Not the best hotel to be in for a two week business stay. Not very helpful or friendly staff and such bad coffee if you want a decent cup with your breakfast they bark at you that you have to pay for this as it is not included. And although there is a shuttle service, it is not nice to be told that you are not a priority and they can’t take you to office. Customer service led this establishment is not!

After calling and confirming we could Park and Ride to the airport and confirming again when we arrived, we were told the shuttle left every 30 minutes. They waited until we arrived at the shuttle, at 5:20 for 5:30 shuttle, to tell us that they wouldn’t let us on shuttle unless the airline crew didn’t fill it up. We didn’t get on and it is endangering our flights. Thousands of $$ in flights. No one here seemed to care at all. No apologies. Just explaining we have a contract to get the air crew to the airport.

Gorgeous setting. Staff was amazing, rooms were immaculate, enormous lobby with several incredible outdoor patios. Perfect stay for family or business.

We only used this hotel for an event so I’m not sure about the room and amenities. The event rooms were AMAZING and the staff was helpful. The hotel is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, clean, and very cozy!

Great hotel. Comfortable beds. Renovations were spot-on. Pleasant staff from check-in staff to the cleaning crew; all had manners. The only knock is the sewage smell upon arrival which lingered the entire stay; glad the inside was fresh! I will return.

Service is great, and grounds are simply gorgeous. Love the swimming pool and exercise room. People who visit are kind, friendly, warm too. My visit is for the jarvis & gadsden reunion. Me and my family had a wonderful time this weekend at Doubletree. The staff was very helpful and polite. The food that the chef prepared for our event was great. The rooms were a nice size and clean.

Great staff! There facilities were pretty good but there were some dishes outside the rooms on the floor. The pool looked like a great way to cool off outside in a warm day. I definitely would stay there again.

The hotel lobby was beautiful. I loved the rocking chairs all along the front of the hotel. We used their parking service while flying out of RDU. Their shuttle service was great and would park their again for flights.

Environment clean and quiet. Handicap access. Friendly staff. Great on time shuttle service to and from RDU. They offer long term parking at a cost … so you can leave your car and take shuttle to and from the hotel EVEN if you are not staying at the hotel. That was a plus for me!

Ended up here after some unfortunate situations with RDU but couldn’t be happier with the service. The man working the front desk (Sean) was so friendly and helpful. Handled my check in professionally but was kind and conversed like we were instant friends. Definitely a gem compared to other hotels I’ve checked in to. Showed me the easiest way to get to my room and sent me off with warm goodbyes and warm cookies! 10/10 would stay again. Great check-in and overall experience. Thanks Sean!

The hotel was great. Loved it. Will be staying there again. The only problem is that the trash in the restroom, off from the lobby was overflowing. Showing that the there is a staffing problem or attention to details. Forgot to mention that after having a bar snack, the bartender was more focused on cashing out my tab, than removing my plate.

Nice hotel, would stay here again. There is a bar and a large wrap around porch with rocking chairs. Very charming. They also have a free shuttle that will take you to local restaurants.

Yep it is clean and nice looking hotel. You could easily have an affair there is you so choose. Maybe if you are not too disruptive you could shoot a classy porn there as well. I was there for a conference so my story is boring. No porns happened on my watch.

Everyone’s so friendly and wow the cookies they give you are amazing. I don’t even like cookies. Lol I loved the porchs and the outside space. Breakfast bar was good one day and ok the next. However, our lunches and dinner served to us in the Oak room were incredible! Nice rooms with comfortable beds and pillows.

Good location with friendly staff and a nice bar/restaurant, but the decor in the room was a bit dated and the bed was pretty uncomfortable. The thermostat was broken also. I normally love staying at a DoubleTree, but this one was an exception.

