I stayed in four different Econo Lodge hotels in four different states over the past week. This particular Econo Lodge was the nicest by far. It does not have a lot of curb appeal but the rooms have been remodeled and are extremely cozy. It looks like the remodel included laminate hardwood floors, new bathroom fixtures, countertops, new bedding, etc. I was thoroughly impressed. I will stay in this hotel again if I get back to the Durham area. Breakfast was good. It included eggs and biscuits pastries waffles coffee juice etc. Management was super nice and helpful. They really seem like they care about their business and their customers.

Great room for the price. I usually stay here when working away from home and it has been great.

Stayed here four years in a row for visit to attend symposium on my profession. Always a clean well appointed room, helpful staff, and comfortable stay.

We stay here frequently. Staff has always accommodated to our needs. Rooms are always clean; property and establishment is well maintained.

Pretty decent for the price. Room in good condition. Everything worked. Very clean. Nearby stores and restaurants. Average traffic noise. Mini fridge and microwave worked perfectly. Average bed. Room heater ok. Get an upstairs room for more quiet. Friendly management. Convenient parking. Good TV with good cable.

Best Econo Lodge I've ever stayed in. Mattress and pillows especially stood out.

Welcoming and cordisl staff. Very clean room with 2 comfy full beds; we appreciated the sir was already on in the room when we arrived. Nice continental breakfast that offers waffles, eggs and cereal. We loved having a fridge in the room, plus full ironing board & iron! Can't beat the price for all these amenities! We will surely be back on our next visit to see our daughter @ Duke (just a 15 minute drive away)!

I stayed in room 205. Very nice hotel. They also had great customer service.

Pretty fast check-in time. Very nice and clean room for cheap! Closer to a lot of fast food places.

This was a nice hotel, the only issues was not enough safety bars in the bathroom, the ice machine was broken. Beside that I'll recommend it and will return InshaAllaah.

Really nice place. Clean as a whistle and the air was already on in the room. Similar in size to other inn-type places but the furnishings were set up better. There was also an iron and ironing board in addition to the usual amenities. I've stayed in 3 other comparable places during this trip and this place was the best. Oh, and this place was the only one still offering the little bottles of shampoo and conditioner. I'm going to look for these Econo Lodges whenever I'm on the road.

Good price for the area. Pretty good Wi-Fi signal. Rooms are clean. Only drawback is that there's no coffee maker.

The hotel has easy access to 40 and 85. The room was neat and stocked appropriately but it wasn't as clean as it could be. I was greatful for the hard wood-laminate floors. We were greeted by a rather large cricket who was on the bed. The staff were very nice and the continental breakfast was sufficient. If you're just in town for a short stop, this place would suit.

Had a room with pergo type floors, so much better then carpet.

I got stuck in a smoking room due to a booking issue. It smelled just awful. Over all the hotel was fine for one night.

Great atmosphere. Knights Transport have been driving customers there frequently. :)

Clean & decent rooms night manager was super friendly.

Positives. Lots of concerned and friendly people in the area. During the night a lot of people knocked on my door to ask if there was anything I needed. Negatives… you can't smoke your weed in peace, too many dang cops around this place!

Hard wood floors, nice bed, very clean and friendly service! We had our three dogs and could hardly find any places that would let us stay, they did at $10 a pet. Which was excellent considering other places charge $20 a pet. I was expecting a dump but was super pleased it wasn't. We had a good stay and they have HBO! If you're traveling with fur babies I highly recommend staying here!

It has free breakfast and clean rooms.

Great customer service. 2nd stay was better than the first. It was a bit noisy the 1st time. Convenient location.

Good hotel. Nice staff, nice amenities. The only and thing is I found a hair folded in a washcloth, and the other towels did not look clean. (Thankfully I always bring my own so it's not a issue. Other than that it was great.

I found there was work being done, to what seemed to be improvements. The staff was very polite to us and helpful. The rooms were clean and they are pet friendly without previous pet damage. I would stay here again.

I won't even rate it, but I only called to see if any rooms are available and that seemed like the worst question to ask the ghetto man that answered the phone. You could literally hear the attitude in his voice. Even if there were rooms available I wouldn't even bother just because I talked to him. Edward, Eddie, whatever he said, which he said fast because I feel he knew that he had horrible customer service skills and a complaint would be made about him. Smh.

I really despise this place. I went to the front desk really nice and asked where the bathroom was. I really needed to go and the hotel was like the only place to go. The fat old lady at the front desk was rude and asked me if I was staying at the hotel. I told her I wasn't, and she snapped at me and shooed me away. I was really pissed off and I will NEVER go there again. I encourage everybody to do the same.

Boyfriend and I needed to get away from all our friends and family for just one day. Didn't have much money, but figured this place would be halfway decent. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room. Slept well. Good shower and bathroom. No complaints for what it was worth. Would stay there again.
