Great place right in the middle of the action. Its in great location for shopping and eating out. Bar hopping is a must do too. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a good restaurant in the lobby. Pool is on the parking lot rooftop. The only thing is the security is not that responsible for extra help and assist, not a friendly bunch, and it starts from the top down. The problem is with the head of security. He's supporter of the bigger guys on the day shift and that can lead to them spreading rumors and speculation that has a snowball effect and the story is blown out of proportion. Security guards in a condominium or apartment complex are not to eavesdrop on the residents and the resident managers duties as a possible topic of conversation that is in my experience with them not true. Yes I still have a hard time with getting the truth across to them cause of the wild fire effect… Its sickening I'm a misunderstood resident that was recently lies to by a property manager who is a crook. And the owner of the apartment I lived in the beginning. Wes Ching and his wife called themselves the property managers when in fact they were the owners. Having me move in when the place was up for sale not telling me until after I signed a one year contract. Also forcing me to sign a get out immediately document after signing the lease agreement Wes throws a piece of paper that says the exact same get out immediately document after signing the lease agreement.

What added bonus to be in capitol area of Hawaii. Walk to several historical sites. Didn't realize it was an total room with kitchen. Had lot of fun without breaking the bank. I highly recommend for anyone wanting to have fun as stay in budget.

The pictures and description of this hotel was not accurate. Paid premium for a nice view. While the view was nice everything else was not. The rooms are dated. Feels more like a motel than a hotel. Our first room smelled like smoke, so we were promptly moved. There was a fire alarm at 2am so we had to go down 35 flights of stairs. Other reviewers have had this fire alarm incident as well, so I'm not exactly sure I believe the staff when they say there was a toaster issue in one of the rooms. The service of the staff was good.

Very large room with well appreciated kitchenette! Wall carpet has a little unpleasant wall for allergies. Good location but in a poor area a lot of homeless at the entrance to the hotel.

This hotel is in an Executive building with businesses and private residences in downtown Honolulu. We got a room on the 36th floor, overlooking the harbor. It was a beautiful view but there were no balconies. It was a wall of floor to ceiling windows. The room itself was clean but dated. You get a small fridge and a microwave. There is a restaurant/bar on the first floor and many places to eat within walking distance. The pool is big and clean. The hot tub was clean and hot. If the time comes that I need to be in Honolulu again, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great place for extended stay. Keep in mind, all condos are privately owned, but managed and cleaned by the Aston. With that said, no two condos are alike. All have different amenities and decor. Some recently renovated and look brand new, others heavily used and smell. Condos above 20th floor have awesome view. Unfortunately you can’t open windows to let the fresh air in as most of the AC units have seen better days.

Great hotel, really nice room. It was clean and large enough for our family of 3. Comes with everything you could possibly need if you're going to stay awhile. Bed was a little uncomfortable, but not too bad that we couldn't sleep.

My favorite place to stay. Conveniently located. Central to everything. Assigned parking stalls. Tons of stores and restaurants in walking distance. Everything in the building is clean and new. And most of all, the staff is fantastic!

This is not really a "hotel". It's a building with privately owned condos which vary widely in quality. Some of them are lovely, with full kitchens, a small living room and a washer/dryer. Others are small, with a kitchenette, and no real amenities. It's a quiet building. And each unit has separate Wi-Fi so it's really fast. You are in downtown Honolulu, so you are close to business but not the beach. If you're on business travel, this works OK. If you are on vacation, keep that in mind.

My husband and I are staying here because it's close to our work on the pier. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They have a great pool and hot tub. The room is spacious and clean with great views of the mountains and city. There are many shops and restaurants in walking distance and Waikiki Beach is only a half hour away!

It's downtown. Reminds me of home. City life.

I was not a guest. I had a relative staying there. Throughout the day, I had to call on the hotel staff for various requests. Each and every time they were very helpful, and nice about it too! I needed to leave a message, locate the best exit route to get to our dinner destination, get suggestions for good restaurants nearby, and directions on how to get there. The location is interesting. It's in the middle of downtown. Probably very useful for those in town to do business with any of the thousands of companies and firms in the immediate area. However, my relatives were on a vacation… so not conducive to shopping and sight seeing. Excellent restaurants and eateries in the area.

We got a airbnb. Room is clean, amenities available. No compainta fam.

Executive Centre has a nice parking structure that is well secured. The restaurant downstairs is good for parties, pau hana and they have live music often.

Good responsive service, front desk was happy to help when I needed a pan for the kitchen in my room. Elevators feel secure. Pool is nice, and there's a hot tub.

I stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms. The building itself is rather old but the accommodations provided by Aston were fantastic. They really made the best of the space. The rooms and building are shared with other corporate and business entities. I was the only one in a "hotel" room on my floor, of about 12 rooms. The view from the 25th floor was pretty amazing; I could see most of downtown and had a great shot of the mountains. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had to cancel a portion of my advance booking and the process was smooth and painless. I'll remember to come back if I visit here again on business, especially if they continue to renovate.

The food selection for lunch is limited. Good portions and friendly service. Would recommend to friends and family.

The rooms are very large and the view is spectacular. The location is descent if you want to shop and eat but not if you want to walk to a beach. The beds are very uncomfortable and the bathrooms could definitely have been cleaner when are two critical areas. I will not be returning to this hotel.

They are doing some renovation and upgrades, but the hotel was great, and the view from the 35th floor was unreal! Ocean views were delivered and the TV in the bedroom and living room were great and high quality. We got to view vacation pictures on them and it was amazing. I would definitely stay there again! The restaurant in the lobby was great too. Thank you!

Spacious rooms with a view of downtown Honolulu. Staff is friendly and courteous. Minutes away from Waikiki.

Great views, away from the Waikiki madness. Perfect for business travel. Call the desk before you arrive to get your parking stall assignment.

Secured building. Great hotel for the business traveler because of its location which is in the heart of downtown Honolulu. Not so good hotel if you taking the family for a vacation in Hawaii. Other negative is after dark hard to find any restaurants in the immediate area but the kitchens in the unit can make up for that.

Close to the capitol. Great staff. Big, roomy suites. This is my first choice whenever I come to Honolulu on business.

Great place no complaints at all.

My husband and I stayed for 3 1/2 weeks for his business. We loved the staff and could not have asked for any better service from them. The smoking area that we were told to use was not a smoking area. We could not walk out and smoke due to the homeless trying to get cigarettes and money from us every time we went out. Smokers DO NOT stay here. You will be on the street smoking. We will never go back.

This place has no fresh air opennings and it smells of MOLD! The pool is disgustingly dirty! The jacuzzi wreaks of chemicals. The photos they post are not of real suites but are of when the building was built. Horrible place.

It might be the mold in the building that is causing miserable experiences! I think it has "sick building syndrome" too much mold due to lack of upkeep and maintenance especially in the a/c ducts.