Staff was extremely nice and friendly, unfortunately we could not relax and rest for a few reasons. The thermostat was set to go no lower than 65 and was in direct alignment with AC which kept shutting off without cooling room. Employees apologized at check out but did not help me being exhausted and up all night from a hot room. For the price I was expecting more. At a little after 8am room housekeeping started knocking on doors and loudly announcing house keeping, on a Sunday. The biggest concern was the third floor windows not railed or have screens and can open greater than 6 inches, with little effort the thumb screw clamps can be adjusted or moved, not too safe for little ones. Just my review on my one stay.

Nice staff and room. We ate at the restaurant and it was serviceable. The main issue happened to our travelling partners who had their car broken into (window smashed) overnight before we flew out the next day. There were at least 5 cars that were broken into that night.

Always a great place to stay. The food is great as well. One of the best Gumbos I have ever had.

This is one of the best hotels I have been to, and it only costed around $90 to visit. The accommodations and amenities found at the hotel are very nice, such as: a modern fitness room, a pool, and a piano in the lobby. The architecture of the hotel gives it a charm, because there are outside pavilions with vines and natural plants surrounding it. And finally, the inside of the hotel is very relaxing as it is shown that there are comfortable couches near a fire. Would definitely come back!

I don’t usually write reviews but absolutely loved our first stay at Double Tree. Staff was excellent, the hotel has such a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Restaurant was good and the room was nice and clean. Will stay there whenever I’m in Raleigh for sure.

Room was extremely clean and comfortable… The only downside was all we could see was the roof out the window. Breakfast was better than I expected. Definitely would stay again.

I stayed here for a week and couldn't have been happier. Staff was super friendly and the included breakfast was outstanding! Far from the freeway so it was very quiet. Wi-Fi was excellent and the rooms are new and clean. Can't go wrong on this one.

This was a well-appointed hotel in a very convenient location. Our room was large and comfortable. There was a balcony, but it only overlooked the parking lot; rooms on the other side at least overlook the pool. The breakfast was the usual hot bar you expect from a hotel of this range. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

By far the nicest and most welcoming hotel. I had read about the warm cookies but has forgotten about them until we received the most amazing chocolate chip cookies. Hotel staff was very nice and friendly. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The whole hotel felt more like a welcoming inn instead of a stuffy generic hotel. We ended up going down to the bar for a couple if beers and the while lobby was filled with guests enjoying them sells and eachother company. They have a covered outdoor lounge area by the pool that blew my mind. If it wasn't so cold, I could have stayed out there all night. Will highly recommend to anyone staying near Raleigh/Durham and will hold every hotel this this one's standards.

Location is convenient to work. Good airport shuttle system, clean, quiet, rooms and decent rates. However, little details aren't quite right… like the bathtub stopper was broken.

The hotel is a few miles from the airport. They have a shuttle that runs almost all the time. The front desk staff was very helpful and nice. The bartender was excellent. My room was clean and very nice. The bed was great, and I got a good night of sleep. Great experience overall.

What a nice place! Has a bed and breakfast look and feel but with the latest amenities. The staff was very professional and kind. There’s a lunch buffet with good food that felt like Sunday dinner. Love the huge fireplace and the outside covered patio area. I was pleasantly surprised and will be back.

I’m not normally one to review but I must say the experience at this Hilton was a step above what we even expected. There were 5 wedding at the venue and we received impeccable service. The front desk staff really made it for us. They were so friendly and kind which you don’t often find these days. Highly recommend this hotel if you need a nice space.

Eliseo is the best bartender ever. Period. Give him all the love. He's the best and deserves a billion dollars in tips. He's so easy to talk to and chuckles at silly conversations and makes people feel very welcome. He should be a manager and I love him. Period.

The rooms are very comfortable and include mini fridges and microwaves. The food is very good and is served in large enough portions to put half of it into the mini fridge for later. There's a nice pond with ducks and paddle boats!

To be fair, this is a 4 star hotel, but always a 5 star experience. My go-to place in RTP. Great staff, a complete set of amenities, and a fresh, yet traditional Carolina atmosphere. Quick service in the restaurant, a great bar, and plenty of space to do business.

