A little rundown, room 200 has issues with the outlets. Pool was nice. Breakfast was decent.

I wish there was a negative rating, mainly for customer service, because they really don't deserve a star. As a veteran and with Havelock being my home, I was very disrespected and embarrassed last weekend when I reserved a room for my father who drove 15hrs from Michigan to visit. I was told that check in time was at 4pm on 4/20/18, but later found out it was @ 2pm. My father, who is also a marine veteran, and I arrived a little after 4pm and tried to check in and we were told that the rooms were booked. I was very upset because I had just spoke with the manager, Kam, the day before and he confirmed that everything was okay with checking in the next day. I could not believe my ears when he told me that they did not have any rooms available in front of a room full of people and he rudely dismissed me like I was not even standing there! I was like really? Are you serious right now? My father told me not to worry about it and he would go further in Havelock and look for a room. Then the b$stard manager told us that there were not any other rooms available in Havelock. I was like how the f do you know? Then he dismissed me again and asked for the next customer to step forward. Lord Jesus, I was on fire! I would say racist, but he wasn't even white (not to offend anyone). Just a freaking a# Thank you, but no thank you for your rude a@# services. Never again will you get a penny from me.

Needs a serious renovation. The hallway had peeling wallpaper, the carpet was covered in stains and the safe in my room had been knocked off the wall. Had to change rooms because the AC wasn't working in the first room. Spoke with some other guests and they had the same issue with the AC, so it was more than one room. Breakfast was decent and the bed was comfortable.

On July 7, 2018 me and my family checked in to this place at 3:25am. We checked out the same morning at 10:55am. After waiting in lobby for more than 5 minutes the associate comes to counter from back room. Took alk my info, including icensevand credit card, asked him how much and he said price is $126.01 after tax. Got the room, we were all exhausted and needed to sleep. Gentleman only had me initial a small card in 2 places and sign the bottom which is lime most places. At 10:55am I checked out and returned both key cards. He then gave me the receipt that states one charge of $126.01. So later today 7-7-18 found a much cheaper room for one more night in Morehead. Gave this associate the same credit card, which was declined twice in a row. I immediately accessed my account on line and found one charge of $126.01, saw second charge $124.01, and a third charge if $126.01. I immediately called the hotel in clouding corporate office about my concerns relating to this discrepancy. The manger of hotel, his employee and associate with corporate were all 3 extremely rude, and treated me like I'm an idiot. Which is not very professional. No one can give me a legit answer as to why I was charged 3 times for 1 room while being extremely RUDE. Needless to say, the hotels way of making it right is it issue one credit to my card of $126.01. And both told me they are not returning the second charge of $124.01.

The worst quality inn I've been to. No ac in the lobby or hallways. It stayed 79 degrees in my room with "ac" running full blast. Mildew smell on all of first floor. People were in our reserved room! Never staying at any quality ever agian.

We stayed here on the weekend and the room was dirty, the t. V in one of of our rooms didn't work. The fone was pulled out of the wall, the plugs by the beds didn't work. And the management was very disreputable. We're not even going to talk about breakfast, they should just stop that all together, they don't put out enough, if you don't get there by 6 a. M you won't get any. The cereal was stale also the juices was watered.

Stay away… danger. They are running a scam here. We booked our room and paid thru priceline. When we went to check in, he printed up a phony reservation form and said my address on my DL did not match what he had, so he couldn't honor my reservation. He did this to 4 other people while on hold with Priceline in the Lobby. Booking entities don't give addresses to hotels. He's a liar and a thief. He wanted me to cancel and rebook at his higher rate. The police verified what I said and are investigating. Stay away… go elsewhere!

NO STARS! DO NOT STAY HERE! Choice Hotels needs to remove this Quality Inn from their list. There is no Quality here. Booked on Priceline and very rude manager would not honor our reservation. Said he did not know why Priceline was renting out HIS rooms so cheaply ($85) and that he was over booked Said HIS rooms rent for $150. (Choice Hotels lists at $70) Said it wasn't his problem to get our $$ back. We called Priceline while standing there and they called him. He argued with them also. The front desk girls looked embarrassed to be working with him. Another woman was there who had booked online also and he had charged her again. There was standing water in the lobby ladies room. The bar/restaurant sign said opened at 7pm. Worst experience ever!

