Room is nice and clean. Very well worth the price and convenient to plenty of restaurants.

I stayed here a week. There is no breakfast, unless you consider two cereals as such. Coffee is only in the morning. No coffee pot in the room nor is there a rack to hang your clothes. It's very basic. The rooms very small and beds could be updated. They could also use new linens here. But there is a microwave and small fridge and cable.

Newly renovated. Clean and basic. I was worried it would be another roach motel, but it's Not!. Very nice comfortable stay for the price. Has cable, AC, Wi-Fi large fridge, and promos to papa John's pizza, which end up being really good. The location however is not that good — seems isolated or desolate.

Was nervous about stopping here, but rooms were clean and renovated. Not bad for a nights stay.

This place seemed decently clean at first compared to another low budget motel I looked at down the street. But when I turned the lights off, apparently the hidden critters (roaches) came out to play. I had to sleep with all the lights on at that point, as that was my best option to try to get make it through the night. I checked out in the morning and received a full refund. They are nice people there I just hope they get that situation dealt with for the comfort of any future guests.

It's inexpensive and the beds are nice. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it's great for the value.

We were going to check in but decided to check the room out first. Thank God we did. As we passed the other rooms from the outside all of the curtains looked filthy and stained. We opened our door and it was one of the filthy estate smelly places we have ever seen. The sheets were gray from being old and dirty and the comforters were just as bad. The beds had dents in them from saggiing and looked like someone slept there on top of the comforters. We didn't even get to the bathroom as I was afraid to go any further. Now looking at the reviews of filth in essence and bug problems I don't know how this place can legally be operating. I would like to know why they are not shut down. They allow pets with approval. No pet should ever enter this place. If I could give negative stars this would have many negative stars. I always write reviews for good or bad businesses. This is beyond bad.

Room was awful dirty carpet dirty microwave roaches of all sizes TV from the 80s please never stay here need to go to the hospital to be tested for NE viruses or stds worst place I've ever stayed in my life was only there for about 3hr need to sleep on a long drive would have rather slept on the floor of a pee show please pass this place up drive fast.

Well, the stay started out well. The manager was attending the front desk and he was very brief but polite. He gave me room 205, I requested 1 QUEEN SIZE BED, CABLE, AND FREE Wi-Fi CONNECTION. I check in at 7 pm, ate the food I had bought, sat at then table, used my laptop and watched tv. Later, 10:30 came along and I was ready for bed, I pulled back the sheets and it was full of crawling bed bugs. So, I called to the front desk, there was a new person on shift, I tell him the situation and he rudely replies " Oh my god, WHAT, well pack your things up and come to the front desk"! I was unsure if he was upset that I found bed bug, or if he was upset because of the work ahead of him. Now I HAVE TO PACK ALL MY THINGS AND TAKE THEM DOWN STAIR! I get downstairs and he is talking really loud a angry saying the are no bed bugs in the this hotel, I just ask for a refund because now he has now insulted me by calling me a liar. He says I won't be getting a refund instead I get a new key to 206, the room next door! I TAKE ALL OF MY LUGGAGE back upstairs to 206. The room window is open and I sit my luggage down. I see the front desk clerk coming upstairs to cut off the lights in the previous room, I follow him and I prove to him that there are bugs covering the bed, and he agree, but says well the room next door wont have any bugs! I rush next door and there are also bed bugs on the bed in 206 I try to show this to him and he continue down the stairs as if he does not hear me speaking.

Had an medical emergency and had to stop in lumberton. The price drew us in. We just needed a clean room to sleep for the night. Room was clean it served its purpose.

My husband and I booked a room at this location for 2 nights during our wedding stay in Lumberton. Along with us we brought relatives from out of the country. As soon as we opened the door, I was absolutely mortified and totally embarrassed that I had picked this place! Our room smelled like stale Chinese food, and our relatives room was musty and stale. There was mold in the bathrooms, a layer of dust on EVERYTHING, including around the baseboards like they only vacuum the center of the room. There was a dirty Q-Tip and a used toothpick laying on the floor — where it stayed because I was so grossed out to remove it. My best friend also booked a room there, but was smart enough to tell them to shove it after asking for a non-smoking room and getting a smoking room. They were given a different room and when she pulled back the bed cover, there were 2-3 roaches. We spent one night there that was anything less than the a romantic time that it was supposed to be — we slept with our clothes on, on top of the sheets (which didn't fit the bed) and were afraid to take our shoes off. The next day (day of the wedding) we decided to cut our losses and booked a different hotel. I told the manager that we were leaving because the room was disgusting and smelled, to which is response was indifferent. We didn't get any money back.