Nice quiet location just off I40 but fairly close to a number of local attractions and a good selection of restaurants. The hotel itself us welcoming and the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. The staff are extremely helpful and the service at both the bar and restaurant was excellent. The breakfast buffet was very good.

The hotel is amazing. Beautiful building with rocking chairs on the porch as you arrive. There is a good restaurant and bar. The outdoor pool is nice with lots of chairs surrounding it. The rooms are standard Double Trees with comfortable beds. The only downside is the lack of anything to do nearby.

Not a bad hotel for business travel. The hotel is conveniently located near the hotel in the RTP area. The hotel itself is in good shape overall although the gym was in a state of renovation when I got there. The pool could use some work. The staff was extremely nice and pleasant. The only real downside was the large business group that were loud and drunk for 2 nights in a row. Great comfy place, very applicable for business or personal /holiday stays. Staff is super helpful and polite without being intrusive, very clean place. They have a simple but good enough breakfast if included in the room charge, but I would look for other places for breakfast if you're paying separate. Enjoyed my stay very very much.

What I enjoyed most was the friendliness of the staff that you come in contact with just simply walking in the hallway, or getting on the elevators and how helpful they were. I liked how the refreshments were on time to our event. I was also excited to see makeup wipes because I had forgot mine. I will recommend this hotel everyone. Thanks Doubletree it was excellent.

Fresh clean rooms with perfect beds, TV, fridge, free internet, and uber modern bathroom with luxury soaps and shampoos. Topped off with warm chocolate macadamia cookie at gorgeous front lobby with fireplace. What more can you ask for?

Very friendly staff. Comfortable room and nicely-appointed bathroom. Went out of their way to get me into a room early on checkin. Restaurant served salad at dinner that had been in the cooler (and dried out) since lunch and salad dressing old enough to have skin on the top of it. NOT a non-smoking property; the beautiful back deck is, apparently, a smoking area. Simple request made in person to the front desk (broken iron) ignored and had to be repeated. For a Hilton, they could do with more attention to detail.

Checking in was fast and friendly. We got wheelchair accessible room and there was no shower chair, called front desk and in a matter of 15 minutes we had the chair. Room was need and clean. Bed was comfortable. They served an all you can eat breakfast buffet and had eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and graveyard, pancakes, fruit, oatmeal and so much more. We sat outside with ceiling fans and it was nice and cool and peaceful. Very clean.

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip and had heard great things about DoubleTree by Hilton as I had previously stayed at other Hilton hotels such as the Clearwater Beach Hilton Hotel (fantastic, only hotel with direct beach access on Clearwater Beach) and had great luck. I was instantly greeted by employees outside and asked if they could take my bags, to which I told them that I could certainly carry my own bags in but thank you anyways (a nice touch). I then strolled into the main entrance and was promptly greeted by the front desk staff, all of whom were smiling and seemed to enjoy their jobs very much. My room was all ready for me as soon as I arrived and I was in and out of check in, in no time. The front entrance was what I would think a southern mansion, very impressive. The rooms were great too, very clean, open, had everything that I needed to enjoy my stay and was literally 2 minutes from where I had to work and was very close to the airport, although you could not hear any planes flying overhead. The pool and fitness center were great as well as I was able to get in workouts every day while on my business trip. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was nothing short of spectacular, from top to bottom. There was ample parking and the staff also gave me some suggestions as to local places to eat (where the locals go) to get authentic North Carolina fare, yum!

I attended a splunk event here. I did not stay the night in a room. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very attentive to our needs.

We had a company function here. It was spacious and the food served by the hotel was great. The location is great being right if the highway near 40 and 540.

The room was Absolutely clean, quite and big. There is a beautiful varanda with rocking chairs and a swing seat, so lovely. The front desk was very helpful and friendly even the shuttle driver was so sweet I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We have been here a couple times during lunch. Some items are good but salmon was not fresh today. Pork and curry was pretty good. As usual, service is slow but they are always polite.