This was the absolute hotel experience I have ever had. Booked online through the employee discount website. Arrived around 12:30 and was greeted by the OWNER at the front desk. He told me that he would not honor my reservation that I had already paid for because I got it for $67 a night and his hotel rate is $99 a night. I told him I had already paid for it and showed him the email confirmation where he told me it wasn’t his problem and I needed to call them and get my money back. Refused to work with my while I am standing there at 1 am now with my 3 month baby giving me every excuse in the book as to why he wouldn’t take me reservation. Told me he had already turned down 4 other reservations that day for the same reason. So if you book on Expedia or whatever for a better rate don’t expect him to honour it. Hotel was super dirty and ran down as well. Whatever you do, do not give this man your money.

Good hotel for the price. Clean linens, hot shower.

Worst place ever stayed we stayed here when there was a winter storm in January I know late review but there was a death in family well we my mom call them to make a reservation did that but my dad also called afterwards to make sure everything was correct they said yes well when we got there they did not have our room ready we get in the room it’s freezing and the lights don’t work so they give us a nother room same thing happened it took them 3 times to give us a room that was warm and had light that worked so we stayed there for 3 nights had no other option because our heat broke in our house and they Excepted pets well long story short we where supposed to stay for four nights but on the third night the manager comes up to our room banging on the door I answer it in a cute seeing me that we started a fire he saying you can’t smell the smoke no I said turns out that there was a fire they did not let any of their guest know there was a old woman in a wheelchair who had to be out in the freezing cold because the smoke was so bad my dad followed them no fire alarm when off my dad followed them to the laundry room and the hole room was filled with smoke and one of the people who worked there thought it was a gas leak my dad made them call the fire department and they actually Knock down a wall but they keep saying there was no problem they put everyone in danger and did not call the fire department I would never stay there if you have family don’t stay there We did not stay

Hotel is old. The horror room, the bathroom is collapsing, the bed linen is in stained spots. Pets 25 $ per night. For breakfast, the food is not the first freshness.

Check in and check out was the best part of this process… The ladies were very knowledgeable and efficient. The rest of the stay was remarkable… and not in a good way. There was a booger on the wall of the shower. The toilet paper holder was loose. There was a chip in paint in the ceiling the width of a softball. The place defiantly needs a refresh. Breakfast was called "hot" but food wise, it was sausage links and scrambled egg discs… I am assuming that they were eggs. My second day, they were out if eggs and yogurt. If you just need a cheap place to crash for a couple days and don't mind a few "quirks"… fine… I would not chose to stay here with my family. Update: Stayed again last week. Not much had changed. If budget is your only concern… this is your place.

The rooms are not bad. There is NEVER anyone at the front desk. The breakfast is ok when and if they decide to open it, it says 6-9am however I have gone in after 7 and it wasn't out yet.

If you like roaches, mysterious stains, and rooms that are falling apart, this is the place for you. There is also great morning wake up service as well (the house keeping likes to do their cleaning very early and are very persistent about banging on your door while you try to sleep so they can gain entry even with a do not disturb sign hanging up). If you want to pay more money than what you should be paying by staying in a place like this, this is the place for you my friend.

Nice for the price. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was average. Room was clean and comfortable. Outside could use some updating, but inside is nice. We will use them again when in the area.

Don't waste your time with this dump! We had no choice but to stay here since it was last minute. We had to change rooms 4 times due to the rooms being dirty and in horrible condition. There was trash stuck on the wall, holes in the shower and all over the walls, carpet had holes in it, we had no hot water and there were spiders as well. The rooms have a musty smell to them. The building is in terrible condition and you can tell the owners don't care nor do they care much about customer service and keeping the guests happy.

Nice place to stay, I was hesitant at first by the looks of outside but as soon as we walked in it was very nice. Rooms were clean and the staff were very professional and pleasant. Everything you needed at your fingertips they even had a nice bar that stayed open til 3am and served great food. Buffet breakfast in the morning and access to a little gym and pool to work it off. Reasonable price for a pleasant stay!

Run down. Parking lot pavement was ripped up all over. Bathroom smelled bad. Did have hot water at all for 4 days of my stay. I was told it was being "fixed. " It was quiet however and the room was clean. Refrigerator was ice cold. In fact it froze anything you put in there. Internet was slow.

Do not stay at this hotel if you have any other choices. The grounds are run down. The staff is indifferent. The breakfast is adequate when they haven't run out of almost everything. The rooms are pretty clean but fixtures are rusty or otherwise falling apart. No wired internet, or only sporadic. Wired internet is adequate. Supply of hot water iffy. I found a drunk guest sleeping in the lobby and no one had thought that might be unsettling to other guests (or perhaps they didn't notice which doesn't make you feel good about security) — when I pointed it out they laughed it off.

