "it's coming" to endless requests/demands for more food.

Great fish/"floating aquarium" concept. On the restaurant/ballroom side, everything has a run-down feel. You know it's old but for what they do with the fish, it seems well maintained and clean. For ballroom parties, the bottom downstairs room is great. There's a pseudo-overflow area that you can have your antsy kids play safely in (vs being upstairs and having kids run up and down the stairs). Just have an adult watching as you are at street level where the general street public has access to potentially kidnap your kids. This part of town can be sketchy at times.

Had a buffet dinner with co-workers at pagoda. The food selection wasn't too bad but the dessert selection could've been BETTER. Even though it was an "all you can eat" buffet, I seldom go back for another round. Is consider going again maybe to try their dinner menu instead. It was another option we were given if we didn't want to do the buffet dinner.

Although I ignored the general buffet with the exception of the salad/crab I was extremely impressed with the all you can eat crab
… some pieces were a bit overdone (very few pieces) but overall for a buffet I was extremely impressed. If you order all you can eat crab it's delivered by the plate to your table with no pressure to stop ordering. If you prefer lemon (which was mentioned as lacking in other reviews) ask for it. Ask for small plates if eating crab alone (they are very generous with thier portions and quick to replenish) The staff is extremely accommodating and even gives you fish food to feed the koi after you eat. I'm surprised this place wasn't packed (which leads to very attentive servers. ) 10/10 would recommend.

Rooms are clean and fairly decent. Housekeeper is attentive and willing to give fresh towels on a daily if requested. Front desk is friendly and helpful. There's not much amenities at this hotel. So your basically paying for the room. However hotel is in walking distance to every restaurant you could think of. HOWEVER the neighborhood is a bit rough, a lot of homeless and wonderer's in the surrounding area. Security is on site so that's nice. Parking is $10 bucks a night and they do require a security deposit. It's a place to lay your head if your gone for most of the day.

We checked in late in the afternoon and was greeted by a friendly front desk, Alice. She was so helpful to direct me where to park so that I can park my car while she was assisting my wife checking in so that my 2 kids don't have to wait that long. Our room was clean and comfy. The staff in this hotel are very helpful. They have the "Aloha" spirit. When we were leaving our hotel room to check out, my daughter was holding a shopping paper bag with her gifts and the handle accidentally broke, the housekeeper who at that moment was cleaning the room next door saw what happened, she offered my daughter a big shopping plastic bag to replace it with. We have enjoyed our 2 nights stay in this hotel because of how nice and warm the staffs are. "Kudos" to your employees. We would definitely stay here again.

Unlike makino Chaya their crab legs are tastier and not dry; food choices are not greasy and/or oily. Prime rib is done perfectly and their clam/mussel soup is yummy! Ice cream or yogurt machine was not working well that night so we had to settle for "soupy" ice cream; they have an ice cream freezer as well which carried 3 different varieties (kids favorite) Hahahha. Oh and the bread pudding was the best I've ever had. Was worth the price we paid and not to mention the scenery with the waterfall and koi fishes was a plus. Parking for $1 for 2hrs is a deal! Would definitely go again. Husband Definitely enjoyed the crab legs (he's a picky one) more here than makino. He normally cleans them for me to eat but this time he was eating them all. That's a good sign!

Booked it for a week before Christmas on way back from Asia. As a former Honolulu resident I was primarily interested in location and affordability. However we encountered unacceptable conditions here. Sink in the first room was cracked and stained — looked unhygienic — and requested another room. Moved the next day to another room but sink condition was about the same but another surprise awaited us. A decorative runner across one of the two beds was smeared with dry excrement and dried toilet paper when we turned it over — looked like a messy diaper change. Called the manager and was changed to a 3rd room but no apologies were offered or even much surprise for that matter. Think about that.

This is very very horrible and SUCKS! Because I saw a bedbugs and change the room but we are 6 group but beds are only 4 beds.

Room was old, dated and just barely clean. The bathroom tile was falling off the walls and the bathtub had been painted with house paint. I will never stay there again.

The biggest bang for the smallest buck Placed deep in the heart of Honolulu, Pagoda Hotel displays a foundation for cheap room and parking rates, great food, and a decent reach between HNL and the rest of southern OAHU. (one of the cheapest near HNL). Recent majority renovations completed for the better. However, minor renovations are still in progress. Barely noticeable. You never run out of things to do near this place. Whether you are just passing through or are on a tight vaction budget, this place will meet your needs. -Tony V-.