Nice hotel. Very secluded with nice courtyard and relaxing. Restaurant was delicious. Fried oysters were great. Love the cookie at check in and the room was very nice.

The staff is exceptional, Wayne Palmer goes above and beyond to provide Quality Customer Service. The Resturant serves delicious meals that you can enjoy right on the premises. The rooms are clean and inviting. It goes without saying the cookies are excellent, all around the atmosphere is always welcoming. When my husband and I just wanna run away this is where we come Doubletree!

I was quite impressed with the Doubletree. Their courteous staff helped to make the best of a bad situation when I was cancelled at RDU and had to spend the night. They even got me to the airport by 4:45 AM.

To be honest, the hotel itself was a bit noisy with poor sound proof but the staff was great. Just had Brian and Wayne helped me to deal with a business emergency and they were awesome. Hope their management is reading this and reward appropriately.

I would give the hotel 4 stars. Everything was clean and the staff very friendly. Would stay here again.

Lovely hotel with clean rooms. Not much in the way of food or anything nearby. 15 min walk gets you a few fast food places. Staff is very friendly and were quick to deliver anything you felt the room was missing such as an ironing board.

My wife and I held our wedding at this hotel, and they certainly did not disappointed us. They took care of every detail, and everything went perfectly.

Nice hotel at a good price.

While the photos and review give the impression of a serene countryside retreat, our one night here was anything but pleasant. With crowds of wedding guests yelling up and down the third floor hallways throughout the night, we called down to reception at 1am, 2am 3am and 3.30am, each time being promised that security would fix the problem. If we had one hour's sleep the entire night, I would be surprised. We cut our trip short and checked out the next morning since nobody at the front desk made any attempt to resolve the issue. This is marketed as a 4-star hotel on Hotwire with free Wi-Fi — in practice the Wi-Fi costs $10/day and these are 3-star accommodations at best (no bath robes, small bathrooms, etc. ) The lobby has been dressed up to look upscale but when a hotel makes no attempt to control its unruly guests and stop hallway parties in the small hours, it doesn't mean anything if you can't sleep.

Lovely covered patio, great food and generous wine pours. Recommend for hospitality event like the one I attended last night to support the American Cancer Society, featuring cancer-survivor UNC basketball coach Sylvia Hatchell.

Their airport shuttle is VERY unreliable! We waited 2 hours for the shuttle. When we called, they said it had already come, even though we were seated exactly where they told us to. They kept saying it would be 10 more minutes but in reality it was 40 between each phone call! Still waiting.

DoubleTree is the best and most reliable hotel in the Raleigh Durham airport area. Ask for Johnny Silver at breakfast. He will make sure your breakfast is fantastic. I have had a great time with a great staff at this hotel. They are very attentive to your needs. I won't go anywhere else.

First room was 2 grades below what we paid for. Second room balcony overlooked the roof and noisy AC units and was dirty. Third room had a haunted TV that wouldn't turn off, static constantly. Called maintenance 3 times and no one ever showed up. Finally got an acceptable room about 1am. Room service forgot about us. Finally got food and they didn't being me dressing for my salad. The only things good about this place is the proximity to rdu, and the staff at the front desk were nice. And they give you delicious cookies! Still will never stay there again.

Stayed here twice over the past few years. An excellent place to stay whether for an overnight stay waiting for a flight at the airport or for an extended stay. Rooms are very clean and convienent thanks to having a mini fridge in them. This Hilton is right off the highway but the road noise can't be heard. It is also has a bar in the building, a pool (of course) and a business center (that you have to pay for). This particular Hilton has some nice looking porch swings and rocking chairs in the front of the building under a covered area.

Service is horrible. Don't have any meals at their restaurant or bar. Slow service with no apologies or reasons. My breakfast eggs were overcooked to rubber and my pancakes were undercooked and gooey inside. Rooms are average: small for size, horrendous "grandma shabby chic" decor. If your rm is on the wrong wing of the hotel your Wi-Fi signal is so weak, the connection cuts in and out. Location is not desirable. Very far away from the sights.