Its a nice place to stay when you are in Havelack, NC. Especially if you have an dog or cat with you too. The Chamber maid Michelle was fantastic what ever we needed she got it for us.
The only thing the air conditioner was cool but not that cool and the hallways should be air conditioned. The hallways were like an inferno. And the location was perfect. We are from Long Island, New York.

Clean rooms plenty of space and the best continental breakfast I've ever have.

I liked that it was clean and quiet. No frills in this room. Decor outdated and breakfast wasn't awesome, but the staff was friendly and accommodating. It was a nice basic room with a comfy bed. Slept great here.

We visited on September 17 2016 for a celebration of life gathering at the hotel for a family member which we also stayed at the hotel too. Check in was easy the receptionist was very nice and polite and helpful the rooms were more then we expected clean updated,, a big flat screen TV a safe, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker AC worked really well. We didn't make breakfast because of a early check out, but I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone… and we came from Washington DC… good job will be back. Also the had a pool which was open everything ran smoothly.

Hotel was so nasty and disgusting. The bed was broken old shaving cream and hair on the shower walls the ac didnt work. The manager was extremely rude we were supposed to stay 4 nights after the first night I checked out because I was not subjecting my family to that filth. My dogs cage is cleaner than that place. I have no idea how that place is still in business they clearly do not care about their name or guests. I am so lucky I was able to get a pet friendly room at the holiday inn for the remainder of our trip. That place ruined our first half of our vacation. Everyone should be warned not to stay in this disgusting place.

This place is awful. The parking lot only has lighting in the front so everyone squeezes in there because everyone is afraid to park In the dark. The air conditioner didn't even work and we were hot all night, we even said something to the front desk about it and they said it's okay and did nothing. The room also smelled bad. The bed was a nightmare, we found bugs that could have been bed bugs in the bed. Save your money and your health and sleep in your car.

Stayed at the quality inn in Havelock, NC. The weekend of 22 July 2016 and my wife got scabies, after going to the doctor to confirm what the problem, I called the manager to inform him of the problem, he acted like he was not concern with the problem. He told me that he has guest in the room. After his not concern I informed the manager that I will be reporting the fact to the Havelock health department, I would no recommend this place to anyone but a DOG. Dogs are allowed to stay in some rooms.

Don't go if you desire sanity. The summer heat lingers in the rooms due to the owners inability to activate the heat suppression systems before your arrival to the room. Imagine, if you will, roasting in the pits of hell laboring away at whatever Satan deems hell worthy and your only root of solace is a comforting sleep for a few hours in a seemingly comfortable cocoon, only to find that this cocoon is set to 350 degrees for 15 minutes until golden brown with a warm bud-light. Do yourselves a favor, stay out of Hell.

Safe yourself a hard time and don't stay here! Worst 4th of July, made out of Quality Inn. Terrible, unfriendly, rude receptionist. Water wasn't running through the bathtub pipe, beds were unbelievable dusty! Phone line wasn't working! Like, when was the last time this room has been cleaned,? even worst, do they even clean and keep up with maintenance? Had to talk to the supervisor (using my personal phone because of the phone line problem) cause the receptionist I talked to was very rud, yielded at me on the phone. All I asked about was for this beds to be changed. The supervisor came to the room and solve the problem by sending the girl to change the beds sheets and pillow cases ONLY. Attitude of curse involved, again, from her. Told me to "change the bed my self"!

My crew and my self had 3 rooms that were very clean, the staff is very helpful. For the price you will not find a better place to stay in Havelock.

Place is big. Plenty of parking for trucks. My first room had a few bed bugs. Front staff gave me a new room. Second room bathroom had not been clean properly. Staff was nice and accommodating.

If you are traveling on a budget, I would recommend this Quality Inn. Nothing fancy about it but the rooms are fine and everything works.

Smelled musty other than that good.

The lights in the room we were first given did not all work but after reporting this to the front desk, we were immediately given a nearby room with working ligbts and all other amenities. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Clean rooms friendly service good breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I honestly thought we were walking into another BATES MOTEL when I booked this but once we got here, WOW it's really nice and fancy considering it's not a fancy chain hotel. Im def coming back here. The manager is really nice, the staff are really nice, the pool is great, breakfast was great. I'm glad we chose to stay here… WE VOTED THAT WE WILLL DEF COME BACK.

I stayed here on business… this is by far one of the best quality inns I have ever stayed in great service clean rooms flat screen TV microwave and fridge A++++
