Special kudos to the kitchen staff! They made sure we had breakfast, even though we're almost to late. Plus a wonderful gal checked on us several times to be sure we had everything we needed for our trip. The hotel staff was also very friendly… all of them that I met & didn't meet. Nice clean rooms… had a very restful night! Nice facility even though we didn't take advantage of it this time. If we are ever close by again I definitely plan on staying there!

Nice rooms — plenty of available power outlets. I've been in rooms with one working outlet. Modern travellers have at a minimum, a smartphone and one other electronic device. Families have even more. Otherwise, rooms are nice. Plenty of space. In addition to normal shampoo, conditioner and lotion, they also include mouthwash. Appreciated.

Very clean and well supplied room. When we arrived @ 3:45pm we had wanted to store our suitcases while we went to our son’s house until we went back to sleep. Unfortunately none of the accessible rooms were ready. The staff understood and asked if there was anything to help with the disappointment. We left and finally checked in after dinner. Room was great but one suggestion is offer a tub seat for those who can’t stand inside a shower. Take a hint from Marriott who have pull done seats inside the tub. I’m assuming we will have to buy a portable one to use with Hilton bathrooms. Food was good and the staff really were keeping up with the demand. One other problem was there were more “diamond” car parking slots then handicap. I saw a lot of older generation guests which may bring more handicapped travelers who need to park closer to the entrance. 3 handicap slots and the rest were diamond or regular parking spaces. We had a good stay none the less. Nice and quiet.

Great place. Quiet, courteous and clean. Good free breakfast. I would go there again.

Very good service. All the staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Will definitely return. I travel a lot for business and these people were definitely among the best.

Too expensive but very clean. Pool and hot tub was cold and out of service.

I had an overnight business meeting here. My room was ok, had no issues and the meeting room and amenities during my stay was good. No problems and I would stay again. Nice friendly staff.

Everyone in the inn was very nice and outgoing. The breakfast was good and the rooms were very nice and well kept. There was a cleanup guy so very friendly even with his disability he was deaf Jason thank you for making my son laugh and be happy. Everyone was great if we have to come to town again we will sure go there again.

We always enjoy our stays at Hampton Inn and suites. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the coffee is always available. The staff is friendly and professional.

This is the best Hampton my husband and I have ever stayed in! The staff, without exception, was superb—very warm, friendly and helpful. For example, their complimentary cookies contained chocolate and I can’t have caffeine so the front desk employee brought a small box of peanut butter cookies to me out in the sitting area. She definitely went above and beyond to accommodate me! Another example was the interaction of the breakfast staff with each customer. We were all sincerely wished a good day and safe travel as we departed! I even received a good-bye hug from one of the ladies upon checking out after three nights! Our room was sparkling clean and our bed and bedding were so comfortable. And I loved having a bath tub—after the first two Hampton Inns we stayed in only had showers! Fortunately for us, the Christmas decorations were still in place when we arrived because they were absolutely gorgeous! Loved all the decorated trees! If our future travel takes us back to Hickory, we’ll most certainly return to this Hampton Inn!

Nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. I have stayed on two different occasions for business and enjoyed my stay both times. If you are sensitive to noise ask for a room that doesn't face the highway. Complimentary breakfast, water and fuze teas round out the list of positives for this hotel.

The entire staff was extremely nice. The lady that serves the breakfast went above and beyond the call of duty. Very nice.

I love the Hampton Inn in Hickory. My wife and I stay here whenever we come to visit family and we've never had anything less than a stellar experience. Great rooms and the nicest staff I've ever encountered.

Employees are very friendly. Our room was very spacious and clean! The coffee was cold and the hot water for hot chocolate. They didn't seem to eager to fix the problem. Breakfast was plentiful however the bagel toppers looked like they had been sitting for awhile and were cold. The internet connection is also horrible. My husband and I kept getting disconnected. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. I stepped to the front desk to ask for two towels so my kids could shower after they got out of the pool. I was told he only had 1 towel and the pool area had towels. I shouldn't have to hunt down towels. We have stayed here before and never had these issues. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

The best Hampton inn! The rooms are clean and the service is 10 stars we come back every year and it is always clean friendly and the breakfast is wonderfull.

Most amazing anywhere in Hamptonville I have ever seen. Beautiful housekeeping actually amazing I would hire them. Everyone is so beautiful for caring. Not one Hampton beats them. Truth amazing staff went out of the way for my wife. She has poor sleep habits and they were patient and tops.

As usual the Hampton Inn didn't disappoint. Never been to this location before but the rooms were big and clean, staff friendly and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the location convenient. If I'm back in Hickory I'll be back.

We didn't do much except with the conference room. It was very nice, spacious, and well kept. The staff I encountered were nice. The drinks and snacks were too expensive for my taste, but it's a nice hotel.

King size room was exquisite, friendly people and super clean. Room layout was a welcomed change/layout than that of average hotels. Roomy and modern. Breakfast on site. Absolutely will stay here again.

Stayed 2 nights for my cousins wedding. Super clean. Updated, and well kept. The breakfast was the best I've had in a hotel. We woke one morning with no hot water and it was fixed within 2 hours. These things can not be helped but I think it was fixed in a timely manner. We only stay in Hampton inns or hiltons and this is one of the nicest.

This Hampton Inn property is very clean and well-maintained; kudos to the Housekeeping staff. The best aspect of it, though, is the world-class service. When our a/c thermostat broke overnight (it happens), the staff and Engineering took steps to make us comfortable as soon as they were notified. We returned to our room that afternoon to find a surprise beyond anything we could have expected. I travel A LOT, staying at 4 and 5-star hotels, and the service we received easily puts this property in the top 5% of any I've stayed at.

The rooms were pretty clean, beds slept well. Breakfast was mostly sugar filled foods.

The hotel is not bad. The pillows are terrible though. And there is no bar or restaurant or jacuzzi in house. The do offer free breakfast every morning. The AC/heater is on the wall and not above. They do have a pool and the staff was polite and helpful.

Reasonably up to date and very clean. My room was quiet and comfortable. The pillows kind of sucked but it was otherwise good. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

Good but not as good as the one in Lexington SC. TV was bigger and showed a list of the channels and our bill was abt 40$ less a night there. Other than that everything was fine. O.

We've stayed at the Hampton Inn in Hickory twice and it's been just fine both times. Friendly and helpful front desk staff, clean rooms, reasonably comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower. We have yet to take advantage of the continental breakfast or other parts of the hotel like the pool or business center, so can't vouch for those. The rooms, though, are aggressively fine: nothing bad, and nothing extraordinary, just clean and comfortable. The rooms with king beds are pretty large; one had a loveseat, and the other had extra floor space instead. Wifi is included and easy to access. The hotel itself is just down the hill from Hickory's main strip shopping area and lots of food. I recommend the Zaxby's house salad with fried chicken, Jason's Deli for the salad bar, or Mellow Mushroom for pizza.

Probably the nicest Hampton I've ever stayed in. The omelets on the breakfast bar were delicious. The rooms were very nice as well. Highly recommend staying here.

VERY CLEAN! I loved everything about this hotel! It was very nice not having to worry about having my car stolen, unlike my stay at the Best Western in Greensboro. The rooms had plenty of space to practice my cartweels and flips. I would recommend this to ANY people that are looking for somewhere to stay, it makes you feel like you're living in a castle. But. The hot chocolate tasted like someone put tea in it. Hold on now its thundering and the TV got all messed up and I'm not quite sure if my review is correct now. I'm rethinking the whole stay.
